Getting Out of A Jam

Mishima Zaibatsu Headquarters HQ West Tower…

Edgar: "Hwoarang? Do you have a gun?"

Hwoarang: "Just a pistol."

Edgar: "What type?"

Hwoarang: "What type? Lars just gave me a Ruger SR2019."

Edgar: "That thing isn't gonna do jack against these guys, whoever they are. Get back!"

Edgar takes cover from gunfire by a Spetnaz soldier, he quickly returns fire from the wall and shoots the soldier in the head with his 360 Magnum gun…

Edgar: "Use this." (From the backpack Edgar give Hwoarang a gun just like his.) "It packs a bigger bullet obviously."

Hwoarang: "Thanks."

Edgar: "Let's move!"

Edgar Grant had been in these picky situations before dealing with a squadron full of soldiers. How many of them were they? Edgar only had so many clips to use. If the trio ran out of bullets before escaping the building, then they were all dead mean. Or they could use the weapons of the enemy against them.

Stealing the AK-47 used by the dead soldier, Edgar experty took down any soldiers trying to shoot at them. Steve and Hwoarang never used their pistols yet while trekking down the staircase. Edgar's marksmanship was superb. The trio made it to the atrium of the 3rd floor inside the West Tower building. Then a larger number of Spetnaz soldiers seem to triple with them all spreaded out ready for ambush. Edgar quickly commanded Steve and Hwoarang to take cover behind an open coffee bar stand.

Steve: "We're surrounded!"

Hwoarang: "At least we ain't dead yet!"

Edgar: "Not to worry! I got a little surprise for them!" (Takes out a flash grenade.)

Edgar tossed a flash grenade high in the air. The grenade exploded after five seconds after it blinded most of the soldiers surrounding the perimeter of the West building plaza. Edgar was able to shoot down 5 soldiers near his position and then he moved closer to a metal covering by the escalator leading down to the first floor. Hwoarang and Steve soon followed him while ducking from bullets.

They all worked together shooting at the Spetnaz soldiers from the first and second floors. Edgar must have shot up to 25 soldiers in total while Hwoarang and Steve only manage to hit 8 soliders equally. The assault against them was over. Hwoarang then talked to Steve who was surprised to know he could use a gun.

Hwoarang: "Not bad rich boy. Who taught you how to shoot?"

Steve: "My boxing trainer. He would take me to his shooting range outside his home for practice. So that's how."

Hwoarang: "Who are these guys anyway?"

Edgar: "I don't know. But we need to move on the double!"

As the trio moved down to the first level they suddenly felt a loud blast coming out of the front entrance way. At the same time, Edgar's phone began to buzz from his right pocket. He looked at it despite the loud banging. It was Nina calling.

Edgar (On the phone): "Nina? Hello?"

Nina: "Edgar where are you? What's your status?"

Edgar: "I'm still inside the West Building. Kinda preoccupied here!"

Crazy laughter could be heard from the entrance door…

Hwoarang: "Aw crap! Don't tell me that's who I think it is!"

Steve Fox: "Look out!"

A blast from a bazooka missilie was shot directly at the group. They all managed to get out of the way before the missile destroyed the escalator that was behind them. The enemy continued to laugh like a maniac as he made his prescene. Hwoarang looked on next to Edgar as he saw the very person he suspected.

Hwoarang: "Bryan Fury?"

Bryan (Throws away the bazooka.) "I see these scrubs were no match for you! But now that I'm here, your luck has run out!"

Steve: "If you are here for the research then you are too late! I've already made sure that evidence of genetic therapy is now gone!"

Bryan: "You did what?"

Steve: "If you planned to do something with it, then you are the one who is out of luck!"

Bryan: "Hah! No matter! Finding the lab was just a side mission! My main mission is to destroy everything in my path!" (Crazy laughing.)

Bryan dashes right at Steve For as he attempted a Superman style punch in which Steve rolls to his left side. Bryan hits the sign behind Steve Fox, shattering it to pieces. Steve responsed with a strong cross punch to Bryan's ribcage, but Bryan didn't even grimace. Bryan retaliates with a backfirst from his right fist. Steve ducked as he tried to hit back with a downward punch, but Byran catches Steve's fist. He squeezed it as Steve felt immediate pain.

Hwoarang: "Kiiiiyyyyaaaaahhhh!"

Hwoarang kicks Bryan's face with a flying sidekick as the cybernetic man had to let go of Steve's hand because of the resistance.

Hwoarang: "C'mon man! I know you can hit harder that that!" (To Steve.)

Steve: "I did! But he's not the same Bryan as before!"

Hwoarang: "Huh?"

Bryan (Laughs): "That's right! With this new generator, no one is going to stop me! Especially you punks!"

Hwoarang: "The f*ck is he talking about?"

Steve: "Edgar! If we can't stop him! You will have to shoot him!"

Edgar: "Say what?"

Bryan: "Two on one is fine, but shooting me? Hah! And you call yourselves Tekken figthers? What a joke!" (Attacks.)

With both his arms out dashing, Bryan hits Hwoarang and Steve at the same time taking them all the way into a lounge area, smashing the clear glass windows! Edgar couldn't believe what we just saw. Could those guys handle such a monster? Hwoarang and Steve were both shaken up by that sudden crashing in the windows. Bryan came over to Hwoarang and put him a clinch position as he exchange knee blows into Hwoarang's stomach.

Steve: "Stop!"

Bryan smirked as he grabbed Hwoarang by his outfit and tossed him over Steve's head. Hwoarang's body sailed right over Steve's head as he collied on top of a couch! Bryan once again attacks Steve with a fury of punches. Steve was still faster than him as he bobbed and weaved through every punch. Then Steve connected with a 3 hit combo with the final punch being a right cross to the face of Bryan. Bryan Fury backpedals but he starts laughing like a maniac again.

Bryan: "That's it! Try and keep it up boy!"

Hwoarang shook his head as he rolled out of the couch. He fought against Bryan Fury and managed to beat him in the past tournaments, but this time he was overpowered like crazy! Steve continued to defend himself as best as he could. His punches were not doing much damage on Bryan. Bryan was slower than him, but when he hit Steve, the punches were heavier with a stingful impact. When Steve used his arms to block Bryan's straight reverse punch, the hit was so strong it took Steve Fox straight into a wall. The impact made the wall crack and Steve fell on the floor chest first. Seeing that made Hwoarang real ticked.

Hwoarang: "Hhhhhaaaa!"

Hwoarang came from behind Bryan Fury with a skipping sidekick followed by a tornado style kick right over the head of Bryan! He rolled about three times on the floor until his body stopped. Bryan's vision got blurred at a bit, but his circuitry got his sight back. Then he got booted in the face by Hwoarang's right foot! Bryan rolled away again until he stopped at the wall. Hwoarang was gonna knock him out with another sidekick. But then…

Bryan catches Hwoarang's left foot and then grabs the ankle to take him for antoher ride! But simply put, Bryan smashes Hwoarang right into antoher wall connecting to a small conference room!

Bryan: "Hahahahahaha!"

Hwoarang hit the floor again. His head was totally rattled after that freak toss. Bryan just mocked his disposition. Then Bryan picked up Hwoarang by his neck with just the right hand. He was squeezing the life out of him! Hwoarang looked at the corner of his eye to the left and saw Steve was still down. This couldn't be the end right?

POW…

Byran: "Gggggccchhhh!" (Let's go of Hwoarang.)

Bryan staggers back after letting go of Hwoarang. Something happened to Bryan as he fell down on the floor. A combination of human blood and oil leaked out of his head. Hwoarang coughed heavily as he tried to gather his breathing again. Hwoarang looked back from behind after hearing footsteps. It was Edgar with the stolen AK-47 he took from a Spetnaz soldier. Edgar shot Bryan Fury in the head.

Hwoarang: "Thanks man. I thought that was it for me."

Edgar: "Don't mention it. That guy wasn't human after all. Just another creation of a lunatic scientist." (Looking at Bryan's head cracked open by the bullet.)

Steve (Finally standing up.) "Aaaggghhh. I think my shoulder is separated."

Edgar: "Hang on let me check." (Gets close to Steve and looks at the shoulder.) "Hold still."

Edgar puts some pressure on the shoulder bone as it popped back in socket…

Steve: "Gggggggggaaaaaa!"

Edgar: "Sorry Steve. Just leave it alone and you should feel better."

Steve: "Ok…thanks." (Still in pain.) "I can't believe how powerful he has become." (Talking about Bryan.)

Hwoarang: "Where did that f*cker get so much stronger at any way?"

Edgar: "I rather not know, but we better get out of here now."

The trio finally manged to get out of the West Tower of the Zaibatsu Headquarter Complex. However, the group was not completely out of harms way just yet. Right at the front of the entrance was a series of drone tanks owned by the Spetnaz. There must have been at least ten tanks all waiting for Bryan Fury to finish up his search of the laboratory papers of genetic manipulation. At the very middle tank the hatch opened up and it was Sergei Dragunov! His expression remained calm on the outside, but deep down he was not a happy General. Bryan did not succeed in his mission since he never came out. No matter what if he was still alive or not, Dragunov needed to eradicate all evidence and witnesses if the research was not attainable.

Hwoarang: "Aw come on! We can't fight tanks! How are we gonna get out of here?!"
