Aqua and Ven saw the sights of a desecrated temple. They found Settra before a familiar looking man, who wore a helm of three eyes, had a dangerous, red glowing sword and was on a throne of bone. "You seek to slay Nagash?" He ordered Settra. "Slay the Dragon Oger, known as Kholek Suneater! He has defied me for the last time!" The Tomb King, simply followed the trail of destruction, the keybearers wondered how a man with such an ego, fell so hard. The image flickered to a hall way and Aqua wanted to know. "That man with the sword, he feels familiar."
Ven recalled a familiar man on a hellish, three headed beast and felt his blood grow cold. "That's... Archaon, what was he doing in the World that Was?" Aqua felt a sudden spike of horror in her mind and shook it off. "Trying to do something... terrible, for what we can confirm, he is older than the Realms and came long before anything in recorded history for us. This is the guy who brought Xehanort out of the Darkness that he was cast into, and gotten really interested in Kingdom Hearts."
Ven folded his arms and was quickly realizing something. "And this is a recording of the End Times, Archaon had," he stopped for a moment and felt his voice box struggling to get the words out. "Something to do with what happened during that." His thought pattern stopped and Aqua agreed. "He did, but what we don't know is how the End Times happened and why was Archaon... trying to take advantage of that."
They reached the door at the end, stepped across it and saw a storm ravage forest and an intense battle occurring. A massive, draconic centaur in heavy armor and in lightning, smashing his hammer to crush a particular Tomb King that sprinted between his legs, cut into him and crawled from under to it's right. The Suneater roared. "Puny, King! You stand before a mountain!"
He sparked into a storm of lightning and swung his mace side ways, Settra jumped over the mace and found something of a strategy. The wind from the mace blew a storm cloud for the Keybearers to get away from, they ran for their lives and watched Kholek jump back to face Settra, causing an earthquake. Settra cut into Kholek again and baited him into smashing his hammer, the Tomb King jumped on the hammer and sprinted up the right arm, climbing unto the Suneater's neck and use his curved sword to cut the Dragon Ogre's neck, then again and again, until Kholek tried to shake him off. Setra jumped to the monsters beard and sank his blade in, cutting its throat and causing Kholek to thrash as he bled and collapsed.
The world gave a quake, such a giant monster met it's end from the smaller king with so much potential. The keybearers approached to see Settra not acting surprised at his accomplishment and beginning to sever the beasts head. They felt an aura of vengeance in the Tomb King's heart. With such an accomplishment, the Tomb King had certainly gained the favor of the Everchosen, the image changed. Becoming that of a city in flames, where Nagash used an army of undead minions that resembled non combatants to fight against the rampaging Warriors of Chaos and the daemons coming for him. Aqua was tempted to accept what she expected to come. "So Nagash chose to take his business to this place and still drag innocent people into the war against Chaos when things didn't go his way?"
Ven wasn't surprised anymore and as expected in the tale, Nagash heard a voice scream at him. "USURPER!" The keybearers looked on with the Necromancer and saw Settra with a burning vengeance in his eyes, Nagash was surprised. "You! Have you cast your lot in service to the Chaos gods now?!" Settra wasn't listening. "You've brought your nation to ruin, tainted the sands with your necromatic filth, pillaged the power of the gods, sought to destroy my kingdom and dared to suggest I serve you?!"
He leaped at Nagash, went completely off course and went after a sudden Bloodthirster that was after Nagash, Settra decapitated it in one blow and turned to the Necromancer, screaming. "NOBODY COMMANDS SETTRA!" He aimed his sword at the astonished Necromancer. "I will claim your skull and take back my people, young prince, but not before I silence those jackals for daring to say I serve! Settra does not serve!" He watched a horde of Chaos daemons taking notice of his words. "Settra, rules!" He sprinted to what is comparable to an apocalyptic inferno and held his own against the storm.
With that, the vision ended, Ven and Aqua were completely caught off guard by how Settra's story ended. Aqua was completely silent and Ven was amazed. "So this was Settra's journey after they offered him that deal? All that, so he would show them who is the true ruler?" Aqua agreed with the statement. "Nagash took everything from Settra and he was brought to his lowest, the Chaos gods offered him everything if he did what they wanted and in response he took the free offer of having his body back and fooled Archaon into thinking he would go along with his plans. Then, with Nagash right there, Settra dealt with the greater problem first before he would get his revenge. One heart... holds an ego so massive... yet... stayed uncorrupted."
Aqua felt a title ringing. "Settra the Imperishable, the Incorruptible, the King of Kings and the Egotistical who can prove he is all he speaks of." Then came sand and the light from the sun, they heard the sound of horse hooves, standing on top of a golden chariot, was an annoyed Settra. "Even as you witnessed my glory, you still seek to mock me?"
Aqua posed for battle and asked. "But it true. Everything we seen was pure pride, what ever you have accomplished prior to Nagash's arrival, you have earned. It is not the will of another, that one's heart follows. It is only your own, so how dare someone suggest that you would bend the knee, when you've taken what it is and made something great out of it?" She asked the king back. "So what's to stop me from speaking, what I think about you?"
That, earned Settra's respect. "You seek the impossible, yourself?" Ven nodded. "We're going to stop Archaon, we're going to get our friend back from this evil man who's ruined our lives and" his voice raised. "we're going to kick the Forces of Chaos out for bringing nothing but disaster to our worlds! But first, we need to take care of this looney who is distracting everyone from what's important. You're here, because that Looney wanted someone to challenge us and we're going to get past you, Settra."
The Tomb King, raised his blade to the sun, radiating along with it. "If that is so, then face me! The Bringer of Light!" The horses charged and Settra gave a battle cry, the keybearers nodded to each other, Aqua went to the far left and Ven went to the far right, the Chariot lit in the flames of the sun and was guided towards the woman who brought sass before it's master. Aqua sprouted the wings of a pheonix and leaped high, she followed with a rain of fire, Ven enveloped himself in divine light and glided towards the back of the Chariot.
Settra shrugged through the fire and turned around to casually parry Ven and was taken aback when the boy actually pushed him. The trading of blows felt rather intense, Ven sparkled and flipped the opposite direction of his usual swing, getting Settra on the shoulder. In response, Settra's curved sword glowed like the sun and he struck once more, Ven parried, felt a rather intense heat and blinded by the flash of light, he fell off the chariot and tried to see again. Aqua focused a healing spell that soothed the eye pain and dived down after Settra, setting off the flame and glowing with spectral power, attacking Settra from all around. To her surprise, the Tomb King was able to read onto some of her fast attacks and defend himself, the chariot curved towards a recovering Ven that saw what was coming and high jumped, he formed spectral blades all around him and dived down after Settra, catching him completely off guard with blades that were comparable to wings. With a strong blow, he knocked Settra off his Chariot and back flipped to sink the blades to the ground as a circle, dived into the middle and gave an odd pose with his hands facing upward. Light shined and follow it, blades of divine light homed in on the Tomb King, Settra braced for it.
BOOM!
In another flash of light, Ven and Aqua had the chance to keep a distance, as the light dimmed, Settra still stood with his blade protecting his face, he flipped his curved sword and gave a royal battle cry as he sprinted to them at alarming speeds for a skeleton. Ven and Aqua dodged the slash in a way that could be interpreted as a sync dance, Ven waltzed in front of Aqua and blew wind to the heavens, the keyblade master in turn, spun with crystal power and had it ascend with the wind.
A cloud blocked out the sky and shined in blue heavenly light. Settra knew an attack was coming and kept guard of it and the two, crystal rain pelted from above, with drops larger than knives. The Tomb King refused to accept defeat and tried to attack, the crystals homed in on him and pelted him like arrows, one hit Settra in the back of the chest, another on his shoulder and finally, one in the back of his head, causing him to collapse to the barrage. The light shined to the victory of battle and the two found themselves back in the End of Time. A golden card appeared in place of Settra, Aqua went to pick it up and saw the image of the Imperishable, standing proudly over the sands of his kingdom and commanding his conquest. The Keyblade Master felt a surge of pride in her heart, put the card close to her chest and closed her eyes, thinking about the World that Was.
The familiar voice of a Prophet, arrived to break the silence. "To think, there has ever been such a Heart as determined as he." Aqua opened her eyes to have a look in the room and found a path leading towards what looked like a golden sphere and asked the Man. "Where did his pride come from?"
The Prophet laughed amused. "Is it not obvious? Settra has accomplished much to see his kingdom prosper like none that came before and made the whole desert his. Seeing himself as an equal to his gods and revered them as such. Yet, there was but one threat to his dream of glory."
Ven knew what that was. "Where was it going to go when his time came? For who else could do a better job of being king than he could?" The Prophet answered. "No one, so he sought to make himself immortal, for there was much left to rule and it would have been a waste to let it all fade into history. That failed and Nagash's necrotic actions have caused even he to wrestle from Death, he sought to reclaim it all again." The toned turned condescending. "Foolish, but admirable at the same time."
Aqua agreed with that and put the card away. "But then, the End Times came and unmade it all. What happened?!" The Prophet stepped aside with a disgusted scowl. "Pride is one thing, if you can prove yourself. But when you are but an entitled brat who cannot be what you seek, there becomes no further low than mindless treachery."
Ven exhaled. "Someone got stupid when the world did NOT need it and that was how the End Times happened?" The Prophet wanted to scream to that, Aqua felt the anger and insist. "That was what happened, but what else do you have to tell us before we see this for ourselves?"
The Prophet took a deep breath and screamed. "That someone only thought of himself when he went to the center of the world and handed it all over to the Chaos gods. Why have those fools not killed him when they had the chance?!" He barked. "They could have had a slightest chance if it wasn't for Mannfred!" He exhaled and almost collapsed, Ven went to help him stand, much to the Prophet's stubborn attempt to keep himself strong. "Easy," The Prophet regained his breath and pulled himself away from Ven, not wanting his help. "If I wanted you to care about that, I'd ask."
Ven tensed as Aqua signaled that the Prophet calms down. "You've seen people work together to defy the odds and seeing someone who did... what Mannfred did, was a breaking point to all the tragedy that happened in the World That Was?"
The Prophet wanted to leave, saw Ven standing in his way and gave in to a confession. "I've had experience with those who've wished to make the future change. Once upon a time, they forsook revenge upon an evil man and together, vanquished a thing that saw them as nothing but cattle." Aqua was not fooled by the story. "That man was you because it just so happened, you wanted that thing gone as well. But together, you made that happen. Who are you?"
The Prophet relaxed himself and laughed. "Ha! Do you really wish to know?" Ven nodded. "Yeah, tell us and get it over with, if your so big on the past, then maybe someone might have heard of you."
The Prophet simply undid his hood and revealed a pale head, with white hair, red eyes and pointed elf like ears. "You've never heard of me at any point in your life and have no way of knowing. Hmm. You can try to remember this, Magus."
Aqua cringed and realized. "You're right, we don't know of you! But I can guess time travel was how you got stuck in this job in the first place and it came with the ability to read the past like an ever lasting book." She had Ven step aside, Magus smugly put his hood back on. "Precisely and that tale is none of your business."
He took out his scythe and directed it to the door. "Go and witness what has happened, learn from it and make history your own." Ven grumbled in defeat and lead the way in. "Come on, our friends should be heading to the End Times as well." Aqua readied to follow and turned to Magus with a smugger smile. "We've couldn't have figured most of this out without you, Magus. You'll tell the others to say thanks." That caused Magus to cringe from the attempt of gratitude, Aqua took off to see what befell the World That Was.
In a dark forest.
Sora and the crew made swift work of a pack of beastmen and found themselves upon a caravan being escorted by a group of armored nuns that gave Riku some vibes of someone he knows, they approached along side a curious, red haired knight in silver armor. The man caught them completely by surprise, one of the sisters drew a morning star and barked. "Who goes there?" The knight quickly leaned to her. "Sir Diederick, Knight of Order of the Twin Tailed orb. Sister of Sigmar." The nun felt the knight checked out and lowered her weapon. "Ah, a templar! It is a good omen for you to come." She turned to the caravan. "We're transporting a tomb to the Cathedral in Altdorf. We could use an extra sword for this, we suspect the Blades of Chaos to be stalking these woods."
Diederick vowed rather devotedly. "So long as I draw breath, no heretic will trend these woods for long." With that vow, the crew followed the caravan and kept a close watch, it took what felt like an hour before something stirred in the trees. Goofy heard hoof prints. "Fellas, we got trouble coming." The crew drew their weapons and felt the stirring getting worse, the caravan halted and prepared themselves. Rustle! Rustle! Rush!
Out of the forest came a twenty man group of black armored warriors with cloaks of fur, shields with the insignia of Chaos and a variety of weapons, it wasn't until they were seen that they gave a battle cry, the more elite looking knight ordered. "Slay then all and take what is inside!" Diederick turned to the elite knight, took his sword and charged after him with matching ferocity, Ken took his spear and flung himself to one duo of warriors, Riku leaped high in the air and dived down at another two and Sora blitz at three. Goofy shield bashed two as Donald called thunder from the sky upon the band. The rest of the caravan fought tooth and nail against the Warriors of Chaos, Sora made short work of the three and found five horses sprinting out, with sinister looking knights, he gave a faint glow, summoned Oathkeeper along side Oblivion and flown to the knights to do combat, mighty as they were, they did not last long before being obliterated by light.
Diederick quickly thrust his blade into the Champion of Chaos for a kill and rushed to the next Warrior, picking each one off one by one in quick speeds. Riku noticed that as he split his weapon in two and carved into the Warriors for his own kill and went to the ones Goofy had distracted, Ken flipped Cadia's Light in flames and went to the warriors that were being pelted by ice, stabbing one warrior in the chest, causing him to spark in flames and hurling him to the other, like a bomb. With the final kill, the caravan regrouped, tended to the dead and wounded and carried on, reaching a nearby town.
The illusion faded to the strange town at The End of Time and showed a caravan cart with a tome. He saw his friends confused about the ordeal and asked. "So, this is going to show us what that was about?" Ken guessed. "Diederick is the odd one out, he showed up to escort those nuns while they do their work for Sigmar."
Sora nodded. "Pretty devoted like the rest of them, he's pretty strong." Goofy agreed with that and had a pretty serious tone. "But this place doesn't show stuff like that out of coincidence." Sora and Donald were surprised by Goofy being serious, the duck tapped his foot. "The Warriors of Chaos also look like the Varanguard."
Riku agreed with that. "And it checks out that our enemies from the realms have more Warriors of Chaos at their disposal, to be the expendable where the elite can go killing what is important. They've gave those nuns trouble and if it isn't for the fact that we're all pretty strong now, I'd say they would catch a rookie keybearer off guard."
Sora remembered another detail to consider. "These are the guys Ana's been made to fight against too. If it took a Stormcast to keep up with them in a straight fight," Riku nodded and approached the tome. "So you either need to fight fire with fire or fight them in ways that requires some thinking, less they tear you apart." He took the book and had initial difficulty reading it. "What the heck is this gibberish?"
Sora approached with Jiminy ready. "How bad is it?"
Riku presented Sora with the page of riddle like phrases, like a smart alec that dared a dim wit to make any sense of this. Jiminy read it out loud. "Forged from the other world, six treasures shall he possess. Upon his head the crown shall see all, and open eye will prove woe to mortal kind. Then shall he ride unto the world. Here will four be united into one. And five shall be the armies of doom. Then will the world know that the last war has begun. With the coming of doom will march a lowly boy. Anger shall be his nourishment and blood his wine. And from the land tamed will rise a champion. Disease shall be his downfall and savior divine. A king's son shall be the chosen. In power will he thrive and glory in his name. And with the coming of the End Times, the old will fall by the hand of the new." He shook a bit, his hat nearly fell off. "Well, that isn't something you should be telling to anyone.
Riku agreed. "It isn't, a crown that sees all? Four... united into one." He blinded. "Four united into one, is this talking about the Chaos gods?" Ken gasped, looked at the caravan. "That was what those Chaos guys were after?!" Riku responded back with a shiver. "It checks out, who do we know that wears a crown that has a special eye?"
Sora had the immediate image of Archaon, tried to say the name and felt not a word leaving his lips, Riku saw that and answered for him. "Exactly. This is a doomsday prophecy. Where someone from two worlds... and since this is the World that Was, could mean either the world we think as OR just from two parts of the world that could be separate places."
Jiminy scratched the side of his head. "Like different cultures, intermingling?" Riku cringed. "Yeah, but we're talking about Sigmar's people and a tribesman of Chaos, there is no way they would do that willingly." He stopped at the word, realize what he said and Sora asked naively. "So... they didn't and since those Chaos wackos want this to happen-" Riku stopped him. "They forced it to happen, let's not get into the details."
The rest of the crew had little idea what Riku was talking about, the leader of the group asked. "Since Diederick has that kind of fight in his blood, I say he have had the blood of... those two worlds in his veins."
Donald noticed a door going further in and saw a room with in. "And he let this tome get to the church, where someone would study this?" Riku put the book down and guessed. "And that is when Sigmar's devoted studied this and gotten suspicious about something. Since the next room doesn't seem to have any tricks, I say we look."
The crew thought it was a good idea, Sora lead in and was the first to find thirteen statues, many of which are crumbled away, save for five in particular and even one of them looked to have been twisted into something vaguely demonic. Jiminy jumped off of Sora and read the plaque of what looked like a fierce warrior of Chaos in familiar looking armor and wielding a sword and an axe. He read out loud. "Morkar: The first of the Everchosen and the Uniter. The first Champion of Chaos who have united the tribes of the North towards conquering the worlds in the name of Chaos. He was bested in battle against the uniter of the Empire's of Men, Sigmar."
Sora asked out loud. "Everchosen?! You're saying Archaon wasn't the first?" Riku nodded. "Checks out given how Abaddon succeeded the big guy who kicked our butts. Morkar definitely wasn't the first time the Chaos Gods sought to take over the World That Was."
He turned to the statue of another champion of chaos, one raising a sword that make the oldest boy cringe in terror. He looked down at the title. "Vangel: It was he who bounded the greater daemon, U'zuhl into the sword that became the Slayer of Kings. Was killed in a fight against a Dwarf Lord named Gromrir Goldfist." He asked out loud. "The Slayer of Kings?! Is that one of the artifacts of Chaos?" Donald guessed. "Sounds like it-" then he recognized the Slayer of Kings. "Wrarararak!"
Sora shook Donald out of the panic as Riku helped process the thought. "That's the sword Archaon has with him all the time." He went to the crumbled, demonic plague and read it. "And apparently, the Everchosen doesn't become that alone. Be'lakor, aka that black daemon that's been bothering us, has a hand in coronating that Champion into this, he... didn't like that and tried to get involved with one of them before one of Everchosen broke down."
Sora gasped. "He's been around that long?" Ken read the plaque of a hellish knight with a demonic sword and an axe. "And he and the Chaos gods have been going at the World That Was for even longer. While some of these Everchosen gotten knocked down, some of them gotten to the rest of the world and raised it to the ground. Kul came close to doing so thoroughly and he is number... twelve."
He swallowed as Goofy had a look at the center most statue, of a knight in a helm of three eyes, on the back of a burning horse, wielding the Slayer of Kings and having armor that looks a lot like Morkars, while looking a little less demonic, he recognized the statue. "And this was number thirteen. Archaon." Riku realized he was right on his guess. "The final Ever...chosen." He realized he's been talking a lot more than he should and asked. "Diederick... personally carried that prophecy to those guys and he was one of the many who... was born from the north and the south. So his order must have taken this to him again."
Sora noticed the next door, oddly closed. "Did those guys really suspect him to turn on them? He looked like he would sooner be fighting Chaos than joining them." Ken dismissed that notion and approached the door. "Were those people are paranoid as the Imperium? Come on guys, people don't just turn on you the instant you shown to be different from them." His hand was at the door. "We all got our choice." He opened the door, look inside and dropped his keyblade in shock once he saw, his mouth was frozen in place. Sora realized Ken seen something he rather not see in his life and checked with him, he was left just as speechless, Diederick was hanging by a tree, with rope around his neck and dangling.
The spiky haired boy wanted to close the door, the rest of the crew wanted to know what made Sora of all people that horrified and saw the suicide, Jiminy noticed a faint finger of shadows reaching the noose. Slash! The rope cut and Diederick fell to the ground, coughing and eventually cursing. Riku quietly closed the door, tried to say something, stopped and went back to saying it. "Apparently Diederick read the prophecy and found out he checked out on some of it. Since he's made himself an enemy of the Warriors of Chaos that wanted the tome, they might have gotten ideas. But someone who knew more of the prophecy, didn't want Diederick to die."
He noticed a door to a cathedral, opening. Sora felt his words returning. "He thought he was going to be the Everchosen and got scared?" Goofy patted Sora on the back as Donald tugged Ken out of his trance, the one armed boy picked his blade up and saw the cathedral. "So... he went to the few people who were able to help him?"
Riku nodded and lead the way, he licked his lips to something pretty obvious and asked. "So guys, no matter we end up seeing, what ever we do after... is natural." Donald picked up Jiminy and asked. "Are you scared of this?" Riku slowed his breathing. "Are you all? Because if Diederick and Archaon are one and the same, what we are going to see is going to be some heavy stuff."
Sora grumbled and pushed through. "Come on guys, we've dealt with this kind of stuff before." Riku rolled his eyes. "Alright, don't say I didn't warn you."
The group entered a cathedral and found a statue of Sigmar, before it, was Diederick praying. "God King, I've carried out your will through out my whole life and I ask, what is my fate?" He asked. "Am I truly forsaken? You're devoted, hounded me ever since I came here that day." The statue, grew silent and the doors began to bang, Diederick found the silence as an ill omen and was begging his god for an answer. The onlookers looked to each other, like something didn't connect, Goofy asked. "Where did Sigmar go?" The others shrugged and the banging became more intense, someone was coming for Diederick.
Bang! Bang! Crash!
From the door ways, came, knights of the church, one of them shouted. "There he is! Men, we shall put an end to the prophecy here!" In an instinct, Diederick got up with despair in his eyes and a fury of denial, the knights charged at him with weapons and he repaid in kind, with a shout of anger he charged after the knights and began slaying them enmasse.
Ken wanted to admit to the group that they were right about the church turning on Diederick at the notice of a prophecy and was stopped when Diederick's rage continued in the slaughter. Bodies and blood stained the cathedral, until the leader of the knights was crippled by a blunt of a blade to the knees, Diederick grabbed the grand Theogonist by the hand and was slowly crushing his fingers. "So you've came here to kill me?! Why?! Why do you believe me to be the Everchosen?! After everything, I have done!"
The Theogonist refused to talk, Diederick focused on a finger and broke it with a snap. The Theogonist screamed. Snap! "AAAAH!" Diederick screamed back. "There are countless knights that have fallen so willingly, so many norscan borne bastards that swore themselves to the Empire! So why do you believe it to be me?!" SNAP!
The Theogonist couldn't take the pain anymore and shouted. "We don't know! We only know that.. that-" Diederick focused on the fourth finger and the interrogated whimpered. "That the True Everchosen, was prophesied to come here! That's all we know."
That caused Diederick's angered face to turn eerily stoic, he hurled the Theogonist at the statue. "Impossible!" He slowed his breathing. "Is this why I'm forsaken?!" He glared at the statue of Sigmar. "Is this why you grow still when your people need you?!" The Theogonist laughed to him. "Ha, ha, ha. So now, you're true nature is revealed? Once you lose the favor of the gods, you bark like a rabid dog."
Diederick asked back sharply. "And yet, the gods of the north reward their champions with nothing but meat?! The ones who brought me into this world!" He gasped. "This was why I was abaddoned?!" He readied to smash the statue. "This is all fraud! All of it! A bunch of charlatans that pretended to care for their people, they only seek praise." He took the Theogonist's hammer and smashed the statue. "Nothing more than what the gods of the north demand!" He vowed. "I will make them all pay for this!"
Then he heard the sound of the church being fired upon, the Theogonist smugly spit to him. "You will go nowhere, Archaon! We will bring this whole Church to rubble if it would stop-" Diederick put his foot on the Theogonist's head and stomped his skull into paste in a fit of vengeful rage, Goofy stood in the line of sight and used his shield as a way for his friends to try and look away from this, Donald certainly took the offer and Ken was looking visibly sick. Then came the sound of a battle cry. "Slay them in the name of the gods!" And along with it, the sound of horses and of a swift slaughter. The doors opened and the blood stained, Warriors of Chaos, arrived, one of them called to Diederick. "There you are, the weak men of the south will not hunt you again." The Everchosen glared at the warriors of Chaos, with a bitter hatred and marched to them. "One day, I will raise this empire to the ground and tear the idols down."
The story, ended and revealed the town with a statue of Diederick and six doors, five are locked, yet one to the left, was open. Riku swallowed the knowledge in and looked to his speechless friends, Ken insisted on going ahead to the door way and was stopped by Sora. The spiky haired boy asked. "So Diederick never had much of a choice?"
Riku shook his head. "Nope, he didn't and he wanted to get back at the Chaos gods for forcing him down this road, at Sigmar for being still on him when he needed him and to the Empire itself for turning on him once they heard of that prophecy. The brighter the light, the deeper the darkness." Jiminy written down on his journal. "And when Diederick fell, he became Archaon."
Riku nodded. "The same one who we are fighting now." Ken held off from something and opened the door. "So... what does he want with us in the first place?" The crew did not want to answer that and followed the boy to a room of absolute darkness, Diederick was on the back of his horse, with the Warriors of Chaos following him with a torch. The torch went out and the man journeyed alone with his steed, something pounced on the two from the darkness, faint hints of unsightly, misshapen monsters, were seen. Diederick was thrown off and watched as his horse was eaten alive, the death neighs stirred something in the man and set him off on a murder frenzy. Roaring in ungodly rage and ripping the monsters apart.
He fought his way to an a broken alter, took some time to reconstruct it and used the hearts of the monsters as an offering. The alter glowed in the symbol of Chaos and burned something upon Diederick's forehead, the burning mark of Chaos Undivided. The temple faded into a simple closet, with a scroll. Ken picked it up and saw the sketch of that mark. "The Burning Mark of Chaos Eternal. Upon paying tribute to the Altar of Ultimate Darkness." He and Riku shared and awkward glance to each other at the name, then went back to the story. "Archaon proved himself worthy of bearing the mark which grants him the blessings of the four gods and the First of the Six artifacts." He added in. "Apparently, he cared about that horse too, so it's one more thing that the Chaos gods took from him."
Sora wasn't amused by it either. "We get it, they've kept twisting his heart until he feels nothing but hatred for them." Riku picked up on another concept. "So that hatred was the reason Archaon went to Olympus to go to town on the gods. He has nothing but spite towards anyone calling themselves a god." They stepped out of the room and heard another door open. The one to their side, they entered it and found Archaon doing battle against the animated set of armor, the Armor of Morkar.
It was very much a one sided fight, with the Armor bashing Archaon across the tomb with a mace and beating him with an inch of his life, Archaon growled and cursed to the armor. "'brinnan utva lioht." The curse, caused the armor to stop in shock, Archaon took it as his chance to take a hammer and bash the spirit into submission, knocking it out of the armor and claiming it for his own. Like the last room, the image faded and a scroll appeared, Riku took it and read out loud. "and so with the dead tongue of the Unberogens, the birth tribe of Sigmar, Archaon cursed the spirit of Morkar and vanquished him from his armor. With it, he is invulnerable to all but the most powerful of blows." He wanted to curse the luck he and his friends have and turned to show the sketch of the armor. "That's why we couldn't do anything to him." He noticed the statue of Diedrick changing, donning the armor of Morkar and was spooked.
The next room was something more simple, Archaon confronting, three headed dragon with a horde of treasure, one in particular was an orange eye shaped gem. The Everchosen smashed his axe to the dragons face and for his trouble, was in an uphill battle that ended with him being swallowed whole, in a few moments, the dragon felt something tearing at his throat, Archaon cutting his way out like a ferocious animal. The dragon was effectively killed and the Everchosen laid claim to the eye gem. It was a rinse and repeat, Sora took his turn with the scroll, showing the eye gem. "The eye of Sheerian. Since we seen what happened, I'll tell you what it does." He closed his eyes and read it to pronounce the ability. "It grants the bearer the power of prophecy." He tried to think hard about it. "Since a prophecy is about what comes in the future, that means this lets you see... the future." He realized that was how Archaon was able to dodge some of his strongest attacks and one of the reasons why if Garland didn't show up out of nowhere, the Everchosen could have easily killed him and friends. "Just how tough is this guy?!"
Goofy had his turn to find another door to open. "A lot more than we thought he was, if I don't know any better, I say we need a lot more than what we got now to stand a chance." With him leading in, they found themselves in a hellish stable, with every hellish beast imaginable and those not in the imagination, bursting from one stable, was a giant hellish lobster like monster, with Archaon on it's back. It burst in flames and turned into a spiked boar, then into dinosaur with a serpentine neck, then into a four headed wolf, until finally it turned into a fiery hellhorse. It thrashed in each form to try to shake Archaon off, eventually it gave up and the Everchosen had it ride him out of the hell pit. He realized one thing as the scroll appeared. "That's how he got that there, flying thing." He took the scroll and read it. "Gwarsh. It's name is Dorghar, the Steed of the Apocalypse." Ken tilted his head and saw the statue of Diederick become that of an armored man on top of the hell horse. "If you guys are the ones having trouble with him... then that's not a good sign. Not a good one at all."
He almost felt a question in his mind rear out and Donald went to the second to last door. "Do... we want to ask what we've been thinking?" Ken's eyes widened and Riku advised. "Maybe, after we seen all this, I think we know what is going on." In the second to last door, they found Archaon and a fiendish beastman climbing up a mountain, where they stood before a sleeping, giant dragon monster, clasped on it's chest was the Slayer of Kings. The beastman lifted guarding talon with all his strength, giving his master the chance to get the blade, the Slayer of Kings ROARED in a shriek and stirred the dragon monster. Archaon flinched to what was going to be his doom, thought of something and used the blade to stab his companion in the back, calming the blade down with what was apparently royal blood. He left the dead companion and descended down the mountain to a cheering crowd. The scene faded and Donald took the scroll to read it. "That sword's name is literal. If it connects to any of us-" he swallowed nervously and Sora felt it was mutual.
Riku felt he seen enough, looked upon the statue being more complete and went to the last door, with words written on it. "After years of searching, the Everchosen had found all the artifacts, save for one, which was more hidden than any of them combined. The Crown of Domination, with it and the eye, he would strike terror into the hearts of his foes and inspire the Slaves to Darkness to follow him to ruin." He tapped the number of years it took for Archaon to find the crown. "He's been looking for that for half a century." He tried to open the door and it didn't budge, he turned to his friends and found that they were in an icy mountain. Where Archaon gave a certain black Daemon a hateful glare and followed him. Riku was shocked, saw his crew looking upon something and turned around to find an icy peak of the mountains and a two gated entry to a shrine of chaos, there was a scroll for him to read as he pushed the gate open. "So, after years of searching, he found someone, tasked by the gods to guide him what would make his destiny. One final test at the First Shrine of Chaos."
He passed through the gate and was the first to have visions of what the trials were, an ever changing labyrinth of Tzeentch, of a man getting past the labyrinth, only to have his flesh melt away in puss and crawl to the next room and tempting whispers of dark poison. With a simply blink, he found himself in a large room of hellfire, with a bloodthirster getting strangled to death by his own whip. Archaon was on the back of the daemon, the crew were both amazed and horrified, with a flicker of darkness, came a room with a simple shrine, Archaon held a horned helmet with three eye sockets.
The crew approached the Everchosen and watched the scene become a ceremony, Be'lakor coronating the Everchosen with the Crown of Domination, it's third eye socket, filled with the gem. It was at that moment, the crew felt the last spec of humanity with in Archaon, die. From then, did they find themselves in the twisted, frozen wastes, Archaon was upon his hellish steed and glared down at them, he roared rallying cry with a deep voice. "Let us not seek reward. Let us not ask for power. Let us not wait for that which is given. Let us take what is ours." Dorghar stomped and let loose a burst of fire as the Everchosen continued. "Darkness is our. Ruin is our! The world turns beneath our feet for the taking!" The crew readied for battle, surprisingly more than determined to take down the Everchosen, who lowered his sword in a guard. "Real power resides, not with gods or any following, but with those who take it from them. I am Archaon, doom to my enemies, doom to all of the world, doom to the gods that are invested in them." Dorghar gave a nightmarish neigh and charged, the Everchosen screamed. "You're nations will fall!"
It was from that, the crew split into two parties, Sora and Riku took the right while the others took the left, Archaon sharply glared at the older boys and swipped his sword to unleashed a twister of fire, the boys flowed behind the Everchosen to avoid the heat as Ken focused, flipped Cadia's Light and summoned a ring of beams. He used both hands and fired a combined beam, Archaon was slightly pushed by the shot, clearly burning around his body and had Dorghar sprint to him. Goofy tried to shield bash the nightmare, was at the Everchosen's personal and was swatted away by the Slayer of Kings, Donald was scared stiff, was grabbed by the back of his shirt by Ken and dragged away from that. Conveniently giving Sora and Riku the chance to get into melee, doing flea bites worth of damage and causing Dorghar to turn towards them for a bite. Archaon shield blocked Riku and slashed the Slayer of Kings at Sora, the spiky haired boy attempted to parry the blow, was shoved and the Everchosen slashed again, in an upwards manner, sending him flying and leaving Riku to deal with the blunt. The oldest boy jumped high and dived down in morning light, it punctured Archaon's armor and made him yell, yet the boy was met with a shield bash to the face that knocked him on his back.
Ken and Donald focused a spell with in the earth, the one armed boy stabbed the ground and caused an seven pointed eruption, consuming Archaon in lava and giving Donald time to heal Goofy. They saw something pushing against the lava and Ken twisted his wrist. "Oh no, you don't." A mega eruption engulfed the struggling Everchosen, Goofy regained consciousness and saw it as his chance for him and Donald to get to a dazed Sora, who saw the explosion and is realizing. "If that doesn't do anything..." Riku got up and backed away as Ken was getting ready to run. SPLASH! Dorghar and Archaon rushed out of the pillar of lava that died down and was coming for the one armed boys soul. "YOU WILL FALL!"
Ken used his air magic and flung himself to the far north of the arena, unaware that Archaon fired a blue bolt back, the boy felt the strange power, turned and spun his blades to deflect that. POW! He was sent flying to a rock from the impact, Sora summoned Oathkeeper with Oblivion, gave a battle cry and flung himself to Archaon, who had Dorghar side step the charge attack, the boy and the Everchosen locked blades as Riku split Way to Dawn in two and sprinted after the foe. Unleashing as much light and dark power as they could.
They actually cut into the Everchosen and made him force his steed to back away, Archaon's sword sparked in nightmarish power and he screamed as he had Dorghar charge back in. The boy jumped to the right as one and caused a spacial rift to open, stars rained down, the Everchosen pushed through and attacked with the speed and ferocity unlike any natural swordsman. With the boys realizing their form change will eventually wear off, they tried once more to build up a combo, Sora was shield bashed away and Riku had to deal with the Slayer of Kings by himself. Sora saw in a brief moment, a door being forced open and a light of safety, he flipped on his legs as Riku narrow dodged a sword to his neck, the spiky haired boy swallowed his pride, felt his double wear off and saw Riku's form change wear off. He raised his blade in the air and shout. "Stop!"
PEW!
Archaon and Dorghar froze in place, Riku found it as his chance to get away for another attack and was held by the shoulder, Sora warned him. "We can't win this." Riku gritted his teeth and turned to him. "So what are we going to do?" Sora directed his eyes to the gate and tilted his head, showing Riku the doorway out. Goofy and Donald caught up, saw the head tilted direction to something and turned to the door of light.
The silver haired teenager almost prayed to to divine a thank you and yelled out a Ken that was limping and was trying to charge up a spell. "We got a way out of this! Do you see it?"
Ken saw it, gasped and looked to the Everchosen that was breaking out of the stop spell. "Yeah and we need to move." He swiped at the crew and towards the direction of the door, on instinct, the crew started running and felt a tail wind pushing them. Archaon saw that, glared at Ken and caused a brief moment where the boy saw the gates of Hell. "Pathetic worms!" Ken glowed in fire and directed himself to the door. "Nope! We're not staying."
He flung himself to the exit with the boys and Donald turned around to see Dorghar sprinted at them. He used his own burst of air magic to pick up the speed, they reached past the door and found it opened from their side, Sora grabbed the door and felt a little satisfaction as Archaon yelled. "This isn't over, if this is the best you got, then your world is doomed!"
The boy felt those words sting and slammed it. "Don't remind me!"
SLAM!
The door flickered away, Donald and Goofy felt their adrenaline ware off and nearly fell over, Riku was realizing the illusion of Archaon had a point and was trying to find out what to say, it came out as gibberish and he noticed a certain blonde girl in a white dress, sitting on a ledge with a strange, green chameleon. Namine waved hello. "Hey boys,"
Sora and Ken turned to the voice of their savior, saw Namine and fell on their knees, something in Sora urged him to crawl to her and he followed it. Namine was a little astonished and saw Roxas pressing his hands together and kneeling in thanks, like an angel came to bail him out of damnation. She suggested to both halves. "Calm down, this isn't the worse you got to get through."
Sora gasped and asked. "How is that not the worst?" He quickly remembered Archaons words and the fact that the real one is out there, he fell on his butt in that memory. "How are we going to stop Archaon like this?!" Namine shrugged with a cringe, Jiminy jumped off and addressed the big issue. "We're going to have to stop him, what he has planned is absolute lunacy." Riku connected the pieces of the puzzle. "He hates the gods, talks a lot about the sure way to kill them off and anyone who followed them and has the power to do it. If the World that Was has endured the End Times, then that meant..." he repeated. "that meant..." his eyes widened and he fell on his rear, Namine helped him finished. "He succeeded, how it was done, is yet to be seen. But we know what he can do, unless you can match his power and take what he has to give, none of you stand a chance, the people of the World That Was, stood even less of a chance."
Riku knew that, but it wasn't what he was concerned about. The fact that Archaon became partners with Xehanort, has already mustered an army for a more serious invasion, lead to the next piece. "The only reason Archaon hasn't started killing us yet is because he wants something first and Xehanort convinced him that most of us need to be kept alive, at least until we can get picked off one by one."
Sora was the next to put together what the Everchosen wants. "So he can get to Kingdom Hearts and used the Heart of the Worlds for..." he stopped as Ken listened to that and was the next to process the rest. Such a divine power, worshiped and coveted, is something Archaon definitely despises, and it is something he could use in his war against the realms. His eyes widened to what the end goal was, the crew sensed the grandest terror of all and looked to him, Ken not so suddenly, screamed. "Aaaaaaaaaaah!" He fell on his back and screamed louder. "He want's to kill everything! Everything!"
Sora became completely silent as Riku asked. "Do the Dark Seekers even know that?!" Namine wondered that and was shaking like a leaf as she noticed a collection of ashes appearing and taking the shape of the Firekeeper sitting with her legs. "If they did, then either they are too self centered to care what this means for them or he didn't tell them because they would care and he would have to tear his whole plan down."
Riku cringed. "And when he gets what he wants from them, they'll just be the first ones to die." Ken felt he was out of screams, felt the Firekeeper gently raising his head and placing it on her lap, he whimpered like toddler as Sora tried to think through the panic. "If we can't beat him, then we really do need to find that thing to kick him and Chaos outta here. That's our only chance unless we go for overkill."
Riku thought out loud. "Do even have something that would actually work?" Namine had ill news about that. "There is only so much light we can use before even that takes a toll on your hearts. The best we can do is to work ahead of him and get what we need before he decides to show up. The question now, is where are we suppose to look and how?" Riku noticed a stair way with the marking of Chaos and answered. "There is nothing else for us to find here that would help us, before we can leave, we need to face Garland."
Sora turned to it, had his moment of wanting to scream and held back, Ken looked to the door and wanted to plead that they shouldn't go on ahead. Riku took a deep breath and ordered the terrified crew. "If we're having second thoughts on facing the End Times and seeing how that world got torn apart," he didn't even have the heart to speak it in a condescending tone and it became a terrified. "too bad. We got to get through it."
Sora took that as a bitter pill and saw Goofy accepting that and Donald whining. "Awwww." Sora tried to perk up. "And when we do... I'm sure that the others got better stories to tell, for how much that mattered." Ken was at the end of his childish despair and relaxed. "Yeah, that I think we can do." He sat up and had a look at the other wise remote spot. "Are we... ready to get going?"
The chameleon looked a little offended and Namine pointed her thumb to him. "I took the liberty of making this cognition of someone a friend of Kairi's has met in her adventures. He wants munny for his goods and you boys need something to distract yourselves." Riku found it outrageous. "Now's not a good time for that." Sora noticed an golden apple. "Hey, that looks like something Little Chef might want to see." Goofy and Donald heard that and approached, finding an assortment of snack stuff and various trinkets, Goofy guessed. "If it isn't real out there, we can't bring it with us, but I'll bet it'll be handy here." Donald asked the chameleon. "What kind of business are you pulling on us?"
The chameleon chirped. "Kecleon!" Namine and the Firekeeper giggled in amusement as Ken gave in and have a look. "This is so weird." Kecleon tilted his head to Riku, inviting him to have a look as well, the oldest boy groaned and approached. "Fine, just what kind of friend did Kairi find?"
In Da Path of Da Green.
Kairi was the first to find something bizarre compared to what she expected, a dancing Orc in tribal wear, he wore a a scaled cloak and a particular tribal mask as he held a staff in one hand a shiv in another. The Orc giggled. "My turn iz next! My turn iz next!" Kairi approached him with caution and saw a sudden fire pit appear before her, she asked. "Hey, what's this?" The Orc shaman heard her and answered. "Ya's final test before da big fight ta end all fights! Ya's got ya story from Mork's chosen?" Mickey answered. "You mean Skarsnik?"
The shaman nodded and tossed something in the fire, turning it from orange to green. "Da brutally cunnin' one! Who lead Da Final Waagh from the back. If ya'z tink ya'z ead's can take Dat 'istory, then you'z should ere of all da biggest, meanest bosses dat ever lived before ya's get going." Mickey considered it as Kairi gasped. "The final waaagh? What happened for that to be the last one?" The shaman raised his hands up to invoke the green flame. "Dat izn't me job to say. But Ol' Wurrzag got somtin' else." He asked. "Ya'z noticed someone missing ere?"
Mickey didn't and Kairi closed her eyes, feeling like there was faint feeling of urgency leaving. "...The other two story tellers are either busy somewhere else here or for Namine, she felt you could do a better job." Mickey didn't find that surprising. "So what are you going to do?" Wurrzag chanted. "I'z gonna show ya'z! The tale of da three bosses who've made da bestest Waagh dat the Old orld had ever seen!"
The fire burst and consumed the duo's vision into green. Standing before them was an red armored Orc warlord on a gargantuan armored boar with a chipped tusk, the Orc had a great axe in his hand, wooden banners of various skulls, including one with a crown, a pelt for a cloak and was ordering his goblins and orcs. "Ya gobbos get around dat ummie fort, while da boyz make a real lot of noise. Once da cannons is all quiet, the big uns will get da towers."
Wurrzag's voice echo'd. "Da first big waagh, started with Ol' Gorbag Ironclaw. Who came da closest to crumin da ummie Empire then any other Warboss." The vision changed to a particular fight between Gorbag's waagh and an army of Imperial defenders, a man in a fancy hat, not unlike Wanda's, charged at Gorbag with a glistening sword. The sword stabbed into the Orc, caused a yell of pain and angered the Orc more, Gorbag ripped the man's arms off, Wurrzag spoke in a grim tone. "Until, Ironclaw took a nasty stabbin from a Runefang. A nasty sword that if it stabs ya, it doesn't heal up."
The two saw the vision of Gorbag getting more mad as the Empire took their leader and ran off, they found the grand city and Gorbad ordered a reckless charge at the cities walls. It ended with canon fire and the vision changed to Gorbad being off his usual aim in a fight, the Orcs around him question things and Wurrzag reached the dramatic point. "Den da boyz got stupid and da Boss's waagh started comin apart."
Kairi saw that. "Because those thugs saw their invincible Warboss on a bad day and started to leave to do their own thing, probably getting killed in the process." She sarcastically waved her hand. "Some friends he has."
Wurrzag sight in a pity. "One bad day was all it took for da Waagh to come apart, but he'z had one more surprise for da ummies." The green flame engulfed the surroundings and Gorbad ordered. "Release da wyverns! Let's see how dem hummie's can handle dis!" Their vision came to the inside of a fort and an crowned Emperor getting ready for a battle with his knights.
CRASH! A Green scaled wyvern smashed through the window, roared his bad breath and dashed to the Emperor with hungry jaws. Wurrzag knew the listeners weren't amused by the tales of barbarity. "Da ummie's don't work like da greenskins. Crumping da boss did nothin'." Mickey helped him finish. "So, with the Empire staying strong and Gorbad's Waagh weakening, he ran?" Wurzaag grunted. "Yup. With the boyz of his tribe and some gobbos, he marched back to da Badlands, where his waagh began."
The green mist faded, Mickey and Kairi found themselves in a cragged dessert, Gorbad and his dwindling Waagh were beset by some very angry dwarves. "Da stunties he been crumping had a grudge." The keybearers felt a defensive instinct kick in and drew their weapons, they jumped into the fight to confront Gorbad.
Wurzaag was impressed. "Now, dis is da tin you gotta do. Beat da boss and I'll toss in more tales for ya's." The duo, Gorbad was focused on them and gave a dumbfounded grunt. "What da zog are those?" Mickey aimed his blade at the Warboss. "This is a keyblade! You're waagh is over Gorbad, now it's time for you to stop." Gorbad growled as his boar grunted. "Not if me and Gnarla got anytin' to say 'bout that." The Warboss yelled in sync with his pig.
"WAAAAAAGH!"
They charged, Mickey flipped over Gnarla and struck Gorbad in fast speeds as Kairi aimed her blade at Gnarla's feet, freezing the boar in place and causing it to thrash in the ice. Gorbad swung a punch at Mickey to knock him off and was met with Kairi flinging at him in a veil of ice and hitting Gorbad where his wound was. The Orc got annoyed, swung his axe for a mix and felt Gnarla struggling, he smirked at the Princess, swung harder and more precise. Kairi jumped out of the way and watched Gorbad fall off the boar on purpose, the Orc landed, used the blunt of his axe to break one frozen binding and punch the other, giving Gnarla the chance to thrash free. Mickey cringed and unleashed a barrage of light upon the duo, Gnarla simply rushed around it and covered Gorbad's maneuver, the boar rushed at Kairi as Gorbad charged after the King. Mickey jumped over the axe swing and slashed at the chest with the hidden wound as Kairi form changed her blade to the ice claws, slid to the boar's right side and cut into him.
Gnarla swung his head at her, saw her back flip and charged, the princess flipped, landing on his back and kept attacking, Mickey formed an orb of light, dodged a sucker punch and flung it at Gorbad's chest, knocking him back and more importantly, incapacitating him. Mickey saw his chance, flipped in light and dived down blade first at the Orc. It sank into the wound and Gorbad yelped. "Yyyyyeow!"
He breathed in and tried to swing his axe at the mouse, Mickey pulled with his blade and stepped back, watched Gorbad swung himself to his side and try to get up. He grunted as Gnarla saw what happened and charge after Mickey, Kairi took a step on the boar and froze him solid. The Orc knew he was beat, gave a death sign and growled. "Gork n Mork... stomp ya'z."
The arena enveloped in green light and the duo found themselves in a cave of riches. Wurrzag giggled to them. "It iz never known, what really appen to him. Da stunies never tell anyone, yet Gorbad was never heard from again. But da boyz like ta tink he escaped them."
Mickey guessed why. "He made a good reputation to the Orcs and Goblins, regardless of how it ended. At the least, he went down fighting." Wurrzag agreed with that. "May he live on with Gork n Mork. Now's, ya'z familiar with dark tings? Why no one in dere right mind would go pickn' dem up?" Kairi nodded. "We've had a lot of experience with people who've messed around with Darkness and seen what the powers of Chaos can do to someone. We're often the ones who clean up the mess."
They heard an orcish whisper. "Yes, now ol' Azhag, he didn't heed that, he saw da best loot in dis ere cave." The duo felt the whisper coming from somewhere and found a golden crown with grey side cheeks and two horns on the side. Kairi squinted her face to the blatant whispers coming from the crown as Mickey put his hand over his face, the Princess approached the crown and heard the whisper. "Ya want'z ta know how ta outsmart dem chaos boyz?"
Kairi didn't hesitate to chuck the crown to a wall, passing Wurzzags test. "Dat iz the smart ting ta do. But Azhag, he put da crown on his 'ead and den it gave him ideas." Kairi grumbled. "Ideas that... helped him start a Waagh?" The cave flickered to a grassy plain. "Y'up and it gave him da power over even an adult Wyvern. But dat crown ad different plans, it wanted em to go to da dessert where da dead boyz are. Sometimes, da boyz that joined Azhag's waagh, 'ear him talking to dat crown, make em act un-orcy."
Kairi guessed the rest. "That crown had something evil in it and it tried to control him or make him do something that would give the crown complete control. If my Little Bro is right about the Orks, then the Orc's tend to be so simple minded that the control didn't work." Mickey realize that was the case for Azhag. "So he kept control of himself through will power, but he kept the crown on."
ROAR!
A mighty armored wyvern descended from the sky, with an unimpressive looking Orc with two axes and the wicked crown upon his head. Wurzzag laughed to the answer. "I'z tink's ya should see this." Azhag looked at the two and realize what he is dealing with. "If I'z don't know any better, I saw ya out ere alone cause ya tink ya don't need an army." Azhag grumbled to the crown. "Shut up crown! We'ze fight what I says we fight." He argued to it. "I know that they got'z a trick up dere, they won't get us if Skullmuncha keep us up here."
Skullmuncha dived down, Azhag sparked his hand in dark power and caused Kairi to feel an unsettling laughter in her lungs, she burst into a laugh that tore it's way out, she breathed and tried to keep it under control. "M..Ha. Mickey, if you hit that Wyvern from under, I'll deal with Azhag from...HA! Above." She spit out what looked like blood, realize the spell was killing her, cast a heal to ease the damage and Mickey focused to summon spears of light from the ground, Skullmuncha saw that and Azhag tugged to have him dodge, Kairi high jumped with golden wings and glided to the Wyvern. Azhag growled. "Clever, girl. That isn't gonna save you from me."
He cast something that caused a pull in Kairi's spirit, she kept strong, resisted and thought her plan out. She landed in front of the Orc, enveloped herself in wind and focused on striking the crown. Azhag tried to parry and was given blow after blow to the head. "Ow! Zog, what are you'z doing?"
Kairi answered sharply. "You won't be that hard without that crown." Smack! Azhag went into a zen, used one axe to catch the blade and used the other to get at the girls neck. She jumped, used the crown as something to hold on to and saw the image of an infuriated skeleton. "I will make you suffer for this!" She let go as she felt a dodge, pulled and heard Azhag order. "Shake her off and devour her!"
Skullmuncha obeyed and tried to barrel roll, avoiding the spears of light from bellow, Kairi grabbed on the chain and flipped behind Azhag, enveloping herself with light and hitting the crown once more. Bonk! Azhag tried to order something, smacked the crown and yelled. "I'z got it already!" He turned and swung hard, Kairi jumped over that and was back to the front, she attacked the crown with holy light and Azhag yelled. "Stop doing dat! Crown don't like that. Skullmuncha, dive down and chomp dat mousy boy!"
Kairi took it as her que to jump off and focus on a shot lock, Mickey rolled out of the way of a diving Skullmuncha and used it as his chance to use the spears of light to pin the wyvern in place, it thrashed mid air and Kairi unleashed the Heart of the Princess to bombard the two. Skullmucha hissed as Azhag braced himself and took the damage, the Orc was shocked in arcane power and tried to break out of the chain to no avail, Azhag yelled. "Dat ain't gonna work, dat light magic!"
Kairi was impressed that the Orc was able to argue with the spirit with the Crown and dived to the Orc with holy light. Azhag readied to punch her, dodge the spear dive and smacked her on the side of her face, she smacked the crown with light again, Azhag went to trying to cast something, clenched his axe wielding fist and tried to use that instead. Kairi parried that and smacked the axe away and hit the crown again, causing it to crack. Azhag was fighting the crown giving him an order and screamed against the arcane shock. Giving the Princess the chance to smack again and tap her keyblade at the crown. "Game over!"
She shined a rather swift light that engulfed the crown and caused it to shatter, it caused Azhag to act like he been shot in the head, his skull sizzled in dark magic and his body went limp. Kairi's confidence became a shock of horror, Skullmuncha became feral in the whiplash and Mickey stabbed the ground. "It's time you get out of here!"
Kairi wanted to confess something, jumped off and watched a beam of holy light engulf Skullmuncha and sent him flying, knocking the body of Azhag off as the beast was sent blasting off to a mountain. It took until Mickey notice what happened, he cringed as Kairi stared at what she done. Wurzzag asked her. "Tink ya's could magically free him from dat? Dat spirit isn't a nice one."
The Princess exhaled. "I... just wanted to prove to him that he isn't much without that crown. I didn't think breaking it would kill him." Wurzzag gave her a tisk tisk. "Dat might have worked if da crown was something you iz use ta fighting. But out in Da World Dat Wuz, dat dark magic is awfully killy."
Kairi guessed so. "Which is why we need to keep an eye out for anything with the hint of Chaos on it or even dark items from this world I heard about. Sometimes it's too late to save someone even if you try." Mickey agreed with that. "Which is why we need to stop it from happening in the first place." Kairi nodded. "Regardless, Azhag and that crown... arguing with each other, was likely how the orc really met his end. Being that close to a sword is the worst time you could have when you argue with someone."
She saw a green light and Wurzzag clapped in the unknown. "Dat right. Then dat crown got locked away after dat." The scenery changed to that of an arena with in the mountains. "If da loot don't feel right, ya'z junk it first. Listen to ya Shaman when he get's da shakes and maybe ya'z don't end up like ol' Azhag, even if he does lead to a good fight." He laughed as something walked onto the arena. "Now, have you noticed da one kind of orc left out of da stories?"
Kairi scratched the back of her head as Mickey tried to recall. "Well, the Orcs here look a little different from how Sora and the others describe their descendants." Kairi listed the three she knew. "We could mark the Orc boyz we saw as a part of evolution, split between the Ironjawz that don't come in nearly that many numbers, but I've heard them being a lot more elite while they smash your face in. The Kruelboyz who have the numbers but don't look like these Orcs so much and they actually use some strategy like how Gorbad used. Then there is the Bonesplittaz, who have a shaman that looks a lot like you, Wurzzag."
The Shaman snickered to that and it sounded like he was shedding a joyful tear. "Da Savage Boyz have stuck with da old ways?" Kairi sympathized with the nostalgia. "I guess they did. We got an idea of where the Kruelboyz might have came from and know where the Bonesplittaz came from, but the elite nature of the Ironjawz came from somewhere. At what point did their evolution, started?"
A green fire sparked and revealed the image of heavily armored Orcs that the Princess recognized, Wurzzag whispered. "It started, when da spiky dwarves tried to make boyz that would be better then da normal orcs. Those dat tink better and do what they say?"
Mickey realized what that meant. "Dwarves that fallen to Chaos and used their knowledge to make a better... slave? Trying to take control over you fellas isn't going to work, if a friend of ours is correct, an old enemy of ours is stuck having deal with prisoners that aren't ever going to do what he wants and wreck havoc."
The green fire revealed a heavily armored Orc without his helmet, he had a missing eye, dark green skin, a two bladed axe in one hand and a spike club in another. He looked at them with disdain and a grumpy demeanor. Wurzzag described him. "Da black orcs have been a weird sort ever since some of them crumped dem chaos stunties and got da zog outta there. Talkin' strategies, keeping der armor and choppas in shape and pick der fights. But dey knows how ta win."
Wind blew the flame away and a rather menacing figure approached them, on his left hand was a mighty, twin bladed axe, with a belly plate resembling a red tusked beast, near black armor and a scar over his left eye, closing it and leaving the working right eye twitching to the two. "And among da black orcs, came da meanest of them all. Da champion of Gork, who gave da Chaos stunies what was commin to them and was never two days without a fight." The shaman laughed. "Grimgor Ironhide, da greatest Orc warrior who ever lived. Heh! Heh! Heh! You'z might be in trouble."
Grimgor Ironhide's eye looked upon the scrawny bodies, then to the blades and barked. "Alright, time ta give ya gits a real stomping. Ya'z dumb enough to come ere on my mountain alone, but ya'z got passed me boyz?"
Kairi confidently answered. "Oh, we've had our share with guys like them. Let's get to the point, we're going to beat you." Grimgor realized the teenage ummie was serious as Mickey realize the Orc was fighting by himself. The Orc raised his axe. "Ya'z better back dat up, or I'm going to see if dat skull is full of hot air, when I'z splitz it open." He charged. "WAAAAAGH!"
Kairi waited for the Orc to get close and back flipped to dodge the axe, she dashed back and blitz him, Grimgor swung his fist at the girls face and saw her skid to the right, he followed with an axe swing downward right and saw her circle around him. He smirked and spun further right, Kairi jumped back and shot a fire ball at him. Mickey had his turn and nimbly struck Grimgor as he finished his spin, the Orc flung his fist, was parried and used the push to slam his head at the mouses skull. Knocking him down in one blow, dazing him and leaving him open to the axe. FLING!
A star shape boomerang flung at Grimgor's back, actually making him yell out and making him turn around and seeing Kairi with a glowing weapon. The Orc slowly approached and waited for Kairi to do something, the girl knew the Orc was wanting an opening and made a circle that became a flower of light, it fired five beams, Grimgor jumped to the right and sprinted to the side of the attack, he swung his axe at the girl, that flipped to the far left and saw him fling the axe at her. Kairi used a reflective parry, was pushed back and heard a sprint with a shout of a. "WAAAAAGH!"
With the chance, she jumped over the Orc, smacked her blade at the back of Grimgor's head and kept attacking the orc from behind. Grimgor swung a punch at her to get her to back off, grabbed his axe sprinted to her again. Mickey felt his vision returning, got up with a head ache and saw that Kairi was handling the art of avoiding getting hit, he used his blade to form orbs of light and shoot them at Grimgor, who was getting annoyed. He wanted to charge at Mickey, turned to make the sprint and was smacked across the face by a staff of light, turned to find the girl in light, realize it was an illusion, was pelted in the face with light and turned to find Kairi floating back with her staff spinning and bombarding the brute and flickering again to leave an illusion that fired at the Orc, then again and again. Grimgor was completely confused, saw the real girl being more nimble and decided to leap, Kairi flew to the air and lead her light clones to attack in a barrage, with her's being stronger. Grimgor had no way of dodging and getting a good hit and was knocked onto his back, he flipped onto his feet.
He made one more waaagh cry as he saw the attack was over, Kairi let her staff drill into the ground and cause a tower to erect high, it swirled in light. RUMBLE! The tower shook from a full on tackle, Kairi didn't look down, summoned two more clones of light and together, channeled their light to the upper center and rained down light. Grimgor screamed in defiance as the light was overwhelming him, the tower disappeared and Kairi let herself free fall, having a look at Grimgor being pretty battered and even more furious, he saw her blade reverted back to normal, sprinted to her and jumped to where she was going to fall, axe first, she gave a fierce battle cry and as Grimgor readied to slam his axe down, Kairi smacked the Orc firmly in the head with the blunt end of her blade, sending the Orc spinning off course and falling to the ground. She landed on her feet and pressed her hand to catch herself. She had a look at Grimgor laying on the ground and saw that he wasn't getting up. The fight, was by definition, over and a door opened, the arena of orcs growled one of them barked. "She cheated!" "Nobody beats Grimgor!" "Let's see how well she can handle Da Immortalz!"
The blacks orcs readied to charge her if to avenge her boss and green smoke poofed in front of them, Wurzzag yelled in a boom. "Quite ya yappin! She won fair n square!" Mickey agreed with that. "She did fellas, settle down, we're going to be leaving." Kairi exhaled from the adrenaline boost and turned to the door. "He's a pretty tough one, good luck with your next fight, I guess."
She lead the way as Mickey followed, Wurzzag danced in excitement and left the Orcs to become still, like a part of a story was concluded. Past the door, was a savage mountain, with amber winds howling. Kairi asked the prophet. "So, if Skarsnit became Mork's Champion and Grimgor became Gork's champion, the final Waagh came close? You never said about what happened to Grimgor."
Wurzzag jumped to the ledge and laughed. "Like many of da great bosses, Grimgor's waaagh, drew boyz from all around. Den, somtin' happened to da winds of magic that made da World Dat Wuz. Da magic sought special gitz to make their incarnates, now Ghur, da wind of Beasts, dat is a fierce one."
Mickey gasped to the mention of Ghur. "Wind of Beasts?! That... is different from what we heard of." Kairi jumped to the ledge and saw the amber winds flying to a warband, lead by Grimgor and Da Immortals, Grimgor gave a glare to the winds and was ready to fight it. The winds howled like an animal, turned to a furry beast of some kind and slithered into him, causing him to convulse with power, the horde looked at it weird and Grimgor flexed. He shouted at his strength and lead on.
Mickey caught up and asked the prophet. "He became one with the winds of Magic, but why did the wind came?" Wurzzag shrugged like he didn't know the why. "Just some pointy ear that needed something for da Final Waagh. While dey deal with da Chaos boyz, Grimgor sought ta change his waagh to dat of da Beast."
With another wave of green, they were guided to the sight of a fierce battle between Grimgor's Waagh and a race of fat looking humanoids, Grimgor battled fiercely against a fat king with a giant mace of gold and winning by taking the humanoids own mace and clubbing his head in. With one thorough kill, the humanoids stopped fighting and turned to Grimgor along with the Orcs, the humanoids bowed in unison. The Orc shaman explained. "Da Ogre Kingdoms, saw Grimgor as an avatar of The Maw and joined with him as a part of Da Beast Waagh! You'z seen dem too?"
Kairi began remembering one particular. "Someone that called himself the Dark Eater after eating a Heartless and used the forming darkness from his stomach as a weapon. I can't believe how that worked for him until the Black Legion showed up with...Kharn." She was quickly specific. "Sora told us some parts of what happened. The Ogres didn't change at all when the World That Was became the realm. So with these guys on Grimgor's side, they were unstoppable during the last Waagh."
Wurzzag tapped his staff and rippled the illusions, showing a stronghold of Chaos Dwarves and imprisoned Black Orcs, being broken free and joining in a complete massacre, Grimgor was slaughtering the minions of Chaos like they were gnats. Mickey frowned to the violence and admitted. "These fellas made them and now they had to deal with the aftermath, I don't want to know what the Chaos Dwarves have done, but if they are anything like what we saw already from the Forces of Chaos, then what goes around, comes around."
Wurzzag nodded grimly. "We'z stomp, we'z crush, we'z fight for no one but ourselves. Grimgor, showed dat to da spikys, but then-" They saw a ripple of magic spirit them away to a burning city. "He and da ladz were sent to source of all da scrapping. Gork called em for da final battle of Da World Dat Wuz." Kairi and Mickey saw a group of night goblins sneaking into the forming Waagh, lead by a Skarsnik that was alone. With that, the town's illusion faded away and became the time bound realm they are use to. Wurzzag flipped a tribal dance to a door with a sphere. "Now, it is your turn to see wut haz been." He laughed to them and gave a bow, flickering away in green light, what remained was a card.
Kairi picked it up, looked upon it and saw the tribal orc's image. "So the Greenskins took the call and had one more fight for their world." She turned to Mickey. "If they known what the Forces of Chaos would do to them, they didn't care. The battle was all that mattered, even a bunch of crazy barbaric brutes and bullies, like them, understood that." She shook her head. "I don't know how the Orruks and Grots got caught up in all this, but we might need them."
Mickey agreed with that, but was fearful of what is needed to be done. "But after how we let Dragon Hackah get sealed away in the first place, I don't think he will listen to us anymore." Kairi agreed back. "He definitely won't, we're going to need to plan this out." She put the card away. "Something tells me, what ever story the others are following, is going to lead them to this."
She turned to the door and felt scared to go further, Mickey stood by her side and felt unwanted, but necessary answers were just ahead. "This will connect everything about the Realms and what we are really dealing with, as scary as it will get, sometimes the best answers are the ones we don't want to hear." Kairi nodded, she and Mickey went across the door to the last battle of the World That Was.
In the Path of Sigmar.
Ana and Halvek, once again, found themselves in a swamp, where they found two Imperial nobles being brought to the sword by a crowned Sigmar, acting upon a dark impulse of rage. The marshes fog felt like they could grip upon a soul, should a death happen here, would the fog take their claim. Ana felt rather disgusted as Sigmar had his sword raised for an execution and charged at him with her hammer blade. Tink! "What are you doing, Sigmar?! This is not you!" The voice of a man came out of her and she found herself in the guise of a high official, the Emperor screamed in anger and struck back, overwhelming who was clearing an old companion and was about to strike him down. As Ana saw the cold anger, she saw a strange trance and found herself and Halvek with in a dark void, finding in Sigmar's place, the brief sight of a pale, humanoid monster that looked to be relishing in the thought of taking another life. That horrified Ana and the image of a terrified Sigmar took the things place, she and the man were in the illusion of reality, Sigmar nearly wept. "What.. am I doing?!"
He went for the crown and tried to remove it, the crown sparked in green energy and jolted into his mind, causing him to scream in agony and run off to the marshes. Ana and Halvek looked upon each other in confusion and gave chase, finding the emperor sinking into the marshes in an attempt to fight back, the Stormcast took her blade, aimed for the man and used the power to dive into the emperors heart, finding the shadow of Death and the faint image of a skeleton, whispering. "You see? This is what you are. This is who you are. Embrace it and the pain will end. Cease your resistance and give me your flesh to wear. You cannot keep my spirit out forever, and when you are mine, I shall give you power beyond your wildest imaginings. This petty empire of man that you have built is nothing to what we might achieve together. There are lands far beyond these shores to be conquered, worlds beyond this paltry rock to be enslaved! Stand at my side and this entire world will be yours!"
Ana recognized the voice, she readied to say something as three images appeared, a kneeling Sigmar in agony, the image of Bjorn and of some woman that may have been Sigmar's sweet heart. Speaking something of encouragement that caused the man to slowly shine bright. The shadow of death was pushed back, Sigmar ripped the crown from his head and threw it, in that moment, the emperor lost consciousness and fell into the water, Ana gasped and went to get Sigmar out of it, finding herself as that friend, who was as muddied as Sigmar. He and the Emperor were giving a manly embrace, Sigmar cried and was begging for forgiveness, as that man, Ana whispered. "It's okay, that evil crown was what was giving you those evil thoughts."
Halvek went to get the crown, picked it up and wanted to ask something, the Crown burst into spectral light and swept the three in the fog. When they came through, Ana and Halvek were standing by a Sigmar with Ghal-Maraz as he confronted the foe Ana recognized.
A liche with burning green eyes and tattered clothes of death, with a staff in one hand and a sword in another. Halvek looked around to find a death strewn arena and the army of the dead around him. "Nagash can't keep his mitts off of anything, can he?" Ana saw Sigmar baiting Nagash with his crown, by putting it on and taking it off as the Necromancer was more focused on that, the emperor had a justified rage and did battle. Ana thumped her Hammerblade on her other hand and felt a coming relief. "I am going to enjoy this. Halvek, keep Nagash from casting his spells, don't use the Voidstone though."
The Kharadron found a tether and focused. "Aye, aye Lady Ana!" Nagash hissed to them. "You, along with the rest of living, are nothing but cattle!" He unleashed a soul leech upon Sigmar and tried to cast something on Halvek, finding it not working for some reason, Ana and Sigmar smashed into the Necromancer as one, causing some of the necromancer's armor to shatter. Nagash unleashed the power of icy death and the two kept attacking, the Necromancer put himself together and caught Ana in a fit of hysterical laughter that was tearing her insides apart, Sigmar had to rush at Nagash alone and smashed Ghal-maraz into his chest, with the howl of a wolf. The Warhammer's runes on it's haft, glowed in pure light, causing a reaction that countered his necrotic power, the hammer burned brighter and caused Nagash to explode in darkness and cold fire. The back lash, caused the army of the dead, to collapse.
At that moment, Ana felt a point in history connect and the image returned to the strange town. She was almost in tears. "And that, was how the legendary Warhammer, Ghal-Maraz, revealed it's true power. Sigmar united an Empire and protected it from the many foes and in the fight against an absolute evil, the light of the hammer drove it off."
She turned to a door shining in light and was called to it, Halvek agreed with the thought. "He came through for his people and his people came through for him when he strayed from the path. There is so much about his history that this place has to be leaving out." Ana agreed. "Our enemy doesn't want us to be here forever, just so we will learn enough." Her tone turned to one a little more furious. "But I'm still going to bash his skull in for what he's done to Loru and the others!"
Halvek nodded. "Garland is a negative asset to his Realm and by all accounts, he needs to be terminated before he returns to being our problem during this war." Ana lead on and requested. "By all means, if it will keep him from falling into the hands of the true enemy, do what you need to do. Unless the lads got something better in mind, they are not use to war like you and I."
Halvek didn't mind. "If he will cease to be a royal pain in our backsides, that would stop me." Passing through the light, they found a back drop of twisted trees and a foe approaching them, a tall man in sinister spiked armor, it bore the mark of chaos. Ana approached without hesitation and found herself in the guise of a particular man, wielding Ghal-Maraz, the warrior of chaos drew a sword and axe. "Sigmar Heldenhammer! The so called Emperor of the weaklings of the south, you've dared to slay my tribes?!" He barked. "and deny the gods their right to the world?! I will carve your chest open and smash your heart with that little hammer of yours!"
Sigmar just looked at him and drew his hammer for battle. "Are you done crying for vengeance? The Empire will push your hell spawned followers, back to the North and become the beacon of hope this world needs!" He yelled. "For the Empire and it's people!"
Halvek realize he has no place in this battle and found a scroll, he read it to himself and watched Sigmar and the Warrior of Chaos clash blows that burned the trees in fire and lightning. "And so, Sigmar did battle with the Uniter of Chaos, Morkar. For a day and night, they fought and shook the earth in a clash of titans."
He watched Sigmar and Morkar trade blows for what felt like forever, what remained of the forest was a crater, Sigmar was bloodied as Morkar was battered through the armor, nothing else mattered but the clash between United Light of Mankind and the Dark Inferno of Chaos. The battle raged, until Sigmar and his hammer shined as one and smacked Morkar across the skull, causing a splatter of darkness and a Champion of Chaos to fall over, the inferno quickly retreated and a calm came.
The illusion faded once more, Ana and Halvek found themselves with in a palace, and found an elderly Sigmar upon his throne. In a sudden, the man took a small, but glistening crown of his head, put it aside and took his Warhammer with him for a walk. Out of the throne room, where the onlookers followed him, going past a familiar man and a knight on duty, having a merry time together and talking about old stories, out of the palace, was a city in prosparity, from markets doing usual business, to children playing without a care in the world. Life felt at peace with in the city, the three exit the gates and went to the more rural farmlands, where agriculture was busy but productive, life was at peace and Sigmar felt satisfied. Their journey went through a forest where the local hunters do their business and notice not the man, allowing him to cross to the break of the wilderness, where a grey wolf appeared to travel alongside him, along with a brown boar with black tusks, the sight of mighty mountains awaited them, the further they strayed from civilization, the more of of a mark, Mankind has shown. Ana and Halvek realize what is happening, Sigmar realized his work was done and it became the time he leave the torch to his people.
Even the Kharadron, who's put his faith solely into science and progress, couldn't help but shed tears of pride. The man reached the base of the mountains and had one last look upon the world, before traveling upward, into the mist of legends. Ana, Halvek and the animal companions, stood there and watched the man climb up to the heavens. The illusion faded, they were back in the town, with simple room and a simple door with a golden sphere, Ana saw a card and took it, revealing the Barbarian King, raising the hammer of Ghal-maraz. Ana kept it close in a silent prayer and a blue rift opened, making way for the Prophet. "To think one man has brought about Man kinds mark upon the World That Was."
Halvek hummed to him. "Not just for the humans, but for the dwarves and anyone who stand against the darkness that plagued the land. I... reckon that didn't last forever, Morkar and Nagash were only the beginning." Ana sighed and put the card away. "So the Empire was in a constant struggle that grew over time? Not everyone, shared Sigmar's vision and sometimes, people only think for themselves while Chaos, Death and the Destructive forces of nature, find new ways to wreck havoc. In time, that took it's toll?"
The Prophet hummed to the observant zealot. "Sigmar let his people decide their own fate, but there was always a voice that brought about the Light of the world. How long has that cycle went on?" Ana shrugged as Halvek guessed. "A... couple thousand years, nothing lasts forever and sooner or later, the enemies of all found something to break the cycle in their favor."
The Prophet nodded. "It was not, until around the final century, that the Forces of Chaos, sired the one who would shatter the foundations of the World. The final, Everchosen," He used a dark power and conjured the image of a dark armored man with a horned helm of three eyes. "Archaon."
Ana gasped. "By Sigmar and the Light, that mad man has actually..." Halvek helped her finished. "Destroyed the World That Was?" Ana certainly believes it. "You've never fought him before, me and the best the worlds have to offer, could not scratch him! If Garland didn't came, a whole world would have fallen into complete Chaos when Archaon finished toying with us. And that was him with barely an army." She asked the Prophet. "How did the people fight back against him?!"
The man had grim news and dismiss the image. "By the will of a certain Necromancer, the World, showed it's wound and the more adept defenders of the world, grown desperate as the Empire rotted from with in. Three brothers, infected that wound and the Empire fought one costly battle after another." He brought out his scythe and pointed it to the door.
"Come and see,"
Ana took a deep breath and lead on with Halvek. "We shall, the defenders of these worlds, must not bare the burden of this grim knowledge alone. Your aid to us is appreciated, what is your name?" The Prophet paused "Not this again." and asked. "There isn't much time for pleasantries, go!" The Stormcast sighed and respected the decision. "Alright, thank you stranger, may we meet again in more promising times." Halvek saluted the man. "It's been a pleasure doing business."
They went past the door and ascended, to find a familiar, sickening image of a forest rotting, daemons of Nurgle ran rampant and suits of armor with rot, maggots and pus pushed against a more advanced Empire, firing everything at them. In the center of the battle, at a fountain was a heavily armored man with a missing arm, a mighty sword and on the back of a great gryphon, doing battle against a trio of brothers that Ana is aware of. The Glottkin. Ghurek was smashing at the Gryphon as Ethrac unleashed a continuous pestilence and Otto took blow after blow to taunt. "These lands belong to Father Nurgle! Karl Franz!" Ethrac chanted. "Empires will rot! Kingdoms will fall!" Ghurek gurgled in agreement and Otto laughed. "Indeed, brother!"
Karl barked. "Not so long as we stand! For Sigmar, for the Empire!" A horse came charging and a knight with a white mustache and a golden helmet fashioned like wings, jumped off to grapple the scythe from the Chaos lord.
Otto drew out a rusted blade and back handed him to the ground and Karl took it as his chance to dive his sword into Otto's bloated chest, something didn't feel right, Otto was kicking and thrashing as the blade burned into his chest. He pulled Karl off balance, then lunged the rusted blade to the man's neck. The knight, jumped back on and grappled the rusted blade from Otto, the chaos lord simply swiped it away, ripping a couple fingers off and stabbed the body guard in eyes. Ana and Halvek cringed to the violent death and looked away for a moment, hearing a body fall to the ground. Ghurek pinned the gryphon in place, Otto pulled the mystical sword out and raised in triumph in sync with lightning, he yelled in triumph and swung the sword down at Karl, thunder clapped as the man of the Empire used his remaining hand to try and deflect it, the hand was severed at the sword plunged into his chest, dealing a mortal wound. Karl fell in his death throes and the Glottkin giving praise to Nurgle. The man coughed his final breath. "Sigmar, let us win this...day."
He became lifeless and the Glottkin proceeded to march onward, unaware of something descending from the sky, a twin tailed comet, making impact with Karl's body. In a burst of light, the rot vaporized, the Glottkin, realized someone wasn't finished them and turned, they, Ana and Halvek looked upon a man, rising, a familiar Barbarian King, rose in place of Karl, with a crackling hammer of energy.
Ana and Halvek recognized Sigmar, in all his glory, the God King charged at the Glottkin and struck a mighty blow, Ghurek fell backwards in a hissing scream and Ethrac cast something. "No, no! We are not going to die now!" With a cast, the Glottkin disappeared as a cloud of flies. The fight was over and Ana looked on to a man with the Aura of the Azyr, the light of hope that the Stormcast was familiar with. Then came a door, leading on to the next scenario. The duo marched on and Ana wondered, how did this fail?
In the Path of Death.
Aqua and Ven found themselves in a strange forest, with grass wearing elves, guarding something with in a tree. They snuck through an open window and found a bald pale vampire in a clearly sinister attire, trapped with in a magic prison, they dropped in to have a look at Mannfred. Being drained of his vampiric power and not going anywhere, Aqua was the first to feel a shadow, a large winged, black demon appeared in a mist of smoke. "Down on your luck again? Prince Mannfred."
Mannfred growled. "Nagash sold me out to the elves, for the death of their Everqueen." Be'lakor snickered. "I'm sure he did, and while he and your father are out, conquering this doomed world, you are to languish here, until true death takes you." He wondered when that will be and readied to take his leave. "But, that will not matter once my Masters achieve a final victory, only one goddess, who could do anything about it, remains out of our grasp. Suffer well, Mannfred."
The Vampire heard the words and stopped him. "Wait, the goddess Lileath?" Be'lakor walked backwards and faced him yet again. "You know what she is planning?" Mannfred hissed. "I do, if I tell you, will you free me?"
Be'lakor smiled. "Perhaps." Mannfred smiled back. "She is casting her lot with the Bretonians, there is something she is using their souls for." Be'lakor snapped his fingers and the prison became undone. "That will be enough. Now go and claim what is yours." He vanished in shadow and Mannfred had a hungry glare at the unaware guards outside. The image flickered to the sight of Archaon on his throne of bones, with Mannfred bowing before him. The Everchosen glared at him. "You wish to aid me?" He pointed out of the temple. "Then stop the Weaklings from coming here! They must not retake Middenheim!"
With that, Ven and Aqua noticed the door and went through it to another corridor of the End of Time and processed what they are seeing, the keyblade Master asked sassingly. "It didn't take long for Mannfred to start selling people out." Ven agreed with that. "I know it's because Nagash did it first, but he threw those elves under the bus to get out that and marched straight to Archaon."
Aqua nodded. "Oh we know Nagash sees everyone as either playthings or pawns for him to use, but he keeps his more loyal minions close to him. What did Mannfred do prior, for that monster to see him as expendable?" Ven thought, tried to say something stopped and Aqua finished. "It's possible, he focused more on kissing up to Nagash than doing what was assigned. Archaon was awfully quick to get him into the front lines too."
Ven cringed. "So he has that kind of reputation, now one thing I don't get, what is Archaon even doing in Middenheim in the first place?"
"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" The duo heard a sinister voice and turned to find a chain bound Be'lakor, who sneered and taunted. "Fools! You cannot stop the Everchosen, for he will usher in the annihilation of this world. Long ago, when the world was young, the progenitors of the world, the Old Ones, created two structures of which they would bend time and space. As they used them for their own purposes of creating your precious world, the structures began to collapse and bring forth the essence of my Masters. The thing that lurks with in the northern and southern wastes."
Aqua gasped. "They made two rifts to the Realm of Chaos?" Be'lakor's eyes glowed. "And in their folly, the Old Ones created a third structure, right underneath the center of these lands. Middenheim. Through sacrifice and ritual, the Everchosen seeks to use this structure to create a third rift that would unmake your reality." He laughed with cruelty. "Try as you might, you are too late to save anything." Ven grew tired of Be'lakor and used his keyblade to strike him, causing a flash of light that spirited them somewhere.
In the Path of Chaos.
Riku was wearing a yellow and white stripped band and folded his arms like he was stylish as Sora watched Ken wearing a military hat to compare, the spiky haired boy thought about it and noticed the band being a lot more matching. "I say... Riku's fits more."
Riku nodded to that and Ken looked to himself and took off the hat, seeing it quite green. "Do I really need to dye this?" Riku thought to be a good sport and suggest. "Brown or purple, the pick's yours."
He put the band back on Kecleon's mat and saw Donald and Goofy finished with a relaxing, fruity tea that had slices of pear like berries to compliment it, he turned to Namine, finishing up a drawing and asked. "Thanks for giving us a break. We're about to see some ugly, dark things ahead." The girl appreciated the gratitude as Kecleon wrapped his goods in the mat, turned it into a bindlestiff and waved goodbye, it disappeared in light and Namine showed the drawing of a Kecleon with the nap sack and a pockets worth of money. "You'll like the friends Kairi has made. They consider a Kelceon setting shop to be one of the bests parts of their adventures, as long as they don't try stealing anything. Then Kelceon will show them the door."
Riku blew to the wind. "You don't mess with the shop owner, you'll start a war." He saw Ken putting his hat away and taking his jacket off, showing a purple, sleeveless undershirt. "And I thought the Moogles were bad. So, before we go see the end, purple matches with this and I don't button." Riku has the mental image of Ken in a purple military hat, with the sleaveless undershirt, complimenting the prosthetic and the black pair of pants that go with black shoes. "Not bad." He thought to himself. "I should go for some clothes shopping."
Ken appreciated the criticism. "It might look a little strange thanks to my arm, but the hat tells a story." He put his jacket back on, posed Cadia's Light like a spear and approached the door. "I'm ready to get going, what say you all?"
Riku followed him and wanted to lead into a certain world of nightmares. "We've goofed off enough, Namine, do you think you can get back to Kairi on your own?" The nobody winked. "That's not a problem, I kind of had to get out of there anyways and I used some of the power here to make a better story teller for the normal adversaries to Mankind. The Orcs and Goblins."
Sora gasped. "No way! Those use to the be Orruks and Grots?" Namine nodded. "Apparently there was a shaman apart of a primitive of Orcs that chose to stay primitive and this Shaman is good at what he does. I think we all gotten use to those guys talking." She gave grunty, if still girly tone. "Like dis" and broke out of the grunt. "and there is so much of that we can take without having to interpret it all."
Jiminy phewed. "Thank goodness." He hid in Sora's pouch as the spiky haired boy went to the door and qued Donald and Goofy to finish up. "We should check on Dragon Hackah when we can, we might need them and they might help us if we offer to get them home." Namine cringed and slowly disappeared. "Good luck with that, Sora."
With her gone, Donald and Goofy finished up, put their tea pots away and were the rear guard. The magician sighed. "Here we go." The shield bearer is worried. "This is gonna get bad." Riku opened the way. "It will, let's see the beginning of the end." He lead into what looks like a luscious jungle, a heated battle between dinosaur like creatures and the Skaven ensued, warp lightning and beams of sunlight traded blows. Stormfiends and crocodile monsters clashed and the jungle was rustling with rats and Skinks. He asked out loud. "What are the Seraphon doing here?!"
He gasped as Sora realized. "They're trying to defend their home." He drew his weapon for battle as terrosaurs swooped down to rip at the back line Skaven, cutting their firing line away and turning the fight in their favor.
Ken and Goofy felt something was wrong and squinted their eyes to what was behind the Skaven's lines, a giant warp stone canon was on the horizon, it was aimed at something in the sky. Donald turned to see it and whimpered. "This is going to stink." The crew looked above and saw a green glowing moon, Riku's lips stiffened. "There is no way they would be this stu-"
WRRRR!
Sora closed his eyes in grim acceptance. "They are." He squinted his eyes to find pyramids in the jungle. "This way, if we can get to the pyramids, we might do something." Riku found that a good idea as the warp canon shot a beam of lightning at the moon, shattering it into fragments that began to fall upon the world, they heard an ancient language beckon the Seraphon and on order, they retreated, with the Skaven using that as a chance to attack. Energy shot from the temples at the continent sized fragments, trying to break it down and direct the chunks to the jungle. In a few moments, the crew reached the temples and found them glowing, the ground shifting, Sora grabbed Goofy by the arms as Riku did the same for Donald, they flowed straight to the temple and Ken used his air magic to follow, catching a glimpse of the many lizardmen trying to escape into the temple, some were attacked by the Skaven, others were crushed by the fragments of the moon.
In a few moments, the door closed and the crew found themselves looking upon the temple, an orange Slann in stone wear was focusing his mind on shattered the moon fragments, along side a mummified Slann that long croaked, together they condensed the meteors to only one location and formed protective barriers around the Pyramids, that flew up the stars as the destruction loomed closer, the mummified Slann burned and the orange Slann collapsed in exhaustion, he gasped as the Skaven approached and crawled to the steps of a lookout spot, he passed away at the steps. Then, the falling inferno landed and engulfed the jungle, everything, from straggling Lizardmen, to the Skaven, burned. The jungle was no more. Then came darkness and the void of space, a door of red light opened and Riku had the chance to breath. "These guys had plans to get out of here when the worst came?"
Ken nodded grimly. "And... tried to keep the damage of that, to the jungle. They were still trying to save this world after that." Donald hummed. "But they couldn't anymore?" Goofy was feeling uneasy of the red light. "But what does that mean for the rest of the world?" Sora held back the temptation to scream. "They had to carry on without them, this bought the world time that... didn't matter."
They heard a deep voice in their minds. "Only the time to preserve what was left." They turned and found a large blue toad, in a meditative stance. "The world kept fighting as it burned. You must keep fighting." Sora figured so. "But even if we do, Chaos is still going to be your problem. This doesn't do anything to help you guys."
The Slann, opened his glowing eyes. "Perhaps, not, but if it means your worlds would have a future, then you must succeed where we failed. Gaze upon the shadows, what is apart of you, holds your salvation."
Sora cringed. "But all we know about the Darkness is that it causes problems and the ones who know anything about how to use it..." he stopped. "know it will just make things worse if we take more advise from them." Ken agreed with that. "But they are not wrong in how it can help us. Guys, I'm scared of doing past that door, what's beyond that... could be what is going to happen to us all if we don't try something."
Goofy and Donald agreed with that and tried to push Sora towards it, Riku tapped his head. "But what is that something? We need to talk with anyone who's found something strange, Ken you said there was someone who needs our help anyways?" Ken gestured it is no guarantee. "It might lead us to something, but that's taking things to chance."
Riku turned to the door. "It's the only chance we really got. Okay, are we ready?" Sora felt his courage return. "Y..Yeah." He turned to the Slann. "Thanks for the tip, we'll take it from here."
The Slann slowly drifted to sleep, Riku and Sora went past the door into a burning landscape and heard the sound of people screaming. Goofy and Donald were completely horrified and Ken looked on. To the front was a city in flames and what looked like pikes, with men, women and children impaled, Sora looked to the left and saw trampled bodies of peasants that tried to get away from the slaughter, he clenched his fists, looked to a depressed Riku and asked. "We... kind of knew this is what we were going to see. Let's get in that city."
Riku took a deep breath and looked like he wanted to hit something. "If we find a Warrior of Chaos, or a Beastmen or anything with the insignias... we're ending them." He listened and heard the sound of Norsemen, he lead the charge.
In the Path of the Green.
Kairi and Mickey found themselves exactly where Wurzzag story left off, in a burning town with a hell colored sky. Grimgor looked around confused and barked to Skarsnit. "What the zog did ya do, Gobbo?!" The Goblin stepped back and answered. "How if I know? I'd been following dem stinking rats and sneaked into dis ummie town."
Grimgor growled and heard the sound of foes coming, Warriors of Chaos and daemons alike, the Orc ordered Skarsnit. "Den come along if ya want, but if ya get in my way, you'z dead!" He ordered his Waagh. "Come on boyz! Let's kill some Chaos gits!" WAAAAAAAGH!
With the aura of the beasts, enveloping Grimgor and his Immortalz as they rushed into the Forces of Chaos. PEW! PEW!
The sight of someone teleporting caught the keybearers interest and more fighting ensuing, she and Mickey followed the destruction and found Grimgor doing battle against a black dragon that has a sinister dark elf on it's back. The Warboss punched the dragon in the face, knocked it down and jumped on it's back, ready to punch the elf in the face. "Ya ready ta die, Spiky Elf."
The elf swayed his hand and insist. "Wait, now isn't the time to waist on a weakling like me. There is someone here that is worth your time, Black Orc." Grimgor's good ear twitched. "Yeah, right. Grimgor iz da best around, you'z just making me bored." The Spiky Elf put his hand under his chin. "Really, that's not what this Spiky Boy thinks. One with a fiery horse, three eyes and a... killy sword. He thinks, he's the best." Grimgor gasped. "Ya lying!" The elf shook his head. "Oh it is something you need to hear for yourself, he wants to smash everything you considered worth a fight and leave it all for himself. There won't be any for you if he wins."
Grimgor didn't even laugh. "He stealing my waagh?! I'll take dat helmet and shove it's horn so far up his arse, he'll be tasting brass before he dies and den I'll come stomp da rest when I'm done."
He jumped off and ordered his Immortalz. "Come on, we'z got chaos boyz to kill." He and the Immortalz took off, leaving the Dark elf to dust himself and fly high to give a signal, a small group, of a man with a warhammer, a man with a golden mask, three elves and a particular lich charging to a temple that had something glowing. Kairi and Mickey followed Grimgor to see who he is going to fight with, Orc, Ogre, Goblin and Undead fought against the forces of Chaos and heard hellish neighing.
Grimgor found someone, a menacing armored man with a three eyed helmet, a burning sword and a hell horse for a steed. Grimgor lowered his axe in a challenge as the Chaos Lord reared his steed, a sudden, desperate battle cry was heard, a Sora appeared to try and strike the Chaos Lord, his blade faded through it, the boy realize the thing isn't something that was going to attack the two exhaled in relief and turned. "Kairi, your Majesty, that's Archaon!"
Kairi gasped, looked at the chaos lord with horror and saw a shield fling over a ruined ramp, Goofy and Riku took the leard as Donald and Ken used air magic to send it flying. Skid! The shield landed and the four saw the battle initiate, the hell horse charged and trampled the littering bodies, Grimgor was more focused on when to strike than the nightmare coming at him.
Sora met up and explained. "We've found out about who Archaon is, he's a lot more dangerous than we thought." Riku is seeing the havoc all around, from Skaven, to the Orcs, Undead and forces of Chaos, it was an all out war zone. "It's what he want's to do with Kingdom Hearts that is the problem." Kairi is putting it together quickly, gasped in horror and is realizing Grimgor is about to fight a losing battle. Archaon charged at the Orc, sword first and aimed for his skull, Grimgor spun anticlockwise, took a sword to his good ear and smashed his axe at the Everchosen, who blocked with his shield and was knocked off his horse. Grimgor pounced on Archaon and swung his axe repeatedly, dealing deep scratch marks on the armor. The Everchosen yelled and lashed out his blade on Grimgor's chest, forcing Grimgor to stagger off, Archaon leaped on his feet and was attacked again.
The crew watched a fight so intense that their eyes refused to look away, Kairi and Mickey silently routed for Grimgor, despite knowing what the outcome was. Archaon trust the Slayer of Kings in the path of the great axe, the axe was used to push against the sword. Both warriors pressed against each other, looking to each other eye to eye, the Orc had naught a hint of fear and head butted Archaon, sending him staggering back and acting like he was blinded somewhere, Riku and Sora saw the Eye of Sheerian cracked, the helmet dint. They joined in the silent cheer, Grimgor slowly approached and Archaon snarled. "I will not be felled by a Beast, I am Archaon! I am the end made flesh!" He taunted. "What do you say to that, animal?"
Grimgor laughed. "Grimgor says, shut up and die!" Archaon whispered to his sword and caused it to spark in unholy power, the Everchosen yelled in fury and Grimgor attempted to block and strike, Archaon quickly parried and cut into him, quickly overwhelming the fearless orc with more open cuts. Grimgor, did not give up and crossed blades.
SHATTER!
His axe's haft was hacked away, despite that, Grimgor used the blunt of his weapon like a wacking stick, staggering Archaon again as the shaft splintered, the Orc tossed the weapon and reached for Archaons throat.
SLASH!
The Everchosen laughed and slashed his sword at Grimgors neck, severing the Orcs head, Archaon turned to his steed without giving Grimgor a glance, the Orc's body let loose an orange essence. Kairi slowed her breathing and looked upon Grimgor's body with both respect and sorrow, Ken wished he could shoot Archaon and heard something happen, Mickey turned to where the Temple is. "This can't be how this world ends." Riku swallowed and signaled. "Like it or not, we need to see it. Come on, this will be more than enough."
At the Temple.
Ana and Halvek saw the apocalypse unfolding and seeing a growing hellish rift above the Temple, a massive bloodthirster, lost a battle against a band composing of, four elves, one that looks dark and sinister, a man in a metal mask and Nagash, they witnessed a rift across reality, bleeding open like a wound and unleashing the doom of the world, walking out of the temple was Sigmar, with Ghal-Maraz, he rushed at the Bloodthirster and finished him off with the mighty hammer as the Northmen and Daemons approached, Archaon approached and signaled Sigmar out. "You dare to show yourself after allowing your Empire to rot?"
The God King locked eyes with the Everchosen. "To think that a son of the Empire, would lead ruin to Mankind, you could have lead it's people towards a brighter age than this." Archaon rapidly breathed in and out, his fire sparked. "You consider that now?! WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS HOUNDED BY THE GODS?!" Dorghar galloped to aid his master, whos screamed. "YOU ARE A COWARD WHO HIDES BEHIND A FALSE IDOL!" Sigmar charged back and clashed blows with the Everchosen, the earth shook and Archaon went into a complete frenzy. "YOU LET THE GODS TEAR DOWN THE WORLD!"
TINK! TINK! TINK!
Sigmar swung back as hard against the Slayer of Kings and the shield that went along with it for his own accusation. "You've slaughtered your own people! And wrought this upon us all! You've gave up!" Archaon bashed Sigmar in the face, disarmed the Warhammer and readied to strike Sigmar in the neck. "AND I SHALL BRING RUIN TO EVEN THE GODS! YOU WILL WATCH YOUR WORLD, BURN!"
Swoosh! Suddenly, a grey wolf appeared in flickering fire and blocked the blow, yelping and scattering, Sigmar saw that, had a tear shed and yelled in rage, unleashing the power of a storm as Archaon swung again, the force shattered the Slayer of Kings, Archaon gasped. "NO! NOOOO!"
He tried to rush Sigmar with his bare hands, the God King called his Hammer to him, smacked Archaon in various locations, pushed him back and with a mighty swing, sent Archaon and Dorghar flying into the warp rift. Ana and Halvek felt a breath, one of the elves, in silver and golden armor that was complimented by a helm with wings, was relieved. "Sigmar, we need to close this rift! We must use the Winds of Magic to force it close." Sigmar agreed and focused, he drew out the power of the Azyr, the lead elf with the power of Hysh, the dark elf in Ulgu, the elf queen in Ghyran, an elf wizard in Aqshy and of Ghur, the golden masked man in Chamon and Nagash in Shyish. They circled around in an attempt to undo the warp rift, Halvek noticed someone coming from another corner, Ven and Aqua, they were looking for someone and noticed someone coming for the Incarnate of Chamon, a vampire with a blade.
Aqua cringed and rushed at him. "Stop this at once, Mannfred!" Woosh! She rushed past the illusion and is realizing what is going to happen, Ven knew he was about to see disaster and turned to see the group, Riku saw the Vampire about to plunge his dagger at the unaware Incarnate of Chamon, the one chance the world had.
STAB!
The Vampire stabbed the Incarnate in the back and caused a burst of golden power to flow into the elf wizard, causing a back lash that caused him to explode and power the power of Metal, Beasts and Fire into the rift, the rest of the elves and Sigmar were knocked off to the ground and Nagash was disintegrating, he recognized Mannfred and sprinted at him. "Mannfred! YOU IMBECILE!" He lunged with his hands ready to strangle the Vampire and collapsed, the Vampire laughed as the power of Death flowed into the vortex. "Ha! The power is mine, Necromancer, now I will rule this world."
He approached the vortex as the elf of Hysh was about to stab him in the chest, Aqua wheezed and watched the touch of Chaos shoot at Mannfred and started to drive him in a frenzy. Howling in confused lunacy and angering Aqua to where she tried to attack again, actually hitting him and cutting into him. Mannfred swung at Aqua and was stabbed from behind by Ventus, his blade sparked in electricity and he wanted to curse at him, he closed his eyes and flung Mannfred into the rift, the elven Incarnate began to get sucked into the rift and the Guardian's of Light felt the pull.
Donald tried to push away and saw from the far distance of the city, an infernal with many faces heading towards them. He panicked and screamed. "What's going on now?" Aqua bit her lips. "This is how the World That Was Ended, one selfish idiot ruined the one chance it had!"
Sigmar tried to push against the rift as the world he done everything for, became undone, then, something crawled out of the rift, Archaon, driven into a howling rage. "SIGMAR!"
He rushed the God King, grabbed the Warhammer and tried to wrestle it out of him in a rage that felt incredible, they struggled and pulled, knocking each other into the rift, then the armies that fought, began to pull, a variety of Orcs, Ogres and Goblins were sucked in, Mickey saw Skarsnik grab onto a post and screaming. "Not good, not good!"
The post broke along with a chunk of the earth, the remains of the city, is being drawn into the chaotic rift. Then, the Guardian's of Light felt the pull as well, Goofy had a look at the approaching chaos and saw a blizzard, Halvek saw a slew of purple tentacles and felt the earth snap, they get sucked into the rift and witnessed a bright red light with eldritch laughing things awaiting them. Followed by nothing, they fell into an endless void, feeling their minds drift into eternity, until a spec of light clinging to a solid core, that light, prayed for a miracle, something of the stars appeared in the void.
Then the vision faded and the group found themselves in the End of the eldritch town, with a crystal door awaiting them and of a mysterious Prophet looking upon them, a blue rift opened and he readied to leave. "Get going, Garland awaits you."
Riku felt the intense darkness in the man and barked. "Hold it!" He got in the man's way. "We need answers!" The Prophet contemplated attacking the boy and Kairi asked. "Was that how the World That Was ended?! One man causing it all to get swallowed in Chaos?"
The Prophet exhaled. "Yes and those were the lucky ones, the rest were at the mercy of the daemons and of the laughing gods." That nearly caused Ken to scream again and Riku screamed out. "And now Archaon is wanting to do THAT to us all?! But I want to know, how did the Realms form from that?" Sora gasped and realized. "Because someone kept holding onto that world, until he fell to it's heart... then a miracle happened, one that gave it a second chance." He blinked to that and turned to the panicking group. "Come on guys, it isn't over yet. Let's give Garland a piece of our minds and get out of here, we still got time."
Riku growled and stepped out of the way, he asked the Prophet. "How did you even get here in the first place?" The Prophet smirked. "Ask the Keyblade Master. You don't need me to explain everything to you all." He jumped into the rift and disappeared, frustrating Riku to where he asked Aqua. "You seriously trusted this guy?"
The Keyblade Master nodded without hesitation. "He's been the one making sure some of us was able to process this and once upon a time he's dealt with something like what we are right now. For now, let's just forget about him. His business in past events doesn't involve us anymore."
The silver haired teenager believed that. "Good, he gives me the creeps." He lead the way past the door and into the crystal palace of Pandemonium, a labyrinth of stairs, twists and turns, Kairi felt it was going to be a long climb, noticed swarm of demonic looking heartless and a strange dark, multi winged angel with yellow eyes. "So, what did we all see?"
