Another Pokemon RP, this one featuring one of my OCs. Which of course means he's a pokemon-human hybrid. A little background. Nishita is in that limbo where you're strong enough to beat the Elite Four but not strong enough to beat the Champion, but he's a determined SOB, and keeps challenging Cynthia over and over despite suffering what most would consider a humiliating loss each time. Between that and the blonde champion meeting with him whenever he pays a visit to Celestic Town, the two powerful trainers develop feelings for each other. As to whether or not they confess...well that's what this story is about. So without further ado!

Darkness and Light, Into the Chaos!

Nishita got off of Astrea, recalling her as he looked around. It was odd for him to be called here, but he figured Cynthia had a reason. Cynthia was out for a stroll with her Garchomp and Kommo-O. The two dragons were her strongest teammates. She soon saw Nishita and went over.

"Cynthia, hey!" he greeted. "So what's up? Your grandma said it was important."

"Indeed. Now, I know you've fought me many times, and still have yet to win."

"I'll win, just you wait." Nishita replied with a familiar competitive glint in his eye

Cynthia smirked. "Maybe this time."

"Is this a challenge, miss Undefeated Champion?" Nishita asked with a raised brow and amused smirk.

"Depends... how certain are you that you'll win?"

"You and I both know you only won last time cause Rose's Mega Drain went wide." Nishita shot back with a grin. "A fact I was going to show you next month when I wipe the floor with all the other entrants in the league and your Elite Four."

"Remind yourself that talk is cheap. It is your ACTIONS that hold more worth." Cynthia said.

"Words to live by." Nishita nodded. "Now, we doing this or is this about something else?"

"A bit of that, yes. But... has my grandmother been talking with you lately?"

"A bit. Mostly when a certain someone doesn't call for a while." The blue haired trainer said pointedly. "And then there are the times she just wants to chat, tell me some old stories about Sinnho cause she knows I love them." He tilted his head. "Why?"

"Well, she's been on my tail for some time, wanting grandkids."

"That so?" he asked, an unfamiliar feeling welling up I side him. "Anyone in particular she had in mind, or just wants you to find a guy?"

"Well, I know she loves you."

Nishita started at her in confusion. "I guess, but I doubt she'd want me to date you." he replied. "Woman as amazing as you deserves someone who's just as awesome."

"Oh, she wants you to do MORE than date me." Cynthia said. "Heck, I think she thinks we're already dating."

"Seriously?" Nishita asked. "What have her that idea? I mean yeah, when our visits to town line up, we tend to hang out and banter... And there was that time I bought us dinner at that new cafe..." he listed off. "But I did that with Barry and Dawn, and we're just friends."

"Probably how often you come to see me. She figures you just can't stay away from me."

"That so?" The hybrid muttered.

"Indeed."

Nishita thought it over. "Well, in the end it's 50% up to you who you date." he said after a while.

"What about the other half?"

"Well, that's up to the guy, isn't it?" Nishita replied with a chuckle.

"True. But... what do you say? What would you think of dating me?"

Nishita blushed scarlet. "W-well I can't say I'd be opposed. But come on, you're way out of my league." he said with a nervous laugh.

"You don't know that." Cynthia replied. "Besides, I know of a professor who married a former regional champion. Perhaps if you take a chance, who knows... Maybe you're my type?"

"But are you sure you want me?" Nishita asked.
Before Cynthia could respond, the premiere ball on his belt opened to reveal a Lucario. "Father, I'm bored." The Aura Pokemon complained before taking notice of who they were with. "Are we challenging Mother again?" she asked curiously.
Nishita's face became deep red instantly. "Kyano! When did you start calling her Mother?" he demanded
Kyano tilted her head to the side. "Isn't she?"

Of course, Cynthia only got half the conversation, her crush's Lucario speaking in norm pokespeak to her.

Garchomp and Kommo-O chuckled as they listened in.

Nishita heard the two pseudo legendaries chuckling and turned to Cynthia in panic. "I am so sorry about that! I had no idea she started calling you-wait you're human so you can't understand her." he realized.

"Maybe so... But I can understand Garchomp, and she can understand you." Cynthia said.

Nishita's relief was dashed as his embarrassed blush returned with a vengeance.

Garchomp then talked with Cynthia, telling her what she heard. "So your Lucario sees me as her mom?"

"Apparently." Nishita replied nervously.

"Well, I wouldn't mind her being my daughter. She's a tough girl."

Kyano smirked at the praise, crossing her arms confidently and nodding. Nishita just couldn't figure out what to make of the turn this conversation had taken.

"Garchomp has been looking for a sister." Cynthia added.

Kyano looked at Garchomp before smirking. "I certainly wouldn't mind." she admitted.
"Seriously, what the hell is going on now?" Nishita asked in confusion.

Cynthia laughed. "You tell me."

"I have no idea. First we're talking about how Granny wants you to find a good guy to date, then we're talking about how Kyano thinks of you as her mom." Nishita recapped before blushing.

"That's quite an interesting turn."

"I know, right?" The hybrid asked, all pokemon present chuckling at his dismay.
"Father is rather dense, so you're going to have to say it directly, Mother." Kyano informed, Garchomp translating for her.

"Still, I would not mind if we dated. You're a very brave and handsome young man. You never give up, no matter how many times you have lost to me."

Nishita's blush increased as he stammered out, "W-well if it's r-r-really me you want, I'd be willing to t-t-try."

She giggled and walked over closer.

"C-Cynthia?" Nishita asked nervously.

"Then let's make it official." Cynthia said.

Nodding, he took a deep breath to calm down. "Cynthia, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

She smiled and hugged his neck, looking him in the eyes. "I'd be delighted."

Blushing at the beautiful blonde's closeness, he shoved his nerves down and returned the embrace. Kyano smiled as her parents officially became a couple. Then a familiar scent hit her nose. "Mother, Father, we're not alone." she informed.

The two looked to her. "What is it?"

"Any idea who it is?" Nishita questioned, disengaging from Cynthia and calling on his own powers.
Kyano shook her head. "Familiar, but I can't place it. Shall I investigate?"

"What's going on?"

"We're being watched." Nishita informed. "Kyano, get a lock on them."

The Lucario nodded before closing her eyes, focusing. A second later, she pointed around the corner. "There." she declared.

"Wait, isn't that the direction of...Granny! Quit hiding!" Nishita groaned, dismissing the Luster Purge he was building.

Cynthia busted out laughing. Sure enough, Cynthia's grandmother came around the corner with a sheepish smile. "I'm so glad to see you both together." she said. "But try not to give me grandkids too early, you hear?"

Nishita blushed redder than Flint's afro. "Granny!" he moaned in embarrassment.

"Relax. We only just started."

"Why are you not embarrassed?" Nishita asked.

"I'm just amused."

The hybrid pouted, grumbling about "pretty blondes who can't have their composure broken."

She giggled and pecked his cheek. He froze, unable to process what had just happened. Granny giggled, seeing the hybrid shut down. "I think you broke him, dear." she informed

"I think so... How do I fix him?" she asked cluelessly.

"Maybe another kiss?" Kyano suggested, thoroughly amused at her father's broken state. "Right on his lips!" she added.

Garchomp translated for her. Cynthia blushed, but liked the idea. So she walked over and planted a soft kiss on his lips. To Kyano's surprise, it actually worked as Nishita snapped out of his stupor and kissed back, wrapping his arms around Cynthia's waist. She softly sighed. After a minute, they separated. Nishita had a decidedly dopey grin on his face. "That was amazing."

"Indeed." Cynthia agreed.

"So...you wanna get dinner tomorrow night? Dawn was telling me about this great restaurant in Hearthrome City before I headed over here."

"I'd love to."

"Great! I'll pick you up at 7?" the hybrid suggested.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Alright then." Nishita smiled before his poketch went off. "Yeah yeah. I hear you." he groaned, silencing the alarm. "Kyano, we gotta meet with your uncle soon, or you know he's gonna throw a fit."
"Right." Kyano sighed, hugging Cynthia before retreating to Nishita's side. "See you later Mother, Big Sis!" she waved as Nishita once again called for Astrea.

Cynthia giggled as she and her two dragons watched them run off. She then went home to get herself ready.

And done! Lot more talking in this one than we normally do, but hey it works.

Fun Fact, I actually beat Cynthia on the day I posted this. I honestly thought I would lose again, but her pokemon kept going down while mine were still standing. I spent the whole Hall of Fame process in a stupor because I just couldn't believe my eyes. Anyone else feel like that when you beat her?

Anyway, leave a review with your thoughts, big thanks to Foxboy614 for writing it with me, and see you all next time!
