Hey Guys! Welcome to Chapter 4!

Deku was barely holding on. As his fingers gave out one by one, he was reminded of that day on the roof. Thinking of the day he fell was weird for Deku because he felt like he should be angry at that boy, but he felt nothing.

Every time he thought of all the times, he cowered from his bullies he thought that he was so pathetic, and he knew that it all had a connection to the spiky blonde boy, 'Kacchan,' but he didn't know what his role was. Why did Izuku care about his bully? This was an area in which Deku could not understand Izuku.

Deku sighed as his last finger was about to slip. Using the new technique they had learned, Deku put his other hand on the ledge, turned his body, and ran up the wall and back onto the roof.

"Took you long enough," Toga remarked.

"Well, I wanted to wait till the last second. Makes it more exciting."

"You're going to get yourself killed, I just know it." Dabi complained.

"I may get killed but at least I'll die looking beautiful." Deku remarked.

Toga burst out laughing while Dabi rolled his eyes, "At least I don't look like a vegetable, broccoli boi."

"You're right. You don't look like a vegetable, but you bear a striking resemblance to a burnt chicken nugget."

Dabi's hands lit aflame as he walked to Deku, "Oh, so you wan-"

"Enough." Stain interrupted. Immediately all three stood at attention. For the past four months Stain had been their mentor, training them in various forms of combat and strategy skills.

Deku of course was the most advanced. "Sorry Teach, but you gotta admit that I'm right."

"Right or not, you three should be practicing not joking."

"That means I'm right."

"Anyway!" Stain commanded attention back to himself, "I'm going on mission tonight. Toga, Dabi, you are free to join if you wish."

Toga pulled out a knife already nodding yes while Dabi smirked.

"What about me Teach, you never let me go."

"That's because you go out to collect the information for the next mission."

"But how am I supposed to improve as a villain if I'm never put in action?"

"Deku," Stain said in a tone of voice that called for no more arguments. "Gathering information is more important than any other part of the job. Without the right information the whole plan goes to shit. Don't underestimate the part you play. Plus, some of the best villain, never do any of the work themselves. It's the ones who orchestrate that are the worst."

"Yes, Stain." Deku quickly left, doing parkour across the rooftops. He wanted to be a villain. He understood what Stain was saying, but he still felt that he needed to at least see a little action.

As he was running Deku began to hear a ringing in his ears. Doubling over he started to retch at the ground. His body felt like it was being torn apart from the inside. Panicking, Deku reached for the charm around his wrist. Pressing the button to call Kurogiri.

Like during the last episode Kurogiri showed up and injected him with a red liquid. "Deku, are you alright?"

"Yea, but what is that? This is the fourth time this has happened. Is this going to happen every month?"

"Seems like it.

"What is it? Is there anyway to make it stop?"

"Yes, but not any way that would be beneficial to us all."

"This never happened before. Did this start during the missing month from when you guys found me?"

"Yes, it stated then. Just remember we created the antidote, and it seems as long as you get it once a month you will be fine."

"Yes, Kurogiri."

"Anyway, its good you called I have the next mission for you."

"Which hero this time?"

"Hawks."

"Hawks?" Deku was surprised.

"Not in that way." Kurogiri said, obviously picking up on the fact that Deku thought that they were going to kill Hawks. "We need information on whether or not he can be turned to our side. Weaknesses are not needed at this time, but always appreciated."

"Understood, I'll get on it."

Kurogiri disappeared through a warp gate, leaving Deku still pondering the strange illness he developed.

Bakugou walked in the house and immediately put his backpack down. Rushing, he went straight to his room. Thankfully, neither of his parents were home to see his mania. They thought he was making progress with accepting Deku's disappearance, when, in reality, his whole room was a web of red string.

Images of Deku were pinned everywhere along with connections to everything that happened the day of his disappearance. Bakugou often kept updated with the police reports. He was surprised when he learned that the green sludge he had seen was from a villain, and that Deku had almost died twice.

Knowing the nerd, he knew which way he would've taken home from the tunnel. Following the nerd's path, Bakugou had walked the same way and asked anyone in sight if they had also seen the nerd. Many of those people had work in the area regularly, so they were there that day, and had seen Deku. Although Bakugou noticed that, after a certain point, no one had seen him at all. For weeks he'd been exploring the area trying to discern where the nerd could have gone, or if there were any suspicious figures, but there was nothing. No trace, No trail.

Bakugou was following his threads trying to decide the next course of action when he heard a knock on the door. Dodging string he left his room to go and answer the door. Bakugou stumbled back when he opened the door to find his hero on the other side.

All Might stood in the doorway proudly. "Are you Young Bakugou?"

"Tch, of course I am."

"Great! I hear that you played a big role in the Midoriya case."

"The nerd disappeared. I only told the police what I knew."

"No, you went above and beyond and got a confession from that other young man."

"Don't go thinking that I did it to help that Damn Nerd, that other guy just pissed me off, so I got him caught."

All Might looked at Bakugou skeptically. "Well, I came here for a reason but before we get to that, detective Tsukauchi wanted to know if you had any more information on Young Midoriya."

"Tch, yea. I know the route the nerd took after the tunnel and where he disappeared."

"Really? That's amazing, I'll tell Tsukauchi to come speak with you."

"Whatever."

"Anyway, onto the main reason I cam here today." During their conversation they had moved into the living room, and All Might took a few steps back from Bakugou. Bakugou watched as his hero deflated, coughing blood, and becoming a skeleton. Bakugou's eyes widened.

Before he said anything All Might spoke. "I'm sure you are surprised. I assure you I am All Might. A few years ago, I was in a fight that was not made known to the public and received an injury. Now I can only stay in my hero form for three hours."

"And why are you telling me?"

"Because Young Bakugou, I want you to become the next symbol of peace."

"Hah?"

"I came to Japan to find my successor. My quirk is not my own. It was passed onto me like a sacred torch. I find your heroic actions inspiring and would like to pass my quirk onto you. I will train you to become the next beacon of hope in this world."

"Me?"

"Yes."

"You Bastard!" All Might's face turned to one of shock. "Why are you telling me this? You met the stupid Shitnerd! If he wasn't good enough to inherit your power than I'm not worthy!" Bakugou was enraged. "You're going to help me find that Deku and you're going to give him your power and the chance to be a hero. And then I will work my hardest to surpass him and be the number one hero!"

"Surpass him?"

"The Shitnerd was always better than me, always helping people and being kind. He's always been a hero and you are going to put us on equal ground, so that when I become better than him it will be absolute."

"I understand. We will find Young Midoriya, and if I find him worthy, he will inherit One For All."

Bakugou thought of all the times he hurt Deku, trying to stop him from being a hero so he wouldn't die due to his lack of quirk. With All Might's power Bakugou wouldn't have to worry so much out the Damn Nerd. As he'd said, Deku was already a hero, which is why he said his next words confidently.

"You'll find him worthy. Trust me."

Stain watched his students train as he thought. He wasn't sure why he had agreed to take them on as students, but they proved to be diligent.

During the past four months he'd been keeping a close eye on Deku. Deku was the most prominent of his pupils and showed great enthusiasm when it came to the idea of villainy, and yet Stain had been warned against killing in front of the boy.

Why can he not kill? Is Deku one of the few villains with a moral code? No, because he wants to go on the missions. What was it about Deku that made killing not an option?

Stain thought back to a few days ago when he had followed Deku. He had saw him start retching, and Deku showed all the symptoms of withdrawal. Was Deku an addict? He saw Kurogiri's arrival and how he immediately stuck Deku with a needle. As Deku began to start getting better the was no doubt in Stain's mind that there were drugs in that shot, but what was interesting was how Deku's eyes faded from green back to their volcanic red.

He started to remember the conversation. Deku's addiction started five months ago, during a month that he can't remember. What happened during that missing month? There was a line that Kurogiri said that set alarm bells in Stain's head. When Deku asked if there was a way to make the pain stop, Kurogiri answered, 'Not any way that would be beneficial to us all.' He said there was a way, which is obviously to let him detox and be free of his addiction, and that would be very beneficial to Deku, and if Deku is healthy he can perform better which would be beneficial to the League. So why is the League still giving Deku the drugs? There is something strange going on.

Deciding to think more on this later, Stain walked up to his pupils. "Toga, Dabi, I want you to spar. Deku you are going to be sparring with me."

Toga and Dabi began to attack each other while Deku and Stain jumped a few rooftops over. During his four months with Stain, Deku had gained back the weight that he'd lost and gained a few muscles. He looked nothing like the scrawny starved kid who had first come to him.

Standing across from Deku, Stain pulled out his Katana, and watched stoically as Deku pulled out and extended his Bo Staff. When Deku had first chosen the Bo Staff as his main weapon Stain had been skeptical, but after training him, Deku had become quite proficient.

The two eyed each other, watching to see who would make the first move. Wanting to see his student's progress Stain attacked first; he rushed Deku swinging his Katana in a horizontal arc, which of course Deku blocked and countered with his Bo Staff. Deku ducked under and around until he was behind Stain and readied to deal a blow. Unlucky for Deku, Stain was very skilled in combat and turned before the blow even hit.

This went on and on. Stain took note that Dabi and Toga were done with their spar and watching them now. Judging from the cuts Dabi suffered he assumed that Toga won. She was only nursing a few burns.

A few minutes later and Stain was finally able to get a cut on Deku. Immediately he licked his blade of Deku's blood and froze the boy. It was unfair of him to use his quirk, but any future opponents Deku faces won't hesitate to use theirs.

Stain was impressed with his pupil's abilities; very few people could keep up with and match him blow to blow. Plus, the cut he managed to get was minimal and will probably be healed the next day. Stain was very impressed with his student.

Even though Deku had type O blood and would be free soon, Stain released his quirk and helped his student. "You did very well Deku, I am impressed. I'm not sure how much there is left for me to teach you, you learned very quickly."

"That's because I had a good teacher."

"How about I let you join us on our next mission then? Since you're so proficient now."

"Really, Teach?"

"Yes, I believe you earned it."

"Yes."

Stain watched Deku celebrate and Toga and Dabi giving him congratulations. To be honest he should have done this a while ago. Stain is curious of the no killing rule, so he's going to find out why it's there. He wants to see how Deku will react.

This is going to be fun.
