Back with Freedom Fighters at the Freedom HQ, they were still rebuilding their home, while the blue hedgehog was searching for his two-tailed friend.

"Why would Tails run away?" Cream asked, worried and scared for the two-tailed fox.

"I don't know, Cream… But, don't worry." Amy assured her rabbit friend. "I'm sure that Sonic will find him.

Cream nodded sadly and sat down. She was really worried for Tails... He was her ex-boyfriend after all. Those two used to date three months ago... However, they broke up. It wasn't because their relationship wasn't working or that Tails was begin a jerk to her, or the other way around. It was because Cream was seriously hurt on one of the Freedom Fighter missions. Luckily, the rabbit survived, but was taken to the hospital on after the mission. The two-tailed fox was so devastated that he decided to break up with her, only to protect her, since he was the one who took her on that mission.

"I really hope that he'll find him."

"Don't worry, sugar-rabbit. Sonic will find him in no time." Bunnie tried to assure her.

"Sonic was too late last time..." Cream reminded them.

On Moebius

The Suppression Squad were drinking while getting ready to head over to Prime Mobius. Surprisingly, Scourge decides to call a truce between them so they can work together and defeat their enemies and rivals.

"You sure we should trust snot?" Boomer, known as Anti-Rotor, asked. "Knowing him, he'll stab us in the back the first chance he gets."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't even think about that." Miles Prower, known as Anti-Tails, assured. "Knowing Scourge, I have something that'll interest him a lot.

"Hope it'll be worth it, my dear." Alicia Acorn, known as Anti-Sally, stated. She then kissed her lover's lips.

"Oh, it will be worth it, my queen. Miles assured her, enjoying the kiss. He then puts an evil grin on his face.

Back on Mobius

Tails was still no where to be found... Sonic searched everywhere for him, even one of his favorite places!

'Hmmm... Maybe Tails is at his secret lab'. Sonic thought. However, before he could continue, he saw something heading his way. "HUH?!" The blue hedgehog shouted, dodging the attack that was coming for him. When he looked up, he saw a familiar, metallic face. "Metal Sonic..." The blue hedgehog sneered at his robot counterpart.

"Sonic..." Metal spoken, staring back at his organic counterpart. "I knew that you would be here..."

"Of course, you would!" Sonic jokingly said, but then gotten serious. "Now, where did Eggman do to Tails?"

Metal Sonic was confused. "Eggman did not sent me here to answer your meaningless questions..."

"My bad friend has either ran away, got lost forever, or gotten kidnapped by your fatty boss! the blue hedgehog said, very pissed off. "Now, you're going to tell me where he is, Or... I'm going to BEAT it out of you!"

The robotic-lookalike only laugh, flew up a bit and back away a few feet away from the blue hedgehog. "If you want to know so badly, you'll have to CATCH ME!" Metal Sonic then flew away, getting a head-start.

"If it's a race you want, it's a race, you'll get!" The blue hedgehog then raced ahead, following and catching up to his metal-lookalike rival.
