Klaus' Mansion

Mystic Falls, Virginia, 2010

"Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Es Tas Sue Sasta Nanse, Transum Viso. Mas Tenas Quisa, Nas Metam," Jonas chanted in latin over and over again.

Dr. Jonas Martin didn't know how long he could hold the spell. He was sending his son Luka's astral form into the devil's den to pluck a dagger out of an Original vampire to save his other child.

Greta had always been headstrong, but it wasn't until his wife died, that Greta began to truly rebel. Jonas had always protected his children from dark magic. The lure of it poisoned many a good witch and lead to his or her destruction. But it wasn't even Jonas himself who caught Greta, it was their coven in Boston. She was cast out- forever. The details of what Greta actually did were hazy. They fled in the night to Texas. They started over. His son, Luka, a good boy, only 14...had to start a new life. Then, it happened again. This time, Jonas caught Greta doing sacrificial magic. It wasn't the dead snakes and cats that bothered him, it was the look in her eye. The little girl who loved stray animals had died with her mother, it seemed. They argued. She left. He had a son to protect. But then Dr. Martin got a visitor. A clean cut white man in an impeccably cut suit named Elijah...They made a deal, if the Martins helped Elijah, he would return Greta to them.

Of course, Dr. Martin had no idea, he, too was dealing with the devil.

Luka's form located the correct coffin. He hefted it open and saw the pale man with brown hair.

Usually all the psychic force he had, he yanked out the magical dagger. It clattered to the floor with the bang. Luka, in his astral form, winced. He had to get out of here. He started to flee.

"Luka, what are you doing here?" Greta trembled.

"Greta, oh my God, you're alive. Dad wasn't even sure. Are you okay? Where were they holding you?" Luka asked in a rush.

"Holding me? What are you talking about? I wasn't a prisoner!" Greta smiled. Her smile froze as fangs clamped down on her throat from behind. The vampire drained her quickly.

Luka screamed out, "No!" but it was too late. The vampire dropped her body to the ground with a thud.

"Hello, darling. Who are you?" Luka's form fled and the vampire did not chase. Instead, he begun flinging open other coffins in the room and pulling out daggers.

Gilbert Residence

Stefan was frowning as he carefully shut Elena's bedroom door.

"She's finally sleeping. I got her to take some aspirin and she let me put some bruising cream on her backside, but I can tell she's in pain. I never should have left her!" Stefan hissed to Damon and Alaric in the hallway.

Damon gripped Stefan's bicep, "It wasn't your fault, Brother. How the hell would you have known that the ghosts of her psycho grandparents would possess Ric and Jenna? It's ridiculous."

Ric scrubbed his face with his hand, "I can't believe it. The worst part is that I remember doing it. I paddled her. It was my body, but I was not in control. I couldn't stop the ghost, he had full control of me. You know I would never hurt Elena." Ric wanted to punch the wall.

Damon turned to his friend, "Look, Ric. We all know that you would give your life for that girl. If you can forgive me for snapping your neck, she can forgive you for...Buddy, it really wasn't you. I mean, I don't even know how this happened to you."

Stefan took a breath, "Jenna said something about that wooden spoon? Did you touch something that could have caused you to get possessed?"

Ric felt his ears burning and groaned, "I was digging through some boxes in the basement. Since John got here, I have been suspicious of the guy. I was looking for the Gilbert journals, but those must be hidden. All I found was an old insurance ledger and this musty old...sport coat."

Damon pieced together, "So you touched John, Sr.'s old book and coat and became him. Jenna touched the spoon and became Patricia Gilbert...But what about John? Was he possessed? Because he said something that might lead me to think he is one of the last Augustines. And if he is, I need to kill him."

Stefan put a hand on Damon's chest, "He's Elena's uncle. You can't kill him!"

Alaric balked, "Guys, he's not her...uncle exactly."

Damon gave Ric a strange look, "What are you talking about?"

"When I was paddling his ass in the guest room when I thought he was my son, he told me that...Elena was his daughter. He said he gave her to 'Gray' to raise," Ric added. "I really wish you could compel that memory from my mind. I mean the guy probably deserved it, but damn, while I was doing it, he was my son."

Damon cringed and said, "Sorry, man. That's pretty rough. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy and I actually do think Uncle John might be my worse enemy!"

Jenna came out of her bedroom. She had been crying. Ric put an arm around her. "You okay?"

"Not really?" Jenna croaked. Jenna was wearing a flannel robe, but holding herself as if she was freezing.

Stefan said, "None of this is your fault, Jenna. You were possessed. The ghosts or whomever was controlling them did this."

"But Elena! I know physically, she will heal, but the look on her face...She was afraid of me. She's never going to to see me and not think of her horrible Gilbert grandmother. I wish there was a way to just scrub it from her memory," Jenna put her head on Ric's chest.

Ric lifted her head, "Hey Jenna, did you know that Elena was adopted?"

Jenna blinked in shock, "Of course I did, Miranda was my only sister. She wanted to tell Elena but Grayson didn't want her to. Why?"

"John admitted to being her biological father...when he thought I was his father," Ric said softly.

Jenna held her hands over her mouth and run to the toilet vomiting. "I didn't know."

Ric went to the doorway of the bathroom, "He told Jeremy he filed for full custody of both of the kids."

Jenna wiped her mouth. "I want that bastard out of this house right now!"

Stefan handed Jenna a towel, "Are you okay?"

"I think. Thanks," Jenna replied. "Or I will be when John Gilbert is gone again. Which he will be."

"John said something about me living here. Maybe I better move back into my loft? I don't want to cause any problems. I mean, more problems," Ric said softly.

"No, Ric. You stay. He won't win this. He just wants those kids out of spite and to control them and this town. He is so against vampires that he doesn't realize that he became a worse monster fighting them," Jenna said splashing water on her face.

Damon said, "We're not going to let him win. We need to come up with a plan."

Klaus' Mansion

Kol undaggered Elijah first, then Rebekah, and then Kol. Mother's coffin was sealed by magic. The pretty Black witch was drained, but Kol found two maids and dragged them to his siblings. All it really took was the dagger getting taken out and a drop or so of blood to truly revive, but a decent drink would give his siblings strength.

"Kol?" Finn asked in confusion.

"Aye, Brother," Kol said.

Rebekah dusted herself off, "What bloody year is this?"

"I haven't an idea? 1930 maybe?" Kol suggested. "What'd we miss? Anything interesting happen?"

Elijah laughed, "Siblings. It is the year 2010. You have been asleep a long time. By the time on my phone, I have only been out a few hours, but Niklaus is going to learn a good lesson tonight."

"2010...," Kol repeated in shock. "A century. A bloody century. Where is Marcellus? Are we in New Orleans?"

Rebekah stomped around, "The last I recall I was in Chicago with Nik in the 1920s and Stefan...then Father found us."

Finn said something none of them understood, but Elijah helped him up to fed off the girl.

Elijah smiled, "We are home. In Mystic Falls. Kol, after you were daggered. Father did find us and burned down half the city block. Marcel didn't make it."

"What?" Kol said in shock. "Maybe if I wouldn't have been in the damn coffin I could have done something. That bastard! Where is he?"

"I do not know. I see Niklaus' witch is dead. That is unfortunate as her family is helping me," Elijah said wearily.

"Well, at least it looks like nothing too great has changed," Kol offered.

Elijah turned, "There was a second World War, two atomic bombs, wars against communism, a Cold War, they sent a man to the moon, to space, women's liberation, civil rights, computers, television...You might have missed a few things actually. But right now, we need to find Niklaus before he finds us."

"There was a first World War? Really?" Kol asked in shock. "Who won?"

"But the Great War was to end all wars," Rebekah mused, still thinking about what Elijah said. Finn was silent and trying to follow there conversation. Elijah tried to fill him in using Old Norse or Middle French, the best he could.

Elijah frowned, "Ah, we won, I suppose because the Great War was only the beginning of a century of slaughter, I am afraid. Yet great innovations. Shh, listen." The Originals split up to opposite ends of the cold. marble room where the coffins were kept. "It's Niklaus."

"Greta!" they heard Klaus call. "Luv, where are you?"

Klaus walked into the room, unsuspecting what was to befall him. Then, he saw Greta's body.

"No! Greta!" Klaus said falling to the floor to check her pulse.

"She's dead, Brother," Elijah said casually.

Klaus scrambled backwards, "Elijah!" Finn vamped forward and pinned Klaus' arms behind his back. In his shock at seeing Elijah, Klaus let himself be restrained a moment, while Rebekah stepped forward.

"Helllo, Nik. Up for a family reunion? Your witch is dead, sorry to say, but you won't be alone. Look, even Finn is here to keep you company," Rebekah grinned. She still wore the remnants of the flapper dress from the night when Mikael found them in Chicago. Choosing Stefan over Niklaus had been the last thing she did.

"Sister, how I have missed your razor wit. You know Stefan is back here in Mystic Falls. I am sure he would be so overjoyed to see you,-" Klaus started.

Kol smirked, "Save your lies, Nik. Funny, how I got the dagger for trying to secure the paragon diamond for trying to protect myself from the bloody dagger. Is that not funny, Bex?"

Rebekah sneered, "I am not sure if any of this is funny, Kol. Nik imprisoned us for a century for what? Disobeying his strange rules on how siblings should behave. I do not think that is quite right, do you?"

"I do not. Why does Nik get to punish us for perceived sins? He daggered four of us. Maybe it is our turn to punish him?" Kol offered.

"Punish me? I tried only to save you from yourselves. To help you. To protect you!" Klaus said now struggling to free himself from Finn's hold.

Kol spat, "You are a liar. I was trying to protect myself from you. You wanted to punish me for going against you. Admit it."

Klaus shifted his gaze to Elijah, it was hard to fool him. "Okay. So I thought your deceit merited a bit of punishment. I am sure you learned your lesson, right? No hard feelings. Now, we can move forward...together."

Elijah turned suddenly, "Perhaps we can, Niklaus..."

Klaus exhaled, "I always knew you were the reasonable one in the family, Elijah."

"Allow me to finish...Perhaps we can move forward, after we return the favor of teaching you a lesson. As Kol said, you lied...As Rebekah said, you imprisoned us. Poor Finn, has been in that coffin for 900 years at your whim..You betrayed me. For what? Because you did not trust me. After I have stood by you my entire existence," Elijah articulated.

"Forgive me. I can see you are angry. Let me make it up to you," Klaus begged.

Elijah nodded to Finn to release Klaus, he did.

"I think a punishment is in order. Niklaus, you have long lacked any discipline. Right before you had my precious Celeste murdered, she suggested that a hundred witches could not subdue you, only me. I thought even then, you could have benefited from a spanking of some sort," Elijah informed him rolling up his sleeves.

"A spanking? Surely you jest! I am not a child, Elijah. Please do not insult me," Klaus snipped.

"Insult you? To give you the discipline you need? I think not. Take it like a man, this time, Brother. Why not bend over that table and peel down your breeches?" Elijah said stepping forward.

Klaus chuckled nervously, "I shall not waste your time with such foolishness. We can talk of this." Klaus flashed his blue green eyes at Kol, and then Rebekah. They looked eager to see him thrashed for the misdeeds he committed against him. Finn's eye's blazed with intensity and fire and Klaus felt fear.

"We can speak as you feel my palm on the seat of your pants. Bend over," Elijah said firmly.

Klaus backed away, "Elijah, do not threaten me so. You are starting to frighten me." Klaus began to tear up, not so much for the threat of the spanking, as the realization that all his siblings were furious with him.

Finn moved as if to capture him again and Klaus vamped away, he flew for his very life out side his mansion into the driveway. As Klaus felt hope that he was truly free, he felt a heavy shape descend upon him in the cool night air. It was Finn.

Elijah, Kol, and Rebekah followed closely behind.

Kol smirked, "Running from a licking. I thought more of you, Brother. Remind me, Elijah. Isn't that going to cost him extras?"

Elijah smiled slightly, "You are going to march yourself up to your bedroom and I will spank you there. If not, you can get the warm up, right out here. I don't care who is around to see it." It was evening, but there was staff milling about the mansion estate.

Rebekah quipped, "Misbehave in public and get punished in turn. Nik, you've been such a naughty boy."

Klaus now cried, "I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt any of you. Please, don't spank me. Just dagger me in return."

Finn grunted and pulled Niklaus up to a standing position and started walking him back to the mansion.

"You know no bloody daggers will do that trick! Is that another lie, Nik. Elijah, he has dug himself quite a hole. Need some help?" Kol suggested.

Elijah nodded, "I think you all have a right to give Niklaus a taste of his own discipline..."

Finn began to drag Klaus back to the house by his bicep roughly.

Klaus wept and begged, "No, Elijah, if I am to be spanked and shamed, than can you not do it alone? Pleas

Elijah ignored this and led the other siblings up to Klaus grand bedroom. Rebekah went to bathe and Kol went to find more blood.

Elijah directed Finn to dump Klaus in his bedroom. Klaus was crying softly and pleading with Elijah to reconsider.

"Elijah, please. I am sorry, okay. I should not have daggered you. But to beat me? It is cruel," Klaus whined with tears glistening in his eyes.

Elijah grabbed Klaus' arm and dragged him over his raised thigh. Elijah had put his left foot on a small bench near the cold fireplace in the Klaus' bedroom. Klaus tried to raise himself up, Elijah's anger gave him a righteous strength. He held Klaus in place with his left arm and began to apply his palm to the seat of Niklaus' tight trousers swiftly. Smack! Smack! Smack! Klaus fidgeted and started to howl immediately. Finn seemed unfazed by this display and began to make a fire silently.

Kol rushed back in the room and yelled, "Starting without us?"

Elijah reassured him, "This is just a prelude. Niklaus is going to learn to behave if he has to sit on pillows all week. Isn't that right" Elijah asked. Smack! Smack! Smack! Kol nodded and left again.

Klaus yelped as Elijah's palm began to crack his sit spots firmly and without stopping. After Klaus' behind was scotched and his face was streaked with tears, Elijah stopped and kicked the bench over towards the corner with his feet. He pushed Klaus down to sit on his spanked bottom in the corner. Finn looked over unconcerned.

Klaus wailed as he was pressed into the hard wood. Elijah found a lighter and lit Finn's fire for him. He showed him how to use the lighter.

Rebekah came in wearing modern garb, "I assume this is Greta's. Nice, I think." She wore leather pants with high boots and a green silk blouse.

"Lovely," Elijah said sincerely. He noticed that Rebekah was carrying blood bags and gave one to them all. Elijah took it with thanks.

Kol trotted back in, "I feel better now. There is a lot here that is peculiar to me. But I guess we should learn quickly. My turn next, Elijah?"

Elijah indicated he could do as he wished.

Kol sat on the chair by the now roaring fire and called Klaus over.

"Niklaus, it is my turn to punish you," Kol said gleefully. Klaus refused to turn, but Elijah and Finn both dragged the handsome hybrid over to their younger brother.

"No, Kol. I am sorry. Don't do this," Klaus urged. "Not in front of everyone."

Kol smirked, "Nik, I think you ought to take off those trousers. I intend to give you a jolly good hiding." Klaus shucked down his trousers, but let up his black briefs.

Klaus wiped tears away and let Kol put Klaus over put knees. "Odd drawers," Kol remarked.

Kol began to spank Klaus hard over his briefs unless Klaus was kicking and hollering to be let up.

"That's the problem with healing so fast. You can get spanked for a damn long time. Now, let's time about the lesson you are learning...," Kol began.

"I had no right to dagger you. Any of us. I was selfish. I didn't want you to leave. Forgive me," Klaus sobbed. Kol felt a sense of sorry for his brother despite his own pain.

"Nik, you dolt. *whack* We would never *whack* have left you *whack*, ever!" Kol revealed. He spanked Klaus's behind vigorously. He then pulled down his pants and continued as Klaus blubbered louder.

Rebekah frowned, "Maybe he had had enough for tonight."

Elijah agreed, "Kol, I think he is starting to feel some remorse. Maybe Finn and Rebekah can complete their punishments tomorrow?" Klaus' kicking was hampered by his trousers twisted at his knees, but a part of Klaus wanted nothing more than have his family stop and embrace him.

Klaus wailed, "Please, no more tonight. My arse is on fire! Please, I can't take it." Klaus tried to turn over and escape, but Kol was ready for his every move.

Kol has been spanking Klaus hard for over five minutes and could tell that Klaus was spent. Kol stopped and shook out his sore hand. Klaus' behind was a bright solid red surface.

Elijah helped Klaus up, "Let's get him to the bed. We can finished the spankings later."

Klaus whimpered and tried to wrestle his hands out of Elijah's hold, but Elijah firmly held his hands as he led him to the bed.

Elijah saw Rebekah led out Finn and Kol drew closer.

"I got no real pleasure out of that, NIk, but you deserved it," Kol admitted.

Elijah put Klaus in the bed face down. "You stay with him, Kol. I am going to go get them settled."

Kol didn't know what to say so he laid down in an exhausted stupor by Klaus.

Klaus turned, "That hurt."

Kol nodded, "What also hurts is losing a hundred years, but I imagine you realize that."

Klaus sniffed, "I do now."

Kol grimaced, "Rest, until tomorrow. You are going to need it."
