The many escapades of Zarbon: Volume Two

Zarbon dabbles in pet sitting

Over at the Loud family residence in Royal Woods, Michigan, Zarbon was looking to Luna while the other Loud siblings, aside from Lori who was away at college at the time, waited off to the side. Standing behind Zarbon were his friends Tanjiro, Gasser, and Nikki. "My siblings and I should only be gone for two hours tops while we're releasing all of the wild animals that Lana got as 'pets'," Luna explained to Zarbon's group while Lana over where she stood looked upset.

Gesturing to Zarbon's group after coming up to stand next to Luna, Lincoln went on, "Meanwhile, we need you guys to look after our actual pets."

"What are we dealing with here?" Zarbon asked.

Listing things off of her fingertips, Luna said, "It's just our dog Charles, our cat Cliff, our bird Walt, and our hamster Geo."

Gasser nodded in understanding. "If we split things up evenly between us, then Zarbon, Tanjiro, Nikki, and I can each watch a different pet."

Luna nodded in agreement. "Yeah, keeping things simple ought to help manage things. Well, see you guys later." The Loud siblings then went off to go release all of the wild animals that Lana had brought home over time.

After the Loud siblings were gone, Zarbon turned to look to his group that he had with him. "Well now, I say that we divvy up the workload of looking after the pets that Luna and her siblings keep," Zarbon said, "I will take looking after Geo the hamster."

Tanjiro gave Zarbon a wry, knowing look that conveyed mild suspicion. "Just don't put Geo up your ass, Zarbon."

Inside of the Loud family house, Zarbon and his group had each taken to looking after a different pet. For Nikki, she got slated to look after the cat Cliff. It wasn't too hard for her; when Nikki sat down on the sofa in the living room to watch some TV, Cliff came up, jumped onto the sofa, crawled into Nikki's lap, curled up as he laid down, and then promptly went to sleep. This provided the Asian-Canadian teen girl with some amusement.

For Tanjiro, he got slated with looking after Charles the dog. Figuring that Charles could use a walk, Tanjiro put a leash on him and took him out. Despite how Charles was proving to be surprisingly full of energy even for a dog his size, Tanjiro was able to keep him reeled in the whole time. "My little sister had been a Muzan-type demon at one point," the elite Demon Slayer said to Charles, "You're nothing I can't handle."

Since Nikki got Cliff, Tanjiro got Charles, and Zarbon had already called dibs on looking after Geo, that all left Gasser with looking after the bird Walt. Seeing that Walt was already in his cage, and it looked clean, and there was already fresh food and water for Walt in there, Gasser figured that he could pass the time by scrolling through his phone while sitting in a nearby chair close to where the bird's cage was located.

As Gasser scrolled through his phone, he let out a surprised yelp when a squirt of bird poop randomly splattered right onto the screen of his phone when the photo of a well fed green-haired girl wearing an inn maiden outfit was on screen, with some of the bird poop even splattering right onto Gasser's hand that held the phone. Looking up, Gasser saw Walt look at him while chirping angrily at him. Putting two and two together, Gasser got rather pissed at the little yellow bird.

By the time that the Loud siblings had gotten back from their outing to release all of the wild animals that Lana had, they found Zarbon and others in the living room, with Nikki still sitting on the sofa with Cliff still asleep in her lap. "Hey, were our pets any trouble?" Luna asked.

"Walt flew out of his cage when I opened it to set back up his food dish he knocked over," Gasser lied straight faced not that the Louds could tell that he was lying, "He ended up smacking into a wall so hard and fast he broke his neck and died. I'm sorry for your loss."

"A neighbor's pitbull got loose and attacked Charles when I was walking him earlier," Tanjiro said to the Loud siblings in a somber and regretful tone, "He's alive but had to be rushed to an animal hospital. I have the contact info for both the animal hospital and the pitbull's owner, which I will give to you guys."

"I accidentally flushed Geo down the toilet," Zarbon confessed.

Luna, like her siblings, was looking upset over what had happened to their pets, but she was able to say, "Accidentally flushed Geo down the toilet?! How?!"

"I took a dump," Zarbon replied, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!"

In the end, the Louds remained chill with Zarbon and his posse, but they couldn't trust some of them with looking after their pets anymore. Zarbon was still trusted with looking after the younger Loud siblings, however.

Yeah, this was Zarbon's try at pet sitting, which ended up going down the toilet like Geo. Anyway, the next escapade will see Cell and the others show up in order to continue one of the ongoing arcs in this story. Later, skaters.
