Author's note : It is taking a longer time to post between parts because the story I wrote 15 years ago is mostly starting when Voldemort goes to kill harry potter and follows books and such… I am adding everything you have seen from scratch and trying to fill in years with tom at Hogwarts but also a somewhat relationship with eventually Yaxley. Originally, Gellert wasn't even in my story so it's a big plus! Also, I am developing a lot of Seth's character (who's original name is William :P ) And, in my bio, I did write I am a mother of 4 children, so bare with me to try to write when I can and I am going back to work on Monday the 29th of november full time. I hope you enjoy as much as I am writing this. It is also rated M because there will be eventually some sex involved (O.O) . I am obsessed with my story, sometimes staring blankly at my screen for a long time.

The purpose part 5

Chapter 19

It seemed Tom wanted to give Seth the silent treatment, for he only stayed in his library until the holidays were done. Seth did not mind, it sure could have been a shock to anyone and Tom took it relatively… fine. He could not feel Tom's emotions, because they seemed so conflicted. On the way back, they each read a book, without uttering a word.

Classes resumed and Tom performed as usual, the best in his class and admired from students and teachers. Seth and Tom only talked for homework and in classes for teamwork. Yaxley seemed to have noticed something was off and so he was making conversation with Seth every chance he could. He didn't mind because Yaxley could be very interesting and funny and also asked a lot of questions for the care of magical creatures class and Seth gladly helped him for they had that in common.

The end of their third year had come and so they parted ways, once again. Seth stayed home alone, for the two longest months of his life. He was laying on his king-sized bed like a star. He wondered where his parents were now. He still had used the time turner as often as he could so that his body could follow his supposed magical age. He hoped he could be at his maximum power so that he could follow his parents, at least. He sighed. I wish I could have an epiphany or something, he thought.

The teachers had given assignments for the summer and Seth had already done them. He passed his 25th birthday with Kathleen who tried to cheer him up. She had a silly toy in her mouth that does sound and it did make Seth laugh. *I wonder how old I really am… I used the time turner so much those last 2.5 years.* He made a quick mental calculation and scoffed. *Not even a year more.* He said. Kathleen had a questioning look on her. *You are already about 5.5 feet and so handsome, you wanted to be taller? I have seen you grow up, my dear prince, and never thought I would hold a baby for so many years!* She chuckled. Seth made a waving hand gesture. *I want to be tall for not been seen like a child anymore.* He said. And plunge my fangs into adults, he continued in his mind. He thought about Grindelwald, still prisoner. Since his reveal to Tom last Christmas, he noticed he had more and more a hard time controlling himself and Gellert's blood only seem to temporarily calm him down. His eyes diverted to Kathleen's neck and her veins were pulsing through her skin. A flash of him biting Kathleen passed through his mind. He shook his head and got up. *Thanks a lot, Kathleen, I had a wonderful day with you.* said the prince.

He went to his bedroom and sat on his bed, hands on his face. What's happening to him? Kathleen raised me and here I could just have taken her blood without controlling myself. Seth paced around his room; he wished his parents were here. He can't go back to school if he cannot control himself. He thought about the muggle servants for his parents and went to press the button beside his bed. His hands were shaking. He looked outside the windows and icy rain was falling. A knock was heard and Seth ordered to enter. As the vampire servant pushed the door, Seth practically yelled *Bring me a human!* and the servant bowed before leaving.

Seth was standing close to his door, waiting and hearing heartbeats, he thought the human was close but it was his own heartbeat he was hearing, dangerously fast. He felt his fangs grow and his eyes turn black, his tail was whipping left to right. The servant came back and as soon as he opened the door with the muggle, Seth said *Leave us.* at the servant who closed the door and left. The muggle was a woman with several bite scars on her wrists. She seemed unphased by the prince's appearance. Seth took her right arm and smelled her. She smelled so good, like flowers. He had never taken blood from his parent's muggles nor from a willing person. His father always said they taste so much better when given willingly and that he would probably discover so many different aspects of bloodletting. It was not the same to drink to kill, feed, sire a new vampire or even give pleasure. Seth's heart was resonating in his ears. He could see all her circulating system throughout her body, all the places he could bite for slow flow or not. He grabbed her face with both of his hands and looked in her greyish eyes. Her curled brown hair was shoulder length and fell lovingly around her face. He caressed her lips with his right thumb. *What's your name?* He whispered to her. *Lucy.* she said. *How long have you been with us, Lucy?* asked the prince. *You were a newborn when I first saw you, the first time I served your family and your mother had asked for blood and there I was.* Answered Lucy. Lucy was slightly shorter than Seth, something that greatly pleased him. He brought his mouth close to her neck and smelled her again, putting his left hand behind her head and his right on her back. *And to this day, you still willingly serve us?* He whispered. Her neck was baren and had never been touched. Her voice was trembling, her heart accelerating. *Y… yes.* Seth plunged his teeth in her neck making her stiffened, but not from pain. The blood poured in his mouth and made Seth moan in pleasure. It was not for her magic, not for her powers. It was a need to feed, to feed his vampire side. He finally felt his insides scream in joy, just like food would be to humans when fed after starving for so long. No more cold blood from a vial. No more! Lucy fell unconscious, but alive. He put her on his bed, gently. He smiled, he was satisfied, his heartbeat was slow again and was physically back to normal. He closed his eyes and sighed. If he didn't find a solution to his new problem, he couldn't go back to Hogwarts.

Chapter 20

He wrote a letter to his parents telling them what happened since the last Christmas and how he was nervous at finding a solution. He would let them know if he found something. He looked at the owl fly until he disappeared in the clouds, wondering if the owl would even find his parents, especially if they keep apparating everywhere on the planet. Seth went to the library to get a map of Hogwarts but did not find any. Crap. Now then, he did find a few secret passages from the three years passed there and his multiple night escapes, like the kitchen and the house elves. There was also one he only recently found by hearing rats in the walls and was directly from their common room to a giant tree in the forbidden forest. It was very deep and so narrow it had taken him several nights to clear a decent pathway. The cleared pathway took a whole hour to reach the tree in the forest. Could he hide muggles somewhere? No, they would either die or not see the castle or even wizards in Hogsmead would tell muggles were not supposed to be there. He scratched his head in exasperation.

He also did several tests, like how long could he go without direct human blood, if his blood from the vials were still fine and even eating food. It did not go well. He could not tolerate food anymore, even tried his favorite and was stuck with stomach pains for hours. Gellert's blood could maintain his concentration for 2 weeks before he asked for Lucy again. Three days was his limit without any blood whatsoever. At last resort, he went to the stables and wondered if horse blood would be fine. He could speak to them and had known them since their birth. He approached his horse named Thunder, gently petting him. *I need your help, Thunder, I wont hurt you, but I need you to stay still for a moment.* Seth whispered. He had brought a knife but before cutting, he said a numbing spell to the horse with his wand. He cut Thunder on a shoulder and blood started dripping. Seth closed his mouth on the wound and drank. It was not pleasant or pleasurable, but it was at least satisfying and calmed his hunger. Thunder made a low neigh and slowly pushed Seth's head with his nose, interrupting the session. *Thanks, Thunder.* Seth said before healing the wound with his wand. He gently pat the horse and left the stables. While walking back to the castle, he thought about the possibilities. There were no horses at Hogwarts, but thestrals and unicorns. Unicorn blood is cursed and he wouldn't dare touch it. Thestrals, would probably let him. He snorted, how about I just feed off students and obliviate them? His laugh echoed in the dark night. He had found a temporary solution, for he knew his nature would probably get the best of him. Seth went back to his room, to write again to his parents, telling them he may had found a solution.

Chapter 21

The day before school started, he went to see Grindelwald. Upon seeing Seth, he got up and went close to his cell bars. He was very well taken care of, always cleaned, and fed properly. *Well, how many years has it already been since I last saw you, you look like a grown man! Said Gellert. Seth was surprised since it had been only a year. Servants had taken Gellert's blood for Seth the day before. He thought about how Lucy's blood was so good when she was letting him and wondered if he had the skills to make Gellert want to. Nor would he have guessed he did not need any skills.

*Thanks, Gellert, its all thanks to you, is it not?* Seth whispered. Gellert chuckled. *Right, why would the prince honor me with his presence?* He answered. Seth went closer to the cell and put his forehead on the bars. *I was wondering, if you would taste the same as your blood in the vials.?* Purred Seth. Gellert looked at Seth weirdly. The prince was marvellously beautiful. His aristocratic features, his pale blue eyes like the ocean, his white silvery hair that almost shone in the dark. Gellert grabbed some of Seth's hair and it was so silky it fell through his fingers like water. Grindelwald had always loved men and it did not take much from the prince's charms to work on him. Gellert put his forehead on Seth's, feeling the cold bars separating them. *Why don't you come find out? My lord.* Gellert whispered back. The cell's lock had opened and without leaving his sight, Seth had opened the door brushing his hands against each cell bars making slowly his way into Gellert's cell. The middle-aged wizard pulled Seth to him, grabbing his head and his back, deeply kissing the prince. Seth was taken by surprise, he never thought anyone would have even dared to grab him or even kiss him. Gellert was experienced and it showed greatly. He had been alone for so long. He even took it a step further and bit his own tongue. Seth tasted the blood coming from Gellert's mouth and instantly had black eyes. Seth's tail went around both of them and he forced the wizard to even be closer to him. Grindelwald moaned and bit his tongue again for more blood. Seth was ecstatic, he felt power coming out of the man and reaching every fiber of his being, the warm blanket over his heart became as hot as fire.

It was too much.

Seth interrupted the kiss and violently pushed away the old wizard. He closed the cell door and locked it, hands still on the bars, breathing fast. Gellert walked back to the cell door and put his forehead on the bars again, looking down and crossing his arms around the bars. *I thought you liked that… I, on the other hand, adored the feeling and would gladly do it again, sire.* He whispered while licking his lips. A very dark aura was still emanating from him and Seth had a very hard time to resist and lunge at him. Seth lifted his head and looked directly in Gellert's eyes. *I would gladly do it again, Gellert, but then you wouldn't be so alive anymore.* Responded the prince. He turned his back, leaving, and whipped Gellert's fingers with his tail who let out a scream of pain. His hands were now bleeding and before Seth left the cell room, he said *You have a delectable smell, Grindelwald.* Gellert started laughing and echoed in the room. *YOU'LL HAVE TO COME BACK SOON, MY PRINCE! AND YOU'LL BE MINE! MINE!*

Chapter 22

Seth entered their usual train compartment, always finding Tom's aura easily. Yaxley and Nott joined them not too long after. They greeted each other happily and talked about their summer. Tom mumbled something about a cave but changed subject quickly. The rest of the ride was uneventful.

Welcoming ceremony was the same and they cheered for the new Slytherins. The feast appeared in front of them after another speech from Dippet. Yaxley was in deep conversation with Seth. The prince talked with him because he wanted to hide that he just couldn't eat food anymore. He had taken magical blood from Gellert the day before and perhaps he could go on longer with fresh wizard blood. He sighed and rubbed his temples. *What's wrong, headache?* asked Yaxley. Seth shook his head. *No, I am stressed.* He answered. Yaxley had a worried face. *School just started and you are stressed?* He asked. *Right, Corban, like everything is about school.* Sneered the prince, who excused himself and left for the dorm. Tom followed him shortly after.

Seth was siting at a table in the common room, reading the charm book 4th year. All the other students were still feasting. Tom sat beside Seth, who had stopped reading and looked at Tom. *I saw you did not eat and you feel different from Christmas, stronger.* said Tom. Seth immediately felt envy coming out of Tom. *What's wrong Tom, that doesn't sound like you.* Said Seth with narrowed eyes. Tom stiffened and looked angry. *I searched for answers, even the little time I had in your library, you do NOT appear anywhere, are you even…. Immortal?* Curiosity, anger and envy was what Seth felt coming out of Tom. Seth stood up. *I do not know why I'm here, Tom, and you have to stop being mad at me for something I don't know or for who I am. I am no danger to you, unless you want it otherwise. I still think of you as my dearest friend.* Seth had replied with sincerity, hoping Tom would finally talked to him like before. Seth went by the fireplace and sat down. Tom walked to the sofa, putting his hands on top, where Seth sat. His voice seemed lighter as he spoke to Seth. *Are you okay?* Tom asked. Seth sighed and shook his head. *No. But I manage. I'm all alone in this.* he answered and looked at Tom. *I can't wait for school to finish, so maybe then, I can change something.* said Seth. *I want to change things too.* Replied Tom maliciously. Students entered the common room, so they stopped talking.

Chapter 23

Three weeks. Seth was standing beside a thestrals, petting the one he knew most. His hand was shaking. He sighed *Hey there. * He whispered to the thestrals gently. That one was the biggest he knew and most proud. He had seen him pulling the carriages alone for the students and teachers. He sometimes saw him fly out the forest from the astronomy classes. He was truly a dark beauty. The thestral made a whining sound and gently pushed Seth's shoulder. *You know what I want, right?* He asked and the thestral neighed in a high pitch noise. Seth pointed his wand at it's shoulder and said the numbing spell. He then cut the thestral with his dagger and the blood started dripping. The thestral blood was a bluish red in color and Seth suddenly wondered if that was a good idea. He brushed the blood with his finger and brought it to his mouth. It tasted awful and he instantly knew it would NOT work.

I have to leave, now.

He let out a small crying sound. His hands shook even more. He tried to think clearly of where to go before he couldn't. He drank from his vial, which contained Gellert's blood, oh so cold, and shivered. His stomach growled with hunger. Why? WHY DID IT NOT WORK ANYMORE! IT'S STILL BLOOD FOR FUCKS SAKE! Seth was so mad he threw his vial in the air and cursed it and it exploded, scaring the thestrals away. A flash of him kissing Gellert came back, only to make him want to go back to his arms. His parents seemed exhausted when he last saw them, but he knew they liked killing, even if it was their own. How he wished he was with them at that moment, so alone and desperate of his situation. Why was he born that way? Why did he want to rip throats and bathe in blood so bad. 25 long years to grow in this body, so slowly and he was finally tall enough to do something for his kind, to be with his parents. He knew magic and everything at school was dull and boring. Living with some teenagers still so young and only Tom seemed mature enough to speak to.

Seth yelled again. His voice echoed in the trees making birds fly away. Suddenly, a centaur came into his view. He was very tall and imposing and had brown hair, fur, and dark eyes. *Are you lost in here? Youngling, this forest is not safe for students.* The centaur had asked with a deep voice and with a worried face, not seeing Seth's features in the dark. Youngling. Seth smirked at the centaur. *Yes, I am.* Seth used his speed for the first useful time and ran to the centaur and mounted him. He grabbed his head and torso and plunged his teeth in his neck. The surprised centaur never saw him coming and tried to buck and made harsh turns, jumped, everything to remove Seth from his back. But the prince was strong and powerful, never let him go until the centaur fell down. As the centaur touched the ground, Seth got knocked away from the imposing sheer force of the fall. He quickly got up, his mouth covered in blood. Centaur's blood. How convenient and delicious. Seth knew the centaur was still alive from hearing the low heartbeat. There was no way he could leave the centaur alive for he would tell either his tribe, or Dumbledore. Seth pointed his wand at him. He knew the words, the same as the Doloris he once used before. The blood had satisfied greatly his hunger, maybe even more because he had absolutely loved taking it by force this time. He felt his fingers tingling, waiting for the curse.

*Avada Kedavra* Seth whispered the deadly words and with a flash of green light, the centaur was no more. The dark magic swelled in his body, making him dizzy and euphoric. Seth had a burst of laughter in the dead of the night. *Oh, wow.* No wonder Gellert is freaking crazy. After a few minutes to compose himself, he looked at the centaur's body with a grave look. With a swish of his wand and a healing spell, he removed the mark of his bite on the centaur. He also cleaned all the blood on himself, the ground and the centaur's skin. He grabbed the centaur's head and broke it violently. Let them decided how the centaur was killed, for he had erased any vampire signs.

Could he speak to Tom about things like this? To feel… less alone, understood? He went back to his dorm, wondering again, what will happen in the next weeks. Yes, he needed to talk with Tom.

Author's note: YESSS, another thing to add in year 4, the cravings of Seth ^^ and who will he bite next? Tom? Yaxley? Another centaur? Muawhahhaha. Part 6 sometimes Wednesday or Thursday hopefully.
