Chapter 5: Being a Sin
It's been 2 months after the holidays and the Sins are back from a mission and are taking the week off, Hadrian with nothing to do decides to wander around and see what's going on.
As he walks around he hears a child grunting and sounds of wooden swords colliding into one another, searching for location of the sounds, Hadrian finds Meliodas deflecting a young child's strikes, the kid looks like he's 7 years old and he seems to be tiring out with a noticeable feature that the kid has was his pink hair.
"Hey Meliodas, what's going on?" Hadrian calls out
"Hey Harry, how are you doing?" Meliodas replies as he stops deflecting the child's strikes
"Not bad, so who is he?" Hadrian asks pointing to the pink haired child
"Oh him, that's Gilthunder, he is trying to get stronger to protect his charge" Meliodas says
"Meliodas what are you saying?" Gilthunder says embarrassed
"What? What's wrong? All you're doing is protecting the princess?" Meliodas asks confused
"Yeah but only my father, The King, and the Eight Deadly Sins are supposed to know" Gilthunder complains
"Gil, you don't know who he is, do you?" Meliodas says trying his best not to laugh
"Who?" Gilthunder asks
Hadrian chuckles and lifts up his right sleeve showing the Phoenix tattoo.
Gilthunder gaps at the sight.
"You're the Phoenix Sin?" Gilthunder says in shock
"Yep" Hadrian says cheerfully
"But you look younger than me" Gilthunder says surprised
"Because he is Gil. Hadrian or Harry for short is 2 years younger than you" Meliodas says
"But why is he part of the Eight Deadly Sins, he's younger than me?" Gilthunder asks curious
"Because he is really strong, while you are at a power level of 79, Harry here is at a power level of 1798 and that's without his sacred treasure and magical abilities" Meliodas says
"What!?" Gilthunder yells out in shock
"Yep, There is a reason Harry is a member of the Eight Deadly Sins, we have reason to believe he can be one of the strongest members when he gets older, in fact in some cases Harry is stronger than some of the members, like Ban, despite his power level Ban can't use his magical ability Snatch on him due to its effect and instead of weakening Harry it only makes him stronger" Meliodas explains
"How so?" Gilthunder asks curiously
"That is something you should figure out. Learn from your opponent and improve" Hadrian says cutting Meliodas off
"Hey that's a good idea, but I'm going to do it to annoy him" Meliodas says cheekily
"No, tell me!" Gilthunder demands chasing after the two who have the same goofy expression (Immagine Meliodas with his goofy face but with black hair for Hadrian).
Time flew and it was Hadrian's sixth birthday
"Happy Birthday Harry!" Everyone cheers
"Thanks everyone, guess one of us has to have the birthday since no one else wants to celebrate theirs" Hadrian says cheekily, causing a few chuckles from the Sins.
Once blowing out the candles everyone started drinking like a normal day.
Despite it being Hadrian's birthday no one really buys anything for him unless they have something that isn't easy to find and collect since everyone gets paid for their work, including the now 6 year old.
"You know sooner or later he will reach 7 years, then 10 and eventually he'll be 20 years old. Man that's going to be weird" Ban slurs. Despite Ban rambling everyone agrees that it would be weird seeing Hadrian get older, even Gowther agrees with the comment.
After a few hours of partying everyone is drunk and sadly Hadrian has to take them back to their room, Merlin is the only one still awake and she is sipping her wine in thought.
After a few minutes Hadrian comes back to see Merlin in thought.
"A gold for your thoughts?" Hadrian asks cheekily using the same question that she used on him when he was younger
"Haha very funny, I was just thinking about whether or not I should start teaching you magic" Merlin says thinking aloud
"Do I have to pay you?" Hadrian asks
"It depends, maybe I want to be paid with something other than money" Merlin says seductively
"And that would be?" Hadrian asks cheekily. Hadrian then gets pulled by Merlin and she shoves her tongue into his mouth and making out with him.
Despite his young age Hadrian reciprocates moving his tongue around hers and holding onto her tightly.
Separating after the desperation for air became too much they see a line of saliva connected from their tongues, which then falls down and onto the floor.
"How was that?" Merlin asks with a massive blush on her face
"Amazing, it felt really good" Hadrian stated
"You know most kids your age would find it disgusting" Merlin says cheekily
"Since when am I like most kids?" Hadrian asks cheekily
"That is true, and I can teach you if we do more of this" Merlin says looking Hadrian in the eye
"If you teach me and we do this it will be an interesting time" Hadrian commented, which resulted in Merlin's chuckles.
For the next 2 months Hadrian would be taught by Merlin and later have a serious make out session, and when he isn't being taught or making out with Merlin he is training with Meliodas and Ban or with Meliodas helping Gilthunder who has grown a bit during the training sessions with Meliodas. But thanks to Merlin's lessons Hadrian became an even more powerful member and also a more adaptable one as well, with more magic and a base power level of 2003, Hadrian is catching up to everyone.
The Sins know of Merlin teaching Hadrian and are thanking her profusely due to him being more helpful despite him already being so, but they want what is best for the six year old, but they do not know of the make outs sessions between the two and both Phoenix and Boar Sin would like to keep it that way.
Hadrian Pov
Currently the Sins have been called by Meliodas
"Hello Sins, Bartra has told me of a group of creatures attacking nearby towns, but we don't know what it is. So I want you ready by tomorrow" Meliodas ordered.
The next morning we all begin to head out to handle the creatures attacking towns. While we walk in silence besides our armour plates moving and our foots hitting the ground Ban begins to get irritated
"Uh, how long till we get there?" Ban asks annoyed
"we will get there when we get there" Meliodas replied
"But I don't want to walk forever" Ban complains
"Geez and you would think Ban is the child of the group" King whispers to Diane who giggles.
"So what do we know about the attacks?" I ask Meliodas
"Besides that the people have been absolutely butchered, I don't know" Meliodas informs
"Great" I say sarcastically
"You are getting quiet moody these days" Meliodas says cheekily
"I'm a 6 year old fighting monsters with some of the strongest individuals available of course I'm going to be moody from time to time" I state annoyed
"You are merely a child" Escanor says walking in his armour with the sun shining from above.
"And this child is stronger than most Holy knights" I retort
"He does have a point Escanor, he may be a child but he has saved you once" Ban says
"I have saved him as well" Escanor says with pride
"When?" Everyone asks him
"Oh it's well uhm…" Escanor stutters trying to think of a moment where I needed him to save me
"He has never needed saving, that damn power of his is monstrous, you remember that mage that tried to take all of our power?" Ban asks
"Yeah the mage's face when he was still standing but stronger was hilarious" Diane says
"I'm surprised you noticed the look on the mages face considering half of you fell on your face" I say cheekily
"Someone needs to smack him eventually" Ban complains
"Yeah good luck with that" King grumbles
"Do you remember the time that one Holy knight who was incredibly cocky and was a pain in the ass for us? The one who threatened to give Harry a spanking?" Diane asks
"Oh right. Harry made him run away crying in his underwear" Ban says nervously
"Yeah, he might not be the strongest in the group but there are times where he is stronger than us" Diane reminds
"Oh god" Ban mumbles, remembering the fight between me and him where he forgot about my power and ended up using snatch at max making me far more powerful which led me to just slapping him out of the area which was just too funny for the Sins who saw it.
"That face when you remembered who you were fighting" King says laughing
"You looked like a kid who got caught with his hand in a cookie jar" I say laughing.
Everyone laughs at that image of a childish Ban with his hand in the cookie jar being caught by me.
After a few hours of walking and talking we eventually reach the town closest to the recently attacked one. We are greeted by a group of people and one specific person stands out, thinking it was the leader Meliodas walks up to the man.
"Hello, are you the man taking care of this village?" Meliodas asks with his armour and helmet still on
"Yes, you must be the Eight Deadly Sins" The man said in realization
"Yes we are, we're here to help protect this place from the recent monster attack and this was the closest to the most recent destroyed village" Meliodas explains
"Oh thank you, thank you for coming" The man says crying in happiness.
We spend the next few hours preparing for the inevitable attack, either relaxing or double checking our gear.
"Hey Harry, do you ever think about being just a normal kid?" King asks me while I look over my armour that I removed temporarily
"No, why?" I ask looking over it for any damages and just cleaning it up.
"I will admit that it is fun doing these things but don't you want to spend time with kids you age?" King asks
"The parents I had, ignored and neglected me for my twin who was incredibly famous which led to them deciding it was best to forget about me and focus their efforts on the more 'valuable' child, the days that were for the both of us was only for my twin and the people who came didn't care about me and only wanted to see my twin. In fact my godfather couldn't have given less of a shit about me, my god mother on the other hand was in a coma so my life was a bloody mess before I met Meliodas" I tell him, I then move away from my armour which remains standing and sit next to him
"How old were you when you left?" King asks worried
"I was 4 at the time, I left on my birthday which was the same day I met Meliodas" I reply
"Do you miss them, Your parents?" King asks
"No. I don't, you guys are basically the family I ever wanted" I tell him
"But if you had the chance to go back in time and live your life with your parents without them ignoring you in favor of your twin, would you take it?" King asks curiously. I sit there in thought.
Could I give this up for the life I wanted when I was younger, could I give up this family and adventure and the faces of the people I help in favor of the people who neglected me because my twin was more valuable? I wondered.
"If you're asking about whether or not I would take it, then I have my answer for you, No. The Eight Deadly Sins are my family and I don't want that to change" I say with determination
But before King could say anything Meliodas bursts into the room.
"Their attacking now, get your butts geared up and lets go" He order before running out
"Let's get to work," King says, getting up and putting on his helmet as he flies out of the house.
Getting up I ran to my armour, and upon touching it, it appeared on me ready for combat
Let's do this, I thought, running out.
General Pov
When Hadrian got out he saw a group of deformed wolves running towards the village, some with 5 legs, some with missing jaws and some with multiple teeth underneath their jaws. Whatever they are, they are horrific, running towards the other Sins, Hadrian draws Insidious with an excited smile on his face.
"This is going to be interesting" Ban says
"It will be, but the sun is going to down, so Escanor do what you can and if it takes too long than back off" Meliodas ordered
"Yes Captain" Escanor replied
Raising his sword up in his left hand Hadrian activates the sword
"Sacred Treasure Release" Hadrian yells having his power level of 2139 jump to 5489. With his armour glowing brighter signaling his magical powers activation everyone charges into fight the deformed wolves.
"Snatch" Ban yells stealing the strength of multiple wolves increasing his own power
"Spirit Spear Chastiefol fifth configuration: Increase" King says turning his pillow into multiple mini blades which then shot at the wolves.
"Cruel Sun" Escanor says throwing a giant fireball at the wolves which explode on impact
"Exterminate Ray" Merlin says shooting a large beam of magic disintegrating multiple wolves
"Sacred Treasure: Physical Clone" Meliodas says as multiple other versions of him appear and start fighting the wolves.
While everyone fights a large roar causing everyone stop and turn to see the largest wolf they have ever seen
"He must be the alpha" Meliodas yells
"Creation Rising Spear" Diane yells, launching a giant spike to come out of the ground and hit the giant wolf causing it to be lifted upwards.
"Sacred Treasure Release: Energy Barrage" Hadrian yells using all the power Insidious absorbed and releasing it all simultaneously at the wolf in multiple shots of energy killing it in the process.
"Well not bad today guys" Meliodas says happily
"Really?" Hadrian asks pointing to the damages that were caused
"Meh its fine" Ban says calmly
"Yeah Bartra can handle that" Diane says calmly
"Yeah our goal was to stop the attacks" King says
"And protect the Village!" Hadrian exclaims
"It was an extra and besides the people are fine" Meliodas says calmly
"Ow my toe!" some random villager yelled out from a distance
"Oh no, he hurt his toe" Ban says with a horrified expression
"Alright everyone let's head home" Meliodas says cheerfully as we walk away from the damaged village.
The Sins returned home and got a scolding from father Zaratras
"You destroyed the village!" Zaratras yells at us
"A part of it" Ban adds
"Doesn't matter, you were supposed to stop and protect the Village from the attacks" Zaratras exclaims
"Told ya" Hadrian says only to get elbowed by Ban
"Well why didn't you fix the problem?" Ban asks
"Merlin is the one who focuses on magic. I may do magic as well as sword fighting but I don't know any magic to fix an entire village that you idiots destroyed" Hadrian informed Ban.
After a long lecture and a thank you from Zaratras we enjoyed our relaxing time until something else happened.
Back at the bar everyone is celebrating and enjoying their time
"Lets have some beer Harry" Ban says handing Hadrian a mug of bear
"Ban no!" Diane exclaims snatching the mug away from Hadrian
"Don't be a party pooper, give him the beer" Ban demands
"No, he will not have the uhm, the uhm. Thingy" Ban slurs floating around.
Hadrian sighs and holds up three fingers which soon turn to two fingers and then one finger and once dropping the last finger everyone heard a thud.
"Again King!? Why do you keep floating into walls!?" Ban exclaims drunk
"Leave me alone, it is my thing" King demands, swaying as he floats through the air.
Omake
"So you are saying you were taught by Merlin but in exchange you guys did sexual acts?" Meliodas asks
"Yes" Hadrian says
"So it was prostitution" Meliodas says
"No it was not" Hadrian complains
"Yes it was, you were taught so you and Merlin did sexual acts as compensation for her" Meliodas say which causes Hadrian to freeze.
"I was a prostitute at the age of 6!" Hadrian exclaims, horrified.
Omake 2
King Bartra was walking through the castle hallway towards his daughter's room
Opening the door to his eldest's room Bartra sees that Margaret wasn't in her room.
Odd Bartra thought to himself before he went to his second eldest daughter's room, Veronica.
Opening the door Bartra's eyes widened when seeing Hadrian, the Phoenix Sin of Imitation covered in pink clothes while both his daughters were putting make-up on him.
Upon seeing Bartra Hadrian's eyes narrow dangerously
"Don't fucking judge me" Hadrian states
