Chapter 1: New Life
As we walk away from the ruins we see a man with long white hair and in golden armor call out to us
"Hey you ok?" He asks in worry as he moves towards us, he then sees Meliodas holding Elizabeth and he notices Meliodas' tired and injured state
"Hey, your injured let me hold th-" He was saying reaching out towards Elizabeth only for his to smack the hand away and point the broken blade at him
"Don't touch her, don't lay a finger on her!" Meliodas orders angrily
"Look you are hurt and you need some rest" He says worriedly
"He watched the child's mother die in front of him. Let him hold her" I tell him
The man looks at me before looking back at Meliodas, he sighs and nods.
"Very well" The man reluctantly accepts. We then see his horse and someone behind him watching us from a distance.
"At least hop on the horse" The man insists
"No," Meliodas says with no room for argument.
Deciding it best to continue to walk, we follow the man and his buddy for the next three days, traveling through towns and having Elizabeth fed, and during this time Meliodas begins to become less wary of me, despite me being incredibly young he is still cautious.
Currently I'm sitting next to Meliodas who is feeding Elizabeth from a baby bottle and the man who we learned named Zaratras came back from shopping.
"Hey you two" He greets with a smile
"Hey Zaratras" I greet, while Meliodas mutters a hello back to him.
"We are nearly reached the kingdom of Liones" Zaratras informs us
"Why do you want us there anyway?" I ask suspiciously, after Lily and James i dont really trust adults unless they get something out of it, after all i was neglected because i wasn't famous or important so why wont other adults do the same?
"Well you two are the only survivors of Danafor so i'm certain the king will want you to explain what happened" Zaratras tells us
"That's the thing i don't remember" I said semi truthful with him.
I have no idea what happened to Danafor but I believe I know how I got there
"What about you Meliodas?" Zaratras asks me
"Yeah, yeah I know" He mumbles, not moving his gaze as he continues to feed Elizabeth who is drinking her milk happily.
"She seems really comfortable around you" I say surprised
Meliodas nods and a small smile forms across his face as he looks at the young girl.
Later that day I decided to run around and get a bit more fitter so that i can be the better version of me instead of the skinny and neglected version of me, afterwards i begin to feel my heart's pumping i sigh happily but soon freeze in shock
Wait, Hearts I thought in fear as i felt my chest, and felt multiple different heartbeats in my chest
What the hell is going on? I understood that I would be in a different world but I didn't think my body would change and I would end up having multiple hearts in the process. I thought in a panic that's when I noticed more differences between my old body and the new one.
Wait my arms have a bit more muscle and it is tougher as well, what the hell is going on? I thought confused.
Heading back i see Meliodas and Zaratras just sitting down talking while Meliodas holds Elizabeth who is sleeping
"So that's what happened" Zaratras says before he begins to think
"Hey Hadrian" Meliodas greets, who seems to have become less tense then usual
"Hey Meliodas" I greet.
"We were just talking about how Danafor fell" Zaratras informed Hadrian
"I see, I'm sorry that you have to deal with this Meliodas. I'm certain it isn't easy for you
The next morning we continued our journey to Liones where we would meet the king, but on the way we were attacked by Bandits, when one came charging at me I instinctively punched him, but instead of merely annoying the adult it actually made him fall back due to the force.
I was so surprised by the force of my punch that I didn't even realize that both Meliodas and Zaratras took out the rest of the bandits
"Looks like your pretty strong Harry" Meliodas says cheekily
"I guess so" I mumble in shock.
What the hell is happening? I wondered.
Afterwards we continued our walk to Liones. Upon reaching Liones we were stunned by the beauty that it holds, the keep and the town. All of it has this type of beauty that made our mouths drop, when seeing our faces Zaratras chuckled.
"Yeah,the Kingdom of Liones does have a unique type of beauty" He says cheekily.
"Yeah it does" I reply awed by its appearance.
As we continue to walk I notice that they are soldiers practicing magic
So magic is a common thing in this world and not like the other from what it seems like? That's good to know, it will make my life a lot easier when it comes to learning my magic and how to use it I thought as we make our way to the keep.
As we enter the keep we are let in by the soldiers that were standing guard, though they were giving me, Meliodas and Elizabeth odd looks but we thought it best to ignore it.
As we walk through the keep I notice that it has a rich but confident style of beauty instead of the rich and arrogant
That's good to know, these people might not be arrogant and it will make talking to them a lot easier I thought
We finally reach the throne room where we see a man with white hair and a beard sitting in the throne
He kind of looks like Gandalf but without the stick and magic I thought internally laughing.
"Hello, you must be the survivors of Danafor" He says to us with a soft and caring tone
"Yeah we are, and you are?" Meliodas asks holding Elizabeth tightly
"I am King Bartra Liones, it is nice to meet you" Bartra greets
"Im Hadrian Potter" I greet with a small smile
He seems nice I thought
"I'm Meliodas and this is Elizabeth" Meliodas says.
"It is nice to meet you, Hadrian and Meliodas and welcome to the Kingdom of Liones" Bartra says happily before that it soon disappears and is replaced by sadness.
"I am sorry for Danafor, but I must ask if you can inform me on what happened" Bartra says hopeful
Afterwards Meliodas informed the King of how Danafor was attacked and that it got destroyed completely.
"That is not good news. Something that can destroy an entire kingdom is dangerous" Bartra mumbled worriedly.
Later on King Bartra had us stay in a tavern and while he spent time figuring out a way to help us live in the Kingdom.
"So what will you do?" I ask Meliodas
"Stay here and see what happens, You?" Meliodas asks curiously.
"I was kind of hoping, if you wouldn't mind me staying with you, if it doesn't bother you?" I ask nervously
"Yeah, it's nice to have your company" Meliodas says with a small smile
Immediately my face brightens and a giant smile forms across my face
"Thank you so much" I thanked happily
"And if you want I can teach you things, and if you want i can also teach you how to fight" Meliodas offers
"Yes I would love to" I say excitedly.
The next morning Meliodas started to teach me swordplay
"So which arm is your dominant?" Meliodas asks me, I raise my right arm
"Ok, i saw how hard you hit with your right hand so I would recommend you do left like i do, but it is truly up to you" Meliodas tells me
"No I will do the left hand, I know it will be tricky but I'll do it" I say enthusiastically which brings a smile to Meliodas' face. Then realisation hit me.
"Oh yeah I forgot to ask, where is Elizabeth ?" I ask, confused.
"Oh yeah, one of the maids is taking care of her at my request" Meliodas says
He was willing to have someone else take care of Elizabeth to train me I thought happily
"Thank you for doing this Meliodas" I say to him grateful for him taking his time to help me.
"No problem now let's get you into shape" Meliodas says cheekily.
Meliodas then began to teach me how to swing a sword and the techniques of it. Once getting the basics down we had practice sparring to see what I needed to work on.
Afterwards Meliodas helped improve my stances and my swings, and eventually I was doing decently well, and it seems that I'm stronger, faster and more durable than I ever was, and I won't have to worry about going to the Dursleys ever again.
After the last sparring match with Meliodas I sat in the chair and released a tired sigh
"You are surprisingly strong" Meliodas says with a smile
"Thanks but I know I can do better" I say.
All I need is time and i will be able to get stronger I thought happily
"Then keep practicing either by yourself or with someone else" Meliodas suggests.
After some extra tips from Meliodas we both were just sitting down in the training area relaxing, well we were until Zaratras entered.
"Hey you two" Zaratras greets
"Hey" we both reply simultaneously.
Zaratras chuckled at our synchronization.
"How's Elizabeth?" Meliodas asks interested
"She doing good but the King has had a vision which caused me to come see you two" Zaratras explains
"A vision?" I ask curious
"Yes King Bartra has a magical ability that lets him see parts of the future and Elizabeth was in it as his third and adopted daughter" Zaratras says
"Ok, I'll allow it but only under the condition that he hires me" Meliodas says firmly
Zaratras laughs and before I could even see it, Meliodas pins Zaratras to the ground and has a sword to the side of his face, the energy that seems to radiate off of Meliodas was scary and awesome.
"O-ok" Zaratras accepts nervously, Meliodas smiles and I couldn't help but ruin the moment.
"I hope I can be like that" I couldn't help but say which causes both of them to chuckle.
Once Meliodas pulls Zaratras back up, a soldier comes bursting into the room
"Sir Zaratras! The king has requested you come right away along with the two boys" He says quickly before leaving.
We all look at each other showing our confusion before heading towards the throne Room
Upon reaching the throne room we see King bartra sitting on his throne rubbing his temples
"Is something the matter my King?" Zaratras asks, kneeling.
"I have had another vision, a group of 8 sinners will defend the Kingdom of Liones and all of Britannia and they will be known as the Eight Deadly Sins, they will also be the ones to take on the Ten Commandments" Bartra says calmly
"What? Eight Sins will become the guardian of Liones!? Such a ridiculous thing can't happen!" Zaratras demands in shock
"But it must, and they will also be known as the Eight Deadly Sins" Bartra states calmly.
"How will you know where to find all 8 of them?" I ask curious
"Thanks to the visions we know where to find them, and thankfully 3 are already here" A voice behind me says, i turn to see a black haired woman in a dress walk into the throne room
"3?" Meliodas asks curious
"Yep. Me, you and this little guy" She says as she rubs my head
"Oh!" I exclaim pushing her hand off me
"What? He's only… How old are you?" Meliodas pauses before he asks me
"4" I reply annoyed with a slight pout at the womans action
"See he's 4!" Meliodas exclaims pointing to me
"And yet he has a power level of 795, and he's also a demon," Merlin says. Meliodas looked at me shocked while I looked confused.
"A demon?" I ask confused but also curious
"I assume you don't actually know, but you have 7 hearts like Meliodas here" Merlin says pointing to Meliodas
"You're a demon too?" I ask surprised
"Yes but how come you don't know that you're a demon?" He asked. I just shrug in response.
"So we have the Boar sin of gluttony which is me, The Dragon sin of wrath which is Meliodas, who will also be known as the captain of the Deadly Sins and last but not least the Phoenix Sin of Imitation, which is you" Merlin says to me
"So what, we go look for the other 5?" I ask tilting my head confused
"Yep but while we do that we help train you" Merlin says, Meliodas then looks at Merlin with a questioning look.
"Meliodas will help you with sword fighting and your demonic abilities that you have while I teach you magic" Merlin explains to me and informs Meliodas.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" I ask worried
"Yeah, are you fine with it Meliodas?" Merlin asks
"Yeah I'm just surprised you're a demon" Meliodas says trying to process the knowledge that he isn't the only Demon running around.
"So the Eight Deadly Sins will be formed to fight against the Ten Commandments" Merlin says enthusiastically
"The King mentioned them but who are the Ten Commandments?" I ask confused
"They are the the Demon King's most elite enforcers" Meliodas explains
"Oh great" I say sarcastically
I have to fight the Demon King's most elite enforcers. Fantastic
"So we have a few days to prepare and then we will leave to get our fourth sin" Merlin says happily.
Omake
"He is such a cutey" Merlin says as she squishes Hadrian cheeks
"Stop it" Hadrian complained
"Nope" Merlin says with a pop
"Oh you poor boy" Meliodas comments cheekily
"Maybe i should do the same to you" Merlin says look at Meliodas
"Oh sorry, you happy boy" Meliodas says quickly
"Good" Merlin says before she continues to assault Hadrian's poor face.
"Help me ya bitch!" Hadrian demanded.
Omake 2
"Hey old man!" Hadrian yelled walking to Zaratras
"Who are you calling an old man!?" Zaratras exclaimed shocked
"You, you old man" Hadrian answers
"It was rhetorical Harry" Zaratras sighed
"Don't care" Hadrian stated
Zaratras sighed once more and shook his head before focusing on Hadrian
"Is there a reason you are here?" Zaratras asks
"Nope" Hadrian answers calmly
"What!? What do you mean nope!?" Zaratras demands
"Just that. Nope" Hadrian answers cheekily
"Tell me" Zaratras demanded
"No" Hadrian replies
"Yes" Zaratras stated
"No" Hadrian answers
"Yes" Zaratras answers
"...No" Hadrian states
