(Vincent's Pov)
I was laying on the bed for a bit before I felt a hand on my shoulder shaking me and I opened my eyes to see Clementine looking at me. I sit up a bit and see that she was wearing a purple bikini and I stare at her a bit before I shook my head and I got up.
"Oh uh, heh I can change now?" I asked and she nods as I get up and I grabbed a pair of shorts and I go into the bathroom to change. I kept my shirt on as I walked out and we both head to the pool and I see the others lounging around a bit. There's still some light out and I go take a seat by the edge of the pool and put my feet in the water and Clementine takes a seat next to me.
"So how was your day today Clementine?" Louis asked as he swam up to her and she looked at him.
"It was fun, and yours?" she talked to him and I looked to Brody as she came and sat next to me.
"How are you, Vincent?" She asked.
"I'm doing good, just getting tired is all but nothing bad." I tell her truthfully.
"Oh, you could have told us, we could have hung out at another time." She tells me and I nod.
"I know but I haven't seen you guys in months so it's fine." I tell her and she nods then I was splashed with some water to my face and I look to see Tenn. as him and Marlon looked away and I smirked as I got up and took my shirt off. I dived into the water and got under Tenn. as I picked him up and threw him as best as I could into the water. He got back up and he was laughing as Marlon came up to me and put me in a headlock and we just started to water wrestle for a good few minutes. Next think I know Mitch and Willy, both joined us as we splashed around a bit and I moved to the side just as Marlon grabbed a water gun and started to spray us all. I hear some laughing and I looked to see Clementine looking at us and covering her mouth trying to hold back a laugh and I came up to her.
"Want to join in?" I asked.
"No, you go have fun though." She says and I shake my head a bit getting some water on her and she laughed a bit at this.
"Come on it'll be fun." Louis says and I look o him then back to her.
"I'm fine trust me." She says and I look at her a bit and I get up on the side and sit next to her as the others go bac to their game and I looked at her more.
"Don't like the water?" I asked quietly.
"It's not that I don't like it… I just never got to learn how to swim." She says and I look at her.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't." I tried to say but she stopped me.
"It's fine you didn't know… it's just the last few times I tried to swim didn't end well, so I just didn't want to try again." She says and I nod.
"I understand… but if you ever want to try when you're comfortable then I could teach you how if you want that is, I'm not rushing you or anything." I rant on and I hear her laugh a bit.
"I'd like that actually." She says and I smile and nod at this. Tenn. and Willy both came back over to us and I got back I the pool as we played a bit longer until the lights on the pool came on and Tenn. and Willy started to get a bit tired. We let them head back in and I along with Clem followed them to their room and waited for them to go to bed.
"Are you ever going to go back with the band?" Tenn. asked and I looked at him.
"I'll think on it, that's all I can say buddy." I tell him.
"Could we go fishing again?" He asked.
"Yea, can we?" Willy asked and I looked to both of them then to Clementine and she looked at me.
"I know a great spot for fishing, if you want." She says and I nod.
"Yea sure, uh we can go." I tell them.
"Can Clementine come too?" Tenn. asked.
"Uh sure." I say and look at her.
"After practice I need to go tomorrow." She tells me and I nod at this.
"Ok we can go in the afternoon… maybe we can bring AJ?" I asked and she nods.
"Yea I can ask dad." She says and the two finally fell asleep and Clementine and I headed to the pool with the others. We sat on the side of the pool and I watched the others as they played some music and Marlon brought out his cooler and Louis pulled out a beer and I looked to them.
"It's fine we aren't going to get drunk." He says and I nod as he handed me a beer and I grabbed it but just looked at it and I see Clementine decline one. Brody and Ruby had some juice so I went and grabbed one for Clementine and handed her a drink and she smiles and nods to me and I nod back as we just sat and talked.
"Vincent here once told us he wanted to stagedive." Louis says as I take a drink of my beer.
"Oh, really now?" Clem asked and I nodded.
"Though I was scared cause I thought I would get dropped." I say and she smiled at me.
"It would have been fun though, to see it happen at least." Marlon says and I nod as I take another drink of my beer and I looked at my watch a bit.
"Got a bed time now?" Mitch asked and I looked to him.
"No just wanted to know the time." I say an Louis says something to Clementine.
"We should do a gig here don't you think? Just a small one." Louis says.
"I wouldn't do that, most of the people here are older and just came here to relax as best as they can, but that's just what I've seen though." Clem explained.
"Well, we can change their minds." Louis says.
"I doubt it."
"So, you got a boy you like at school or something?" Louis asked out of the blue and I drank my beer.
"No, no boy at school, or girl." She says.
"Oh, so you're Bi?" He asked and she nods.
"Yea, I swing both ways." She says making a motion as if she was swinging a bat and I chuckled a bit at this.
"Interesting to know, so what is your type of guy?" He asked.
"Well smart for one thing." She says and I listen in more as the others talk with each other.
"I'm smart." Louis says.
"Strong." Clementine says.
"I got the muscles to prove it." Louis says and I see him flexing a bit.
"Kind as well." She tells him.
"Sounds like I could be your ideal partner." Louis says and I look at him and I wanted to glare but I couldn't.
"Sorry, I wouldn't want to date you, no offence but I have someone on my mind already." Clementine says and I looked back to the pool and drank the rest of my beer.
"Oh, do tell." Louis says.
"No, I don't know how they feel about me, plus I don't want to talk about relationships right now." Clem says and I get up and grabbed another beer I go and take a seat next to Clementine again and I looked at her a bit as I drank some more. It wasn't long till I've had more drinks than anyone here and it was a bit hard for me to walk a bit but I was still ok or at least in my mind I was. Everyone else had left and it was just Clementine and I.
"You ok Vincent?" I hear and look to Clem and nod.
"Yea.. I'm good Clem, I'm fine." I say and wave my hand a bit and take another drink.
"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded at this.
"I think you shouldn't have anymore drinks." She tells me.
"Nah I'ms good, I ok." I slur my words a bit and I get up again and she grabbed my arm a bit and stood up herself and I look at her.
"I think you should stop… please?" She asked and I look at her.
"Ok, no mores after this." I say and lift up my last bottle.
"Ok, that's your last drink." She says and I nod as I finish it up and I throw the bottle away. I then walked over to Clementine and she looked up to me as I tilted to the side a bit.
"So… you don't like anyone at your school?" I asked her out of random.
"No, no one at my school… why?" She asked and we took a seat again and I looked at her.
"Well… I don't uh… want to… interrupt." I say and she looked at me.
"Interrupt?" She asked and I looked to the water then to her.
"You know…. Dates and stuff?" I asked and she looked at the pool.
"Oh, you think you'd be butting into my date life?" She asked and I nodded.
"Don't worry, you aren't, I would tell you if you were." She tells me.
"But still… don't want them to get jealous." I tell her as I move a bit to sit up more.
"Well, if my partner doesn't like me being around you, then we would have a problem with that." She tells me and I nod at this as I looked to the pool lights and I rubbed my neck.
"Why don't we head to bed, you got to take Willy and Tenn fishing tomorrow." She says and I nod as I get up and so does, she, we both head to my room and I opened the door and let Clementine walk in first. We were in the room and I go and look for some dry clothes and I hear the bathroom door close so I decided to take my clothes off in the middle of the room. I hear the door open again and then a gasp and I chuckled as the door closed with a bit of a slam and I laughed more.
"I'm so sorry." I hear Clementine say through the door and I chuckled more.
"It's... it's fine Clem I should have said something." I tell her as I got my boxers on and I go to the door and I opened it to see her covering her eyes. I took her hands gently as I tilted backwards again and moved her hands away from her eyes and she looked at me.
"I'm sorry." She says.
"Nah I'm sorry… I didn't say." I tell her and she nods a bit at this and I chuckled.
"Bed?" I asked and she nods as I go and lay in the bed and so does, she and I think a bit.
"I should get a house here." I say out loud.
"Oh? You want to live here?" She asked.
"I mean… it's nice here… I wouldn't mind living here." I tell her and I feel her move a bit and I look at her just as she looked at me.
"What else made you want to live here?" She asked and I look at the ceiling.
"It's just nice here." I say and I close my eyes a bit. A few hours had passed as my phone's alarm went off and I groan a bit as I get up from the bed and I hear a knock on the door. I get up and I open the door to see Brody at the door.
"Oh, morning Brody." I say and rub my eyes a bit and I see her looking in the room and I look down at myself and turn red as I step out and close the door.
"Hey it's not what it looks like." I tell her.
"I can't say anything on it, you do what you need to do." She says.
"No, I… I'm not sleeping with Clementine or anything, I was just drunk and didn't put on anything else I… I swear I'm not sleeping with her." I explained as best as I could and Brody looked to me.
"Ok, I believe you Vincent… so Tenn. and Willy said they were going fishing today?" She asked and I nod at this.
"I mean they asked, so I couldn't say no to them." I tell her.
"Alright, well the others and I need to go into town anyway for a few hours, Louis set up a bit of a meet and greet kind of thing." She says and I nod.
"Yea um… yea ok." I say and she nods.
"Alright, I'll bring the boys over in a bit once you're changed that is." She tells me and I nod as she heads to her room and I go back into mine and I see Clementine getting up.
"Morning." I say.
"Morning… you, ok? She asked and I nodded at this.
"Yea, I'm good, and you?" I asked.
"I'm good too, thanks." She says and I nod.
"So, Brody and the others are going to a meet and greet so they're going to bring the boys here… we an get AJ and then take you to practice then to the lake?" I asked and she nods at this.
"Yea sounds good to me." She says and I nod and we get into some fresh clothing, we then opened the door to see the boys along with Brody coming over to us and I smiled as I rubbed their heads.
"Alright we're going to head out." She tells us and I nod as she and the others leave the parking lot and I look at Tenn. and Willy.
"Ok so we have to go and get Clementine's little brother and take her to practice after that we can head out and get some fishing gear and head to the lake." I explained.
"Alright." Both the boys say and I nod as we all head into my car and I drive to Clementine's home. When in the driveway Clementine gets out the car and both the boys and I also step out the vehicle just as her dad walked out the house and I looked to him as he comes up to us.
"Well, hello." He says to the boys.
"Hello sir." Tenn. says and willy nods to Lee and they shake hands.
"Uh we were wondering if we could take AJ to go fishing with us, if that is ok with you?" I asked.
"I don't see why not he might have some fun." Lee says and I nod just as AJ was running out the house.
"VINCENT!" He yelled and runs up to me and gives me a hug as best as he could.
"Well goofball never got this excited to meet my friends." Clementine laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle at this as I rubbed his head a bit.
"AJ, Vincent and these boys would like it if you went fishing with them, won't that be fun?" Lee asked.
"Really?" He asked and looked at me and I nod.
"I'll go get my stuff." He says excited and he runs to the back of the house and Lee laughs a bit at this and looks to me.
"Looks like you made his day." He tells me and I smile and nod. Clementine then went to go and get her gear for practice and I looked at Lee.
"Will you be on a boat or on land?" He asked me.
"I could rent a boat if they would like, but that's up to them, does AJ have a vest?" I asked.
"He does, he goes fishing with Kenny sometimes and he's ridden on Kenny's boat." He says and I nod and AJ comes back to us all ready even with a hat and tackle box of his own. I smiled as I went and opened my trunk and we set his gear in it. He talked to the boys and Clementine comes out ready for practice and we set her stuff in the trunk as well.
"I do have a few rules though." Lee says and I look at him.
"Just be careful when out on the water ok?" He asked and I nod.
"Tenn. and willy know my rules when on the boat, they've gone fishing with me before." I tell him.
"That's good, well you all have fun, call me if you need anything." He tells Clem and she nods.
"I will dad." She says and gives him a hug. We then head into the car and I drive to the school. We all got out so we could watch Clementine practice for a bit and I kept my eyes on her.
"Alright so the game is in a few days, so practice like you would perform, no argument you knew this is how I make you practice when you first signed up. So, let's do this but still have fun you hear?" The coach says and they all agree to this as they begin their practice.
"Clementine is best at batter and pitcher; she has a really good fast ball." AJ explained to us and I nod as we watch Clem on the pitcher's mound getting ready for the pitch.
"You go to a lot of her games?" I asked and he nods.
"Yea, she's amazing when they play a game, I remember when they put her on third base one time and the ball fell to her, she grabbed the ball and was able to make a triple play with that catch, it was so cool too, because those plays are hard to get." He explained and I nod at this. We go back to watching Clementine practicing and it was a good few hours, with breaks of course for water. Once they did their final play the practice ended and I along with the boys come up to clementine as she drank her water.
"Great practice." I tell her.
"Thank you." She says with a smile and I chuckled at this and rubbed my neck.
"We can go fishing now?" AJ asked and I looked to him and nodded.
"Yea, uh, you ready to go?" I asked Clem and she nods as we all head to the car and I put her things in the trunk.
"Ok, we need to get fishing gear for all of us, bait, tackle box for the adults, and then rent a boat." I explained and we all head to a shop that Clem suggested. Once parked the boys run in and I couldn't help but laugh at this.
"I think you've made their day." She says and I nod as we go into the shop.
"Hey Clementine didn't think I'd see you here again." I hear and I turn to see and older man wearing a fisher's hat as he came up to us.
"Hey Kenny, how's Kajaa?" She asked.
"Doing just fine, and how's Lee?" He asked.
"Fine as well… oh Kenny this is my friend Vincent, Vincent this is my family friend or uncle Kenny." She says and I hold my hand out to him but he just looked at me a bit before he shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you sir." I tell him and he nods.
"I saw AJ running around here, you all going camping or something?" He asked.
"Oh no, we're going fishing, we just need to get some gear." She explained and I nod as I looked to him.
"I'm surprised, you never went fishing before." He says.
"Well, I wanted to try something new, besides AJ loves it." She tells him.
"Alright then, I'll let you two get your things and meet you up front." He says and I nod as we both go and look for some supplies. I was able to find a fishing pole for myself and I helped Clementine find hers. The boys had found the ones they wanted and we then go and get a tackle box along with some hooks, extra fishing wires, even a net and two coolers, one for food and one for fish if we wanted to keep any that is, we got other items needed for the box and I looked around a bit more.
"I think we have everything just need to get the bait and fishing permit." I say more so for myself and we head to the front and I get a few containers of worms and I paid for all the supplies.
"Alright you all have fun." Kenny says.
"Oh, wait Kenny, could we barrow one of your boats at the dock for today?" Clementine asked and I looked to her.
"Sure, just be sure to fill it back up when you finish up ok?" He says as he hands Clementine his keys and she nods.
"Thank you, Kenny." She says and we walk out the store. I put all the gear in the trunk and I sigh as I can't get mine and Clem's poles in so I had to set them in the back seat with the boys. Once we all got in Clementine told me where to go exactly and it took us a good thirty minutes to get to the docks. We all got out and Clementine along with the boys grabbed their supplies and I grabbed mine along with the tackle box and bait. We walked to the dock and AJ ran up to what I suppose is where Kenny's boat sat and he just got in it. We all got settled in the boat after I made the boys and Clementine wear a vest and Clementine handed me the keys and I started it up and drove out to the open waters.
"Over there is a good spot." AJ points to a part of the lake near a small island area.
"Alright I trust you." I tell him and I settle the bot in that spot. We began getting our lines ready and I put the hook along with the weights on everyone's poles. I then grabbed the worms and AJ hooked his own worm to his hook, and I showed the other two how to hook their worms as well. Once that was done, they were able to start fishing and I looked to Clementine as I helped her with her pole. I tied the weight on it and I looked at her as she watched me.
"Tie it like this, makes it more secure in my opinion, or at least that's what my grandpa showed me." I explained and she nods at this. She was able to get the worm on the hook and we were all able to get our lines ready. We casted out our lines and just sat and waited.
"Remember when your grandpa would tell us about when he went fishing?" Tenn. asked and I looked to him and I nod.
"Yea, he said he once caught the loch ness monster." I chuckled as I remember my grandpa telling me this story.
"He did?" AJ asked and I looked to him then to Clem as she shrugged.
"I uh… well no turned out it was just a snake but it was cool, or at least he told me that." I explain.
"Oh… so he lied?" AJ asked.
"I mean I guess but my grandpa was just trying to make me happy, I was about your age when he told me that story." I try to explain.
"You were sad?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yea, uh I think it was when I was being picked on at school, one of the bullies had given me a scar right here." I say and point to my cheek showing the mark.
"How did that happen?" Tenn. asked. I had never told him how I got the scar.
"I uh… I was in middle school and a bunch of kids didn't like how I was dressed… or the fact that I lived in a trailer park too, they just didn't like that I wasn't like them… so they beat me up and one kid had a knife and was able to nick me on the face… tried to get my eye or that's what they were saying… next think I know I'm being kicked in the gut and my face in gravel before one of the teachers caught them." I tell them.
"Did they get in trouble?" AJ asked and I looked to him then back to the waters.
"No… they said I instigated it and they threatened me so I was too scared to tell the truth…. But I was moved to a different school so it all worked out." I tell them and I look at Clementine as she looked to me.
"Doesn't matter anyway, they got to see me on TV living my life so I got a bit of revenge in my own way." I say and smile to them.
"But that was bad." AJ says and I nod.
"They should have gotten in trouble." Willy says and I nod.
"Yea but it's fine it's in the past, I don't let it bother me anymore." I tell them.
"That's still not right." Tenn. says and I sighed.
"I'm good though, don't worry about it." I tell them and then Tenn. gets something on his line and he reels it in. Sadly, the fish was able to get off the hook as we pulled it up and it splashed us as I was about to get the net and everyone laughs including me.
"Well seems like that one got a free meal." I joked and I watched as Tenn. put a worm on his hook and he casts the line out and I looked at my line for a bit.
"You know if we can get some fish, Kenny would make his fried fish, it's really good." Clementine suggested and I nod.
"Yea sure if that's ok with him." I say and she nods.
"Kenny taught me how to make his fried fish when we went camping all together." AJ says and I smiled at this.
"Vincent makes really good deer jerky." Willy says.
"Oh, so you hunt too?" Clem asked and I nod.
"Oh yea, Willy and Tenn. here have gone hunting with me, Willy is great with a Bow and Arrow, I work with a rifle, and Tenn. here is great when it comes to traps for smaller animals." I explained.
"Interesting, maybe we should go camping at some point." Clem suggests and I nod at this. We sat out in the water for a few hours, moving to other parts of the lake after we catch a few in one area, in total we caught nine fish in total and they were pretty decent sizes.
"So, what do you guys want to do after we drop the fish off?" Clem asked as I drove the boat.
"Can we go swimming?" AJ asked.
"Uh sure we can find a pool to go to." I think for a bit.
"We can swim here though." AJ says as he points to the docks and a few teens are jumping off the dock into the water.
"I uh, don't know I don't think that would be smart to do." I say.
"Come on Vincent, you know it would be fun." Willy says and I look to them.
"We don't have any swim suits." I try to change the topic.
"We've swam in our boxers before." Tenn. says and I sighed.
"Alright, alright lets just fill up Kenny's boat then drop off the fish and we can come over here." I say.
"YES!" The three boys cheer and I hear Clementine laugh at this. Once we were done, we set the gear up and we headed to Kenny's shop to drop off the fish and Clem explained to him what would happen after she hands them the keys to his boat. We got things ready and I decided to get them some shorts so they would have dry clothes to get back into and I looked to Clementine as she looked at a bathing suite and I come up to her.
"You want to try and swim today?" I asked and she thinks a bit and nods. I buy the swimsuits for all of us and we head out back to the lake. The boys ran to the bathroom to change and I took my shirt off in the car as Clementine went to change as well. Once we were all changed the boys went a jumped off the docks and I went and sat with Clem at the edge of the dock. We sat for a bit with our feet in the water and I watched the boys as they splashed each other.
"You, ok?" I asked.
"Yea… I'm fine." She says and I look at her as she gripped the edge of the dock and I look at her and I get into the water and look at her.
"You want to try, or no?" I asked as she looked to me then to the waters and she shakes her head no.
"Sorry." She apologizes and I look at her.
"You have nothing to be sorry about Clem, if you don't want to swim that's ok, take your time." I tell her and she nods as I stay in the water close to her. She would look at me and I look at her and smiled at her.
"So weather is nice?" I asked trying to break the silence and she laughed a bit and I smiled at her.
"Seems good, warm but a little cold." She says and I look at her.
"This weather is nice though, don't have to wear long sleeved shirts and its not to hot to take your clothes off." I say and we both laughed at this. We talked for a bit and she would look at the water a bit but I didn't ask her anything, I would let her do it on her own time, there is no rush in this.
"I think… I would like to try and swim." She says and I nod as I get up on the deck and we head to the shallow end where the boys had decided to go to and she stepped into the water and I held her hand as we walked more and more into the water. When she stopped, I stopped so she could take her time, when she started to walk, I would walk with her and we finally got to waist high water before she stopped walking completely.
"You know we could just stand here a bit; we don't have to start swimming right this instant." I explained to her and she nods as she takes a few breaths and looked around a bit.
"Hey you good?" I asked.
"Yea just… getting use to it is all." She says and I nod as I watched the boys as they dived back into the waters from the deck. I stood there with clementine as she just walked a bit in the water and she held my arm tightly. I can't blame her though, but she hasn't moved to leave the water yet.
"Ok I think I'm good." She says and I was about to help her leave the water but she stopped me and I look at her.
"I meant I would like to learn." She says and I chuckled and rubbed my neck.
"Of course, sorry I thought." She stopped me from ranting.
"It's fine." She says and I nod as I helped her.
"Ok first thing to learn is to float, so I'll hold you up and you just breath a bit." I try to explain and she nods as I lift her up slowly and have her on her back and she looked to me and I smiled at her as she did as told. She looks at me and nods a bit as I held her up in the water.
"Ok… I think I got this." She says and I nod as I slowly let her go and she floated and I crossed my arms as she looked to me and dropped a bit so I caught her.
"Well, at least you got the floating down." We then began working on other ways for her to swim and by an hour she was swimming like a pro.
"You sure you didn't now how to swim cause you sure are a natural." I say as I watch her.
"I just had a good teacher." She says as she comes up to me and I smiled.
"CLEM HELP!" We hear and I look up to see AJ being picked up by a bunch of teens and being thrown off the dock almost hitting a buoy so I quickly go over to them as they threw Tenn. and Willy in the water as well.
"THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I yelled at the older kids and they laughed.
"Or what?" The boy says smugly and I grab him by his neck and get him close to the edge of the dock.
"You want your ass kicked?" I threatened him and he shoved me back a bit and I glare at him.
"They're just a bunch of babies they need to learn." The boy says and his friends laughed at this so I looked at him and shoved him off the dock and he got close to one of the buoy's but he didn't hit it.
"The fuck is wrong with you dude?" A girl says and I glare at her and her friends.
"You think throwing a kid near one was any fucking better? So back the fuck off." I say and Clem comes up to us.
"Clem?" One of the girls asked.
"Shel?" Clem asked and the boys came and stood next to us and the boy got out the waters and went to his group of friends as he glared at me.
"Woah hold on you know each other?" One of the boys asked.
"Yea, this is my little sister's friend." Shel says and I glare at her and I looked to the boys to see if they were ok.
"The hell were you thinking letting them throw my brother over the dock, and Vincent's brothers too." Clem says pissed off.
"Wait, Vincent, from the band 'The Walking Dead'?" A girl asked and as I made sure none of the boys were hurt, I got up and glared at them.
"That doesn't fucking matter, the hell went through your mind to think it was ok to almost hurt these boys?" I asked pissed.
"We were just having fun that's all you should know what fun looks like." The boy says and I glare at him.
"Look, we didn't mean to hurt them if they did, and we are sorry." Shel says and I glare at her and I felt AJ hold my shorts a bit as he also glared at the older teens.
"Com on let's get out of here." I say as I moved passed the teens not caring if I shoved them off the dock as I got the boys to the car. I hear Clem arguing with Shel and I turned to watch and make sure nothing happened, when Clementine was done, she came over to me and looked over AJ and the other two.
"Are you all ok? Nothing hurts right?" She asked worried and I looked to them.
"No, just the slap o the water but nothing too bad." Willy says and I nod.
"What happened exactly?" I asked.
"We were jumping off the dock and then they come over and start picking on us, Willy shoved one of them and then the guy that threw me in, grabbed me and that's when I called for help." AJ explained and the two boys nodded.
"Ok… well as long as you all are ok that's good… come one let's get changed and we can head out for dinner." I tell them and we all agree to this and get changed after drying off. When done we all got in the car and I drove to the one burger place and we order our food. Clem and I handed the food back to the boys and we all just sat back and listened to any song on the radio and I drank my milkshake.
"So besides what happened at the dock how was yall's day?" I asked everyone.
"It was fun, can we do this again?" AJ asked and the boys nod in agreement.
"Yea sure we can do this again." I say.
"I don't see why not; it was pretty eventful." Clem agrees.
"Clem, can we ask dad if Willy and Tenn. could spend the night one day?" AJ asked.
"We can ask… how about this, Vincent you know about my fathers Barbeque, why don't you and the boys come over that day, my dad would be fine with that." Clem suggested and I look at them.
"Sure, if your dad is ok with that." To which Clementine nodded and the boys cheered in the back and I chuckled at this. Once we all finished our food, I took AJ home and Clementine helped him in before she got back to the car I then drove to the Motel to see Louis and the others back and I get out to see them also come out their rooms.
"Hey Vincent, we were thinking about going out for dinner." Louis says to me.
"Vincent took us out to dinner already, it was really good." Willy says and I rubbed his head and looked to the others.
"Oh uh, well then we could just order something." Lois says.
"How were they?" Ruby asked as she came up to us.
"They had fun, were good too, we caught some fish and we're going to pick them up tomorrow from Clementine's uncle." I explained.
"Oh wow, were they huge?" Mitch asked willy.
"Hell, yea they were, oh and we got to go swimming too, we jumped off the docks and it was fun until…" Willy says and I look at him then the others looked at me.
"We had an issue with some older kids, don't worry Clementine tore them a new one." I explained.
"After Vincent threw one of them in the water." Tenn. says and I sighed as Brody and Ruby looked to me and I rubbed my neck at this.
"Well, they almost hurt AJ, Willy and Tenn. they called them babies and thought it was funny to almost hurt them." I explained and I leaned on my car a bit.
"Alright I can look past this for now." Brody says and I nod at this and I look at Sophie who looked over Tenn. once we had everything situated, they took the boys to bed and I headed to my room and Clementine followed me as well. I go and grab my clothes and I head to the bathroom to change and once I get out, she goes in and changes as well. I go to my bed and lay on it. I hear the door open and I look at Clementine as she comes over to the bed and I think a bot.
"You have fun today?" I ask her.
"Yea, it was fun, plus I got to swim… we could do it again." She tells me and I nod as I look to the ceiling and thought for a bit.
"I'm thinking about getting a home here." I tell her and looked to her.
"Really?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yea why not? It's a nice town, I don't deal with much here in all honesty, I don't see why not." I explained.
"I mean yea but what about traveling like you said?" She asked and I think.
"I can do that at some other point I traveled a lot anyway, I'll go see my family and then get a job here somewhere… it's just a thought though." I tell her and looked to her.
"It's up to you in all honesty, you do what will make you happy." She says and I nod.
"I know." I think for a bit and I sighed as I closed my eyes. I was finally able to get some sleep.
