Tails followed Fiona all the way to the main throne room, where the rest of the Destructix members were present.
"So, what's the important meeting about?" Tails whispered to the red vixen's ear before she went to her own throne.
"You'll find out, sweetie." Fiona said, kissing his cheek and walking to her throne, sitting on it. She made sure that she sat the hottest way possible so her two-tailed pet could see the beauty inside and outside of her.
"Okay, punks, listen up." Scourge rudely said, getting everyone's attention. "We have a new recruit on our team, who, like my ex, used to be with those Freedom Losers." He coldly laughed before Fiona gently kicked his leg so he could continue. "Give Tails a warm welcome… He's going to need it."
Flying Frog, Lightning Lynx, Predator Hawk, and Sergeant Simian just looked at the two-tailed fox. While Lynx and Simian showed respect by clapping their hands, Flying just laughed uncontrollably and Predator just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Why do we need him on our team?" Predator asked, "We already have one fox who can fight!"
This angered the two-tailed fox. However, before he could say anything, Fiona stepped in.
"Because he's smarter than all of us combined." The red vixen explained, "Also, for your information, he has fought other villains before when he used to be a freedom fighter."
"He wouldn't lay a hand on you when you wanted a fight." The blue hawk stated. Tails looked down in embarrassment while Fiona just gave Predator a glare.
The green hedgehog then went back to the meeting speaking. "Anyway, now that we got the introductions done, tomorrow, fox boy, you'll be doing some hardcore training, if you can handle it." Scourge smirked.
The two-tailed fox gulped a bit, but he then put a confident look on his face. "Of course, your highness." Tails said, trying his best to not say anything stupid.
"Good to hear." Scourge stated. "Also, the Suppression Squad will be coming over in a few hours, so-"
"Wait." Tails interrupted. "The Suppression Squad? Why are they coming here?"
"Well, to answer your question, fox boy, they want to make a truce and, hopefully, an alliance with us."
The two-tailed nodded in understanding.
"Okay, meeting dismissed." Scourge concluded, getting off his throne and heading to his room. The others left to head to their rooms as well. Before he left, Lightning Lynx gave Tails a concerned look.
"You might want to be careful since you'll be staying with us, young one." Lightning advised before heading to his room. Tails nodded. Before he could also head to his room, the red vixen called his name.
"Tails." Fiona said, getting his attention. The two-tailed fox walked up to her and kissed her cheek lovingly.
"Yes, my queen?" Tails asked.
"Could you be a dear and take me to my room?"
Tails nodded, picking her up and carrying her, in bride style. He carried her all the way to her room.
