Each novelization will tell the story as told by the games but with twists and turns added in by me, and the protagonists generally act differently from the copy-pasted hero type seen in each game. For example, Hil is goofy and laid-back, having zero interest in the league; Gloria perhaps lusts for power a little too much. Read and discover for yourself if you like! None of these have to be read in any particular order (but you should at least read Black before reading Black 2).

Unfortunately for now, the other stories are either oneshots or abandoned. I may pick them up/rewrite them at some point but yeah.

09-28-2020 - Renamed Ultra Sun's chapters to include arc numbers in the chapter titles.

09-30-2020 - Adjusted release timeline on here and on the AO3 series page so that Ultra Sun is given another month, as there was simply no way it was getting finished in September 2020.

12-25-2020 - Edited 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - All Roads Lead to Po Town' in Ultra Sun to fix errors (formatting, word mixup at one part). Adjust Pokemon Retold release timeline to reflect elongated runtime of Ultra Sun and make more time for Red. Please see the release schedule above.

01-29-2021 - Fixed the Pokemon Retold release timeline... again, allowing Ultra Sun to run until the end of February. Edited a continuity error in Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Sound the Bugle,' in which it was stated that Kahuna Kaua was the Kahuna of Ula'Ula Island. I will be looking for this error elsewhere in the story, but it was supposed to be vague until this chapter, and then Selene was supposed to not pick up on it due to her shock at reading the book regarding Captain/Kahuna abilities. Red has been pushed back until March 2021.

01-30-2021 - Edited some dialogue in Ultra Sun's 'Arc 2 (Akala Island) - She's So Gone' to be more realistic and relevant (Selene's dialogue when she's talking up Lillie, and Faba's thoughts in the POV toward the end of the chapter). Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 2 (Akala Island) - Rock and a Hard Place' for continuity and grammar. First paragraph there was an errant comma. Altered a paragraph (I understand you're upset, Elio, but...) because it sounded like Selene was blaming him for what she had just asked him to do the previous chapter (lean more into his aggression). Edited another chapter further down for mood ("Oh, no, I just wanted to come ensure...). Overall added phrases here and there to the chapter to show Selene being apprehensive about Elio leaning more and more into his aggressive nature, worrying that he's accepting that role a bit too fast and that she may have made a mistake in pushing him to that point. Altered a little of Lusamine's dialogue and thoughts to be more vague as to whether she's truly upset over Mohn or Nihilego, because the goal is for the reader to decide where Lusamine's true motivations/feelings lay.

01-30-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - I'll Fight' for foreshadowing/mood as well as logic (“Oh,” Elio immediately conceded, ...). Edited small continuity error (They had been settling into the Pokemon Center...), because Hau seemed like he understood what Selene had said at the end of 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Welcome to Paradise' despite Selene having said most of it in Kantonian. Edited for mood (Popper winced and paused his circling...). Edited for clarity (No matter how hard he tried to outrun... and Maybe the tightness in his chest,... and He bit his lower lip...). Edited multiple word choice and formatting errors in Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Calm Before...'.

01-31-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - ...the Storm' dialogue for clarity and realism throughout the chapter. Edited 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Come Hell or Highwater' for continuity (“Well, I am this thing called a ‘police officer,’” ...), because again, Selene seemed to be forgetting she had pushed for Elio to behave more aggressively. Edited another paragraph for the same reason (“She is alive, and so are they!” Elio fiercely barked,...).

01-31-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Come Hell or Highwater' for clarity (“You need an interfacer. Here’s where she lives,” ...). Fixed a couple of grammar errors.

02-01-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Eternal Cycle' for grammatical errors. Majorly edited the chapter's last 3 paragraphs for continuity with Selene and Elio's friction (please reread this part!).

02-01-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Angel With a Shotgun' for clarity (She was still shocked by the ferocity...). Edited for mood ("We... we tell each other everythin' though,...). Edited for continuity again (Hau seemed to flounder for something to respond...). MAJORLY edited the end of the chapter (“What?” Elio panicked, frantically searching ... and onward) for continuity, changing Elio's distraught reaction to show why he continued to be more determined and aggressive after this point, and make Selene sound less, well... bitchy, lol.

02-01-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - All Roads Lead to Po Town' for dialogue (At that, Plumeria had almost...). Edited for continuity (He’d save that for whoever really deserved it...).

02-01-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Ground Zero' for continuity (“Guess so,” Selene had laughed,...). Inserted a paragraph (No, no, no, Elio's revealing it all...) to cement the plot point of Selene realizing her error of pushing Elio to be more aggressive. Edited dialogue for logic (“Wait!” Selene yelped, the life...). Edited for mood (“I am not going in there with him!”...). Fixed word choice error (A golden helmet was fitted...). Edited for plot (Selene gnawed her lower lip,...).

02-02-2021 - SIGNIFICANTLY overhauled Ultra Sun's 'Ac 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Big Girls Don't Cry' for continuity and plot. Please reread!! Enormous sections were inserted and major details were changed.

02-03-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Just Like Fire' for dialogue, plot, and clarity following the overhauls to the previous chapter. Nanu's and Selene's dialogue at the beginning is slightly altered, including an inserted thought by Selene in paragraph 4. Altered the first few paragraphs of Elio's segment. Altered some of Elio and Grimsley's dialogue toward the end of his segment. In Lillie's segment, altered Rosa and Colress's dialogue slightly. Overhauled Lillie's segment so that Plumeria's secret was not revealed to her.

02-03-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - The Sirens' to reflect the changes in previous chapters (continuity, like Lillie not knowing Plumeria's secret in the third paragraph). Edited Elio's parts for mood/pacing. Edited for logic (“Stop it!” Lillie begged, desperation...). Edited for logic/clarity (Just as he spoke, Selene...) because... I literally didn't understand the original version of this paragraph so I'm sure readers didn't either lol.

02-03-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Atlantean Error' for continuity (Type: Zero's eyes are referred to as gray multiple times despite its disk change the previous chapter suggesting they were golden). Altered some of Hau's section for pacing. Altered Selene's section to show that they were indeed hurt by the shockwave, since it wouldn't make sense for everything else to be so egregiously damaged but the people to go unbothered by the electric shock. Altered a paragraph for continuity (Ripped from her stupor,...) because it sounded like Selene forgot she was supposed to be trying to stop Lusamine with her powers, lol...which is kinda the whole reason they're there. Edited for clarity (Any attempts of his to explain were...). Inserted some of Selene's thoughts at the end of a paragraph (When the vision was over,...). Edited Faba's dialogue for clarity (“I don’t know!” Dr. Faba snapped in frustration...). Inserted a paragraph at the very end of the chapter.

02-03-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 3 (Ula'Ula Island) - Ultra Deep Lament' for continuity (More selfishly, he figured...). Inserted a paragraph (Guiltily, he knew exactly why...). Altered a paragraph for mood (Missing the calmness from earlier,...). Edited for continuity (“My name’s Elio,” he told her...). Inserted dialogue for Lusamine at the end of a paragraph (At last, she reappeared just in front...) for continuity/mood. MAJORLY edited the ending of Elio's segment, starting with (Lunala lurched and an ethereal howl escaped the creature’s throat...). Edited Looker's dialogue for continuity (“Nanu, I am rapidly losing patience,” Looker...) because like... Aether's literally a conservation group. More than 2 pokemon died if the entire place sank lmfao. Edited Looker's dialogue for clarity (Looking at a paper underneath his hands,...).

02-04-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Arc 4 (Poni Island) - Hope and Determination' for continuity and plot (“Maybe if you hadn’t have done that,...). For example, Selene's eyes are said to be gray... they're blue, same as Elio's. Inserted more detail into a paragraph for clarity (All I had to do was grab Lusamine...). Inserted more detail into a later paragraph (She already knew what she was about to say was unfair,...). Edited another paragraph so that Selene seemed less hateful toward Kukui and more lost in the moment (As if dumbstruck by her accusation,...). Edited another paragraph for the same reason (“She wants nothing to do with me,”...). Edited another paragraph for character growth (Selene made the solemn decision...). Changed chapter title from 'Hope and Determination' to 'Winds of Change.'

03-01-2021 - Updated the Pokemon Retold release timeline... AGAIN! :D kill me.

03-09-2021 - Edited Ultra Sun's 'Rewrite the Stars' for clarity and setting (the final segment).

05-09-21 - Removed "Bad Romance," "Heavy," "Wild and Free," and "Purple Wasn't His Color" from Hidden Grottos. Bad Romance involved an explicit encounter between Rosa and Colress that, ultimately, was unnecessary and a result of me coping with my own trauma in unhealthy ways. "Heavy" was removed for the same reasoning, as it included a brief flashback of Nate to his childhood (again, unnecessary). "Wild and Free" was an interjection of detail showing Nate and Rosa's encounter in Black 2 during "All's Fair in Love and War." It was pulled for ultimately feeling short and like it added nothing. "Purple Wasn't His Color" was pulled for being inaccurate according to the most recent plot I have planned for Red.

05-09-21 - Edited the descriptions of various stories. Discontinued use of Tumblr account undeadtrashess. Updated the release timeline yet again, alotting for the rest of May to be dedicated to Ultra Sun.

05-15-21 - Discontinued Ultra Sun for the time being. Review chapter 62 - Author's Note for more details.

06-27-21 - Removed deadlines from profile. I can't keep up with them, irl's too crazy... Tumblr account is in use again, renamed to undead-prowess in an attempt to unify my names across platforms.

08-25-21 - Cleaned up some author's notes. Updated story descriptions on FFN since they were horribly out of date. Updated Black 2's tags (on AO3) and opening author's note (on FFN and AO3) since it was somewhat inaccurate (it claimed there was no graphic descriptions of non-consensual touching, though this is not entirely true, there is a very brief scene in chapter 39 where a character is fondled against her will). Uploaded Pokemon Retold: Red chapter 6 (Awestruck). Reuploaded previous Pokemon Retold: Red chapters for editing out some stray sound words.

09-16-21 - Cleaned up some author's notes. Updated Pokemon Retold: Red chapters to edit out erroneously used sound adjectives from Red's perspectives on AO3 and FFN.

09-26-21 - New Pokemon Retold: Ultra Sun story posted. Older version removed from series but left available to be read. Posted a new author's note to the old story to notify readers.
