Previously...
Twilight and her friends placed a strange book on the map table in the throne room.
"The Book of Adventures?" Rainbow frowned.
The book strangely glowed as Twilight opened it, and flash images were shown of different places and worlds.
In her castle, Twilight was arranging some books as Rainbow and Pinkie helped out.
"Thanks for the help, guys." Twilight said.
"No problem." Rainbow said placing a few books in a shelf.
Pinkie hummed as she placed some books in another shelf, but then something caught her attention.
"Hmm?" Pinkie frowned.
Among the books, she noticed one looked different, and slightly familiar.
"What's this?" Pinkie wondered.
"What's what?" Rainbow frowned.
She and Twilight joined her as it showed a familiar-looking cover.
"It's only the Book of Adventures." Twilight said.
"Uh... I think not." Pinkie said.
Twilight then noticed something on the title.
"'Book of Adventures: 2nd Edition"?" Twilight frowned reading the title.
She then opened the book, as it showed different titles, like DragonHeart, Pearl Harbor, Harry Potter, and more.
"Huh. It's like we found another version." Rainbow said.
"Maybe you're right." Twilight said.
The book then flashed as Twilight then opened it to the very first chapter: Lonesome Ghosts.
In the middle of winter, in an old abandon house, lived 4 ghosts. However, they were all bored as there were no one to scare anyone. But then, one ghost looking at a newspaper found something. A ghost exterminating team, with day and night service. They deciding to have some fun, and called them. The ghost team were 3 best friends, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. They soon answered the phone, and the ghosts pretending they were people as they told them the address.
As soon as she was done reading, the book sucked them in.
And they appeared by an old mansion as snow was everywhere.
"Brr! It's freezing." Pinkie shivered.
"It's definitely winter." Rainbow said.
"Hello!" A voice said.
They then looked and saw they believe is Mickey, Donald and Goofy.
"I'm Mickey, and this is Donald and Goofy." Mickey introduced. "Who are you?"
"Oh, I'm Twilight." Twilight introduced herself. "This is Pinkie and Rainbow Dash."
"Nice to meet you." Mickey said. "Say, we're here to get some ghosts. Wanna help?
"Ha, you kidding? These kinds of things I love!" Rainbow beamed.
Mickey knocks on the door and listened as they waited, and then he knocks harder as then the door fell down and hits the door.
"We're from the Ajax Ghost Exterminator... Company." Mickey said and saw the house was empty.
"Hello?" Twilight said.
"Huh. No one's home." Pinkie said.
They turn to each other confused, and then looked around as Donald looked back seeing Goofy in front him looking up.
He then exclaimed in surprise.
"Why don't you watch where you're going?" Donald said irritated.
"Shh!" Mickey shushed.
They then tip-toe into the house, and then the door started lifting up as they soon noticed and then the other end of the door turned and tossed them into the living room as their gear hits the floor. And a mouse trap snapped on Goofy's nose.
"Ouch!" Goofy cried in pain and pulls it off.
Then sinister laughing and cackling was heard as they looked around.
"Ghosts." Mickey said.
"Ghost!" Donald exclaimed.
"G-G-G-Ghosts?" Goofy stuttered.
"We'll separate and surround 'em." Mickey said.
They then shook each others hands, and then headed off.
Mickey and Twilight tip-toed through the hall as one of the ghosts' outline appeared, and then fully appeared and he grabs Mickey's hat and then knocked on Mickey's and Twilight's head.
Mickey turns to him and aims his shotgun, but the ghost stuck 2 fingers through the barrels as they swell. And then they exploded as the ghost giggled and laugh as he then took off running. Seeing his gun all limped, Mickey tossed it away and he and Twilight chased after him.
The ghost quickly rushed up the stairs as Mickey and Twilight followed him.
They soon got to the 2nd floor as then the ghost got to a closet door, and then closed it as Mickey and Twilight hits it and bounced back. They then try to open it as then the whole doorframe came down. The door swung open as Mickey and Twilight got up and saw the wall with no doorway.
Then fifes and drums were drums as Mickey and Twilight looked down, and then the door swung open with them on it. Then the 4 ghosts appeared as a marching band as Mickey and Twilight watched them, and then they did a dance and went through another door as it closed.
Mickey and Twilight got to the door and soon opened them, and then water washed out as Mickey and Twilight swam, and then the ghosts appeared on surfboards as the small one came in on a boat and swirled around Mickey in a whirlpool. The water and ghost vanished as Mickey and Twilight spun and hits the floor.
Sinister laughing was then heard.
"What in the world?" Twilight said.
Meanwhile, Donald Rainbow were waiting for a ghost to appear as one showed up behind him holding dozens of plates.
He then shrieks loudly and drops the plates as Donald and Rainbow rushed under a chair and looked around. Donald reaches and grabs his net as the ghost appeared behind them and shrieked, and then drops chains as Donald and Rainbow flew into an open drawer of a dresser. The top one flew out as Donald and Rainbow were in it, and it hits the floor upside-down.
Donald and Rainbow got up and looked around, then the ghost appeared behind with a plank of wood, and takes aim. And then he batted both of them hard.
"Waak!" Donald yelled and hits the floor. "That's about enough! Who did that? Who did that?" The ghost appeared behind them again. "Uh-oh."
The ghost then whacked them again as Donald quaked angrily.
"Now you're asking for it!" Rainbow said.
"Come out and fight like a man." Donald demanded. "You can't scare me! Come out and fight!"
The ghost appeared again in a fighting stance.
"So!" Donald said.
"Let's see what you got!" Rainbow said.
Donald swung his fist, and then they both punched the ghost back.
"I got him!" Donald beamed. "Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy!" He rushed after him.
The ghost stumbles back and then fells back into the floor with ice pieces as Donald and Rainbow came to a stop as a hole of water was seen. And then vanished into the floor as Donald feels it.
"Well, I'll be a son of a gun." Donald said amazed.
The ghost rose up and spits water at them as Donald shook his head blubbering as the ghost laughed. He then sunk down as Donald and Rainbow attempts to dive after him, but crashed into the floor.
"What kind of a place is this?" Donald said. "They can't do that to me." He grabbed his hat and placed it on and water poured over him leaving him drenched. "That's a fine how-do-you-do."
"Now they're gonna get it." Rainbow said.
Meanwhile, Goofy and Pinkie were sneaking around the house with an axe not noticing the ghost behind them with a tray.
"Oh, I'm brave, but I'm careful." Goofy chuckled.
"Me too." Pinkie said.
The ghost then banged a ladle against the tray as Goofy and Pinkie jumped and rushed off, and got to the wall and rips away several layers of it. And the ghost played a trumpet behind them loudly as Goofy and Pinkie got shivers and zoomed down the hall and hid in a room.
They then peek out.
"Ah-hyuck! I ain't a-scared of no ghosts." Goofy said and chuckled.
"I ain't afraid of no ghosts." Pinkie said.
The ghost then appeared behind them and kicks them off his feet, and rushed off and Goofy and Pinkie quickly chased after him. The ghost dove into a drawer as Goofy and Pinkie dug through the clothes trying to find him. The ghost appeared above them and rings a cow bell loudly as it clangs as Goofy and Pinkie jumped and looked around. Goofy turns to the mirror seeing the ghost and stares for a moment thinking it was his reflection.
"Ah-hyuck! For a moment I thought it wasn't me." Goofy said as the ghost remained silent.
He laughed as he fixed his hat and tie, and heads off but then noticed something and turns back to the mirror and stares hard as the ghost followed his movements.
"Somethin' wrong here." Goofy said.
"Yeah." Pinkie said suspiciously.
Goofy then fiddles a whisker and scratched his head as the ghost followed his movements. He then made a funny face, and stick his tongue out, and the ghost stuck his out as Goofy then feels the mirror. He lifts it up and looked around as well as Pinkie, then the ghost rang the cow bell loudly as it clangs and ducked into the mirror. Goofy jumped back and stares at the ghost in the mirror. He then moves side to side as the ghost followed him, to even pass the mirror as Goofy caught him fixing his hat. Goofy looked back having an idea, and then turns to the mirror and ducks up and down as the ghost followed. And then they did it faster as Goofy soon stopped as the ghost kept going as Goofy caught him in the act.
"I know you." Goofy said. "You're a ghost."
"Aha!" Pinkie said. "Gotcha!"
The ghost then pokes them in the eyes as he laughed and Goofy and Pinkie dove into the mirror trying to get him. Then the ghost dove out of the bottom drawer pulls Goofy's feet back, and lets go as Goofy spun and fell into the dresser wrestling himself.
"They got me!" Goofy cried.
"Me too!" Pinkie cried.
Cackling and sinister laughing was heard as Goofy shouted as the ghosts appeared.
"Help! Mickey!" Goofy yelled. "I got 'em!"
"Twilight! Dash! I got 'em!" Pinkie shouted.
The ghosts then pushed the dresser down the hall.
"I got all 3 of 'em!" Goofy said. "Whoa! Whoa!"
He was pushed ahead as the ghosts watched.
The dresser heads down a staircase as Goofy and Pinkie held on.
Below, the sinister laughing continues as Mickey, Donald, Twilight and Rainbow saw the dresser and quickly ran as they got behind some barrels of molasses and syrup, and bags of flour. Goofy and Pinkie crashed through them and they were covered in molasses as the flour drops on them leaving them white.
The ghosts soon came down ready for more fun, but then panicked.
"Ghosts!" One of them cried.
"Ghosts!" Another cried.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Rainbow and Pinkie struggled in the molasses and flour as they actually looked like ghosts themselves. Even Rainbow and Pinkie made ghost-like sounds.
"Ghosts!" A ghost cried.
"Ghosts!" They cried in fear.
They then took off running shrieking and screaming heading up the stairs, and ran through the room running over things as plates shattered and knocking everything down. And they crashed through a window as whimpering and moaning was heard trails of footprints formed as they fled.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Rainbow and Pinkie got to the window with most of the molasses and flour off them.
"So you can't take it!" Donald taunted. "You big sissies!"
"Chicken!" Rainbow taunted.
They then laughed.

I apologize for the long wait, but don't worry, Book of Adventures still has several chapters left before finishing.
Next chapter, is something that was supposed to come a while later, but I figured what the heck.
Little hint: A date that will live in infamy.
