The Zoldyck family has been around for many generations but one particular generation was one of possibly powerful and that young generation just happened to be entering the stages of the early stages of the more modern times. The 2100's. During these times, people all over the world had started to develop special powers, and later was named "Quirks."
As Quirks grew more and more popular, the new job of being a "Hero" became more in demand and slowly the knowledge of Nen became less and less known since Quirks were the new ideal power of the future. Slowly as years went by, it became a merely a story, a rare tale told to children. But that wasn't the end of the huge changes though. Culture and society began to change and everything became more civilized and advanced.
Refusing to let go of their old traditions, they went into hiding for the time being, trying to keep of what the world was back before "Quirks" came along.
One of the big damaging changes was the Hunters and Assassins were less known and were needed very little in the lines of profession of work. Which was an alarming problem since their main profession was Assassination.
So in order to upload their fame and reputation, they decided their best chance to make good of their future was to "let go" some of their traditions and attempt build a company with what of the fortune they had left. Fortunately, it turned out to be very successful.
The Zoldyck's name once again grew famous.
Despite being famous again, all of family members all agreed to keep their former background a secret in order to comply with modern laws and not risk losing their ownership of the company.
Lots of people noticed this and started asking questions or theorizing about it online.
But it eventually escalated into many people arguing over the absent background of the Zoldyck family, one of the biggest rumors flowing around were many of them claiming to of heard they were once Assassins by the older civilians that lived there.
Of course, nobody took them seriously but saying it was just stupid rumors, not believing a family having of such fame and reputation would ever stoop that low to do such a horrible, wicked thing.
However, no family member ever bothered to correct any of them. Even in an interview with some family, when the question was brought up, mostly as a joke. They had just brushed it off, giving them a indirect answer instead.
While people wildly searched for evidence. No proof was ever brought to bring to the attention of the authorities or any of the higher-ups. The Zoldyck's done a good job at keeping all of their remaining background information tightly underaps, the rest of it was destroyed.
Even so, in the end, it became one of the most asked questions whenever one of Zoldyck family members were in public if they could be spotted of course.
During that time, in Musutafu City, the year 2134, Izuku midoriya was born.
Inko became a mother. A single one at that after she decided to ended her long-distant relationship with her husband who's working overseas.
Izuku Midoriya, the young boy, had a rather unique way of being conceived and that was after Inko was unexpectedly hit with a huge surge of powerful matter that had exploded it after major malfunction taking place only being a few blocks away.
Everyone in that area, was effected, in good and in bad ways. Inko was lucky enough to only no ill or fatal effects on her, but when she found out she was with a child, she didn't have any clue one who the father was. Her only guess was that whichever men was in the tea shop during the time the energy explosion went was potentially the father.
The thing is, what happened at the tea shop was mix of blurriness and bright light before everything went dark. She tried to remember what happened before but to no avail Inko had no memory of before the energy surge either. So when her little Izuku came into the world the first give away, was that he had fluffy, soft, white hair. With the faintest of green-black streaks in them.
She decided not to worry about it and instead focus on her child she was going to have.
While Inko's side effect was having a child, the Zoldycks also received a unexpected surprise. When the energy explosion had occurred, one of them had just been less than a block away, at the time, there only two of family members out at the time but in finally arriving home surge of energy that hit them heavily irradiated off from the pair and spread to the rest of the everyone living there. For them, they were also fortunate, the Zoldycks had figured out that their side effect was age. They also discovered that everyone living in Kukuroo Mountain were no longer able to age, even the huge, slobbering, guard dog. Although it came with another side effect but it was minor.
It was spring allergies.
While both parties were lucky, most others were not. Some of the woke up to having a dysfunctional mutation of some sort, others had their quirks becoming damaged to the point where it would harm them each time they wanted or used their quirks, while some had their natural senses taken away like sight or hearing or their own Quirk. But others had many interesting effects as well, like having merged quirks from others with the area, or having replaced their Quirk entirely, or some being diagnosed with no quirk at all, some of the people who were affected had also minor sides effects as well.
It was a gamble to see if you got a good deal or not.
The surgical energy explosion made it on the news within hours. All who were in the area were immediately rushed to the hospital, some didn't make it, some did, some slipped into comas. The ones the didn't do either, were treated and tested were not allowed to be discharged or be near anyone until further notice.
Everyone was dying to know what caused it to occur. Reporters were trying their best to dish out whatever they had information on the incident, recording live as medics scrambled to get the injured into the ambulances. While police searched the whole area with closed off areas with Barricade tape.
Seeing this, the two Zoldycks that were out, they both quickly escaped and met up with each other before the medics and police arrived. Not wanting to be drawn to the public's attention.
Surprisingly, it seemed the pair recovered a lot faster than expected. But blast had weakened them significantly even though making it all the way back into the mansion right before passing out. Luckily, they were found by a maid who just happened to be walking in that direction. After she saw the horrid condition former assassins were in she immediately sent for the rest of the family and butler.
The butler would be busily taking care of them in the meantime while someone sent for private doctor.
While they were recovering. The Family had brought it upon themselves and done some digging to see what made the energy explosion go off during that night. It wasn't easy, for the first few weeks they couldn't get access to any of design plans that energy container was before the it went off since it was government restricted.
But Milluki the second eldest son, figured out how to bypass the code which blocking them from obtaining the design plans they needed. Opening up the flie, they took a look around to find that nothing important was on the design sheet. Not until looking over it again did they find, was an mechanical error within the plan. Where the parts were in the engineering where placed right next to each other, making them incompatible.
They figured out what triggered the energy explosion but now they needed to figure out why were those put together, surely anyone in the engineering department would've realized that the potential damage it could cause if someone who isn't in the engineering field discovered that. Then why was it that nobody in the engineering field noticed that?
The answer, somebody had sabotaged it and the government was keeping it underwraps. Typical.
They decided to keep an eye out for any other modifications or updates that came their way about the energy container. They also kept track of the records of the people who had built the machine. The family wanted to make sure that they could prevent the incident happening again.
And if they were lucky, they would be able to hunt down the rat that had caused the explosion and maybe get a change to ask a few questions from them personally...
