The Crimson Angels—a name that causes fear among the masses. They're famous for causing crime within the already crime-infested world of modern-day Japan. They're an anomaly amongst other crime syndicates, as their brand of crime was similar to how the Yakuza operated, although carried out in a far more brutal fashion.

The life of a Yakuza, in a world of heroes and villains, wasn't a peaceful one, as they were usually taken down within weeks of them cropping up, with only a few notable names standing their ground and regrouping weeks later, only to be destroyed moments after the fact. The Crimson Angels outclassed all of that and scoffed.

They were originally a subsection of the Mafia known as La Passione, A Mafia that came into existence far before the time of heroes, separating after their new Boss banned the selling of drugs in the country. When they split off, they moved to Japan. Since then, their presence had dominated the criminal underground.

In that time, countless leaders took the mantel as "Top Dog" and led the Yakuza to victory, although it wasn't long until said "Top Dog" was captured two or three years later by police or heroes.

And then, she came.

It happened overnight. The entire Yakuza was uplifted and boosted by a new object of great importance. Several new subsections sprouted from the Yakuza in about a month after her arrival, these smaller factions proved to be a major driving force to cause the, at the time, fledgling Yakuza, to become what it is now. they were divided into sections all across Japan, from Musutafu, Hosu, Esuha, Naruhata, Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Saitama, all holding down their bases against their strongest heroes, including All Might, though only barely.

Yet, even despite being raided countless times, having their plans be delayed and large parts of their gang captured, The Crimson Angels survived. Blood, sweat, and tears were poured into the establishment, all pushing into one goal—making the world fear the term "Yakuza" once again.

For years, nobody knew just how powerful The Crimson Angels were. so they demonstrated on a fledging hero agency that had started to give them grief. A group of elite Quirk users and users of unknown power, known as the Tokushu Butai, attacked the agency and signified their win by hanging the owner of the agency by their intestines.

The public freaked out, screaming and pleading for All Might to take them down and put them in their place. After all, it was his job to put punks like them in their place.

But he failed.

The fight between All Might and The Boss of The Crimson Angels never went to the public, but All Might conceded the fight by making a bargain with The Boss. The deal was that The Crimson Angels were allowed to have control over their already claimed regions of Japan, so long as no heroes were killed and no gang members were captured, arrested, or attacked by the heroes in those areas.

When the deal was made, that day, heroism had failed. However, that didn't stop the press from making it seem like the gang had been taken down and their Boss in custody. It was funny how much the public would buy into such a lie, only for their hopes to be crushed a week later.

By that time, The Crimson Angels attacked another hero agency giving them grief, doing the same thing they did with the first one they attacked, and when All Might was called, he didn't go, not only based on the deal that was made with the leader, though they seemed to have broken it, there was another reason, though a good one, that being his fight with All For One, and the damage it did to his body.

In that time, the gang flourished, attracting every kind of criminal to join their ranks, and when they did, they were tested. That test being: The Arrow. Several people died, and only a few survived, but those who did became far more powerful than before.

When this happened, a hierarchy was created and it went something like this:

The Boss (Identity unknown)

.

.

.

The assistant Director - - - - Tokushu Butai

.

.

.

Musutafu Commader (Aiko Tatsuki) - - - - Hosu Commander (Otoshi Shinguchi) - - - - Esuha Commander (Madara Tsumugi) - - - - Fukuoka Commander (Identity Unknown) - - - - Naruhata Commander (Commander Unknown) - - - - Tokyo Commander (Identity Unknown) - - - - Saitama Commander (Identity Unknown)

.

.

.

(Mustafu Controlled) Assassin Guild - - - - (Hosu Controlled) Information Guild - - - - (Esuha Controlled) Bodyguard Guild

.

.

.

(Fukuoka Controlled) Drug Traders - - - - (Naruhata Controlled) Traffickers - - - - (Tokyo Controlled) Loan Enforcers - - - - (Saitama Controlled) Gambling Debt Collectors

.

.

.

(Equally divided) General Thugs

Within this hierarchy, only the strongest get to be promoted to one of the four main groups. Those who tried to buy their way to the top were killed, and those who tried to leave the gang and speak to the heroes were also killed.

But those who knew who The Boss was, outside of the assistant director and Tokushu Butai, were killed on sight.

The Boss's identity was something that needed to be kept a secret. Nobody outside who she trusted was allowed to know. Anyone who was even suspected of knowing was silenced, and the Tokushu Butai killed their families. They even went as far as to erase their existence from the cities records. This was their secret to keeping The Bosses' identity a secret, and it worked. The only thing known about them was their gender.

Within the group, there was one that more important than the rest, that being the Tokushu Butai. Their job was to act as both the Bosses personal elite group that gave orders to the other commanders and act as her personal bodyguards.

This was how The Crimson Angels became the strongest Yakuza in all of Japan, the identity of the leader being kept secret kept it all from crumbling apart, and their tightly guarded secrets kept close to The Boss made it impossible for someone to take them down, unless someone knew who The Boss was and survived the assassination attempt.

But that was completely impossible. No one could just escape the Tokushu Butai or the Assassin Guild.

But then again, what's a Gang story without a hint of betrayal?

[Chapter One – Gangsters Paradise - Part One]

Eight figures stood in the darkness of an office, surrounding a chair with another, much more imposing figure sitting within its confides. In front of all of them was a TV, which had been set to the news channel.

The figure in the chair leaned in closer towards the TV, the light of the object revealing the top of what appeared to be a red pinstripe suit, a black tie, and the figures chin, a scowl on their face as their piercing yellow eyes locked onto the TV.

"Good morning Japan, my name is Tsubachi Tengan, and you're watching Hero TV News. Today, we will be covering the effects of All Might's retirement on the hero world, as well as the world of the everyday citizen. We will also be covering the current scandal that the HSPC has gotten itself into with the recent developments of the late cold case about the infamous Lady Nagant and the assassination of the, at the time, head of the HSPC. And finally, the bloody battle in Tokyo between Kamui Woods and a bunch of Trigger using villains that were holding the Tokyo mall captive." The news castor paused, grabbing the stack of papers on their desk, hitting them against the wooden table, before clearing their throat to continue.

"However, before getting into any of that, we should first and foremost cover the recent takedown of the infamous Yakuza, the Shie Hissaikai. I'll pass it over to Takiyama-san for some ground coverage. Takiyama-san?"

The screen then shifted to a rather damaged downtown street, accompanied by construction workers as well as a short woman with black hair, bug-like eyes and antennas with a pincer-like mouth, wearing a black parka and holding a microphone. The woman nodded before glancing to her right, then looking back to the camera.

"Yes, thank you Tengan-san. I'm here one day after the battle between the Nighteye Institution and the dreaded Shie Hissaikai. According to eyewitnesses, several hero course students were also there as support, in case things got hectic. Thankfully, none of the students got seriously hurt during the operation. However, most of the information regarding the operation has become confidential," the reporter said, causing the figure in the chair's eyes to narrow.

"We've gotten word that the leader of the Shie Hissaikai, Kai Chisaki, otherwise known as the villain Overhaul, was being shipped to Tartarus prison, along with his henchmen. however, not too long after they left, someone had intercepted the car to attack the downed Yakuza leader., severely damaging the man. While his condition is unknown, it should be stated that he is alive. Currently, that is all we know about the situation. Please be patient as we are being updated on this regularly, now back to you, Tengan-san-"

The TV shut off as the figure in the chair leaned back, their hands folded as one of the members in the back turned off the TV; a black, misty hand had appeared on the power button for a split second before evaporating into thin air.

"It would seem as if my brother has been apprehended already… and the heroes have their hands on my niece…" the voice of the person in the chair spoke, their tone of voice irritated, though distinctly feminine. The scowl on their face deepened as their hands clasped together, the fingers digging into the knuckles of the opposing hand as the sound of an annoyed huff reverberated around the small room. Tension quickly filled the room as the group of eight stood stalk-still, not moving an inch. A moment later, the tension left the room as the woman let out a deep, yet annoyed sigh.

"You are all dismissed. Leave my office at once. I have some things to go over," the woman spoke as the figures bowed before filtering out of the office. One of them lingered for a second as a gleam of light flashed over the room, said figure wore a rather simple mask with two holes for eyes and a cheap, wore down smiley face. It was only visible for a moment, but as soon as the woman say it, they nodded, the figure acknowledging the gesture by leaving.

The Boss of The Crimson Angels walked over to one of the walls, their hand reaching over to a line of beads that, once pulled, revealed themselves to be the thing that controlled a set of blinders. As cracks of light poured in, the woman's outfit and appearance became more apparent as it was exposed to the light. The woman had long, black hair with red tips at the end, their eyes a golden yellow, and their skin a slight tan.

The view the window gave was that of a three-story building, the road being adjacent to some houses and a school, as well as a department store further down the street. People were making their daily commute to work or school as the sun rose just above the clouds.

"You've hindered my progress to reclaim the Yakuza world long enough, brother. Now that you're no longer in control, its time for The Crimson Angels to take your place…" the woman said, walking away from the window as they sat down at a desk, a picture of four people, one was smiling, one was stern, and two of them were indifferent.

In the photo there was a young, smiling girl, who looked no older than 16, beside her was a boy of similar age wearing a cloth mask, looking away from the camera, and behind them was an older man holding a five-year-old. The picture was taken almost fifteen years ago, and now the frame had been cracked, the glass shattered, and the wood looked decrepit.

The woman stared at the photo, a sense of nostalgia washed over them before they looked away.

"But first… those heroes who have my niece. They're going to be dead before I take the spot as top Yakuza." the woman said, placing the photo back down on the desk. "And then, I will reign over this country with an iron grip," The Boss said, turning to the door. However, before they could do that, they had to cause a stir in the hero community, one that would rile up the press and pull the tides in their favour.

Grabbing the daily newspaper off their desk, they smirked underneath the shadow. The headline read as Return of Ingenium—The Speedster Hero returns to Hosu at full force! The Boss chuckled, putting the newspaper down. It was time to take out one of the many thorns in her side.

Before Stain put him down, Ingenium had made it his mission to take down The Crimson Angels. That just wouldn't do, and since he had been taking down a lot of the lower members recently, she figured it was time to pluck that thorn out of her thigh before it became infected.

However, it also had an added benefit, that benefit being to get closer to her niece's location and perhaps the information of where she was currently staying. But then again, that was just a bonus. The real goal was killing that thorn that had decided to pierce itself in her side.

A cold chill cast over the hero society that night. The reason? Well, the reason was that, on this fateful night, one of their best heroes would die a bloody and undignified death.

Blood dripped down the side of his face as he glared daggers at his opponent. The crimson life liquid didn't stop dripping down the side of his hidden face as he clenched his fist. Standing in front of him was a woman wearing a red pinstripe suit, a black tie, and white gloves. Her raven-black hair waved in the wind as the pair stood atop a clifftop, her golden-yellow eyes staring at the hero.

The hero had been pushed to his limits against his foe. It wasn't often that someone got the upper hand on him, so when it did happen, it meant that he was doing something wrong. He had been following a lead revolving around a secret drug ring connected to The Crimson Angels, and he came here to bust it. Unfortunately, he wasn't met with a drug ring. Rather, he was met with a villain that outclassed him.

He tried to get into contact with his teammates, but the comms were being blocked by something. Meaning he had no choice but to fight the villain by himself. And the outcome had not been going in his favour from beginning to now.

Blood continued to seep from his costume, dents in his armour making it difficult to move. He had just gotten out of the hospital with his injuries being healed, he did not need this, yet here he was, staring down one of the most powerful villains outside of Stain he had ever fought in his life.

Tensei Ida glared at his opponent, steam coming out of his exhaust pipes in his elbows as the villain huffed.

"And here I thought you'd be much more of a challenge. You rank 19th in all of the pro heroes in our country, yet you can't keep up with an A-class villain? No wonder Stain was able to disable you for some time. You're nothing but a glorified rookie," the villain taunted as Tensei felt a snarl begin to escape his lips.

The aura the villain gave off was almost comparable to Stain, but unlike Stain, he couldn't see who the villain was. He could only see a crimson aura around their body, but it didn't brighten anything around them. Their Quirk might have been linked to that, but the fact that they had been able to outspeed him consistently was starting to get on his nerves.

He just had to follow that stupid lead. But then again, it was his job. That didn't mean, however, he wanted to fight some super-powered villain at the end of that trail.

Each time he got close enough to hit the villain, they had teleported out of the way like it was nothing, then returned with a sickly blow by some sort of psychic Quirk. As a result, his armour had been damaged, and he felt as if his body was being compressed. It didn't help that his spine had been screwed up with his encounter with Stain, and with wasn't doing it any favours.

He had to have a section of his spine plated with metal to correct it so that it would heal properly. A part of him worried that the metal in his spine would displace and cause him to flop over and fall on his face. Thankfully, that hadn't happened yet, but he was worried about it becoming a reality.

"Does the great Ingenium have nothing to say to me? What a shame," the villain spat as the hero revved his engines as he balled up his fists. The villain was playing with him, but now, he wasn't playing games anymore.

"I don't know how you've been able to keep up with me, villain, but I'll take you down and arrest you!" Ingenium shouted as the villain scoffed, crossing their arms. Ingenium grimaced underneath his helmet as the villain sneered.

"Really now? From what I heard, you were just released from the hospital, correct? Your injuries are barely healed, yet you immediately took a mission that doomed you for your death? Tch, pathetic," the villain's voice was condescending, their expression shielded in complete darkness, though he could sense a smirk amidst that shadowy cover.

Without a second of delay, Ingenium rushed towards the villain, ignoring the pain that he had endured while fighting against them. His ribs ached, his shoulder was dislocated, and he was blinded in his right eye, but he didn't care. He was going to take this villain down. His speed was outmatched, yet the villain didn't budge from her spot. He recoiled back his non-dislocated arm in preparation to release a deadly blow to his opponent, one that would deal a significant amount of damage.

The punch came inches away from the villain's face. However, all the villain did in response was smirk with an unhealthy amount of confidence.

"Tch, you think that can defeat me? I've already-

-Tensei smirked under his mask, knowing that he defeated the villain.

However, that smirk was replaced with confusion. It happened again. The villain was gone, again. Just like the other times he had attacked her, he was sure he landed a hit, yet each time she disappeared, leaving a gap in his memory when it happened. He was standing in the same spot she was, with no sign of her even being there in the first place.

Whatever kind of Quirk this villain had was far too dangerous.

"W-What-" But before he could even process what happened, pain erupted from his abdomen, blood spewing out of his mouth, splashing against his helmet as flecks of it came through the gaps. Tensei's eyes widened as the pain surged through his body. It felt the same as when Stain stabbed his sword into his back, except far worse. He looked down at where the pain was coming from, expecting to see what had hit him, only to find a gaping hole in his stomach, blood pooling to the ground.

He didn't have time to register what was going on. He felt light-headed as he watched all of the blood pool on the ground in front of him. All he could think about was his family and how he had failed them. He promised them he wouldn't get hurt again, not like he did when the man fought Stain, yet here he was, facing off against a villain as powerful, if not more so, than Stain.

"It's almost disappointing how easy this was. You're supposed to be a pro-hero ranging in the top twenty. Yet you couldn't defeat me. But I guess even you have your faults, Ingenium. Now, do me a favour, as the last action you will take in this world, tell me, who was the one who orchestrated the raid on the Shie Hissaikai?" The voice belonged to the villain from before, though it was a deeper pitch than it was a few moments ago. It sounded almost masculine compared to before, where the voice sounded feminine.

As the searing pain erupted through Tensei, all he could respond with was a mere "I don't know" before he slumped over, dead, falling to the floor with a clang. A separate figure flashed into the woman before she glared down at the deceased hero, a red aura covering their silhouette as they picked up Tensei's body, walking over to the edge of the cliff and chucking it over. His body hit the cliff face several times before landing on the rock below, his limbs disfigured, even one of his legs breaking off completely.

"So much for your long-awaited return, Ingenium." The villain spat, turning around and walking away, the unmistakable glare of a hardened Yakuza in her eye as she did so.

Later that night, a vengeance-filled roar echoed throughout the city.

To Be Continued.

So here it is, the first chapter of our lovely story. None of the OC's showed up yet, but that was on purpose. I want to build up hype for them. After all, this is a JOJO fanfic as well, so I'm not going to bring out my big players just yet. After all, this is just the first chapter. Plus, this is just a taste of what's to come.

Also, for those who got it, the fight with Ingenium was a reference to Jean Pierre Pollnareff vs Diavolo in JJBA - Golden Wind.

I've also compiled a "Soundtrack" for this fanfic under the name "I Shall Erase Fate and Skip Past it – Soundtrack."

I also have a P-A-T-R-E-O-N. Check it out, donate if you're interested: h-t-t-p-s : / / w w w . p-a-t-r-e-o-n / g-o-b-b-l-e-g-u-m-2 (Remove the dashes and spaces)
