Chapter 11: Revelations
The Burrow
Albus Dumbledore stood in front the people gathered in the Weasley's home. It was a small space, but they had no choice. They would've used Grimmauld Place as usual, but not only does Harry know its location, but Sirius's will has made it so that he is to inherit the old Black house, so it's no longer an ideal hideout.
Not all Order members are there, like Charlie Weasley who is still working on recruiting international members, and others who have other priorities such as his brother Bill. Though most are able to make it. Harry's two best friends are here, alongside Ginny Weasley. They deserve to know what he has to say. His new recruit, Tsubasa Yoru is also here, as well as Enkidu, the Servant summoned to deal with the threat within Harry. Though he has a hunch that through them, their Masters, young Luna Lovegood and Yukari Sendo will be listening in.
Oh, good. Margaretha Zelle also made it. It was fortunate that he was able to receive the letter from her and told her their current location. Who knows what would've happened if she was left in the dark?
Order members are not the only ones present, as Amelia Bones, Head of the DMLE is there on behalf of the Ministry. She was actually asked to replaced Fudge as Minister a while back, but she refused, believing that she could do more in her current position. There's also a representative from the church, Shirou Kotomine, who Albus knew well, and he is one of the few who knows of priest's true nature.
Finally, there is one more guest who happened to be in town. The puppet master only known as Tohko, whose services she had given numerous times to Albus, with the right amount of payment. Her appearance here is no exception.
With everyone accounted for, Albus began. "Good day everyone. I hope you are all doing well." Hope is the Keyword there. Albus can clearly see that most of them look sullen, which he can't blame them for. "The past few days have been filled with great confusion and panic. So many unexpected things happened. A lot of people lost their lives, including some of our own." His audience grimaced at that reminder, but Albus pressed forward.
"First we shall talk about the most pressing matter. The disappearance of Harry Potter." Everyone's full attention is on him now, so he continued. "Not only that, but his… murder of not only Death Eaters, but our own members as well."
There are many different reactions to this. Molly looked away in disbelief. His best friends looked like they wanted to defend him, wanting to say that his actions weren't his own (Albus wants to believe that as well). Most of the newcomers, they looked genuinely surprised. The fact that Harry killed all those people in the Department of Mysteries is not known to the general public. Even with the confirmation that Voldemort has returned, his actions would only validate to many that he has indeed gone mad.
Amelia was the first to provide commentary. "I'm sorry, but he did what?"
Albus nodded sadly. "Unfortunately, it is true. It is he who committed that massacre after the Death Eaters have been apprehended. Remus Lupin can confirm that."
At the mention of his name, a miserable looking Remus spoke. "It's true, but I still don't understand. I don't even know how he did it. But it seemed as if something dark had taken over him. And that boy—"
Albus cuts him off before he can mention more. He doesn't particularly want to tell people about alternate universes right now. "Fortunately, we now have the answer for that. Mr. Eabani here," he gestured to the Chain of Heaven, and everyone turned to them, "is familiar with two of the other children who saw what happened, and have been told of what they have found out. Would you like to share those with us?"
Enkidu was silent for a moment, most likely being told what to do by their Masters, before nodding and standing up. "I will cut straight to the point. Harry Potter has been possessed by Angra Mainyu."
Mythology is something that for Wizards, similar to the Muggle world, has been dismissed as legends of old, though there are still a few Pagan followers out there. That being said, many are still shocked at Enkidu's assertion that an Old God of evil has possessed Harry. Some looked at the Servant in disbelief. Margaretha eyed Enkidu with a look of curiosity. Shirou Kotomine asked, "you mean as a Servant? That's impossible. The Holy Grail War has been dismantled decades ago." The priest looked at them with suspicion, no doubt having realized that they are a fellow Servant.
Enkidu shrugged and made up a quick lie. "Who knows? That is what Potter said, according to Ms. Sendo and Ms. Lovegood. Perhaps some mad man out there wanted to destroy the world and decided to summon a God of evil, who proved to be more than they could handle and was able to break free and latched on to the boy. Apparently, he had a very stressful year, so he would be susceptible to a being made by pure hate."
"Is there any other proof other than words?" demanded Amelia. "It's entirely possible that Potter is using that as an excuse to commit heinous deeds." Almost everyone in the room looked aghast at her and her statement, but Enkidu asked, "When you examined the Ministry after the attack, did you find hints of black mud in it?"
Amelia looked stunned for a moment. "Y-Yes. How did you know?"
"Those are the curses that made up Angra Mainyu. Once they are fully examined, I have no doubt your unspeakables will find traces of different curses and poisons in there."
"That still not proof enough," Amelia argued.
"It doesn't really matter," Kotomine chimed in. "Whether Mr. Potter is truly possessed by a Servant, or he simply went mad and gained powers based on an ancient deity does not matter right now. What matters are the actions that he did. I in particular, am wondering what he was doing at the ministry in the first place. What purpose did he and his friends have in the Department of Mysteries?" Ron, Hermione, and Ginny winced at the indirect mention of them.
(Elsewhere, Yukari did as well)
"Yes, I've been wondering about that too," Amelia turned to Albus, looking for an explanation.
"I believe I owe all of you an explanation, don't I?" Albus lets out a small chuckle. "It's time you all need to learn what it is that we are protecting from Voldemort, and what it entails for young Harry and Lord Voldemort." As expected, many gasped at the mention of the name, but still, they were listening. All of them are curious.
"The weapon that we have been keeping from Voldemort and his forces is a prophecy that could lead to his defeat. One that states that Harry is the one who will be able to kill him."
Everyone reacted with varying degrees of surprise, but two reacted with the most shock from everyone else.
"He's going to do what?!" exclaimed Molly and Margaretha in unison.
"Unfortunately, that is the case. Specifically, this is what the prophecy states:
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."
As Albus said this, he also used his legilimency to directly show his memories of finding out this prophecy to a few people who he believes would need it the most. Particularly, Amelia Bones, Shirou Kotomine, Hermione Granger, and Enkidu.
There was silence.
"Neither will live while the other survives," Margaretha repeated with a look of horror. "Does he have to follow this?" Her face fell even further when Albus nodded.
"So you people have been trespassing in the Ministry to protect this prophecy?" Amelia
"I hope you understand. With how the Ministry has been for the past year, we had to take matters into our own hands."
"Do you have any idea what this power is?" asked Kotomine.
"That, I have answer for. The power the dark lord knows not refers to the protection that his mother gave him when she sacrificed herself."
"Protection?"
Albus explained the protection that Lily gave Harry on that fateful day. How it activated an ancient magic that even Voldemort overlooked, that gave Harry's blood protection from Voldemort and his forces that prevents them from harming him.
"Is that why you left him with that horrible family for 15 years?" Lupin asked in disbelief, and Albus nodded.
"The protection could only be active if he lives with living relatives that shares Lily's blood. I had no choice but have him live with them."
"You could've left him with the right people. They could've protected him," Albus heard Margaretha mutter, and he sighed. He was aware people would've found this questionable. Even Minerva tried to convince him to reconsider.
Molly shook her head. "Dumbledore, please don't tell us that you plan for Harry to fight you-know-who? He's just as child!"
"Is there any way to make the prophecy null? Or are there any way to twist the rules?" spoke Tsubasa for the first time since they began. He, who is the second youngest of five siblings, along with a younger brother, would certainly be hesitant with the idea of having a child fight in the frontlines.
"It doesn't matter," said Albus sadly. "Voldemort believes in the prophecy, and Harry himself will fight Voldemort due to his crimes against him, especially now, if he really is consumed by anger and revenge."
"Yes, it is unfortunate that Potter's current situation doesn't invalidate anything from the prophecy," mused Enkidu. "Perhaps he's even more capable now. He can look for Voldemort, and strike him down when he least expects it."
Albus shook his head, deciding that now is the time for his other revelation. "I'm afraid it's not that easy. Voldemort has his own defenses that makes killing him complicated. Though for the moment, it's mainly just a suspicion, I believe that Voldemort made himself Horcruxes to gain immortality."
He was sure that no one in the room knew what a Horcrux was, as Albus did his best to hide this knowledge, though Tohko, who was smoking this entire time, did end up coughing in surprise. So, Dumbledore told them what he assumes Tom also learned many years ago, about the natures of a Horcrux. People were shocked to learn how it works, and how one splits one soul.
"Based on the memories that I have collected, I believe Voldemort created five Horcruxes before his fall, and a sixth one after his return. With evidence that I've gathered, I have reasons to believe that I know all six of them.
The only sound after that is Tohko's snickering. "Seriously? That's how he decided to gain immortality?"
"He is arrogant," said Albus. "Voldemort believes that no one would figure it out, though he was cautious enough to hide them so that no one can destroy them."
With no one else saying anything, Albus continued. "I believe three of the Horcruxes are lost artifacts from Hogwarts' founders. The fourth one, I have figured out the location, and the sixth and very first one that he made is already destroyed." Albus takes out a diary, the same one that took possession of young Ginny Weasley years ago, and opened the Chamber of Secrets. Said girl in question paled when she saw the diary again.
"Why didn't you tell any of us?" Remus questioned, and it is this moment that Albus has been dreading. He took one long breath and said," "It's because I wanted to tell this to Harry first. Actually, I wanted him to be the only one to know. because there was something else that happened when his parents were killed. When Voldemort was vanquished by his own spell, a piece of him split from his soul, and latched himself to the only living thing in the room." Based on the looks on everyone's faces, they quickly realized the implications.
"Wait, a piece of his— are you saying Harry is a Horcrux?!" Margaretha exclaimed.
"Though I believe whatever evil spirit that has possessed him has destroyed the soul in Harry's body, for a long time, it has latched on to him, giving him a connection to Voldemort and some of his abilities."
Amelia looked like she was realizing something. "You believed that you-know-who and Potter will fight each other by the end, and now that you're saying that as long as Potter is alive, he wouldn't die?"
"Mr. Dumbledore," said Enkidu, their face conveying a small hint of horror. "The Horcruxes have to be destroyed to, correct? Then does that mean…?"
As people began to realize the implication, Albus answered, "yes. Had the Horcrux still existed within Harry, Voldemort would have to kill him."
Once again, shock. Silence. Horror.
Albus quickly tried to ease their worries. "Fortunately, due to the protection, he would survive, especially since Voldemort used Harry's blood for his revival. I hoped the same protection that saved Harry all those years ago will also save him, killing only the Horcrux."
Most were relieved by this, but some looked skeptical. Amelia questioned him, "you couldn't have planned that. You couldn't have known that you-know-who will use Potter's blood, unless you knew his plans. Were you planning on having him die even if it didn't happen?
Most hoped that Albus would say that he somehow planned all this, but his silence and the guilt on his face says otherwise,
"N-No," Molly cried. "You wouldn't!"
"Dumbledore, why?" Remus asked tiredly.
Albus looked away in shame, though he was able to see Margaretha lounge at him with a knife.
She wasn't able to do anything, as she was stupefied by young Tsubasa, who was looking at Dumbledore with silent disappointment.
Prelati's Hideout, unknown location
Harry sat in silence as the new information that he gained. A prophecy that states that he is the only one who can kill Voldemort with an unknown power, which is the reason of all his suffering. These, Horcruxes. The only way that Voldemort could be killed. And he was one of them. And Dumbledore was planning to have him killed…
That Manipulative bastard! So that was all he was to him? Cattle to be sacrificed for the "greater good" or something? His ignoring of him makes sense now. He understands why he was left with the Dursleys for so long. So he can be submissive and cling to the first sign of salvation. He never should've put his faith on him. But he's awoken to the truth now, and he will make him pay dearly more than everybody else.
It's a shame he couldn't have made Assassin kill everyone in the room in one shot. But Ron was there. And so was Hermione, Ginny, Mrs. Weasley, Hagrid and Lupin. He can't kill them. They mean so much to him. Maybe he could convince them to join him. But it's possible that Dumbledore has brainwashed them along with the rest of the wizarding world to believe every word he said to him, and he doesn't know what he'll do when that happens.
At least someone is getting a kick out of this.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Prelati howled as she rolled on the floor while Harry, Roa, and Berserker watch. "That stupid idiot! Of all the ways he could achieve immortality, he had to go the path that would destroy his soul? Even Flamel had a better solution, and he was a walking skeleton by the time that he decided to die!"
Harry sighed. "Well, at least we have an idea now how to kill Voldemort. We only need to find those Horcrux things so Voldemort can die." His face then fell into a frown. "That will be a problem. We don't even know where to begin looking."
"Well, we can start with that locket hanging in your neck, then figure out the others later," suggested Prelati, pointing at said locket.
"Wait, what?" Harry said as his hand reached for the closest thing that he has for a memento from Sirius' home. "What does this locket have to do with anything."
"That's Salazar Slytherin's. I thought the snake-like S was a dead giveaway."
"You think this is a Horcrux?"
"Well, duh. Dumbledore said the Horcruxes are probably made out of artifacts from the founders of Hogwarts. The most popular from each founder are Gryffindor's sword, Ravenclaw's diadem, Hufflepuff's cup, and Slytherin's locket, which you have. So, we already have one Horcrux, maybe we can use it to find the others?"
Harry thinks about it. Not only is he not sure how it could be used that way, he has other plans. "Actually, I think I won't be looking for the Horcruxes, and I'll hold on to this."
Prelati looked at him in confusion, before her eyes widen and a smile formed on her face. "I see! You wanna keep him alive and play with him, right?"
"So you agree with me?"
"Of course! It will be so much fun, playing with him again! And yes, I'll play with him first, then I'll give him to you."
"Whatever you say," Harry shrugged. As long as he hurts Voldemort, he's happy.
"You two seem to be forgetting the prophecy," Roa interjected, though she does seem amused at the idea."
"Eh, you heard what Dumbledore said. I don't actually have to do it," said Harry in response. "All that matters is that Voldemort gets hurt."
"Oh, we're going to have so much fun!" Prelati cheered, and Harry smiled in agreement as he thought to himself, "Besides, once I'm done with my revenge, does it even matter if I'm still alive?"
With the now unconscious Margaretha laid to rest, the Order continued with their meeting.
Margaretha wasn't the only one angry at the headmaster, as almost everyone was giving him silent glare. Even Hagrid looked betrayed, much to Albus's sadness. He never wanted to hurt any of them.
Kotomine offered his opinion to defuse the situation. "It is unfortunate that things played out that way, but I really can't blame you. It is understandable that you have no choice. It's for the greater good after all."
People just looked at him in disbelief, while Albus winced, hearing his and Grindelwald's old motto used in this situation, but the priest was right. He never really changed, did he?
"I can find the Horcruxes," Enkidu suddenly declared as everyone turn their attention to them and gave them a questioning look. They turned to Dumbledore. "You said you know where one of them is. Just tell me where it is, and I can detect the rest from there."
"I have the ability to detect anything nearby, though it's weak. From people to objects. If I find one of the Horcruxes, I can use my ability to find anything that feels similar to it."
"Yes, that would be useful," Albus agreed. "I will tell you the location after our meeting, but now, let's talk about what we shall do with Harry."
Everyone looked like they agreed, one way or another, but Enkidu spoke once again. "We need to consider the idea that we may have to kill the boy."
It was an uncomfortable suggestion, but something that no one can deny should not be considered. There was one vocal disagreement though.
"What do you mean?!" Ron yelled in disbelief. "You said he's just possessed? We just need to save him from that, right?!"
"Do any of us even know how to remove Avenger from him?" Enkidu countered. "He's dangerous. More dangerous than Voldemort."
"But—"
"Please don't let your emotions cloud your judgement. If we're indecisive, it could cost us greatly."
Ron became furious. "That's our friend we're talking about! Didn't your friend die too? You should understand what we're going through right now!"
"Ron," Hermione tried to stop him, but he didn't listen.
Enkidu glared at the red head. "Don't you dare bring him up."
"Oh, yeah? Well maybe you just don't know the value of friends—"
And for the second time that day, someone flew off the handle in the Burrows, as Ron is pushed off a wall, being strangled by the Chain of Heavens.
"Watch what you say, mongrel," the green haired Servant growled in a low voice.
"Calm down!" Albus yelled, turning everyone's attention to him, which was fortunate as Molly looked like she was about to do what Tsubasa did to Margaretha earlier.
Broken off from their rage, Enkidu realized their actions, and dropped the young boy. Their expression returned to calm, and simply nodded, presumably to apologize.
"They're right though," said Amelia. "We have to consider that idea, but it wouldn't hurt to consider alternatives. I don't know about you lot, but I would rather not kill a 15-year-old boy.'
"It's unheard of, but I'd try to look if there's any way to exorcise a Servant," said Kotomine. "But if there isn't any other way…"
Albus slowly nodded. "Well, let us all hope for the best. Are there any other matters that you wish to speak of?"
Nitoh and Tsubasa's Hotel Room
Lying on the couch, Kai groaned. He's so bored! What with his older brother going off somewhere and Nitoh being busy, he can't leave the hotel without either of them accompanying him. He can't even play around with his new Magiphone because of that whole trace thing. Though It's nice that he finally has one like the rest of his siblings, he had to admit. Sure, it's only because of a war, but hey. That's what they call silver lining.
Staring at the Magiphone, Kai nearly slapped himself on the head as he realized something. Magiphone! He can call people with this! And then he groaned again. Most of his friends don't have phones, and those who do, he didn't get their number. Why does technology have to work badly with magic, and why does most of the population don't try to work around it? His parents were able to, and he heard a story about a flying car, though he's not sure if that's true.
Nitoh-Sensei is also in the room, preparing the things that he'll need for his next job interview. Despite this, in his boredom, Kai ended up asking him, "Nitoh? Do you know where my brither is?"
Despite everything else that he's doing, Nitoh entertained his question. "I don't know," he admitted. "He said he cannot tell anyone."
Kai thought that was suspicious. What kind of job requires him to be so secretive? Then his eyes widen."
"Oh god, please don't tell me he got involved in something shady!" What if he got himself mixed up with a gang? Okasan would kill him if he lets that happen!
Nitoh was surprised with the boy's assumption. "Wait, no! It's probably not that bad. Dumbledore himself gave him the job. It's probably super important or something."
Kai calmed down at that, "Oh, well that's a relief. Still, I wish I could know what he's doing. Without him here, I have nothing to do."
Nitoh looked at the boy in pity, and asked him, "hey, do you want to go out?"
Kai looked at the professor in surprise. "Are you sure? Aren't you busy right now?"
"Don't worry about it," Nitoh assured him. "I have lots of time. So, where do yo want to go?"
Kai thinks about it, still taken aback by Nitoh's offer. "Well, I think the park would be fun place to go."
Soon, the meeting has ended, and everyone went off their separate ways. Having gotten the information that they needed, Enkidu was about to go to the location of the Horcrux when they was approached by those three kids. The lone boy is still glaring at them, but they paid him no mind.
"What do you want?" he asked calmly but also impatiently.
"We want to help you," the brunette, they believe her name is Hermione, hesitatingly answered.
Enkidu sighed. "I don't need help. You'll only get in my way." There was no malice in their voice, but their stoic expression makes it hard to tell how they really feel.
"Please, like Ron said, Harry is our friend, at the very least we want to help you kill his enemy. Who knows? Maybe that will get to him."
"I seriously doubt it," said Enkidu.
"Not only that," the red-headed girl added. "For me at least, it's not just about Harry (though I really want to save him as well). In my first year in Hogwarts, I was possessed by the diary. It was very horrible, and I did so many terrible things. Even now, I still have nightmares about it."
"Ginny…" Ron said, looking at his younger sister sympathetically.
"I want to destroy them too, if that means you-know-who will be defeated. I want to help any way that I can."
Enkidu thought about it for a second, but argued, "I doubt your parents will approve."
"Actually, I think they should go with you," the voice of the Weasley matriarch said, to the surprise of all four as they chorused, "Mrs. Weasley?" "Mum?"
"I don't want them hunting with you," Mrs. Weasley clarified. "But I believe they can help."
Enkidu asked her, "Are you certain Mrs. Weasley? They could still be in danger either way." Unbeknownst to them, Enkidu's face then showed a hint of shame. "And I doubt you would let them near me after my um, little breakdown earlier. I apologize for that"
"Oh, I'm still mad about that," Mrs. Weasley admitted, giving them a stern look, and for some reason, Enkidu felt a chill run their nonexistent spine. "But I can also notice when my son is being a boneheaded idiot." Ron flushed red at the insult. "Either way, I understand you both, and I know these three won't stop until they save Harry. I want him saved too. I love that boy as much as I love my children"
Enkidu kept their serene expression through all that, but they once again considered it.
"Really mum? You'd let us go with them?" asked Ron hopefully.
"Yes, I would, but don't you two go looking for trouble, or I swear I'll drag you back here myself," she warned, and the two Weasley children nodded frantically.
"Fine," Enkidu relented, causing the three teens to perk up. "You can help me if you want. Go to our— I mean the Lovegoods' place."
The three run off to their Masters' direction. Before Enkidu can go on to their quest however, they felt Mrs. Weasley pull the sleeve of their tug.
"Please, try to find a way to save him," the woman begged. "I know you don't know him, but he's just a kid. He doesn't deserve any of this
They wouldn't lie that they can't fully understand where they're coming from when it comes to saving Potter. But even Enkidu cared for people when people questioned it. Maybe it's the same here.
"I'll see what I can do," Enkidu nodded. As they left, they heard Mrs. Weasley whisper, "thank you."
As Harry and the others talk about their plans, Assassin materialized in the room.
"Oh Assassin, you're here. We were just about to—"
He was interrupted when the dancer pulled Harry into an embrace, catching him of guard.
"Hey, what are you doing?" asked Harry awkwardly.
"You've been through so much," she said with warmth in her voice. "I'm sorry all of those horrible things happened to you."
"Er, it's not really your fault," a confused Harry assured her. Why is she suddenly so touchy?
"I know, but either way, you didn't have to go through all that. Pulling away, she gave him a loving smile. "Even though I'm just a useless Servant, I swear that I will be your loyal spy, and together, we'll bring justice to those who hurt you."
Harry was genuinely surprised by her words. "Mata Hari, you're not useless. You've been a great help to us all this time. You're the reason I'm finally free from my first Prison, and I'll be forever grateful for that."
It was her turn to be surprised by his compliments, and her smile grew brighter. "I'm just doing what I think is right. If it's for your happiness,
It was a strange feeling that All the Word's Evil is going through. This warmth and kindness, it reminded him of Mrs. Weasley. Though his heart still holds great hatred, for just a moment, Harry felt a small hint of love.
Harry returned the hug, and the two stayed that way for a while, ignoring Prelati's fake gagging noises.
Little Hangleton
Enkidu materialized in the house where Dumbledore told them one of the Horcruxes is. It's a good head start, seeing as how they would have to find four more of these, so they'll have to spend a good amount of their time searching Great Britain, maybe even the World, to find them all, as their odd summoning greatly reduced their Presence Detection skill.
Entering the old house, Enkidu looked around. So, this is where the so-called Dark Lord's origin began. Years of neglect definitely showed, what with the dust everywhere and wood that looks like it's about to go down any minute now. They're surprised (and very lucky) that this place is still around
With his Presence Detection, Enkidu was able to find the presence of a soul within the shack. From under the wooden floor, Enkidu found a ring decorated with a black stone. They also sensed something else within it. A curse that would kill anyone who wears it. Thank the Gods (and now that they think about it, curse them as well) that they sense that, since their death means that they're incredibly weak to curses. Dying through one again would've been very embarrassing.
Examining the rings physical futures, Enkidu found something carved on the stone. A triangle with a circle and vertical line on the center. It looked familiar…
Right! It's Mr. Lovegood's necklace. Maybe he knows something about the symbol. They're not sure how this could help with the Horcrux hunt, but any lead could help.
And so, Enkidu heads back to the Lovegoods' home, hoping to get some answers.
OMAKE: Teach Me Roa Sensei!
"Bonjour!"
"You know," Dark Sakura began. "Now that I think about it, there's a lot of immortals who shows up in this fic. Kinda misses the point of Harry Potter, don't you think? She left it unsaid that the whole immortality thing also reminds her of her "grandfather", which is what disturbs her the most.
"What do you mean?" Roa asked. "Harry Potter became immortal by the end of the books. Master of Death and all. The point of the books is that immortality will come to those who deserved it. Harry Potter defeated the once immortal Voldemort, and became immortal himself."
Sakura looked confused. "Um, no. Dumbledore explicitly said that's not what happened, and that becoming 'Master of Death' is to embrace mortality. Where did you even get that idea?"
"The numerous fanfics about it, obviously. With so many people drawing the same conclusion, there has to be some truth to it."
"And so is the idea that collecting them makes Harry Death's avatar and servant, or the idea that it doesn't do anything at all. Among other theories that many people share. Not all of them can be true at once, and none of them are even hinted at in canon, and if they are, they're disproven. Roa-San, read a frickin book," Sakura deadpanned.
"Whatever. Fuck the books. Immortality is awesome!"
Meanwhile, in another universe, a woman identical to Roa's current appearance felt a sudden bloodlust that she normally only feels when hunting down the vampire that destroyed her life, before shrugging it off and returning to her curry.
"Anyway, in speaking of death. Looks like we're dealing with the literal Goddess of the Underworld now. And we don't even know she exists. She's gonna be a tough one to deal with eh, Roa-San.
"Don't worry. While the other side is busy hoarding for new characters, we have taken our own steps to deal with everybody else. I'm not sure where this is going, but until then," Roa pointed towards the audience, "see you later till the next chapter: Echo of the Goddess!"
"Check it Out!" Sakura followed.
A/N: Merry Christmas!
