Here's another one. Thanks to Misstykata for helping me write more accurate French

"Oh No!"

"Jiji what happened!"

"It's not possible!"

"Mr. Joestar?"

"Can someone tell me what is going on?" asked Weiss.

"That. Is Kars. The strongest enemies I have ever faced."

Jojo was surprised, his grandfather literally died fighting Dio but this man was worse?

"I fought him 50 years ago, it took all of my strength and one of my hands to defeat him," Joseph tore off his glove for emphasis.

"Well, you defeated him once alone, how hard can it be?" asked Ruby.

"Do you have a volcano we can throw him into?"

"uh-"

"Or another way to throw him into space?"

"Well, no-"

"Or a way to actually kill him this time?"

"So it won't be that easy then." Blake said.

"It sounds impossible," said Polnareff.

"It sounds like quite a story," came a voice from across the room.

Ozpin stood in the doorway with Glynda at his side.

"I hope you'll tell me all about it later, but for now I think we should give Ms. Nikos some peace and quiet."

The assorted bunch left the nurse's office. The Stardust Crusaders spoke with Ozpin in his office while RWBY and JNR swapped stories in the JNPR dorm room.

"So, we all have Stands now?" asked Blake, tentatively looking over her shoulder to see her cat lounging on the bookshelf.

"I guess so, but ours are a bit weird. Ruby got a cape, you have a cat and Jaune has, what, a doll?"

"Yeah, I don't know either. Ursa, do you know anything?"

His Stand appeared on his shoulder.

"I know that I am meant to be a reflection of you, so I assume the other Stands do the same, ursa."

"You must really like that song," added Nora.

"What about you, Nora. Didn't you summon a whole guy earlier?"

"Oh yeah," Nora summoned her Stand. A muscular man appeared behind her, stonelike skin covered in blue markings, the only clothing seemed to be a leather loincloth, boots, and a winged helmet. From his back sprouted two tall, narrow wings and a spike with a bulb just below the point.

"What should I call him anyway?"

"Well, mine called himself Ursa Alert so I didn't have to come up with anything."

Nora turned to her Stand.

"So, what's your name?"

The Stand poked her nose with its finger and, in a high-pitched voice said,

"Boop."

"Boop it is!"

The girls spent the next while experimenting with their stands. Yang could summon a single gloved arm, Blake tried to get the attention of her cat, Ruby played around with her rose petals, and Weiss struggled.

Yang let her Stand arm work a punching bag as she called out to Weiss.

"You okay there, Weiss?"

"No, I'm not. That janitor said I have a Stand but nothing I do will make it appear."

"I mean, Ursa said he stabbed you, right? You definitely have one. Why don't you try attacking something?"

"That's what I've been doing! Why do you think I've been out here this whole time?"

Yang withdrew her stand and walked up to Weiss.

"Is that a way to talk to a friend who's trying to help you?"

Weiss closed her mouth.

"Especially one who's going through the same thing you are and may be too busy working out her own Stand to pay attention to you?"

"I'm sorry," Weiss whispered.

Yang wrapped her up in a hug.

"Your forgiven Weiss. I know you're frustrated. Why don't you find Flattop and ask him what your Stand looks like? He saw it, right?"

"That . . . is actually a good idea."

The hug broke and Weiss walked off the field. In the distance Blake's cat played with some of Ruby's cast-off petals while ignoring Blake.

Weiss was waiting for him when he exited the headmaster's elevator

"Mr. Polnareff, hello, I would like you to help me with my Stand."

Polnareff looked back to his friends.

"Come back to the apartment soon, we'll need to figure out who's going and who's is staying," said Kakyoin.

"Enjoy your date~," said Joseph.

He blushed.

"It's not a date!"

"Just ignore them, let's go," Weiss started walking away.

He caught up with her eventually.

"So, what are you struggling with?"

"I can't make my Stand manifest. What did my Stand look like?"

Polnareff thought for a moment.

"It was mirror."

That made her falter for half a step.

"I see."

She was quiet for a moment.

"Was that all?"

"It was larger than you, and me I think-"

"You think?"

"It only appeared for a moment to block my attack so I couldn't get a good look, but yes it appeared to only be a mirror."

"That's. . .disappointing."

"I wouldn't underestimate mirrors chaton. I'm sure yours has some surprises in store."

"Well, we shall see. We're here." She stopped walking, arriving at the training hall.

"Are we having a rematch?"

"My Stand manifested when fought-"

"You mean I overwhelmed you."

"It was a draw. Anyways! My Stand may be a response to danger so we are going to fight until we can make it come out."

"And will I be using my Stand in this fight?"

Weiss paused.

"You may."

/-/

Weiss stared down her opponent from across the ring. She reminded herself that the goal was not to win but to bring out her own Stand.

"Are you ready, Polnareff?" she readied herself in a fighting pose.

"I am." He somehow adopted a pose where he was both in a standing split and parallel to the ground.

"Here is my Stand, Silver Chariot!"

Out came a cross between a skeleton and a knight. It settled about a foot off the ground and raised its sword to her own.

"This is almost too perfect."

The stand advanced, lunging for her throat. She parried and stabbed forward. The Stand retreated and she readied her fire dust. Three glyphs appeared and turned red, firing three bolts of fire at Polnareff.

Before they reached him, Silver Chariot appeared in front of him and parried the fire.

"You should know that a stand can always be recalled to the users side."

"I don't care about that, how did you cut through fire?"

"Silver Chariot can cut through fire."

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"You must abandon that word if you are going to fight Stand users!"

Polnareff and Silver Chariot advanced on Weiss. Weiss sent a volley of icicles at the pair, but he parried all of them.

"The only thing that is true in a Stand Battle is what you can observe!"

He lunged at Weiss.

"The only certainty is what you can do!"

Polnareff was stopped midair by a glyph around his waist. Silver Chariot cut through it and Weiss used the opening to deliver three quick stabs to Polnareff's midsection.

Before he could retaliate Weiss bound Silver Chariot in glyphs and sent it flying, taking Polnareff with it. She encased him in ice for a moment before he cut himself out.

Weiss readied herself while Polnareff stood up.

"Well done so far young fencer, but you've only faced half of me so far."

"What, are going to take out your own weapon now?"

"Non, you see, since having our aura unlocked, we've also developed semblances. Though the nature of seems tied to our Stands. Now behold, My Semblance!"

Polnareff took a pose,

And dropped his aura.

Before Weiss could question why, Silver Chariot's armor fell off its body. Suddenly there were seven Silver Chariots. She readied a defensive wall of glyphs to block all seven sword strikes.

But not one to block one human foot.

She flew back from the force but recovered soon enough to ready her defense.

And then she felt a tap on her shoulder.

She wheeled around soon enough to see a fist coming for her. She raised Myrtenaster to block but felt a sting in her back. She glyphed out of the way and avoided the follow up attack.

"What do you think of my semblance, chaton? Originally, I could drop Silver Chariot's armor to increase its speed. Now I can forgo the defensive quality of my Stand to boost my own speed! Witness the power that allows me to clean an entire dorm room in one day!"

"Are you really bragging about how good a janitor you are?"

Polnareff faltered.

"Furthermore, you're supposed to be overwhelming me to bring out my Stand so why are you just standing there talking?"

"Well, I-"

Weiss lunged at him.

He has speed but he shouldn't have reaction time. Ruby usually needs to stick to straightaways when she uses her semblance of speed. Distract with a lunge and then summon a glyph under his feet.

He flew back but his Stand advanced. He said he just increased its speed so these must just be after images. The lead must be the real one.

A sharp pain in her side.

Not that one then. They came at her again. She brought a glyph up in defense and skated around the mob.

"Have you seen your friends using their Stands?"

"What?" Weiss ducked under a sword swing.

"Have you noticed a particular quality of Stands?"

"What are talking about?" she parried a blade swinging right at her.

And the sword passed right through hers.

"Stands only interact with material objects when you will it."

"But I was parrying it earlier!"

"I allowed that to trick you later."

"That's-"

"Deception is the nature of Stand battling." SC swung at her.

Weiss backed away. More swore thrusts followed her. She raised her sword reflexively until she had the presence of mind to summon a glyph shield.

"Your runes seem to be made of an energy that Stands can't ignore, but defense will only get you so far!"

Weiss made a half-dome of glyphs around her but before it could close, she felt hands on her shoulders.

"Nope!" Polnareff shouted as he threw her away from the edge

"Not getting away with that, young one." He kicked her like a football into the center of the ring.

Weiss was surrounded. Seven stands and one man forming an octagon of offense against her. She couldn't think. Only dodge and deflect what she could.

"You have to fight some time."

Dodge, summon, jump, parry.

"You can't keep this up forever."

Parry, dodge, dodge, roll.

"Fight!"

Flash

"Stop telling me what to do!"

Weiss huffed, out of breath. She readied Myrtenaster only to see her that nobody was attacking her.

"You did it Weiss!"

She did?

Weiss turned behind her.

There was nothing.

"What do you mean?"

Polnareff started laughing. He fished out his scroll and took a picture.

He beckoned Weiss over and showed her the photo.

Behind Weiss was a mirror. A mirror at least 8 feet high. The left and lower-right sides were sided by marble pillars while the top and upper-right sides were surrounded by blue filigree.

"This is my Stand?"

"It is. When you turned around, it followed you and stayed at your back, so you couldn't see it."

"So, it really is just a mirror."

"Les apparences sont trompeuses. Let's find out what your Stand can really do."

Weiss smiled.

"Right!"

Polnareff limped into the apartment building later that night.

The apartment was really an unused dorm building built for transfer students. They shared rooms in pairs and met in another for meetings.

"Polnareff, how was training the young Schnee?" asked Avdol.

"It went well, I think she has potential. Now, what were we going to talk about again?"

"Good grief Polnareff, we just talked about this," sighed Jotaro.

"Well, it was a while ago! And, I just had an intense fight too!"

"An intense fight with someone whose only had her stand for one day?"

"Her semblance is ridiculous too," Polnareff sulked.

"Anyways, we need to decide how we're going to split up going forward," Kakyoin said.

"we're splitting up?" asked Polnareff.

"we're the only ones who can see enemy Stands. When Kars sends more minions, we're the only ones who could do anything about it." Jotaro began.

"So, some of us will need to stay here while the rest go to finish off Kars," Joseph finished.

"Don't we have eight new Stand users in Beacon? Can't they watch over it?"

They can, but their inexperienced. One of us should stay here to guide them. Plus, the headmaster asked us to also check the other academies for any of Kars' spies." Joseph said.

"I volunteer for staying here then," Avdol raised his hand.

"Actually, I think I have to," Polnareff hiked up his shirt to reveal a bandage wrap around his midsection.

"That girl has a pretty tricky Stand. I'll be on the mend for a bit, probably less if I stay in one place."

Avdol clenched his hand before lowering it.

"Well, I guess that narrows it down." I think Avdol and Iggy should investigate the Academies while we confront Kars." Said Kakyoin.

"No."

Everyone turned to Jotaro.

"What?" asked Kakyoin.

"You, Avdol and Iggy will check out the academies while Jiji and I confront Kars."

"Jojo, just the two of you is too dangerous. Mr. Joestar said his comrade only survived by being a cyborg. You need-"

"you're not coming!" shouted Jotaro.

"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't even have defeated Dio! You need me!"

"And that's why you're staying!"

"What?"

"You got lucky. You and Avdol and Iggy. If any of us die again we can't bet on another reset."

"Jojo."

"I'm not going through that again. Not with you. You're staying."

Kakyoin clenched his fists in rage.

"Jiji and I are going to talk to Ozpin tomorrow to get a private bullhead to the Vytal Islands. We'll catch him by surprise and put it to rest."

"It won't be that simple Jojo, his stand could do anything!"

The World!

Kakyoin was confused. He was just standing over Jojo but now their positions were reversed.

"If he can regenerate, then I'll just beat him up until there's nothing left. I'll be back before the rest of you can reach one academy. Just wait." Jojo strode out of the room.

Kakyoin looked around the room. None of them moved to challenge Jojo.

"I'm going to sleep," Kakyoin left the room.

He walked out of the building.

Another chapter in just a week, I'm spoiling you guys. In seriousness, the planes trips I was on made me sit down and write more, I actually edited some other fics I've had in the works too, but I probably won't have time to make a chapter soon unless I adopt public transport, which sucks in my state so unlikely. What I'm saying is, this fic is not on hiatus, but it will probably be a while until I put out another chapter.
