Chapter 13: Fight in Vaizel
Walking around Vaizel Hadrian is surprised at the damage that the Holy Knights caused
"And Zaratras said that the Eight Deadly Sins were bad" Hadrian says, shaking his head chuckling.
Where are the Holy Knights? Hadrian thought confused
Hadrian then sees Ban and Meliodas hit each other from a distance
Damn it! Hadrian thought charging towards Ban and Meliodas
"Hey Captain, everyone is out" King says and he freezes when seeing both Ban and Meliodas down
a barrage of fireballs then head straight towards King
"Damn it!" King says before the fireballs explode in front of King
the smoke then clears revealing King surrounded by small knives
"Just kidding" King says cheekily
a woman then appears destroying the knives and was about to strike the finishing blow on King. The woman's eyes widen upon seeing someone appear in front of her.
"Pica boo" Hadrian says in front of the woman before karate chopping her head sending her straight to the ground cracking it in the process.
"Oh thanks Hadrian, that was close" King says slightly nervous
"Its fine, get Meliodas and Ban out of here" Hadrian orders
"Got it" King nods and gets the two out of danger
"That is all you got Phoenix Sin?" The lady with red lipstick taunts with a chuckle
"Your eyes" Hadrian says shocked
"Like it, it is something used to help defeat the Sins" The lady taunts
"Jericho it is best you don't underestimate him" Guila warns
"Guila, been a while. Come back for an ass kicking?" Hadrian asks smirking
"We have grown more powerful since the last time we saw you" Guila informs Hadrian
"I can tell, but the question is. How did she get black eyes. There is only one way I know and she's not born it" Hadrian states and Guila's face shows shock
"You drank it didn't you? You drank Demon blood?" Hadrian asks angrily
"So what if we did? We are stronger than you can ever hope to be!" Jericho yells charging at Hadrian.
Jericho then slashes her sword at Hadrian only for it to be stopped by Hadrian's finger
"You are messing with things that you can not possibly understand. What is your goal huh? Bring the Demons back?" Hadrian asks with a slight chuckle
"H-How did you know?" Jericho asks shocked which makes Hadrian's jokey mood darken
"Don't tell me you're actually stupid enough to think you stand a chance against the Demons!?" Hadrian asks angrily
"We are, the Holy Knights have become weaker so when the Demon's return Holy Knights can strive to improve" Guila answers calmly
"You really are stupid" Hadrian chuckles
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Jericho demands angrily
"It means that if you think you can handle the Demons then you are idiots" Hadrian laughed, just then Hadrian stops laughing and Hadrian glares at the Holy Knights "Where's Meliodas?" Hadrian demands
"It seems the Goddess Amber worked" Guila says calmly
"Goddess Amber? You actually think that can hold anything that is stronger than a mere Red Demon!?" Hadrian demanded
"What? They aren't anything stronger than those" Guila protests
"Haha! You truly are idiots messing with beings of so much power that its funny" Hadrian laughs
"We can surpass the Demons and you wont stop us!" Guila exclaims angrily
"No you can't" Hadrian says and just then a mark appears over Hadrian's eye and his eyes blacken before darkness seeps out of his body. Shocked expressions formed on both Jericho's and Guila's face and they begin to tremble in fear
"W-Why cant I stop shacking" Jericho says fearfully
"Do you understand now? The power you have is incredibly weak compared to a high class Demon" Hadrian says as he walks towards the two Holy Knights
"Y-Your a Demon?" Guila asks fearful
"Yes, but not by choice. The Eight Deadly Sins were formed for a very specific reason by King Liones himself and what you are planning is the exact opposite of what the Sins were formed for" Hadrian says looking at the two Holy Knights.
An explosion of darkness then grabs Hadrian's attention
"Looks like Meliodas went into Berserk mode to get out, were lucky" Hadrian says much to the shock of the two Holy Knights
"Lucky? How are we lucky!?" Jericho demands
"If Meliodas had his full strength we would all be dead due to the effect of releasing all of the power he has without control" Hadrian states
"He doesn't have his full strength?" Guila asks surprised
"Fuck no, if he did then he would be a shit ton stronger then me. Trust me when I say this. Assault Mode is far to powerful and he's only in berserk mode" Hadrian says
Soon the three see Meliodas flying after someone with darkness covering his body
"I better take him down, since I'm the strongest here I might as well grab his attention. And don't make me regret letting you live" Hadrian warns before dark wings burst out of his back and he flies after Meliodas
"Impressive it seems you were given the Demon blood at birth to give you this power" A man says as he fights Meliodas
"No, he is a Demon and you should be thankful he doesn't have his full strength" Hadrian interrupts
"Who dares-" The man was saying but freezes in fear when seeing Hadrian with dark wings
"I-Incredible. How can someone have so much power?" The man says shocked
"Being a Demon for one, Meliodas doesn't have his full strength so your not dead already so we should be happy with that" Hadrian says looking at Meliodas who remains standing there looking at the two with emotionless eyes
"He isn't at full strength?" The man says shocked
"Yep, if he did he would have went into Assault Mode and I can only guess that's in the hundred thousand" Hadrian informs the man
"That is not possible" The man protests
"Oh it's very possible" Hadrian says as Meliodas charges at Hadrian
Meliodas then punches Hadrian in the gut only for him to remain unaffected
Hadrian then flicks Meliodas, sending him into the mountain causing it to explode and send a massive shockwave.
"A-A single hit?" The man says shocked
Hadrian's eyes then turn back to normal and the darkness surrounding him disappears
"Ha!" The man yells hitting Hadrian in the back sending him flying forwards
"Grand Master Hendrickson is a strong fellow but I knew that the second you released your demonic state you would be severely weaker, looks like he was right" The man says impressed as he picks up the dragon hilt sword from the ground after Hadrian beat Meliodas.
"If you think your getting away then you have another thing coming" Hadrian growls as he walks towards the man
"Incredible. Even after taking a blow like that you shrug it off like it was nothing" The man says impressed
"What's your name, bastard?" Hadrian asks angrily
"I am Sir Helbram but I am no bastard. After all I am no Demon like you" Helbram states
"Your messing with things like Demon Blood, you should have understood what you would be dealing with if the Demon race where to be released when I transformed" Hadrian states
"Ha! As if the Demons would be as formidable as you" Helbram says ignorantly
"Your right. Their worse and I've got a long way to go" Hadrian replies
Just then the ground begins to shake
Diane Hadrian thought with a smile
A hammer then strikes at Helbram who dodges and the hammer smashes into the ground
"What's this? You're alive? Its Diane the Serpent Sin" Helbram says shocked
Diane then looks at Meliodas and picks him up
"Who did this?" Diane asks angrily
"I did, but he was out of control. But I wouldn't have needed to if this bastard and his group didn't make him go berserk in the first place" Hadrian says gesturing to Helbram
Diane looks at Hadrian before turning to Helbram and raises her Gideon and begins to attack Helbram
"I have yet to retrieve Meliodas and the princess" Helbram says to someone while dodging Diane's Gideon
"You will pay!" Diane roars slamming her Gideon onto the ground
"Mother Earth Catastrophe!" Diane roars
Helbram then panics and goes on top some weird creature with Guila and Jericho
The ground begins to float up and smashes Helbram, Guila and Jericho
"Nice Diane" Hadrian compliments
Diane then turns around and glares at Hadrian angrily
"Why did you hurt the Captain, Hadrian" Diane demands angrily
"Because he was going Berserk and would have killed nearly everyone" Hadrian informs Diane who shakes her head angrily and refuses to look at Hadrian.
Diane, Hadrian and Meliodas meet back up with the others
"Hey guys, I didn't go nuts did I?" Meliodas asks
"You went berserk" Hadrian informed Meliodas
"Oh, are you guys ok?" Meliodas asks worried
"I think everyone is fine, all I did was flick you into the mountain" Hadrian shrugged
"Yeah, I sensed your power and it was scary" Ban shivers
"Yeah well its something I've had for a long time so I might as well accept it" Hadrian shrugged
Diane then puts Meliodas down only to get hit in the face by Ban and sent flying into a rock
"Had to pay you back for before" Ban explains. Meliodas chuckles and nods his head accepting Ban's reason.
"I was so worried" Elizabeth says
"Hello everyone" A emotionless voice says and everyone turns to see a green haired man
"Gowther, good to see you" Hadrian says with a smile
"That's Gowther!?" Everyone exclaims shocked
"Oh yes, I forgot no one would recognize me" Gowther says and his hair then turns pink
"Tadaa" Gowther says with yet again no emotion
"Is that supposed to do something?" Hawk asks confused
"Oh yes, I forgot that no one would know what I look like underneath the suit" Gowther realizes making everyone fall to the ground, anime style.
"Let's celebrate the reunion with Gowther the Goat Sin of Lust" Meliodas says excitedly
"Hello Sir Gowther my name is Elizabeth, i am the third princess, would you please consider joining us on our quest to save the Kingdom of Liones from the Holy Knights?" Elizabeth asks hopeful
"No" Gowther replies
"No!?" Elizabeth, Diane, King and Ban ask shocked
"This isn't the first time we've met" Gowther replies
"Really?" Elizabeth asks shocked
"Yeah, it was when we were still in service to the Kingdom" Gowther explains with his regular emotionless attitude
"Oh so what do you know, so she was the little runt always hanging around the King" Ban says surprised
"Haha, how totally weird that i don't remember that" Diane says surprised
"I wonder if I met Sir Meliodas before" Elizabeth says
"Of course you have" Meliodas says walking towards the group
"Sir Meliodas" Elizabeth says surprised
"So what will it be Gowther? Will you join us?" Meliodas asks curious
"I think I should. It was the King who appointed me to the Eight Deadly Sins so I think it best to obey his daughter's wishes" Gowther replies
"Yeah, that means our Eight Deadly Sin count is up to 6, lets get drunk to celebrate it" Meliodas says with his goody face
"Yeah!" Ban and Hawk exclaim excitedly
"Well we would have done that anyway but I'm in" King agrees
Sitting around the Boar Hat tavern everyone enjoys their time drinking.
"So we have 6 of the Eight Deadly Sins, this is amazing isn't it Elizabeth?" Hawk asks excitedly
"It truly is" Elizabeth agrees
"I hope you brought your A game" Ban says to Meliodas
"Less talking more drinking" Meliodas replies as they begin to drink.
Gowther then hears munching and looks around
"Something feel odd" Gowther says and then notices Hawk
"Hey there Gowther, I am Sir Hawk Captain of the Order of Scraps Disposal, if there's anything you need to know that just ask" Hawk greets
"How does a pig learn to speak?" Gowther asks
"No idea" Hawk replies as he stuffs his face with food
"Why are you eating those scraps?" Gowther asks
"Because it's delicious" Hawk replies
"That is all" Gowther says calmly
"That's it!?" Hawk exclaims shocked
Hadrian relaxes watching everyone party and enjoys himself
"Hadrian!" Meliodas exclaims
"Yo" Hadrian replies
"Why did Merlin knock me out?" Meliodas asks curious
"Huh?" Hadrian replies confused
"When we found Zaratras, you and Merlin were there when I was knocked out. Why?" Meliodas asks
Hadrian just points towards Elizabeth
"What does she have to do with all this?" Meliodas asks confused
"She was knocked out and you were about to kill us all" Hadrian answers surprising Meliodas
"Oh" Meliodas says slightly embarrassed
Just then everyone starts talking about how Gowther was able to say about how Gowther was able to know King by his smell which soon led to Gowther zapping everyone with this weird light thing.
"Diane, you claim to be 29 feet tall while you are actually closer to 30" Gowther says and was soon repeatedly punched into the ground by Diane
"How could you be so cruel, Gowther, a Lady's allowed to have some secrets you know, ok!" Diane says upset
"How can 1 foot mean anything when she's as big as she is?" Meliodas asks Elizabeth confused
"Your a boy you just wouldn't understand" Elizabeth answers with a sigh
"As for you Ban during the battle against the Vampire's in Edinburg you got incredibly drunk" Gowther says
"Yeah that's right, I didn't want to get involved. I said I was sorry" Ban says drinking his Ale
"But you didn't apologize for using Physical Hunt and stealing Diane and King's power. Or laughing at them as they both struggle" Gowther says and like a hose, Ale shoots out of Ban's mouth
"Ah, so that explains why I felt so weak all of a sudden" Diane says angrily
"That was you?" King asks shocked
"Come on, it's a long time ago" Ban was saying before Diane grabbed Ban and squeezed making blood fly out of her hand
"It wasn't my finest moment but I didn't deserve this" Ban says pushing out of Diane's hand
"Haha, you should have known that it might have come back to bite you Ban" Hadrian laughs as he drinks his Ale
"Hadrian. Why did you and Merlin exchange spit often when you were 6?" Gowther asks and immediately Ale comes shooting out of Hadrian's mouth
"Wait what?" Ban asks confused
"Yes, Merlin and Hadrian would touch tongues and touch each other when he was 6" Gowther explains and everyone stares at Hadrian
"What is Gowther talking about?" Diane asks
"I have no idea what he's talking about" Hadrian replied calmly while drinking his Ale while he was internally panicking
"But you and Merlin would touch tongues which started when you were 6 and ended when Zaratras died. How can you not know what I'm talking about?" Gowther asks confused
Shit! Oh I'm fucking dead Hadrian thought fearful
"You don't know, do you?" Meliodas asks rhetorically, looking at Hadrian with his goofy face
"He does, after all Merlin would teach Hadrian magic and in exchange they would touch each other's tongues" Gowther says
"What!? So this entire time while Hadrian was learning magic they would also kiss each other!?" King asks shocked
"Yes, they would also lose some of their clothes for some odd reason" Gowther says rubbing his glasses
"What have you two been doing!?" Diane exclaims
"Yeah man, I didn't know you already bagged Merlin when you were 6" Ban says with a smile.
Ban was then crushed by Diane who was not amused in the slightest.
Omake
"Hey Merlin" Diane greets sweetly with a slight twitch in her smile
"Oh Hey Diane" Merlin greets back before continuing her research and tests
"How have you been?" Diane asks causing Merlin to look at the minimized Giant
"Not bad, is something the matter?" Merlin asks curious
"Oh not much, it's kind of funny though. When Gowther returned there was this incident where he went through our memories, mine was that I was supposedly closer to 30 feet instead of 29 feet in height in my regular form" Diane says causing Merlin to quirk an eyebrow
But she is closer to 30 feet, sometimes I wonder what it is with other women Merlin thought
"Then Ban was about how he snatched both mine and King's energy when we had to fight the Vampires you remember the one I'm talking about" Diane states
"Yeah, the one where we came back to learn that Harry took out the 2nd strongest vampire" Merlin acknowledges
"Yes, and there was Hadrian. What Gowther says was quite a shock to everyone" Diane says making Merlin curious
I wonder what it was that shocked them? Merlin thought
"And what was it?" Merlin ask curious
"Oh not much. Just that you two had a 'unique' relationship" Diane says and Merlin's eyes widen slightly
"Oh, and what is this 'relationship'?" Merlin asks calmly despite internally panicking
I swear to you Gowther if you did what I think he did then I will make sure you remain a bloody doll Merlin thought angrily
"Just that you two 'exchanged spit' in his words" Diane says
"I have no clue what he' talking about" Merlin says calmly
Oh you bastard! Merlin thought, trying not to show her anger at the Goat Sin.
"Really? Because despite how much Harry protested Gowther would end up making him react allowing the more observant Sins aware of this 'relationship'" Diane says
"I think it's best that i-" Merlin was saying before her wall exploded revealing a ginger haired buff man
"Merlin, am I not worthy compared to a young child?" Escanor asks tearfully
"Escanor!? You're not even supposed to be found yet in this timeline!?" Merlin demands confused
"Oh, right" Escanor says before he disappears with a pop
