"He wants to talk to me alone." Harry said.
"Ok. See you later baby." Lily said kissing him.
Harry left and went to Gringotts. He Flooed directly to Bloodfang's office where he was waiting for Harry.
"Good to see you Harry." Bloodfang said.
"You too Bloodfang. What's this about?" Harry asked.
"Potter business. The part only Potters of blood can only know." Bloodfang said.
"Yeah. Why only a Potter of blood?" Harry asked.
"I have no idea. You Potter ancestors have been very secretive. Even your father. All I know is that I have to give you these artifacts. I don't know where they came from. Every time I asked I get no response. As I did with your father and grandfather I have to leave the office for the next part and that no matter what I should not enter for the next few minutes." Bloodfang said leaving Harry confused.
Bloodfang placed an orb and a cube on the desk and left the office. Harry then felt something tell him to pick up the cube which he did. He gasped as the cube disappeared. He clutched his head in pain. He screamed as he fell to the floor. The pain didn't fade until a minute later and then Harry slowly stood up and grabbed the orb and left without saying a word. Bloodfang followed him through the Floo back to Potter manor. Lily came into the living room and saw them.
"That was quick." Lily said.
Harry didn't say anything as he went upstairs and Lily then felt something was off.
"Harry." Lily called to him.
"Lady Potter. Sit down." Bloodfang said.
"What's the matter with Harry?" Lily asked.
"I don't know. This has happened to every Potter I've met and the Potters before I started working at Gringotts. All I know is that I have to tell that whatever happens don't pursue the truth." Bloodfang said.
"Why not?" Lily asked.
"Look Lady Potter. The Potter account manager before me tried to learn more about what happens next but… it got him killed." Bloodfang said.
"The Potter's killed him?" Lily asked.
"No. They swore under oath that they did not kill him. A few Potter spouses pursued the truth and they ended up dying as well. The Potters of blood swore an oath and even testified under Veritaserum. They did not kill their wives." Bloodfang said.
"How did they die?" Lily asked.
"No idea. My theory is that only Potters of blood can only know whatever secrets the Potter have. I'd hate to see Harry lose his bondmate." Bloodfang said and Lily froze.
"Y-you know?" Lily asked.
"Yes. The Potter family tree in my office updated. It shows the Aphrodite's blessing symbol in between your names. Don't worry. Only I can see the tree and your secret is safe with me. I'd before I would reveal it." Bloodfang said.
"Thank you but you're not weirded out by it?" Lily asked.
"Not really. Pureblood families have had relationships like that during the 14th century. The only ones who didn't were the Potters, Blacks and the Riddle families. We've gotten used to it." Bloodfang said.
"I see. So I should not pursue what's going on with Harry?" Lily asked.
"Correct. It will only end in death. That's why I came here. To warn you. I shall leave now. Thank you for having me here in this short time." Bloodfang said as he left.
Soon after Harry left Potter manor with a bag without saying goodbye. Lily followed him outside but he apparated away leaving Lily confused.
'What is going on?' Lily thought.
Location unknown
Harry apparated to what appeared to be a forest. He held out the orb he got from Bloodfang. The orb floated and flew in a random direction which Harry followed. It was about 10 minutes later that the orb stopped dead in its tracks and disappeared. Harry fell to ground and clutched his head again. He looked around confused.
"What the hell? How did I get here?" Harry asked since all he could remember was blacking out in Bloodfang's office.
Then the floor opened revealing a set of stairs. Harry walked down them and the floor closed behind him. When he reached the end he entered a massive room with the Potter crest on the walls.
"Whoa!" Harry exclaimed as he saw a small hand imbedded in the wall in front of him.
He placed his hand on it and the wall trapped his hand. He tried to get his hand free but couldn't. Then his hand was freed and the wall opened up. Harry was blinded by a bright white light for a minute until his eyes got used to it. He stood in shock as he saw someone in front of him. People he knew that he shouldn't meet because they were dead.
"Welcome Harry. We've been expecting you." A man said.
"Nathaniel Potter? You- You're dead." Harry said.
"Different Potter, same reaction. That's right. I am dead." Nathaniel said.
"How are you here? What is this place?" Harry asked.
"This place the Potter's biggest secret ever. This is the Potter realm only Potter's of blood can enter this place. As for how I'm here, it's because this where we come after death." Nathaniel said.
"Wait. I'm dead?!" Harry asked and Nathaniel chuckled.
"No. Potters who are alive can enter and leave whenever they want. Those who are dead can never leave." Nathaniel said.
Harry then realised something. He dropped his bag and ran.
'Same thing I did.' Nathaniel thought as he picked up the back and followed.
Harry ran through the streets of the realm. Passing through many Potters who waved as he did. Harry dropped to his knees as he found who he was looking for. He front of him was James who was smiling at him.
"Hey Harry." James asked opening his arms.
"Dad." Harry exclaimed as he cried.
He stood up and ran to James and hugged him.
"How are you kiddo? I missed you." James said.
"I missed you too." Harry said.
The other Potters gathered as they hugged.
They let go and James placed his hand on Harry's shoulder.
"You sure have grown. Come on. Let's introduce you to the family." James said.
James introduced Harry to all the Potters that were there which took around an hour.
"So how is this realm here?" Harry asked.
"It's a very long story. Luckily we got time to tell it." James said.
"Do you know how far the Potter go back Harry?" Fleamont asked.
"Sometime before Merlin. Maybe 3rd or 4th century." Harry said.
"You're way off Harry. The first Potter to walk the Earth was during the age of the dinosaurs." James said.
"You're joking." Harry said.
"Nope." James said.
"How is that possible?" Harry asked.
"I'm sure you've heard of the big bang theory?" Nathaniel asked.
"Yeah I have." Harry said.
"After the big bang, an sentient entity of pure energy that was left over from the big bang which we will call it The Energy since we don't know what it is really called, controlled time and made sure the universe wouldn't crumble and break apart as it grew since the universe is ever expanding. As the universe grew the less control The Energy had over time itself. Because of this, the extinction of the dinosaurs was delayed." Fleamont said.
"Delayed?" Harry asked.
"Yes. The dinosaurs were originally supposed to inhabit the Earth for 50 million years but like I said, The Energy was losing control of time." Fleamont said.
"How did the dinosaurs eventually go extinct?" Harry asked.
"The Energy came up with a plan. It created a person with godlike power to destroy the dinosaurs. This person was Emmett Potter. He summoned the meteor that destroyed the dinosaurs." Fleamont said.
"Holy shit." Harry said.
"I know right? After the extinction, The Energy was going to remove Emmett from existence but Time was still out of control so it decided to keep Emmett to make sure bring timeline back in order. Emmett had fallen in love with a woman and had a child. Their child was born with the same amount of power Emmett had. Maintaining time became the family business." James said.
"How?" Harry asked.
"We have to make sure that specific things happen. For example the American Civil war in 1861." James said.
"Wait. We caused that war?" Harry asked.
"No. We made sure the right people won." James said.
"Wow." Harry said.
"In the beginning we didn't know how to maintain the timeline because we had no idea of what would happen. That was until Gregory Potter married a seer." Fleamont said.
"The Potter family magic which we are born with, gives us the godly power that few can rival. The seer abilities blended well with our magic and gave Gregory's son perfect view of the future. Ever since some Potters are born with the ability and some aren't. I was born with it." Fleamont said.
"So you can see the future? Can you do it willingly?" Harry asked.
"No. It's random when we see the future. You weren't born with it like James. So you'll have to come and see me or any other Potter who has the ability." Fleamont said.
Harry then noticed James run his hand through his hair and he looked nervous.
"What's the matter Dad?" Harry asked.
"Harry. With our family magic and maintaining the timeline we have rules to follow. For the magic only Potter's of blood can know the information we told you. For the timeline, when we see something happen in the future, we HAVE to make sure it happens. Nothing can be changed. No exceptions." Fleamont said.
"I see. Where are you going with this?" Harry asked in concerned tone.
Harry was then restrained and couldn't move. He could feel the power on the restraints and never felt anything like it.
"Last time I saw the future, I saw James purposely tricking your grandfather Tom into thinking Dumbledore was controlling him. James let Tom kill him." Fleamont said.
"WHAT!?" Harry shouted as his demonic aura flared.
"That's not all son. Dad told me about the Dursleys and what they would do to you." James said.
Harry looked at James with pure rage. He screamed as he unleashed his power. He tried to melt the restraints with his demon fire but nothing happened.
"I know you're angry." James said.
"ANGRY DOESN'T EVEN DESCRIBE IT!" Harry shouted.
"Harry. If we disobey the rules The Energy gave us, if we try to tell anyone about our magic or make one change to the future we instantly die. I didn't want to you to go to the Dursleys but I had no choice." James said.
"NO CHOICE!?" Harry shouted.
"I'm sorry." James said as he knocked Harry out.
Harry collapsed to the ground unconscious.
"I know that was hard James." A Potter said.
"Yeah. Letting him go to the Dursley's was worse Sylvia." James said.
"He'll understand James when he has to continue our work." Sylvia said.
"Amazing power. He really is Genesis' descendent." Another Potter said.
"You of all people should know Theodore. You did fight Genesis before. Last I check you two were equal in power. That kind of power is rare outside of our family." Fleamont said.
"I remember. That guy was something." Theodore said.
"Weren't you supposed to kill him back then?" James asked.
"I was but I wasn't going to. Even if the bounty was massive. He saved my life when I was a kid. I was lucky that it wasn't required for the future." Theodore said.
"What exactly happened?" Sylvia asked.
"He was killing criminals and they wanted him gone. I pretended to be a fellow criminal and I fought him but it was all an act on my part. They were watching and I killed them. One by one. After that, me and Genesis stuck together in his quest. We became brothers in all but blood. Those were the days." Theodore said.
The next day
Harry groaned as he woke up in an unfamiliar room. He then remembered where he was and stood up. What he learned still fresh in his mind.
'I can't believe Dad and Grandad knew what was going to happen and they let it.' Harry thought.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Someone asked.
Harry looked through the door and saw Jeffrey Potter.
"Hey Jeff." Harry said.
"I can imagine how you must feel Harry. Our family magic can be a curse at times. When your father died and came here. He was not well mentally." Jeffrey said.
"Trying to make me feel sorry for him?" Harry asked.
"You're pissed I get it. Harry, maintaining the timeline means doing things we DON'T want to do. James didn't want you to suffer at the hands of the Dursleys. Even if he didn't let Tom kill him, he would've died regardless. No exceptions can be made. Believe me and brother Jonathan had to do something we didn't want to do for the timeline." Jeffrey said.
"What did you do?" Harry asked.
"We killed each other." Jeffrey said.
"Jesus Christ." Harry exclaimed.
"I know right?" Jeffrey asked.
"How did you muster the courage to do it?" Harry asked.
"We were going to die either way. If I had lived the timeline would've altered slightly so I would be killed by the family magic. Even if James' lived, you would've still gone to the Dursleys. Our family is cursed kid. Always has been. Come on. We're going to start your training." Jeffrey said.
Harry followed Jeffrey to the training area where James and Fleamont were waiting for them.
"Thanks Jeff." James said.
"You're welcome. Good luck." Jeffrey said leaving them.
"Look. Let's not beat around the bush. Jeff explained more about time and how I would've been sent to the Dursleys no matter what. I get that but it may take time for me to-" Harry said.
"Harry, many other Potters in the past have been through similar pain. My great Grandfather had to let himself get killed leaving his wife and children alone. We're cursed to do this forever. There's nothing we can do other than do our job." Fleamont said.
"I know that. So what will we be doing here?" Harry asked.
"We're going to train you to tap into the family magic that is inside you. Access that dormant power that has made our family unstoppable. That will 2 months to do. Although you'll be here for 3 months." James said.
"Why 3 months?" Harry asked.
"Your demonic power that you inherited from your mother." James said.
"I do remember you mentioning Grandad Tom when we last spoke. How long have you known of Mum's true heritage?" Harry asked.
"Before I first met her in our first year. Harry, we know of your bond." James said.
"Somehow that does not surprise me." Harry said.
"One of the last things I saw in future before I died was you with Lily." Fleamont said as Harry looked at James.
"Dad-" Harry said.
"You don't have to say anything Son. I even had to tell Aphrodite to take away the love Lily had for me away. When I spoke to her about it, she looked at your souls and saw the compatibility as well as the others." James said.
"You know who the other girls?" Harry asked.
"We do. They aren't evil. That's all we are telling you." Fleamont said.
"How is it that you know Aphrodite?" Harry asked.
"We know all the gods. They know what we do. Potters are basically the Gods of Time and we have power that surpasses them. By the time we are done with your training you'll have the power of 5 gods combined. Both your Potter magic and power you inherited from Genesis Omega. Theodore knew Genesis. He had the same amount of power as Theo. One Potter has enough power to destroy a galaxy." James said.
"Holy shit. Wait a minute. How is the other gods know what we do?" Harry asked.
"They only know so much about our work. Hell they have to help us sometimes. Even Odin and Zeus they are the kings of their respective mythologies." James said.
"Wow." Harry exclaimed.
"Are you ready to begin?" James asked.
"I'm ready." Harry said.
"Just because you're my son doesn't mean I'll go easy on you. Dad didn't for me either." James said.
"Let's do it." Harry said.
