Hey Guys! Welcome to Chapter 6!

*! These Characters are not mine and belong to My Hero Academia !*

Bakugou clicked his tongue as he turned off the T.V. It'd been two weeks since that pro hero had his encounter with Stain, and the damn extras were still talking about it. He had been surprised too, but he only needed to hear the story once. Honestly, he could see why this guy was on Stain's list, he was milking the story to its fullest capacity, and enjoying every drop of fame he got.

Walking past Old Hag in the kitchen he grabbed a piece of toast and then his school bag. Bakugou was glad that school was almost over. He already planned to use the extra time summer gave him to try to go deeper into his search for the nerd and to train for the UA entrance exam. He was hoping that the damn nerd would find a way to participate in the exam despite whatever circumstances he may be in. When he found that nerd, he would make him pay for worrying everyone so much.

School had been different since the nerd disappeared. Everyone had gone and switched groups and the people they hung out with. After he outed Long Neck, a lot of his friends stopped talking to him thinking that he had betrayed them for the nerd. Which he was fine with. He didn't need anybody. Besides, he'd find new friends when he went to UA. Those extras were bound to be dropped when he got in and they didn't.

He went and sat at his seat, sparing a quick glance to where the nerd sat. He made sure to take detailed notes during the lesson for when the nerd came back. The rest of the school day was the same as any other; he went to all his classes, took his lunch, returned to classes. When the final bell rang, he was out the door.

Today was Wednesday. Right in the middle of the week, which is why he picked it. Instead of going home he turned to go to the market. Last week the Hag had figured out what he was doing and told him to use her money instead of his own. They had an argument over it but of course the Hag won. He walked around picking up various groceries for Auntie. At the register he handed the cashier the yen the Hag gave him.

He was walking down the street toward Auntie's when a boy with green fluffy hair walked by him. Bakugou turned around and spun the boy. He was wearing a medical face mask, but Bakugou could see his eyes. They were red. He quickly let go of the extra and walked away. It was eerie to Bakugou how similar the two looked, but upon reflection that extra had been more jacked than the nerd.

Shoving the extra out of his headspace he walked up to Auntie's apartment and knocked. Unlike two weeks ago, Auntie came and opened the door. This was the second time since they came as a family that Bakugou came on his own. Both times she opened the door on her own, so he took it as a sign that she was doing better.

Nodding his thanks, he walked past her into the kitchen. He put away the groceries minus a select few and started prepping the food. Auntie sat at the table and watched him from the dining room. They didn't talk much when he visited, he didn't think that she was ready to yet.

When he finished cooking, he gave the meal to Auntie and began to clean the apartment. It was looking for a lot nicer than it did two weeks ago and cleaning it up wasn't as hard of work anymore. Auntie had stopped dropping weight since their last visit, he hoped that meant she was eating again. Just like him she still held the hope that Deku would be found and brought back, so he would always give her the updates on the police reports before he left.

Auntie ate earlier nowadays, so he was out of the apartment by seven, and was already on his way to his next destination. Since All Might had shown up and Bakugou refused his quirk, the two had been working to train Bakugou for UA and All Might assisted in the search for Deku.

Today was a training day, so Bakugou walked down to the beach. So far, he had half of it cleared. All Might had made him switch between letting him use his quirk to help and forcing him to train his muscles by doing it quirkless. It was good training, but he was still wary when it came to All Might. How does a hero meet Deku, and not find the damn nerd worthy? The nerd outshined Bakugou by a long shot.

Tomorrow he'd be back out searching for Deku again with All Might by his side. This nerd couldn't avoid him forever.

Dabi wasn't sure what to do. He missed one mission due to injury and everything had gone to shit. He still remembered when they came back two weeks ago; Deku had looked like a kicked puppy. Stain looked serious, as if he were resisting hunting someone down. And had looked ready to kill, though that was normal, but this was more intense, as if more than just her blood lust was driving it. What on earth happened during that mission?

Now everything was starting to get back to normal. He and the other were just about to head out to train. Stain had decided to take the day to himself, most likely for a solo mission, which they were all used to. The only difference today was that Deku had asked him to use his quirk when they sparred with each other later. Normally Dabi would jump at the chance to put the smug kid in his place, but something was off with Deku lately and it didn't feel right. He hadn't even teased him about getting injured!

Deku had grown to become like a little brother to Dabi. Likewise with Toga being his little sister. Dabi thought that he had left Touya behind, but he liked having siblings again and easily slipped into his big brother side around them. He knew something was going on, and the best way to learn about it was to give them time to tell him while giving them subtle pushes.

For now, he would just play the field and gather information. He trusted them to tell him if it was something serious that affected them all. They were in this together now.

Toga felt anger and guilt. She didn't know the full story, but she knew that Deku did not want whatever was in that syringe. She didn't trust for feel safe with the League anymore. She was angry that they would lie to and force Deku to take a shot he didn't want, claiming it was to help them. She thought the League had wanted to fix society, but instead they embodied what was wrong with it.

On the other side, she felt guilty for keeping Dabi out of the loop. If she didn't feel safe with the League, then she didn't trust them with what was becoming her new family. The three of them and Stain had formed a unit. A member of their unit was being hurt and Dabi deserved to know that. But what if she told him and he dismissed her? She knew what she saw that night, even if Deku didn't remember it himself.

Toga was pulled out of her thoughts by the boys sparring match. Deku was more intense today, and it was obvious that something was on his mind. Dabi was matching him but was calmer where Deku was calculated. She knew that Deku wanted to spar with Dabi's quirk fighting against him. Every attack was aimed to try to enrage Dabi to the point where he used his quirk.

Sadly, for Deku, Dabi had more control on his emotions then most and didn't get frustrated easily. Although if Toga knew this there was no doubt Deku knew. She wasn't half the analyticist he was, so he must be planning something.

The spar looked like it was going to be a draw when Deku said something that Toga couldn't completely make out. The only word she heard was 'father'. She may not have heard what was said but whatever it was sent Dabi over the edge. Blue flames erupted along the older boy's arm, and he prepared to launch them at Deku. Deku only grinned.

The match didn't last long after that. Deku ended up getting burned on most of his right arm, but he seemed unaffected. Dabi, though, was obviously still upset by whatever Deku had said and that was mixed with a bit of guilt and disappointment she assumed was from him injuring Deku. It was then that she decided to tell him.

After they arrived back at Stain's place, she followed Dabi to his room, making sure to close the door behind them. She knew that they were going to have to include Deku if they were going to get any real information on anything, but she needed to talk to Dabi about this alone.

"What do you want Toga?" Dabi snapped, obviously still upset.

"I need to talk to you." His expression didn't change, he still wanted her gone. "It's about what happened two weeks ago." She prompted, grateful that it seemed to spark his interest. He nodded for her to continue. "Well, the mission was going good, everything went to plan until . . . Deku jumped in front of Stain and blocked the final blow."

She watched as Dabi's eyes shot open. It would have been comical to see the normally serious boy wear such an expression if it weren't for the topic of conversation.

"Why on earth would he do that? Deku had been practically begging to go on that mission, he wouldn't have pulled a stunt like that."

"He wouldn't have except in that moment his eyes were green." She took Dabi's silence as an invitation to continue. "Not only that but not long afterward Kurogiri appeared with a syringe, claiming it was medicine for a condition that Deku has."

"So . . . Deku is sick."

"I don't think so. He was terrified of that needle. He was shaking violently it was horrible." Toga got shivers herself just remembering the scene. Dabi pulled her into a hug and started rubbing her back in a comforting gesture. She nodded her thanks before continuing again. "I think Stain knew something because he wasn't too surprised to see Deku's eye color change. Anyway, after Kurogiri ended up giving Deku whatever serum that was, Deku's eyes went back to red, and he couldn't remember why he was so afraid of the needle."

She looked to Dabi to try to see what he was thinking, but the boy was only brooding, thinking over and processing the information.

"Okay." The purple boy finally said. "The League is dangerous, something is wrong with Deku, and Stain has information that might make this all make since." He looked to Toga for confirmation. All she could do was nod. "Well, the solution is easy. We talk to Stain. We deserve to know what's going on and to try to help."

"Will he tell us?"

"I hope so."

"And if he doesn't?"

"Then we just have to work harder to figure this out on our own. All I know is that Deku needs help, and I'm ready to offer mine. After we talk to Stain, no matter the outcome, it would be beneficial to talk to Deku and see if he can fill in the blanks."

"Okay." Toga agreed, happy to have Dabi take the lead.

"In the meantime, we have to be wary of everything when it comes to the League. They're a danger to us now."

Toga nodded along already knowing this. She was glad that she had decided to tell Dabi. She wasn't alone in this. They weren't going to leave Deku hanging. They would help him crawl out of whatever pit he had managed to fall into, and the League would regret hurting her family.

Hey Guys!

I'm running out of ideas on wat to write in these author notes, but I was wondering if anyone had a name for the unworthy hero from the last chapter. Also we're getting close to the UA entrance exam!
