Next morning Hermione made his breakfast a steak to perfection the book said to let it come to room temperature first and then just a couple of seconds on each side, 4 eggs sunnyside up and she went ahead and put four whole eggs in a large mug for him and a large glass of water. She carried it down, released all of the guards and wards and set the tray down on the table and turned to see Remus curled up on a small scrap of blanket naked, asleep, shivering and covered scrapes, a bunch of small cuts, two large gashes, bruises and a broken wrist. Mending the gashes and wrist immediately, she applied healing salve to the rest of the cuts and scrapes. She conjured a big warm blanket to cover him up properly as she did she noticed all rest of his scars. A tear fell, she turned to leave and received a small hoarse thank you from under the blanket. She left without another word she didn't know what to say but 'Damn you Greyback! He was just a kid.' He did come up a 4 hours later with a clean plate as if it had been licked clean.

'Where are the eggs?'

'I broke those over the steak, shell and all, the extra calcium, is good for me.' he was still hoarse.

'Merlin thank you, made this morning so much easier, Tonks just comes down heals the worst of my injuries and then waits for me to wake up to let me eat. With your help, I could eat and then go back to sleep, I do feel so much better than I normally do after a change.'

'Well do you needed to start staying over here for the 3 days before and the 2 days after from now on so I can feed you up right?' she joked. 'but I wouldn't want to show Tonks up now would I?'

'She probably not notice me gone anyways…. I think she is regretting her decisions, Hermione.' he said with a whisper.

'No, she was so happy with marrying you and the pregnancy, the stress of the war just got to her, I'm sure.' looking at Remus hoping she was right. 'Well do you need anything else to eat? I can cook another steak up or I should say run the steak by the flames. Or just a regular breakfast if you want?' Grabbing a fry pan 'I'm getting ready to cook something for me.'

'Are you sure it's no problem?' drinking down a glass of water.

'I think we have already had this discussion have we not?' she gave her most Molly'est stare.

'Yes ma'am bacon and eggs if you happen to making them if not whatever you are making for yourself will do.' he said sheepishly, remembering the evening before. After eating he went up to see Teddy and went to bed to get some more sleep. He woke after lunch to Hermione and Teddy in the library reading, or Hermione reading and Teddy asleep.

'Well you look better, Winky must have heard you moving about and she brought you a plate of sandwiches and pumpkin juice. Eat up!' She pointed to a tray.

'Well having been well fed before and after really helps with the changes. I'm normally out for a few days, before feeling able to do things, I'm still a little tired but I can function. So your care has been excellent and would recommend to all!' with a big smile on his face, as he stuffed another sandwich in his mouth.

'Well good to know if your care should fall to my hands in the future.' She said with a smile, good care can make a difference. 'And you can come back here anytime, I will help you get through the 'furry little problem' anytime.' she said with her Molly stare.

'Yes ma'am, if I am in need of proper care to come here.' He saluted her as he turned to leave, 'I'm going to go check on Tonks to see if she has woken yet.'

A few hours later Remus fell out of the floo. Hermione helped him to a chair. 'What's wrong Remus did Tonks… die?'

'I would have been better off if she had.' he roared. 'I got there and there was a man sitting at her bedside and she was wake and talking.' he huffed. 'Like she had been awake for hours maybe even days.'

'Who was the man there?' she whispered.

'Her new boyfriend!' he yelled.

'Oh my, I'm so sorry Remus.' She got up to hug him, she conjured a glass of water for him. He continued the story. She had woke up Sunday just after I left. She told the nurse to just wait as she was still tired, and Monday she pretended she was still out, but come to find out this man, Curt, has been visiting her every day before and after work. He went to school with her and lost touch after his family moved to France. But with all of the after war news, her name was listed as a survivor so he came and found here at St Mungos. So he was there when she woke up. And she asked him to come back Monday afternoon knowing I was and will be otherwise busy for a few days, I surprised her by showing up this afternoon, they had supposedly talked all night about life these past few years. He said it was sweet a coworker had come to check on her. A coworker! She failed to mention me or Teddy. So I just acknowledged the position I had been given, and that I was just on my way over to witness a divorce and child custody signing and told them to have a good day and left. I did sign and file all the papers.

'Hermione why did I think this would work?' he cried in to her shirt.

'Because you wanted to believe and you will find the right girl for you one day I promise.' hoping one day he would see her as that girl. She had always liked him and deep down didn't see Tonks as being right for him but she was still a kid in his eyes at the time.

'I don't see that happening anytime soon as I now have sole custody of a baby and who in their crazy life would want to take on a werewolf and a baby?' he groaned.

'Me' she whispered. 'Well now you can stay here permanently. And Winky and I can help.'

'Are you sure? Harry won't mind?'

'I won't mind what?' Harry asked as he and Ron came though the floo. He got the short version Tonks was a twat and had moved on.

'Sure that's fine with me. The stupid twat, she will regret her decision one day.' Harry said. 'Hey did you say Curt? Ron isn't the name of the new auror from France the just transferred in?' looking at Ron.

'Um yea I think so.' Ron shrugged 'Is he the one who questioned you about the deathly hallows?' getting a nod from Harry. 'He was a prat! Not believing in them saying that it was an old wives tale' as they grabbed butter beers and went out to the garden.

'Hey Remus?' wanting to get the subject changed. 'I was wondering if you would be up to tutoring as you were the best DADA teacher?' she asked.

'Um what? me tutor?' Remus sputtered.

'Well Harry and Ron are think about going straight into auror training this year, as we all were given passes on our 7th year tests. But I want to do them I just can't see skipping them. I was going to see if I could home school the last year and I would need a tutor to help me get my NEWTs. Would you consider it? Please.' she asked. 'I was going to ask the new potions master or Professor Snape if he returns, if I could go in once a week for classes as he would consider tutoring beneath him. And I think most of the other teachers would allow me to come in one day a week to do the test or even send them here if you would proctor them.' looking hopeful.

'Let me think about it. ok?'

'Oh thank you Remus, Oh it would be Professor if you do it.' Laughing, as she placed a rare steak in front of him. It was devoured in minutes.

He gave him something to think about, Hermione would be easy to teach and give him something to do, and he could stay home with Teddy. Well that might make Winky unhappy to lose a job she loved. She adored Teddy. Yea he decided to do it but give Mione a few days to stew over it.
