Chapter 6: Diamonds
At Kame House:
On a very small island with only one house, an old man was watching aerobics videos. The bald, old man wasn't exercising with them as much as admiring the movement of the females that were in the videos so to speak. The old man giggled in perverted glee as the women went through their exercises, many of which involved their legs and the camera panning in on the buttocks. A short little man, who looked an awful lot like a pig, was also taking in the sight of the ladies working out. The little piggie was matching the perverted glee of the old man.
The news however, would interrupt the aerobics program and cut off the joy of both of the watchers. Reaching for the remote, the old man was about to cut off the tv, but the pig stopped him. A news story about a princess from the country of "D" was what was being reported. Reporters were talking about a party she was having and that the reason was to show off their newest and what was said to be their greatest treasure.
"I think Bulma would want to hear this," pointed out the pig.
"Why Oolong, she's probably got enough jewelry," the old man added.
"Umm Roshi, this is Bulma, she loves jewelry too much for that. She's looking for some magic jewel. She thinks it might be some alternative to the Dragonballs," Oolong explained.
"Hmm….something seems familiar. I think my old master told me something about a legendary jewel many years ago. I think it was called a silver crystal or something…" Roshi said as he pondered.
"I think she called it the Legendary Silver Crystal. I need to call her and see if she has seen this story. It might be worth her while," Oolong told Roshi.
The pig grabbed the phone and dialed the number. The phone rang only twice and then a voice greeted them on the line. The two exchanged small talk for a bit before Oolong told her about the story on the news. Bulma squealed so loud that poor Oolong was rubbing his ears. The two agreed that the party was worth investigating and then Bulma mentioned something on sending someone to the party to see if the jewel was indeed the Ginzhouishou. Bulma quickly said her farewell and hung up the phone.
"Rude.." the pig muttered as he put the phone on the hook. The pig and the old man then decided to continue watching the rest of the aerobics show in their own perverted gaze.
Meanwhile in Kyoto, Bulma was on her computer looking up articles about the Endymion site at the North Pole. The article she was reading had the headline that read ' archeologists missing.' Gathering the information from this article, the bluenette knew that finding the crystal was more important than ever. Archeologists disappearing at that site couldn't be a coincidence. Pulling out her phone, she pressed the screen to automatically dial Gohan's number at the news of both the disappearance and the "D" Princess.
"Gohan, have you seen the news about the big party tonight?" Bulma asked. She could hear Gohan on the other line saying something along the lines that he hadn't. Bulma groaned and then explained about the exclusive party and how the princess was to unveil her newest and most valuable jewel at the event as goodwill to Japan.
"I'm going to get you into the event...somehow," Bulma told the young saiyan on the other line.
After she heard the boy respond she told him she would see him later and pressed the screen to end the call. No sooner did she put her phone down however that the door opened. A man in a black tank top and white jogging pants walked in as if he owned the place. Bulma scoffed at the man as she knew exactly who she was about to deal with.
"What sort of trouble are you getting Gohan in now?" the man with the widows peak hairdoo asked the woman.
"Vegeta, if you must know, I'm having him looking for that crystal I told you about," Bulma told her husband with a bit of spite in her voice.
"Let me guess, he's probably going to run around in that idiotic tuxedo getup of his to another false lead," Vegeta spat at his wife.
"And let me guess, no saiyan should wear such a getup to a fight. Listen Vegeta, I have a lot of work to get to so could you please go train in the Gravity Room or something," Bulma groaned.
Vegeta just huffed and left the room, causing Bulma to breathe a sigh of relief. The bluenette loved her husband, but sometimes he could be too much for her. She went back into her work when suddenly Vegeta came back and placed a small envelope near her computer. Bulma gave a glance at Vegeta crossing his arms before opening the paper pouch. What she pulled out was what one could describe as an elaborately decorated piece of somewhat thick paper. The paper was nothing less than an invitation to the Princess of D's party.
Bulma jumped up and gave her husband a huge hug. Vegeta was taken aback from that sudden affectionate gesture as a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. The woman broke her embrace and smiled at her husbands embarrassment. Affectionate touches like a hug seemed to be alien to the saiyan prince. The man then decided to swallow his timidity and huff at his wife before walking away. After the door shut, Bulma let out a giggle. Sometimes she really liked to get under her husband's skin, and that was better to her than have the normal arguments that she would have with him.
Gohan walked into school, doubts creeping in his mind. At Homeroom, his friend Erasa was chatting away about the news story of the princess. Videl however, could care less and begged Erasa to change the topic to something else. Sharpner was doing a double bicep pose, proclaiming he would be the only protection the royal woman would ever need.
The saiyan of the little group started wondering if she was the moon princess. No picture of the guest of honor was shown, but there could be a slim chance that she could be the one that haunted his dreams at night. A chance, though slim, could be that she could get rid of those visions once and for all. Gohan hoped that Bulma could get him into the party so that he could see for himself. Erasa noticed Gohan deep in thought and waved a hand in front of his face. Gohan broke from his thoughts to greet the short haired blonde.
"So Gohan, what do you think about this whole thing with the jewels. I would sure like to have something like those jewels she wears," Erasa said in a hopeful voice.
"Hmm...well I think it would take me a lifetime to afford even one piece of her collection. Not to mention that they are probably family heirlooms. As well as valuable in the commercial sense, those jewels could have sentimental value that trumps any price," Gohan replied.
"Wow Gohan, so thoughtful," teased Erasa as she winked at him.
The saiyan couldn't help but laugh nervously and rub the back of his head. He could never predict when Erasa would turn on her charms a little. Videl on the other hand groaned at the both of them. The black-haired girl was annoyed, but knew that in a way, Gohan was deflecting those charms of Erasa's.
"Oh Gohan, you are such a nerd sometimes," Sharpner groaned at his friend.
"Yeah I know," Gohan laughed in acknowledgement.
Before any more talking could happen, the Algebra teacher came into the classroom and silenced the class. She then went to the marker board and began her lesson. The students went to reading the Algebra books in the chapter that she pointed out. Gohan was solving those problems as usual and that particular class went on as it would any other day.
While a certain saiyan was doing math problems, Usagi was pondering about that police roadblock. The girl tried to take notes for her history class and ponder at the same time, but it was proven difficult for her. It didn't help that she had stayed up until way past her bed time reading manga, and thus could barely keep her eyes open. Usagi then decided to let sleep overtake her and laid her head down.
The history teacher was going over the events that lead to the Tokugawa Shogunate that ruled Japan for about 265 years. Facts about the past though seemed boring to the bun-headed girl as she continued to sleep. A call to answer a question revealed a show of hands. The male educator looked at the hands and couldn't help but notice the sleeping Usagi.
"Miss Tsukino!" shouted the teacher, which forced the sleepy girl awake. The girl snapped out of her sleep and looked around at the source of the noise frantically. What awaited her was a teacher looking rather annoyed at the fact that she was sleeping in his class.
"Usagi Tsukino, this is the third time I've caught you sleeping in my class," he pointed out to a panicked Usagi. Before she could say anything, he told her that she would have detention this afternoon. The girl's shoulders slumped. Usagi couldn't believe that she had to do detention again with another teacher.
'That's the third one. I guess I can't help it,' thought Usagi as she halfway paid attention to the teacher's lecture.
The school day ended and while many students were either on their way home or going to club activities, Ami and Rei were at the Crown Arcade. The bluenette was doing some rather complex math problems with Rei admiring the level of genius on display. The black-haired girl couldn't believe the speed at which she would solve those equations.
Luna walked into the arcade, which got the attention of the two senshi sitting on the front bench. The three went into senshi business and it wasn't long before the conversation was about a certain bun-headed girl.
"I've never been to an arcade before," Rei pointed out.
"I haven't either until I met Usagi. It's fun, you should try it out Rei," Ami said with a smile.
Luna watched the two of them and couldn't help but admire the fact that they were Sailor Senshi now. Thinking about the fact that Ami was a certified genius her thoughts went over to Rei. Her spiritual powers were of notice to the guardian feline.
"Where's Usagi?"Rei asked
"She in detention again," groaned Luna.
"Why don't we play some games until she shows up?" Ami suggested. With nothing better to do and the meeting not being able to begin until all three senshi showed up, the three of them went into the arcade proper and Rei began the Sailor V game.
Gohan went back to the butcher shop and had just changed into his work uniform. Crowds were more dense than usual as the saiyan went into the back area and started helping with the production. The young man was breaking down carcasses at such a rate that there was no need for the giant band saw. One of the employees was breaking down cured porkbelly into bacon, while Krillin and 18 were handling the beef parts that Gohan handed them to turn into the thin pieces that most Japanese love. The boy then broke down the larger parts like ribs, shoulder section and the hind quarters into various cuts of meat.
Though Gohan had talent with the knife, no time was made to admire it as his cuts were going quickly. The ribeye steaks were especially popular with some of the crowd who wanted a thicker steak as opposed to the typical, smaller chunks that most of the housewives would buy. Pork was next on the list and those hanging pigs didn't give him any challenge as he broke them down into chops, grinds for sausage, pork ribs and other cuts of meat.
'Hmm, camping with dad has it's benefits,' Gohan thought as he remembered helping his mother cleaning the fish. Breaking down other animals like deer, elk and other beasts that were hunted once in a while help him with what he was doing now. After around two hours the rush finally subsided and Gohan cleaned his station up.
"Gohan, go upstairs! You and Bulma are going somewhere tonight and I want you to be clean and on your best behavior! Call her after you are cleaned up!" Chi-chi ordered, much to Gohan's surprise.
The saiyan went upstairs and got into the shower. After a long shower, Gohan hopped out and put on some clean clothes. The boy then dialed his phone for Bulma's cell and the more mature woman answered.
"Gohan, put on your Tuxedo Mask costume. I have an invitation to the big party tonight," Bulma said.
"So am I to go in alone?" Gohan asked.
"No silly, you are to be my escort," Bulma replied, which caused Gohan to turn a little pale.
"Umm….why can't Vegeta go," Gohan weakly muttered.
"Because he doesn't really care about the crystal and I don't think he's in the mood to deal with a group of well...self important humans as he puts it," Bulma replied.
"Or more like "Pitiful Weaklings," right", Gohan said with part of it imitating Vegeta's voice.
"Oh that would be Vegeta….anyway get your butt down the steps. The Limo is waiting, my prince," Bulma joked to Gohan.
Gohan just groaned and hung up. Part of him felt that he would never understand the woman who he saw as an aunt. The teen just hoped that it wouldn't end up in an all out battle against Vegeta at the end of the night. Him training assured him that he could handle the angry full blooded saiyan. However, he didn't know if Tokyo could handle the chaos and destruction that such a fight would bring.
Gohan entered the limo as Tuxedo Mask, without the top hat, and took a seat to the left of Bulma. The interior was what the boy with modest means would consider lavish with the seat lining the left side for other guests. Across those empty seats was three small tv screens and a bar full of wine glasses lining the bottom. Cabinets were at the bottom of the wine glass shelf and bottles of wine would be inside the fixtures most likely.
Bulma smiled at her young friend as he admired the luxury interior. She knew that Gohan would appreciate a bit of style, though even if Gohan became rich someday he probably would never go to these lengths for anything. The genius watched as the chauffeur shut the door and most likely went to the driver's area to bring them to the Princess of D's party. Bulma's phone rang however, and she looked at the screen. She saw the name of 'Vegeta', and an icon indicating that this was a video call. One click of the button later and Vegeta's face came on the 6 plus inch screen.
"I want to speak to the boy," the prince of saiyans commanded.
"Look, Gohan is a nice boy Vegeta," Bulma told her husband.
"Damn it woman! I want to speak to Gohan! He needs this message," Vegeta told his wife.
"Tch! Fine!," Bulma decided to relent so that there wouldn't be some crazy argument. The woman thrusted the phone at Gohan. Tuxedo Mask rolled his eyes and took the device from her. The saiyan was then face to face with the prince, though it was through the phone screen.
"Good Kami! You more ridiculous than I thought," Vegeta pointed out.
"Yes Vegeta, I know you don't like the whole Tuxedo Mask costume," Gohan groaned at his fellow saiyan.
"And as disrespectful and clownish as your father! Though I dare say he would never wear such a vile getup," Vegeta pointed out.
"Vegeta, are you going to get to the point or are you going to disparage my costume the whole time,"Gohan replied. Sometimes the prince could even get under Gohan's skin a little.
"Hmm, point well taken. I want you to understand that my woman is to come back without a scratch. I know that you and her are looking for this mythical crystal called the Ginzhouishou. Such adventures don't come without a high amount of risk. Bulma told me about your battles with this so-called 'Dark Kingdom.' I am to assume that those idiots are after this crystal as well. Anyway, Bulma comes home without a scratch, or else this will be you," Vegeta said before extending his hand and blowing up a training bot to illustrate his point.
"Vegeta, I get your point," Gohan replied with no shock whatsoever. It seems that he knew that this was the saiyan prince being himself.
"Hmm….Good then, I'm getting off this damned device. Remember what I said boy!" Vegeta said before he terminated the video call.
Gohan handed her the phone. Bulma groaned as she heard the entire thing, especially the explosion. She took the phone and placed it inside her purse. The limo had already started toward the party, but neither of the two people in the back really gave that much thought as they processed Vegeta's message.
"I guess in a way, this is Vegeta's version of being sweet. At least I know he cares for me," Bulma said as she took the positive out of the interaction.
"Vegeta doesn't seem to be the type for flowers and candy, thats for sure," Gohan pointed out.
"Oh Gohan. You will learn that love takes many forms. Vegeta may not be Mr. Romantic, but he has his own way of trying," Bulma pointed out.
Bulma...I didn't mean.." Gohan replied as he felt a degree of shame.
"Gohan, it's ok. Just don't jump to conclusions so easily ," Bulma said with a slight matter of fact tone. The saiyan nodded, knowing that she wasn't really too mad at him, but he felt that he had better 'watch his mouth' so to speak. The two engaged in small talk to lighten the mood as the vehicle made it's way to the ball.
The lights were on bright as distinguished dignitaries from Japan exited their perspective vehicles. Lightbulbs were clicking all over the place as the guests walked on the red carpet up to the main doors of the Kingdom of D's embassy. Reporters were typing away on their devices, putting down notes on who arrived and how come each guest arrived with a European style masquerade mask.
The car that brought up Gohan and Bulma showed up and the chauffeur opened the door. Bulma stepped out in a blue ballgown that she had on the whole trip to the party and Gohan stepped out as Tuxedo Mask of course. People were talking about the 'Captain of Industry' showing up with a much younger man. Questions arose from 'Was she stepping outside her marriage?' to 'is Tuxedo Mask here to be security for her?' as the two of them made their way into the embassy.
Bulma put on her eye-mask, which was white outlined by black feathers. Leading Gohan to another room, there was a circle of people watching several couples waltzing to classical music. The voice in Gohan's head awakened at the sounds of the ballroom. The saiyan could feel the presence inside his head as he woke.
"Gohan, if you have to dance, allow me to lead," the voice told Gohan.
"Well, well, I haven't heard from you in a while," Gohan pointed out in his head, not outloud of course.
"Since you are such a good fighter I felt that I wasn't needed. Though events like this I thought you could use me," the voice that had the form of a prince pointed out.
"I'll let you know," Gohan assured him. The voice then quietened down for the moment, allowing the saiyan to assess the situation. He saw the Princess of D at the podium, under guard and watching the festivities. Scanning the area with his eyes, Tuxedo Mask looked for any threats while keeping somewhat of an eye on the dancing couples.
Usagi and her two friends entered the embassy with a little difficulty. The only one who got kicked out was Luna and that was because she was a cat. The three looked around for the princess and the crystal. However, Usagi was distracted by the fact that it was a party and ran off ahead, much to the chagrin of Rei and Ami. The two senshi decided to go away from the ballroom doors to the area where the treasure may be located.
The bun headed girl in the pink dress looked around and went to the doors to the ballroom. The girl unwitting passed by a small group of men, one of which was her black headed father Kenji, and the man couldn't help but hope that his daughter grew up to be as pretty as the princess in the pink dress.
Usagi opened up and was amazed at the whole ballroom. Couples were dancing a traditional waltz as the pink dressed princess in disguise made her way through the crowd. Not paying attention, Usagi wound up bumping into one of the guests. The lady apologized and then went on her way. Looking down, Usagi saw that her dress had a noticeable wet spot. The girl panicked as she looked for her handkerchief to discover that it was not on her person. She ran through the crowd as she hunted for one, only to give up and go outside.
Meanwhile, a small cloth that read 'Usagi Tsukino' was found on the ground. Gohan reached down and picked up the haphazardly dropped handkerchief. The saiyan scratched his head and couldn't help but wonder what she was doing here at this party. Bulma however saw what Gohan was doing and happened to see Usagi drop the object by accident.
"Aren't you going to ask that girl for a dance?" Bulma simply asked Tuxedo Mask with a teasing smile.
Gohan couldn't help but blush at the older woman's suggestion. Swallowing a lump in his throat, the hybrid gathered his courage and walked through the crowd to the doors. Taking a deep breath, the saiyan walked outside those doors and walked up to Usagi. The blond girl with the two long pigtails looked up at the saiyan and couldn't help but look eye to eye with him.
"Is that really you, Tuxedo Mask?" the girl asked.
"May I have this dance?" Gohan asked with a confidence that he had found all of the sudden and extended his hand.
Usagi smiled and took the hand of the tuxedo clad hero and the two of them went into the ballroom. The two of them took the center of the dance floor as Gohan put his hand around her waist. The steps for a traditional waltz came into his memory as he led the dance. It seemed as if the saiyan was able to bring back some skills he never knew he had as he danced with her. All of the sudden, Gohan had the young lady twirl around only for her to spin towards him. The saiyan then dipped the young lady, another skill that he saw in the occasional movie. Gohan however, didn't feel like the steps came from a movie, though he had seen such a dance on the video's his mom would watch once in a blue moon. Those dance steps felt strange and yet somewhat familiar as Gohan then went back into a waltz position.
The disguised girl couldn't help but be amazed at what Tuxedo Mask could do. It felt as if she wanted this for so long. However, this wouldn't last as something else caught Gohan's attention. The young saiyan felt that dark aura that could only belong to someone from the Dark Kingdom.
"I'm sorry Miss Usagi, but I have to go," Tuxedo Mask said as he broke away from Usagi to investigate the source.
"Wait!" urged Usagi, but Gohan had disappeared by that time. Still though, the girl couldn't help but smile and admire the warmth that seemed to come from the hero.
"Usagi!" called a voice. The girl looked down and it was Luna, who seemingly snuck past the guards and in all probability entered through the window.
"Luna how did you.." Usagi attempted to ask.
"No time for that, Princess D is in Danger," Luna told the blond girl. Usagi nodded and headed toward the doors out of the ballroom.
Rei and Ami were able to sneak inside the office, where a strange event takes place. The aide that was with her revealed himself to be Nephrite. The princess had barely any time to question when the figure became a shadow and in around two seconds possessed her. The blond, bespectacled princess cackled with glee as the two senshi disguised as princesses were too late.
The two unpossessed princesses transformed into their sailor senshi forms. Rei launched an Akiyo Taisan at the dark specter's face appearing out of the black aura. The attack connected, but had no effect on the spirit. The princess laughed as she threw a black magic blast at the two.
The blast would not connect however as Tuxedo Mask showed up a split second later and nullified it with a swing of his black bo staff. The girls were relieved as Gohan went into a wide stance, the head of the staff pointed at Princess D.
"You are a bothersome wretch!" the demonic voice of the princess screamed at Gohan. The saiyan was about to extend the staff right at the monarch, but a voice stopped him.
"You can't hurt her, you could cause an international incident," Mercury warned Tuxedo Mask. This provided a small window of opportunity as Gohan went out of his wide stance with a sigh. Princess D darted out with the treasure that she held in her arms at inhuman speed, surprising the three heroes. The possessed girl then ran right past Usagi, causing the blond bun headed girl to no longer go to the office. Guards tried to restrain the princess in glasses, but the dark spirit gave her immense strength. With a wave of her hand the guards that had held her flew all over the ballroom, to the shock of all the guests. Laughing as if she were a deranged demon, the future queen of D ran outside.
Usagi decided that it was time to try and cut this girl off as she ran out of the side doors to try and cut her off. Usagi managed to catch up to the princess and tried to stop her from running further.
"Princess, you must stop this!" Usagi urged.
"Out of my way!" she commanded as she ran passed Usagi and knocked her over the side rail in the process. The girl thought that she was falling to great injury and possibly death. The blond closed her eyes as if she were going to meet her end.
The end never came. A second after she was knocked off, a pair of strong arms caught her. The pink dressed girl looked up and saw that Tuxedo Mask had caught her and is now carrying her in a manner that one would carry a bride into a honeymoon suite. The girl couldn't help but blush as Gohan in disguise gave her a look into her eyes through his mask and the boy couldn't help but smile. Usagi held onto his neck as he floated up to the balcony and landed over to the safe side of the rail. Gohan made sure that she was placed onto her feet before letting her go.
"Thank you," she said before she ran off in the princess's direction. Gohan nodded and decided to float above the balcony and he would swoop down if the need arose.
Usagi ran over toward her friends and saw them in a standoff with Nephrite D. Usagi, who lost Tuxedo Mask along the way to her, decided to transform. The power of Sailor Moon enveloped the bun head but she noticed that her tiara was gone. The weapon was destroyed by the inferno that claimed the life of Jadeite.
A new tiara, one with a gold braid extending from the center jewel appeared upon the guardian's forehead. Out of nowhere, Gohan showed up and was ready to engage Nephrite D once more. The saiyan however had a piece of information that showed up in his brain. The Voice of the Prince had implanted something about the new tiara that Sailor Moon had on her forehead. Tuxedo Mask reasoned that this info could be useful and yelled for Sailor Moon's attention.
"Sailor Moon, your tiara can catch moonlight. Use it's glow to take the dark influence over the princess!" Gohan advised. Sailor Moon nodded and did as Gohan instructed. The light caught in the jewel was bright and the senshi readied her attack.
"Moon Twilight Flash," shouted Sailor Moon, which shot a beam of moonlight at the Possessed Princess.
The attack did great harm to the shadow to the point that it dissipated with a scream. Princess D fell to the outdoor balcony floor, no longer possessed. The three Sailor Senshi breathed a sigh of relief. However, their relief was short lived as the princess woke up, and was genuinely confused as to what happened. The young woman asked out loud to no one in particular about her whereabouts, giving the three guardians the opportunity to flee the scene. Princess D complained about not being able to see without her glasses as the senshi were long gone from the scene. The young monarch covered her brown eyes with her spectacles and decided to rejoin the party as her questions wouldn't be answered anyway.
The senshi walked toward the party, but all of the sudden three figures appeared upon the rooftop of one of the adjacent embassy buildings. Moon, Mercury and Mars stopped in their tracks and glared at what they identified as the remaining three generals.
"You girls have been a bit of a thorn at our sides," pointed out Nephrite.
"Wait a minute, I thought we killed you just now!" shouted Sailor Moon.
"You mean my shadow. You only defeated my shadow. Sorry to disappoint you," Nephrite scoffed at Sailor Moon.
"What do you three want!" demanded Sailor Mars.
"Hmm, your deaths for starters, but that can wait," Zoicite answered confidently.
"You see Sailor Senshi, we are the three generals of the Dark Kingdom. Our fourth sadly was slain by you Sailor Mars," Kunzite pointed out.
"But at least we can introduce ourselves this time," Nephrite said. The three generals gave their names to the Sailor Senshi, though Kunzite wound up introducing the dead general as Jadeite.
"We will get the Silver Crystal, and hand it to it's rightful owner. Our Great Ruler deserves this jewel and we will rule this world," proclaimed Kunzite.
The generals disappeared, their threats lying fresh on the minds of their adversaries of the light. The three went to an area where they were certain no one could see them and went back into their disguises as princesses. Usagi yawned as she went to the nearest bench and sat down. Rei and Ami groaned, but decided to rejoin the party.
The guests in the ballroom all had their attention towards the speaker's podium. Behind said podium was Princess D and the treasure chest that she held to her chest. A speech was given on how her family had always treasured this heirloom of her royal family. After the speech was over, the Princess opened the chest to reveal a diamond statue of what looked like herself.
"This is a diamond statue of the first Princess D, made from 2,000 carats of diamonds," she proclaimed to the awe of the crowd.
However this spelled disappointment for Rei and Ami. The two of them were sure that the treasure was to be the Silver Crystal.
"I think we need to check on Usagi," Ami suggested. Rei agreed and the two of them left.
Meanwhile, Usagi was sound asleep on the bench. Gohan looked down at the sleeping form of the young girl and couldn't help but smile. Then the saiyan had an urge to do something that he never knew was in him. The boy wanted to steal a kiss from the sleeping girl. A tap on the shoulder shook those thoughts from him. Gohan turned around to see a smirking Bulma in her masquerade mask.
"You can steal a kiss later. Right now we need to leave," Bulma told the saiyan.
Gohan nodded, but took a moment to look upon the sleeping girl one last time. That small frame of time was enough for a certain talking cat to get his attention.
"Get away from her!" Luna shouted.
The twosome turned around and saw a cat who exuded anger. Tuxedo Mask knew that the little creature was serious and put his attention to her. The feline glared at the saiyan, not quite knowing his identity because of his masquerade mask, but having a good idea.
"I have two questions. One, are you after the Ginzhouishou? And two, what would the CEO of Capsule Corp. want with the crystal?" Luna harshly asked Gohan and Bulma.
"Yes," Gohan simply answered.
"And the other question is none of your business you pesky cat," Bulma replied with anger at the question.
"Pesky, why don't you come closer and I'll show you pesky!" Luna replied, showing her claws to prove her point.
"I think we should leave before this get's ugly," Gohan said, trying to calm the situation down. Bulma huffed and threw her nose up at Luna before walking past her. Feeling slighted by the captain of industry, Luna leapt at the woman. Gohan caught Luna before she could do any harm to her. The cat wriggled and hissed as Bulma went back into the building, but couldn't break the restraint of Gohan's hand.
"If you quit struggling,I'll put you down," Gohan told the cat. Luna understood and decided to stop trying to maim Bulma. Tuxedo Mask placed the cat down gently and stepped away. Luna kept a sharp eye on the hero as he leapt up and levitated off of the balcony. Gohan then floated away from the balcony then shot up into the horizon at incredible speed.
'If those two are part of the Dark Kingdom, we are in trouble,' Luna thought as she saw Tuxedo Mask fly away.
Usagi woke up from her small nap. The girl stretched a bit and got to her feet. She asked what was going on, to which Luna couldn't help but groan.
Gohan flew toward home, knowing that in all probability Bulma had either the limo take her to her house or use her own capsule copter. Thoughts of Usagi Tsukino and Sailor Moon came to his mind . Their ki singatures were similar and yet different to the saiyan. Enough differences were in their ki for one to not guess that the two of them were the same person.
Then there was the cat. Tuxedo Mask thought about the feline being there for Sailor Moon and also a few moments ago protecting Usagi. That couldn't be just a coincidence to him, his mind active as he moved through the sky.
"Well tonight was truly interesting, wouldn't you say," the voice in his head said.
All Gohan could do was smile a little at that statement. The boy knew that the events of today and of the days past while he fought the Dark Kingdom, were going to lead to something epic. Gohan wanted the senshi to be found just as bad as Luna did, though neither would know that fact of each other. That very thought also gave way to another.
A promise. A promise that he gave his little brother Goten. One way or another, he will keep his word to the little guy to let him get involved. Gohan just had to find a way to get a disguise onto the little guy.
In the morning, gravity training begins for the little saiyan.
A/N: Well I tried my best to make the whole thing with Princess D my own as possible. Please Read, Review, follow and favorite. Thank all of you for reading this fanfic.
