Rose's blonde hair floated gently in the beach breeze. Her tears could've filled the ocean right beside her.
'On your own,' she choked before forcing a smile. 'I love you.' The words were cracked with grief.
The Doctor smiled sadly, his eyes reflecting the same love and loss deep in his heart. 'Quite right, too. And I suppose, if it's one last chance to say it.' He seemed to glow with happiness and sadness. 'Rose Tyler...'
His supposed last words vanished with him into nothing. I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye, Rose remembered from earlier.
Goodbye. Rose thought. She sobbed into Jackie's shoulder, feeling the arms of Pete and Mickey embrace her with their own sorrows. I love you. Is there a difference when said to him? To you, Doctor?
There was no reply.

'Still running! Prepare for crash!'
Jenny's spaceship soared upwards above an asteroid. Being a soldier and Time Lady, she had incredible coordination and reflexes. The bulky spaceship twirled at top speed past space shuttles. For some reason, they seemed way more advanced than what she had learned from her companion.
'Bad Wolf! What's this? You sure you sent us to the 20th Century?' Jenny shouted.
'This is beyond even my abilities,' the young feminine voice answered. 'There's a planet with oxygen and H2O ahead.'
'Earth? I see it, it's just different.'
'Two o'clock!'
Jenny yanked the steering wheel, narrowing avoiding a space shuttle that almost knocked into her ship. She scanned her surroundings through the glass for obstacles before she floored the controls, zooming towards the planet that looked like Earth's twin.
