I am just a gypsy girl playing with her parchment moon and wondering what to write...

As an avid reader and long time student in English, I can't quite explain the effect Suzanne Collins's The Hunger Games series has had on me. I've been weirdly traumatized by how it ends, like more so than any of Shakespeare's tragedies and the whole lot of Russian literature, and my writings here are an attempt to come to terms with it. I think what happened to Gale's character is one of the greatest injustices in literary history, and I'm convinced the author got it wrong and that someone needs to get it right. These stories are my attempts. I guess this is now true for Avatar the Last Airbender, and quite possibly Game of Thrones sometime soon.

I live for and love reviews, so please tell me what you think. I welcome any thoughts, comments, and criticisms about my writing's quality as well as the themes I explore in my texts. In addition to my unabated love for Gale, I'm also very concerned with the way women (especially young women), strength, power, and their sexuality is represented in the media, and I'm trying to do things here that I don't often see done and that I think should be done. So I'm especially interested in people's thoughts on that, so I'd love for anyone to message me about that or include a thought or two in their review.

When I'm not obsessively throwing myself down fanfic rabbit holes, my other hobbies include reading poetry and smashing the patriarchy.
