A/N first of all, creature Bell doesn't get enough love in this community and I have taken it upon myself to write it. Secondly, I am trying a third person pov for this story. As always, Happy Reading!

Bell is also an elf because why the hell not. The only elf/creature Bell stories I've read are either discontinued or have not been updated in weeks.

I got this idea off of a post on reddit about Bell being raised by the Xenos but I wondered what he would eat besides the fruit down in the dungeon, so I decided to turn him into a creature.

Still need to pick up the SO light novel and don't know much about the creatures. I'm basing it off of what I know from the SO anime. This story's plot is going to be entirely original until it reaches the start of the anime.

The image is obviously not mine

(honestly i can't find the creator, all i know is it's based off of some vtuber)

Summary: Some mortals are loved more by the world than others, some are despised by it. A young boy had his right to live taken away by the will of the gods, just because he could break the limits and become a threat to them. The foolish old man the boy called his grandfather could not disobey the divine will, and thus slaughtered the young boy. A boy hated by the world and by the gods was instead loved by the evils of the dungeon, he was given a second chance to live and thrive. Instead of becoming a monster like he was intended to be, he still had the heart of a child wanting to be a hero, and his dream only grew when he met those hated both by the mortals of Genkai and by the monsters of the dungeon: the Xenos.

He Who Is Hated By The World

Chapter 1-Rebirth of the world's evils

Various voices could be heard yelling in a small cabin within a mountain village, in the dead of night.

"He is dangerous, he should be eliminated before he becomes a threat that is too large for us to handle." spoke an old man with a raspy tired voice.

"He is just a boy, why are you doing this to him?" spoke a woman with white hair and eyes of green and gray.

"He will become too dangerous for the gods to control." replied the old man

"Is the pride of you gods so great that you would kill a child just because of his potential." replied a man with red hair and gray eyes.

"YOU THINK I WANTED THIS. I LOVE THAT CHILD JUST AS MUCH AS I LOVE THIS WORLD." Yelled the old man

"If you care for him so much, why must you do this to him?" asked the woman who looked as if she was in immense pain.

"If i don't do it myself the boy's soul will be destroyed so he won't be reborn." replied the old man

A young, white haired red eyed child with very noticeable pointed ears, peered from behind a closed door

The scene he saw scared him. His family was yelling at each other in the middle of the night. He couldn't bear to see them look so angry and sad, so he spoke up with concern.

"Mom, uncle Zald, and grandpa, why are you yelling." asked the boy, as he rubbed his eyes

"Bell my boy don't worry, go back to your room and go to sleep." said the old man

The boy suddenly turned towards the woman and saw how hurt she looked. He stepped forward and hugged her.

"Mama Alfia what's wrong, why do you look so sad?" asked Bell.

"Don't worry about it Bell, nothings wrong. Just go back to sleep."

The boy listened to his mother and walked towards his room

"That boy deserves to live just as much as you foolish gods." replied the woman now known as Alfia.

"The boy deserves the best of the world, with that I agree; but if I disobey the divine judgement the boy's soul will be completely destroyed to never be able to experience the joys of the mortal world." said the old god

"I still can't agree with killing a child just because he may pose a threat to the "All Powerful" gods" replied Zald.

"It must be done, if we ever want to see that boy smile even if it is in a new life. If you want the boy to experience the joys of this world, you must let him die." replied the old god.

"I expect you to atone for your sins and send yourself back to Tenkai Zeus. If you take the boy's life away and continue to keep living I will make your life a living hell, even if I die I will take spiritual form and ruin you." spoke Alfia.

"How could I force myself to stay here after having to kill my own grandson." said Zeus with a solemn and somber look.

Before being interrupted Zeus continued speaking "I will allow you to take my life after I take his. An eye for an eye as to speak. He will be reborn and so will I."

"And how long will it take for him to be reborn?" asked Alfia with a hint of desperation.

"The rule of Tenkai is unpredictable, it could take him from a few days to multiple milenia. No one can tell for sure." said Zeus

'Is sorry Bell my boy, I wish I could have seen you grow and become a fine hero.' thought Zeus as he started walking in the direction of the boys room.

Zeus slowly inched closer and closer to the body of the sleeping boy. His regret kept growing as every second passed.

With one gentle hand placed at the center of the boy's body emerged a gradient white light, and now he had been reduced to an empty shell.

Another great light appeared but it was strangely more powerful. A great pillar illuminated the dark night sky and showed a symbol of lightning.

A young boy had opened his eyes and seen himself be immersed in darkness. He scanned his surroundings only to find a chilling sight of a creature with blood red eyes and no form. It looked almost demonic, even at his young age the boy could sense it was dangerous and evil

"WhAt iS yOur wIsH? WhAt dO You stRiVe tO do aNd bE?" spoke an unfamiliar crackling voice that scared the child even more.

"Who are you? What do you want, where is my family?" asked the boy in a quiet voice.

"Why are you doing this to me? Mom uncle Zald Grandpa please help me." screamed the boy in terror

From the darkness of the figure a woman immersed.

"Silence boy, how dare you cry in the presence of someone such as mineself." spoke a woman who extorted an aura of mystery and danger

She continued saying "Now tell me what do you desire; power, revenge, maybe control over the world?"

The boys eyes suddenly started shining and he spoke

"I wish to be a hero, no I must be a hero."

"Saying you dream to be a hero in front of the embodiment of evil is quite bold, boy." said the woman

"But your answer quite amuses me, very well then I'll grant you the power to become a hero but I will make the world forsake you. I will shatter your dream and make you succumb to my rule and obey my commands as not a hero, but a child of evil." spoke the woman with almost sadistic glee

Suddenly a dark purple and black aura started surrounding the body of the young elf and caused his vision to blur.

The boy gradually opened his eyes that were earlier enveloped by darkness all he could see was a grayish black tinted room. The place had an eerie and dark feeling about it.

The boy who was still nothing but a child couldn't help but be frightened. He started wandering the halls of the labyrinth he had found himself in.

*Crack*

The boy heard a great cracking sound that echoed throughout the labyrinth. Before he could react a black winged creature emerged from the wall.

The boy yelled in panic and desperation and said "No please no! Help me!"

The creature lunged forward attempting to slay the creature that very much so scared it.

It could feel the power of the boy and felt itself grow panicked and attempted to attack the boy.

Before it could slay the child, its attack was intercepted by a person in a black cloak that covered their body in their left hand. They held out a magic staff and launched a great red fire at the creature that had the form of a dragon.

"It is alright now, child. You are safe." their voice seemed to echo even without the effects of the labyrinth.

The child was still in tears as he looked at the figure who had saved him.

"Thank you *hic* for saving *hic* me." spoke the child as he attempted to stop his sobs.

The figure looked at the child and thought 'A mere child who has been cursed by the world itself, truly a pity. He has such a pure soul and is made to be an embodiment of evil."

The boy had finally calmed his sobs and started to speak "what is your name?"

"I am Known as Fels the fool." spoke the figure

"Why are you known as a fool? You seem like a cool hero from a storybook!" exclaimed the child as he praised fels.

Fels couldn't help but chuckle at the antics of the young boy.

"Now that I have told you my name, what is yours?" asked fels

"Oh sorry, my name's Bell. it's nice to meet you." said the boy in a slightly embarrassed voice.

He started speaking again and asked "Where am i mister Fels?"

Fels contemplated if he should reveal to the boy that he was in the dungeon.

He couldn't tell the child that he was a monster that was reborn inside of the dungeon.

Yes, that would surely scare the boy. But what could he say? 'You're in a cave or maybe you're in the afterlife.'

No no he needed to reassure the child as if he was a father.

"Hello. Hello. Hello." repeated bell over and over

Fels snapped out of his thoughts and spoke

"Oh sorry I was deep in thought. Now to answer your question we are in the dunge-on." he spoke

'Dammit Fels you said it, you just had to say it.'

Unlike the reaction he expected, the boy was jumping up and down chanting "I can be a hero now. I wanna go kill monsters."

The boy seemed strange to Fels. But his childish antics brightened the mood of even the depths of the dungeon.

"Do you want to be a hero?" questioned Fels.

"YES!" exclaimed Bell

He gave a smile that could warm the hearts of even the coldest of people.

'He truly is just a pure soul given the short end of the stick."

Fels wanted to take care of the boy and prevent his soul from becoming corrupted by the evils of the dungeons.

But he could bring the boy up to the surface, no not without a safety measure first. All adventurers who saw the boy would instantly try to attack him and take his head.

So Fels could only think of one place to bring the child; to the Xenos. He needed to urge the boy to follow him so he gathered his thoughts and asked "would you like to become stronger?"

"Yes" spoke Bell without even a hint of doubt

"Then follow me. I will introduce you to people who will help you become a hero." spoke Fels

'ok" said bell

The only thing Fels could think was 'he is too trusting. We will need to work on that.'

Suddenly Fels pointed out his staff and chanted something too quiet for the boy to hear.

A blue light enveloped their bodies and they then found themselves in a dark room full of stalagmites and stalactites.

"Oi everybody it's Fels, maybe he brought us some more alcohol." spoke someone that could barely be seen.

The person who the voice came from slowly emerged from the darkness revealing a; Lizardman?

"I'm sorry to disappoint but I didn't bring any alcohol, Lyd." said Fels

"Woah, a talking monster." exclaimed Bell as he looked at the figure fd Lyd

Through the thoughts of Fels he wondered how the child could change his attitude so quickly, the boy seemed bi-polar even.

Lyd suddenly got on guard and yelled "Fels why the hell did you bring a surface dweller down here?"

"He is more similar to you than he appears. He is somewhat like you Xenos." spoke Fels

Lyd started inspecting the boy and suddenly got down and bowed to Bell.

"Master, I am sorry for my disrespect." said Lyd

"Master?" asked Bell with A confused expression

"I can sense you are favored by mother and are her vessel of darkness." said Lyd without once getting off of his knees.

"Mother? Vessel of darkness?" what are you talking about Mr. Lyd" asked Bell curiously

Suddenly Fels interjected and spoke "Lyd we need to speak privately."

Lyd stood up and followed Fels

"So what is it you would like to discuss, Fels." asked Lyd

"The boy does not know what he is and I prefer to teach him to be kind and heroic instead of arrogant and self centered." spoke Fels

Lyd couldn't help but let out a boisterous laugh and said "you want to turn a child of evil into a vessel of heroism. Well I couldn't agree more with your mindset. He still seems to be a child and we can prevent him from becoming a great calamity on par or even stronger than the dragon."

"It is exactly as you speak. I can't take him to the surface so I would like you to take care of him. But please just treat him like a normal child." Fels spoke in a pleading tone

Lyd nodded at the man's words and gave a thumbs up.

Lyd started walking in the direction of bell and called to him "Bell-chi get over here"

The boy started walking towards the lizardman and asked "what is it Mr. Lyd, and why did you call me Bell-chi?"

"Think of it as a nickname to prove our friendship." said Lyd with a large grin

"Yay we're friends now, wait I should give you a nickname too right?" asked Bell

The boy went into deep thought and blocked out any noise until he got an answer.

"Lydo!" spoke the boy enthusiastically

The lizardman gave a large grin and said "I like it."

"Now, I hear you want to become strong and be a hero. I'm really strong, you know, so would you like to learn how to fight with me?" he asked with a playful tone

"I want to be a hero and I want to be stronger. So please train me Lydo." the boy asked excitedly.

Two years had gone by since the boy met his new family and his current father figure. Bell had taken a liking to Fels and grew to have a similar personality to him, stoic and strict but also caring and kind. The boy seemed to mature quickly and even learn at a phenomenal rate. He traveled down to the deep floors very often to grow stronger, even if he seemed toi mature he still held the childish dream of becoming a hero.

"Oi Brat you wanna join us, we're headed down to the deep floors." spoke a angry seeming gargoyle

"Of course I would love to go Gros-chi." said bell with a mischievous grin

"Stop with that ridiculous name, Lyd is rubbing off on you too much." spoke Gros with feigned anger.

The boy let out a soft chuckle and started walking deeper into the depths of the dungeon with his arms behind his back.

"You better catch up before i steal all the magic stones." said Bell

"Oh you're on kid." spoke Gros with a determined smile

The gargoyle would never admit it but the boy had grown on him in the last two years, he was like a younger brother to him.

Both Bell and Gros started heading down but they were interrupted by a familiar voice

"Bell quickly an unknown familia is being attacked down in the deep floors and there is a high chance a juggernaut will be spawned." spoke Fels in a rushed voice

Without a second thought the boy jumped down into the pits of the dungeon and started looking for those who were in danger.

"That boy is too rash. He acts too quickly before even hearing all the information, but at least he still has a heroic heart." spoke Fels as he thought aloud.

Fels started heading towards the direction of his "son".

Bell had found those who were being attacked and a sight he thought he would never see again. There stood a white haired woman with eyes of green and gray with her fitting gothic dress.

"Mama Alfia?" spoke Bell as if he was questioning his own eyes

The words of the boy caused both the attackers and victims to look at him, all of their eyes went wide but for different reasons.

The victims had seen the boy that many said lived in the dungeon and ate magic stones while the attacker was able to see her son again.

"Be- " the woman's words were interrupted by the cracking of the walls and an unfathomable monster appeared.

The boy grew angry as he saw the monster attempt to hurt his mother and he soon spoke in a commanding voice "STOP"

The monster paused and turned to look at the boy but all it could sense was danger and a monster stronger than itself.

With a snap of his finger the Juggernaut dispersed into ashes leaving only a magic stone, which he quickly picked up and ate.

To say the onlookers were surprised was an understatement. They looked as if they would fall over from the slightest wind, but the worst was Alfia.

"B-Bell is that really you?" she questioned tears threatening to leave her eyes

"Yes it's me Mom." said the boy with a bright smile of happiness.

The woman ran over to the boy and put him in a hug that could kill those below a level 3.

"Sorry to interupt your reunion but don't think that you getting to see your son again excuses you attempting to kill us." spoke a woman with red hair and green eyes.

The boy was visibly confused at the word of the woman and he looked at his mother in response but all he could see was a face of guilt.

Aaaaand end sorry for the cliffhanger but my noggins all outta juice for this story.

I was planning on having Bell and Aiz but I was like nah ima do an enemies to lovers cliche because why not.

Fret not because The story will not be Alfia x Fels as I accidentally seemed to imply by calling Bell, Fels' son.

I'm taking a break from writing new ideas and am finally gonna start writing chapters for the existing stories. You'll probably be getting an update of this and "Healing Of Broken Souls. Don't expect an update of "Will of a father" because I am deeply disappointed in myself for typing that garbage up. I will try to rewrite that in my free time.
