Chapter 6
Something Evil
Morning hit Yamcha like a hammer. Suffice to say it, his night with Sandy was probably the most successful date he'd ever been on. After they won the game and After the long lecture he got from his manager about being a leader and not condoning fights on the field, he was saved by the girl he'd gone out with. His red headed date had pulled up to the Satan City Baseball Stadium front gate in her little red car. She honked the horn, which Yamcha saw and it inspired him to give his manager a quick, "Later."
The scar faced man ran and jumped into Sandy's car with a monster grin on his face. The two of them took off like a couple teenagers running away from their parents after being told they shouldn't be together. Flash forward fifteen hours, and Yamcha was in an anxious state the likes of which he'd not felt in a long time. He needed advice fast, so he attempted to call a few friends. No one picked up until he called Gohan's house. Said teen was vacant, but his brother picked up the phone.
Goten called out over the phone. "Hello, Son residence, Mr. Goten speaking."
Goten was taken aback slightly at the urgency that came through from Yamcha. "Oh! Thank god! Goten, can you put Gohan on the phone!?"
The pint sized half Saiyan answered back sourly. "Mom says people shouldn't yell on the phone. Who is this anyway?"
Yamcha dropped the volume but not the urgency. "Sorry kid, Its Yamcha, look, I need Gohan's help, can you get him?"
Goten yawned, rubbed his eyes, then said sure. The kid sat the phone down next to its console then walked in the kitchen. His mother and elder brother were sitting in the room eating breakfast, so Goten just spoke aloud to them. "That's Mr. Yamcha on the phone, he said he needs Gohan's help and he seems real worried."
Gohan and Chi-Chi glanced at each other, surprise in their eyes. Chi-Chi nodded her head in the direction of the phone, so Gohan took the hint and went into the living room, where he picked up the phone. His mother standing behind him to observe. Gohan spoke a hello. "Hey Yamcha, What's up?"
Yamcha instantly hit Gohan with info. "So I need help. My date with Sandy went way to well man."
Gohan was confused. "Umm, if your date went well, why are you freaking out about it? And where are you? Your voice is echoing."
Yamcha answered swiftly, "I spent the night with Sandy last night, but now I'm hiding in her bathroom."
Gohan's response made Chi-Chi look confused now too, "Why are you hiding in her bathroom?"
Yamcha went off. "Well we ended up hanging all night. It was amazing. I think I'm legitimately in love with this girl! She even does martial arts! She's super pretty, super smart, really funny, really nice, and right now she's cooking breakfast for me!"
Gohan, whose teenage brain tried not to seem taken aback by Yamcha's forthcoming info about sex, was even further confused when he thought practically. "Yamcha, if she's this great, why are you freaking out?"
The older man continued manically, "Cause I don't want to mess this up! What do I do here?"
Yamcha stuck his head out the bathroom door because Sandy called his name. He blushed then spoke through his cell to Gohan again, "She's out there half naked in my t shirt Gohan! It's too hot! I'm so damn nervous. What do I do here bro!?"
Gohan's cheeks blushed, "How should I know? I've never been on a date or slept with any girls Yamcha."
The panic infected Gohan now too, "Why don't you call Krillin or one of your other adult friends with experience in these things!"
Yamcha was practically crying now, "I already tried bro! You're the first one that answered!"
Gohan sighed hard, "Your anxiety is starting to get me nervous too…Sandy is nice, Man, I don't know, just go eat breakfast with her?"
At this point, Chi-Chi had figured out the context clues and she didn't take kindly to Yamcha ruining her innocent son's psyche with this conversation. She demanded the phone from Gohan. Within seconds Yamcha was holding the phone away from his ear as the mom yelled. "Yamcha! Why are you calling my son to talk about sex, he's way too young for that!"
Yamcha gave a hasty answer without thinking, "Come on Chi-Chi, He's 17."
Chi-Chi snapped, "I don't care Yamcha, now what is this problem you have! Talk to me, not Gohan!"
Yamcha gave her the whole synopsis, which she listened to while Gohan watched. Yamcha seemed to be more thorough in the story with Chi-Chi, as it took a whole five minutes to finish. At the end, when Chi-Chi responded. Her voice was so motherly that it shocked Gohan. "Yamcha, you're being silly."
He called back, "I know. I'm sorry."
She asked of him. "Do you like this girl?"
Yamcha had calmed considerably. "Yeah, I really do Chi-Chi, more than any other girl I've ever met."
Chi-Chi laughed, "Man, you sure have always been dumb about this stuff. Listen Yamcha, just go out there and tell her how you feel. She wouldn't have slept with you if she didn't like you."
Gohan could hear Yamcha laughing through the phone. "I suppose it really is that simple, thanks Chi-Chi, you always were the nicest."
Chi-Chi laughed, "It's nice to get some credit every once in a while."
Yamcha had one last thing to say. His sassiness coming back as he settled down. "Hey Chi-Chi, one last question."
She gave a simple him "hmm." So he continued. "Have you really not had the sex talk with Gohan, He's nearly old enough to live on his own so it's about- "
Click. She hung up on him, which made Yamcha laugh as he walked out to see the girl he liked.
On Chi-Chi's side, Gohan asked. "Is Yamcha okay? You were really good at talking to him mom."
Chi-Chi laughed, "Yamcha has always been the sensitive and whiny type, I've been dealing with him forever. So desperate, he even confessed his feelings to me when we were kids after only knowing me for about five minutes. He hasn't changed much."
Gohan's jaw nearly dropped, "Yamcha said he liked you!?"
Chi-Chi nodded, "What, do I not seem desirable?"
Gohan laughed, "You know that's not what I meant."
Chi-Chi laughed. "I suppose, but yes, He said he liked me, but," she started to gush, "I was already head over heels for your father, so I squashed Yamcha's feelings like the bug he is."
Gohan half laughed, half felt sorry, "Ouch."
Chi-Chi headed down the hall to her room as she hollered back. "Oh you'll understand when you fall in love. Now, let's head out to Satan City."
"Love huh?" With that, Gohan went and got ready.
…
In the main living room at Mr. Satan's mansion sat Videl and a few of her friends. They were watching the news passively and making plans for the day. Videl was lounging on an obnoxiously long black couch. Her friend Eresa was draped across a little green bean bag chair on the floor. Another girl sat on the floor next to Eresa. She bore red hair and emanated an overall cute vibe. This redhead pointed at the TV and spoke. "Hey, check it out guys, there's the fight you broke up last night."
Videl had been mindlessly eating a piece of toast when she heard the girl speak. She missed it, so Videl asked. "What was that Amber?"
The redhead repeated. "That fight at the baseball game. It's on TV."
Videl nodded and looked up at the TV. There were video clips with someone speaking over them. The HDTV signal came through clean. "Here's footage of how the fights escalated, here we see Yamcha dodge an obviously intentional fastball to the head."
At that moment, Eresa spoke over the TV. "Hey, look, its Yamcha, Sharpener's idol boy toy."
Videl chuckled at the comment when Amber leaned in and took an investigative look at the TV. "Hey! That Yamcha guy came in the shop the other day!"
Eresa went in with an aggressive nod. "Oh yeah, he was at the mall, Sharpener stalked him."
Amber seemed a bit creeped out. "Really?"
Videl nodded, "Yeah, he wouldn't even listen to ME when I told him to leave the guy alone…wait, Amber, you said he came in the shop the other day? Sharpener said this Yamcha guy was a martial artist before baseball. Did he spar in the shop! I woulda loved to see how good he is."
Amber shook her head side to side. "No, actually, I had no idea he did martial arts. I only learned he was a baseball guy because my manager freaked out and asked him for an autograph."
Videl's detective brain activated. "Wait, if he wasn't there for martial arts, why would he come to a martial arts facility?"
A quick memory of Amber's interaction with Gohan drew a small blush to her chest. "Well, he brought in a few friends. Yamcha bought ten sets of Gi for this guy close to your age. I remember it well cause the guy just started stripping in the middle of the store."
Videl had no words, that was weird news. Eresa did though. "Well, was he hot?"
Videl rolled her eyes while Amber blushed hard, she remembered the surprisingly built chest. "He was kinda wiry…but he had a six pack, definitely a martial artists build…. he was kind of innocent too, super adorable."
Eresa hopped up from the bean bag chair. "Amber! Is he a target spotted?"
Amber laughed nervously when Videl cut in, "Who cares if this guy is the coolest guy ever? What kind of creep just strips in the middle of a store?"
Amber cut in, "Well, he was actually kind of nice."
A phone alarm went off in Amber's pocket, cutting off conversation. She pulled the cell phone out and turned off the alarm. The redhead stood up and spoke a sorry. "Well, gotta head to work y'all."
Videl stood up to see her friend out when Eresa asked in her very blonde way. "Wait, you have a job?"
Videl and Amber both nearly face palmed. Videl spoke with the best voice she could muster that didn't mock her friend. "Umm, Eresa, we were literally just talking about a guy at her job. We even talked about her manager."
Eresa just stood up and stared at her with an empty brain. Videl continued. "Like a manager…at a job?"
It finally clicked in the blonde's head. "OH! I thought you meant like a talent manager."
Videl finally actually face palmed. Amber stepped in. "I'm pretty sure we already told you the story of how we met at my job because of our shared love of martial arts..."
Eresa cutely placed a forefinger on her chin. "Ah! I tune out a lot when you carry on about marital arts for a long time."
Videl and Amber shared a laugh before the redhead took off out the front door. Just as she did, Videl hailed her down. Amber turned to listen. "Hey Amber, if that Yamcha guy shows up, let me know? I'd like to see him fight."
Eresa sounded off cheerily. "And let me know if he brings that hot guy with him!"
Amber laughed, "Sure thing girls, bye."
Eresa turned back to the TV, "Aww, dang Videl, the news already skipped the rest of your fight."
Videl ran back to the couch and epically jumped on it, grabbing the remote in the process. "No worries, DVR!"
Eresa giggled and hopped on the couch next to her best friend. "Well let's see you kick ass then!"
Videl starting rewinding the Television when a gruff, arrogant, and mostly gaudy voice bellowed behind them. "Whose kicking ass!?"
Videl and Eresa both turned to see a hairy chested, Japanese robe toting, ugly beard having, giant friggin man and they spoke two names to title the same guy excitedly. "Dad! /Mr. Satan!"
The tanned man gave a quick laugh with his arms to his hips and spoke with a nod. "Morning ladies! Whatcha doing?"
Videl, surprisingly enough, didn't want to brag to her dad about last night's events. He never seemed that taken by her feats. But what could she do? She knew her martial arts had a long way to go to hit her father's level. He had to be tough on her as a martial artist, right?
Well those thoughts were a moot point currently, because Eresa started bragging for her friend. "Videl stopped a bloody brawl at a baseball game last night! We're about to watch it if you want to see!"
The boisterous man laughed, "Is that so!? Well let's see it!"
Videl nervously played the DVR. It started with footage of Videl running in and knocking one guy out, then showed when she bailed out Gohan. The announcer on the TV spoke over it, "In actuality it didn't last long when Videl jumped in. Her presence alone scared them off. What else can we expect from Hercule's daughter!?"
Mr. Satan, Dad of the year, yelled through another boisterous laugh. "Not bad Kid, but I woulda got it done even faster, still, Nice work!"
Yet another half compliment from her idol. Videl would normally dwell on it a bit but Eresa yelled over both Mr. Satan and his daughter. "Pause it quick Videl!"
Videl snapped the remote up and did as she was bade. The screen froze on a zoomed out scene of Gohan and Goten being dragged out by security. Eresa pointed at the screen quickly. "Hey Videl, that guy you saved last night. He looks like that cute guy who brought me my bag at the mall!"
Videl squinted at the screen. "Hmm, kinda looks like him. I'm not sure."
Eresa responded, "Well didn't you see him up close?"
Whether it was the speed, or the adrenaline of the fight that affected her memory, it didn't matter, Videl couldn't quite remember. "Sorry Eresa, I was in the zone during the fight, I can't seem to remember his face. Funny enough, I remember that little kid that was with him's face better."
Eresa pouted, one of her ten current dream boys was possibly on TV, but she had no proof. She was given a little false salvation when Mr. Satan cut in. "He looks kinda familiar to me."
Both girls glanced at him expectantly. So he continued, "Yup, no mistaking it. He looks like this idiot I met one time!"
Both girls sighed as Mr. Satan finished. Walking out of the room. The last words heard from him where, "What kind of dumbass would run into a baseball brawl. HAHAHAHA"
…
Though Fall was finally creeping in, the day was surprisingly hot. Much hotter than it had been over the weekend. Gohan was really feeling it. At his mother's insistence, he'd worn the suit again. His arguments were rejected. All they had to do was finalize his school schedule that day, that way he'd be set for the following Monday when school started. However, Chi-Chi didn't care, she even made Goten wear a suit. Which the young boy was trying to loosen as the three of them exited Orange Star High School in downtown Satan city. They'd just finished with the principal and Gohan was relieved. The meeting with the counselors had been unexpectedly tenser than last week. The principal had seen Gohan and Goten on national TV involved in a fight. He was worried about how it would look for the school to allow delinquents to attend. Between Goten apologizing and Chi-Chi hyper explaining, they managed to clear their names and the scheduling process went well. The man ended up impressed that Gohan would run into danger to save his kid brother.
Now that they were done with school things, Chi-Chi was planning to take full advantage of the trip to the City. Stocking up on goods they would need at home. She asked her sons. "Well, where should we go first?"
Goten yelled, "Amusement park!"
Chi-Chi gave the kid a motherly look of disdain, "You're grounded for at least two more weeks from any fun mister, you have to behave better that you did last night."
Goten drooped, "Yes ma'am."
Gohan rustled the kid's hair, "We all have to pay for our mistakes, be a man and handle it with respect."
Goten nodded and hid the sobs when Gohan pitched an idea to his mom. "Can we go get food then decide what to do?"
Chi-Chi laughed. "You ate a ton just a little while ago. One weekend of training and you're back to the bottomless pit routine?"
Gohan rubbed his hair. "Sorry mom."
Chi-Chi smiled at her kids, "Well maybe I'll just make you find a small job to help pay for food since you plan to be training again.
Gohan thought a moment. "I think that would be interesting."
Chi-Chi nodded, "Worry about it later, we're here to have fun…Come on, lets head to a buffet."
Goten and Gohan's eyes went wide, they gave each other a double high five. Goten hollered. "I'm gonna eat all the food!"
…
After a short stint of walking, a stop to ask a stranger where the closest buffet was, and a few blocks of Goten bouncing around like a madman. The Son family had already payed and taken a table in the back of a huge buffet. The place had a theme that bothered Chi-Chi beyond belief. Everything had Mr. Satan's face on it. The walls, the windows, the menus, even the plates were plastered with the hairy frauds face. Gohan laughed, "I guess Hercule owns this place."
Chi-Chi mocked in general, "Ya think?"
She glanced at Goten, who was pulling a piece of gum off the bottom of their table. "Goten! Don't touch that, and after you washed your hands. Go wash them again and stay out of that nasty stuff."
Goten got up and marched to the bathroom dutifully. Chi-Chi jumped back to the previous conversation. "Look Gohan, I don't mind people not knowing you beat the big green," she whispered, "You know who, since it kept you from getting harassed."
Gohan laughed as his stomach turned, "I mean, I guess."
Chi-Chi continued. "But I really hate the fact that he stole your victory for his own gain. Sometimes I feel like going to his house and putting him in his place. It's not right to steal from anyone, let alone a kid."
Gohan nodded, "Well I know that that's true."
Chi-Chi side eyed her son. "You never seem to have an opinion on this."
Gohan laughed nervously after she said it. He was saved when his little brother returned from the bathroom, his hands still wet from washing them, getting Gohan's suit damp when the young one started dragging Gohan toward the food. The elder son took advantage of this and finally ripped off the jacket top, revealing a shiny blue button up and a black tie underneath. Chi-Chi stood up. "Let's eat!"
Goten pulled on his mom's dress as he looked hungrily at all the food options. "Hey mom, so what all am I allowed to eat?"
Chi-Chi gave a quick wink to her youngest. "Anything you want Goten, and as much as you want. Just be polite to people in line in front of you and don't make a mess."
Goten's eyes went wide and he took off to find the plates.
Gohan picked up a clean fork off of a rack that sat out for patrons, Mr. Satan's face was plastered on it. "Dad would get a kick out of this place…but I bet Krillin would want to burn it down."
…
At that moment, some hundreds of miles away to the southeast of Satan City; Krillin let out a large sneeze. The small man was sitting on the roof of the Kame house meditating while looking out over the ocean. He rubbed his nose and wailed. "Man! Someone must be talking about me, broke my focus."
At that point, a large gust of ocean scented wind brushed through the man's orange Gi. He felt the approach of someone and watched as a drop dead gorgeous blond girl with fair skin landed next to him on the roof. She made Krillin swallow down a bit of lust. She was always gorgeous, but this morning in particular she came out of her sleep and onto the roof wearing one of his t shirt's, a rarity, even if she was his wife. She was usually so fashion conscious at all times, so mornings like this felt raw and real to the former baldie. Before she had a chance to speak, he pounced calmly. "My gosh Eighteen, you look gorgeous this morning."
She looked down at her outfit and rolled her eyes. "Oh stuff it."
He pleaded as he stood up next to her on the roof, "I mean it, but, you look great in anything, this just looks extra alluring."
She interrupted his cute attempt to be smooth with a peck on his cheek from her pursed lips. Krillin nearly turned ripe tomato red. It didn't matter how long it had been, the tough girl's kisses knocked him out. He remarked as such. "That was a knockout punch."
She slapped his shoulder, "Oh shut up…so, you're training…it's been a long time, I haven't seen that Gi in a hot minute."
Krillin was slowly returning to baseline heartbeat when he nodded. They hadn't much of a chance to talk over the weekend, so he explained. "Yamcha and I are training Gohan. Now I have the itch."
She nodded, "Oh really, I thought Gohan Quit training?"
Krillin got really excited. "He did, Yamcha did most the work but we coaxed him out here over the weekend, it was wonderful!"
Eighteen gave a reserved smile, "So, you never really told me why you stopped training."
Krillin thought for a few minutes. She could tell he was thinking so she waited patiently for a response. He looked out over the ocean and answered. "It was hard…with Goku gone. I didn't find much reason to train…Gohan didn't want it either…but I think Gohan may have reminded me of my purpose. There are always people to protect. Especially you and Marron. I want to get stronger."
She interrupted his real talk with a punch to his shoulder. Then she jeered playfully, however, Krillin was one of the few people that knew the truth about this tone not being mean. An outsider may have found her rude. "It's about time, you know martial artists are pretty hot right? I was getting real sick of this sissy act."
He talked smack back. "Hey, I have a monster for a wife, she can protect me when I'm lazy."
She laughed, "Fat chance."
Krillin smiled up at her, "Well, I'll be without a training partner for the next few hours. So I'm gonna stick to image training…as long as you don't need my help with anything."
The wind pushed some of Eighteen's hair into her eyelashes. She moved them to the side of her head. "No, there's nothing, today's free…so, want to spar with me then?"
Krillin grew immediately elated. "What, really!? That sounds awesome, but where's Marron?"
Eighteen winked at him, "Roshi took her into town to go shopping with him today, he wouldn't shut up about how y'all ate nothing but fish and he wants something else."
Krillin caught the hint and winked back, "Oh, we have the place to ourselves?"
Eighteen powered up a bit and began floating into the air, then she spoke somewhere between seduction and a taunt. "For a few hours, and I tell you what Krillin, if you can land a hit on me I may just be forced to take all these clothes off to treat the bruises."
Krillin went wide eyed then smirked. His nasally voice dropped an octave when he hit her with the smolder. "Challenge Accepted."
…
Gohan and Goten had both blew through four plates of food, while Chi-Chi had just finished one. They all took a break in eating to talk. Chi-Chi held a printed piece of paper in her hands as she leaned back in the booth they sat at. She looked across the table at Gohan. "I'm still surprised you picked culinary arts as a class Gohan."
Goten looked at Gohan. "What's cul-canary arts, is it like martial arts?"
Chi-Chi laughed quietly while Gohan answered through a grin. "Its CULINARY arts Goten, and it's a fancy way to say cooking class."
Goten nodded very affirmatively, "Oh, are you gonna make yummy food?"
Gohan nodded, "Well that's the idea." Gohan looked back at his mom while Goten squirmed jovially at the prospect of his big brother's food. The older Son scratched the back of his head. "Krillin showed me how to cook a few things, I enjoyed it more than I expected. I thought the class would be fun…and that I could help you at home by cooking sometimes so you can have a break mom."
Chi-Chi smiled inwardly and outwardly. "Well that's sweet Gohan! I can teach you a trick or two as well if you'd like."
Gohan nodded. "Yeah, that sounds great! Now, the classes I'm nervous about are Art and Music. We don't do too much at home."
His mom laughed, "We did enough that you should be fine…I'm surprised you didn't take any language classes. Was there anything else you wanted to do?"
Gohan nodded. "Well, after watching Yamcha play, the baseball club seems fun. But…I don't think I could play with normal people."
Chi-Chi saw the dejected look on his face and instinctively wanted to help. "You know Gohan. Yamcha learned how to hold back when he plays, maybe he could give you pointers? Any training that helps you stand out less in general would be extremely helpful."
Gohan went to nod when he heard a few people seated further away in the buffet gasp. In fact, the mood had dropped faster than the flip of a coin as the whole populous of the restaurant fought to look outside suddenly. The people by the window seats had their faces plastered to the window. Chi-Chi asked seriously, it seemed like trouble, "What's going on Gohan?"
Gohan's face got serious, "I'm not sure mom, I'll go see."
Gohan walked across the restaurant. Before he got to a window with a clear shot of the commotion outside, he heard someone yell, "Look, they have guns, they're going into that bank!"
Gohan stopped and looked back at his mom intensely, who clearly heard it. She and Goten were rushing to join him when another person said, "That man there, they knocked his teeth in! Someone call the police!"
An older, more serious man in the crowd of buffet patrons spoke cynically. "Police won't make it in time…and if they were willing to hit a man in the street during broad daylight, then I bet they won't have any issues killing for money."
Goten hollered up to his mom in a child's panic, "They're going to kill people mom?!"
Chi-Chi looked up at Gohan, who had his eyes locked outside in a steely glare she was well accustomed to. She knew he would go help, even if it did scare her a bit, she was pretty used to this by now. Gohan whispered what she thought. "I'm going."
Chi-Chi grabbed Gohan's sleeve. "You can't be seen fighting right after the principal let you off the hook."
Gohan was shocked his mom would be willing to let people get hurt for their own sake. He turned to argue, but what he saw stopped the need for protest. Chi-Chi had just grabbed a random guy's coat off the back of a chair and handed it towards her eldest son. She whispered. "Here Gohan, it's not much but it will make somewhat of a disguise."
Gohan smiled at the permission she gave him. He pulled on the baggy red coat. "I'll find a way to hide my face if I can."
He turned to head out the front door of the buffet, but Chi-Chi grabbed his sleeve again, "Hey, find a way out the back and sneak up."
Gohan followed the suggestion and ran to go get started. "Thanks mom."
When he'd left, Chi-Chi looked down and Goten was crying, full of worry. She picked up her youngest. "Oh, it's going to be okay, Gohan is going to save all those people from getting hurt."
Goten slowed his sobbing. "They aren't going to get Gohan are they?"
Chi-Chi laughed inwardly and smiled outwardly. Then comforted her son. "Your brother is the strongest around, he'll be fine…now, what do you say we sneak outside and try to help that man who got his face beat up? He probably needs first aid."
She sat him down as Goten nodded. "Secret mission?"
Chi-Chi nodded, "Secret mission."
…
A few miles across town found Videl and Eresa at an office supply store called Satan's Stencils and Such. Videl was looking at a class syllabus and supply list to check if she'd missed anything after their first circle of the store. Her blonde friend was currently deliberating between a pineapple and apple shaped rubber pencil eraser. She looked at Videl. "Hey Videl, which of these is cuter?"
Videl started to observe the little trinkets. "Not necessarily my forte but I'll try."
RING RING RING.
Videl's cell phone rang out an obnoxious alarm. The pigtailed girl plucked the phone out with immediate haste, forgetting all about the current activity. Eresa was quite used to this so she went back to her own business.
Videl answered. "This is Videl, what is it captain!?"
Anyone within a ten-foot Radius of the girl would have heard the police captain loud and clear as he yelled through the cellular waves. "VIDEL, WE'VE GOT AN ARMED BANK ROBBERY, THEY'VE GOT HOSTAGES. WE JUST GOT THE CALL. IT'S THE BANK ON THE CORNER OF 16TH STREET AND ZENKAI AVE. WE'RE TEN MINUTES OUT, ARE YOU CLOSER THAN US!?"
Videl nodded as she pulled her punching gloves out of her pockets and began putting them on. She was shockingly calm, like a seasoned police veteran. "Yes sir chief, that's the bank across from my dad's restaurant. I'm only two blocks away! I'll be there in two minutes! Text me any other details!"
The small warrior hung up and put the phone in her pocket. "Gotta go Eresa!"
Her ditzy blonde friend smiled and waved like this was all just normal. "Good luck!"
Videl shot out the door of the shop and headed north.
…
Back at the scene of the Robbery, Gohan was in the alley behind the Restaurant. He'd just caught a glimpse of his reflection in a window and laughed. "Not much of a disguise…now, how am I gonna hide my face...gotta think fast Gohan, lives are at stake."
He looked around and the only thing he saw in the alley was an empty plastic bag. "That won't work…hmm."
Then, a lightbulb went off in his head. He glanced around the area to make sure no one could see him. He clenched his teeth and with a quick channeled burst of Ki he transformed into a Super Saiyan. He glanced back at the window. "HA! Now I'm just some blonde guy! Perfect!"
With that, Gohan ran out into the street in front of the bank before he stopped to observe the situation. People in the buffet, including Chi-Chi and Goten, all watched as this blonde teen walked out toward an open robbery. Most of them thought he was either dumb or stupid. Some were concerned for this guy they perceived to be an idiot.
Fortunately for Gohan, the streets were relatively clear other than a few cars and the man who'd been knocked down by the assailants. Gohan knelt down and checked on the man. The guy was about 30 years old, dark skinned, and was barely conscious. Gohan whispered to him. "Sir, are you okay?"
The guy coughed a bit before answering. "Do I look okay?"
Gohan shook his head, he felt dumb, "Right, are you able to breath was the question?"
The man opened his eyes up to see green eyes and shiny blond hair on a young kid. The teen seemed ethereal. The man asked in a dreamy tone. "Are…are you an Angel?"
Gohan laughed, proud of his own joke. "No sir, my dad's the one with the halo."
The man got dizzy, "Huh, what's that even mean?"
The man passed out after that. Gohan caught his head and sat it down gently. "Hang in there."
Two shots rang out from inside the bank. Gohan's keen ears heard someone scream, "Nobody move," inside the building. Gohan stood back up took a quick look at the layout of the building. From what he could tell, the only entry was the automatic double doors in front of him. He walked upon them and tried to look in, but they were tinted. So, naturally he tried to open them. They shifted about two inches, just enough for Gohan to see a metal crowbar pinning it shut on the interior handles.
Inside the bank was a dreadful scene. There was one large waiting area, one long desk with a spot for four bank teller stations, and two large bathrooms to the right of the main lobby. It was your traditional simple bank. In front of the bathroom sat fifteen hostages, cross legged on the floor. A broad mix of people, different ages, races, and genders. Standing above them where two masked men brandishing automatic assault rifles. Two more masked men stood guard at the door that Gohan was outside of, both carried guns as well. Behind the Teller counter stood two women in suits; one middle aged lady who looked like a basic mom and one younger girl with alternative dyed hair and goth style makeup. Both women were shaking terribly and attempting to be calm while they filled up bags with cash. They did this under the menacing barrel of a shotgun, held by the man who was obviously the leader of these outlaws. He was the one barking out orders and did all the talking.
Everyone in the bank heard the doors rustle from Gohan's first attempt to open them. The boss screamed. "What's that racket!?"
Although Gohan couldn't see in, the assailants could see out the reverse tinted window. One of them yelled back in a weasely voice, "Boss! It's some crazy kid trying to open the door! What should we do?!"
The boss placed the barrel of his shotgun against the young goth teller girl's cheeks. She began to hyperventilate. The barrel was still piping hot from the last time he'd shot a warning and it burned on contact. The brute issued an order to the girl then answered his subordinate. "Hurry it up bitch! If he forces his way in, shoot him!"
Gohan's keen ears absorbed all of that dialogue.
So, Gohan reached through with one hand and began to bend the crowbar. The two guards could see this, and reacted with shock at the display of inhuman strength. One of them shouted, "Back off or I'm gonna blast ya!"
Another second passed and the man fired a shotgun round from three feet away at Gohan's hand. It shattered part of the door but did no damage to the Half Saiyan.
The robbers seemed bewildered. Gohan seemed upset.
The teen glared at the realization that these men would kill with no regard. Now that the door was broken, he decided on the next move without regret. Gohan held his hands up in front of him, extending his palms upward. He grunted as he shot blasts of invisible Ki into the doors. They blew off their hinges and smashed into the two robbers standing by the doors. Knocking both men out cold.
The loud crash of the doors and the yelling of the men as they were hit shocked everyone in the bank, robbers and victims alike. They all watched in awe as a blonde haired teen walked over the shattered glass. They were all frozen as Gohan quickly observed the room. Fury built in the Half-Saiyan when he saw the gun pressed against the teller that was hyperventilating, it escalated when he saw the group of people pinned down by the bathroom. The fury turned to disgusted rage when he saw a security guard on the ground with a bullet hole in his stomach. Gohan couldn't tell if the Security Officer was alive or not so he knew he had to speed up to help the man. Gohan finally spoke, the anger evident in the gritting of his teeth. "All this for some Zeni? You people make me sick."
One of the guards by the group of hostages came out of the trance when the boss yelled. "Shoot this ass hole!"
A man in the hostages yelled, "Look out!"
Gohan watched as a robber attempted to shoot at him. The gun didn't go off. Gohan started calmly walking toward the hostages, and directly at the man who had a gun drawn. When the gun didn't fire again, the man threw it on the ground and pulled a knife out of his boot. He screamed as he charged Gohan. "Screw you kid!"
The guy took a leaping swing at Gohan…and it didn't go well. In a flash the man was knocked out on the floor while Gohan held the knife. The entire bank was once again in shock. The hostages were pleased for the help but had no idea who this freaky strong guy was and it welled up an excitement/fear they'd never known. For the Other robber who stood over the hostages however, it caused panic. He knew the gun wouldn't work on Gohan, so he thought he'd snag a hostage as a shield. Gohan saw the man move to do so and instantly threw a hand up and yelled. He blasted the guy against a wall with invisible ki.
In an instant he turned around and was ready to handle the boss. But when he turned, the man had already taken precautionary measures after seeing Gohan's superhuman ability.
Now, up to this point in his life, Gohan had seen a lot of monsters do a lot of bad things. However, a human doing what he saw marked a new depravity he hadn't witnessed before. The boss now had a half full bag of cash tied to his hip. He'd picked up the young alternative teller by her hair and was walking backwards towards a side door. Gohan wanted to move to help her but the sight before him stalled his action. In the few seconds that Gohan had handled the last two robbers, the clever boss had ripped the young girls neck backwards, causing her to yelp in pain. The moment she opened her mouth he'd shoved his short shotgun's barrel into the girl's mouth. He had it pressed deep to the girl's throat. It sent pain to her core. The girl looked right at Gohan with panic as she was being dragged backwards. Fear and tears stained her face and it added horror to Gohan's fury. The desperation to be saved woke something in the Half-Saiyan's soul.
Gohan glared and his voice got scary, far scarier than the typical tone you'd expect out of the teen. "You let her go…now."
The masked man laughed maniacally. "Alright tough guy, obviously you're some kind of freak! So I think I'll take my leave. If you so much as move, disappear, or any other freakish thing, I'll blow this broad's brains out the back of her skull."
Gohan snarled angrily. The man held the girl in one of the only positions that truly kept the Half Saiyan's hands tied. Gohan had to watch as the man dragged her out the side door successfully. As soon as they cleared the door, Gohan followed. He opened the door and stepped out into a side parking lot.
Gohan spotted them immediately and got orders coerced at him again from the masked man. "Uh uh, I thought I told you, come any closer and I'll blow this broad's brains out!"
Gohan snapped, "Coward! Let her go and you can leave here unhurt! Take the money and go!"
The man pushed the barrel in harder down the girl's throat. "Like I'd believe that ya freak. You'll just blow me away like you did my men! I'm not stupid!"
…
While the standoff was going on outside the back of the bank, Chi-Chi and Goten had already snuck outside slowly, taking advantage of the commotion in the bank for a chance to help the man who'd been knocked out in front of the bank. Goten was currently dragging the man back towards the restaurant with Chi-Chi at his side when a collective cheer rang out form the patrons in the restaurant. Some young girl shouted, "Look! It's Videl! Thank goodness!"
Chi-Chi glanced over to see a teen girl wearing a dark blue shirt running full speed towards the bank, her pigtails whipping in the air behind her. Chi-Chi wondered as the girl entered the bank. "Who is that girl?"
As Chi-Chi watched, Videl turned into the now empty doorway and flew into the bank. She had her fists up, ready to fight. She glanced around in shock…the police weren't here…but all the criminals were dealt with and several of the hostages were already helping the wounded ones up, including the wounded security guard.
The place had been in surprisingly decent condition, outside of the broken doors and the bullet holes she spotted. She was thoroughly confused as to what could have happened when an elderly man walked out of the hostages and up to Videl. She recognized the elder man as a man who worked in the mayor's office. She immediately asked him, "Mr. Randolph! What happened here!?"
The usually calm man started ranting. "It was crazy! They busted in here a few minutes ago! They shot the poor Security officer. Then all of a sudden a young man with shiny golden hair busted the door down. He knocked one guy out so fast I couldn't even see him hit the guy!"
The old man pointed at an unconscious robber. "He knocked that guy out by yelling at him!"
Videl was tongue tied. None of that made sense. "Huh?"
The elder man continued. "I think that boy blew the door down somehow too!"
Videl shook her head and refocused. The old man was likely in shock and people may still have needed help. "Where is this Golden haired guy?"
The old man had a lightbulb, he placed a fist in a palm like rock paper scissors. "Oh yeah, the boss of these hooligans dragged a poor girl outside that door at gunpoint. That boy went to help the young lady."
Videl scoffed and snapped at the slothful old man, "He still has a hostage? You should have told me that sooner!"
Videl took off to pursue the villain.
…
Outside in the parking lot, Gohan had taken baby steps to follow the man and his hostage, he didn't want to be too aggressive and trigger this guy. The robber had worked the girl and himself all the way into the alley behind the bank. The man had consistently kept yelling, "Back off! Back Off kid!"
Gohan stayed quiet and watched the man's trigger finger like a hawk, he had decided to wait for an opening where the man pulled his finger out of the trigger well. Then he would move as fast as he could to save the girl. "I only need a half second dammit! "
At that moment, Gohan looked the girl in the eye. His confidence radiated and it sparked her to fight. She started to struggle, she scratched at the masked man's hands that held the gun. He ripped her hair so hard at the root that Gohan saw blood run down her forehead.
When the girl cried out…it finally snapped out of Gohan.
Up to this point, he'd kept a tight hold on his Super Saiyan form's power, but the anger allowed some whipping ki to come out and a few sparks appeared around him. The Masked man saw this, and between struggling with the girl and the shock of Gohan's glowing form, he slipped up, his finger came off the trigger.
Gohan disappeared from view, and in one swift move, he appeared ten feet behind the robber. Gohan now held the shotgun the man had wielded in his right hand and supported the girl in his left arm, both successfully removed from the robber in a flash. She was facing Gohan with her head buried in his chest, a look of shock from being practically teleported on her face.
The boss stood there dumbfounded, the wind had whipped, then like a magic trick his hostage and weapon were gone. He felt around his body desperately in some sad hope that he'd locate them.
At the same time, the girl felt brave and finally looked up at Gohan though she was still extremely panicked, her mouth was pained but she spoke. "Umm, what just happened?"
Gohan smiled down at her. "Don't worry, You're safe now."
Her eyes welled up and she started crying through the emotional release. Gohan whispered, "We're not quite done yet, Get Behind me."
She was shaking terribly but managed to get behind him. Gohan snapped at the robber. "Hey!"
The guy was still dumbstruck. When he turned and looked at Gohan, the man jumped out of his skin. "What the hell!? How did you two get behind me...GIVE MY GUN BACK OR YOU'RE GONNA GET IT KID."
The man pulled a throwing knife out of his pocket. He reared it back but stopped when Gohan, without a word, used two hands to bend the shotgun into a ninety-degree angle. The man froze at the sight.
Gohan taunted as he threw the shotgun down at the man's feet, "I'm no thief, here, Want your gun back?"
Genuine terror went through the evil man. His legs started to make him flee. He turned to run when Gohan yelled. "Not so fast!"
The teen proceeded to pick up a large metal dumpster that sat half full in the alley. The girl watched in awe as the Half-Saiyan easily lifted it over his head and dropped it on top of the robber before he could flee, trapping the man like a bug in an upside down cup. The Super Saiyan turned to the girl he'd just save and laughed, "I think I got him."
From the dumpster the man could be heard, "Hey, let me out ass hole!"
Gohan's eased demeanor calmed the girl down from the fear, "Hey, you hear the wind?"
She didn't laugh, but she did get the gumption to stand up. The girl adjusted her hair and spit some blood out of her mouth, then walked up to the dumpster and started kicking it. "Take that ass hole, I hope you rot in there!"
She kept hitting and kicking the dumpster but began to slow down as sobs took over her brain again. She slumped down into a kneeling position. Gohan began to walk up and comfort her when the man inside laughed and yelled. "I'm not going to jail again; I'm taking you to hell with me you bastard!"
The girl was too distracted to notice but Gohan did. Through a small gap under the dumpster a grenade rolled out. Gohan panicked and yelled, "Look out!"
The girl glanced down and recognized the primitive device, her flight response had burned up already and she couldn't move. Gohan knew he could survive the blast, but the girl couldn't. He made an attempt to grab her and move between her and the explosion.
At that moment. Videl had caught up and glanced in the alley to observe the situation like a spy. She spotted two people next to a dumpster.
BOOM!
Videl covered her eyes as the overturned dumpster lit up with a flash and bounced off the ground a foot or two before landing again. The crime fighter yelled with concern for the two people who stood caught in the blast. "Are you two okay!?"
She got no response, so when the dust settled she ran to investigate. She had to cover her mouth, as the overwhelming smell of incinerated trash filled the air. She let out one big cough then reached where Gohan and the young girl had stood. No one was there. Not even a body.
She spoke out loud, "What the heck?"
…
About two blocks away from the explosion sat a small public park. In a small grove of trees within the park Gohan stood hugging the banker girl tightly to his chest. He let her go and she looked around rapidly, an attempt to handle the shock of the fast movement again. She recognized the park, which gave her some grounding, then she remembered the grenade. "How did you move so fast!?"
Gohan laughed nervously, He dodged the question. "You can talk, I guess that means you're okay then, thank goodness. Still, you should limit how much you move your mouth since it got all cut up."
She stood there, still shaking, understandable since there'd been a gun in her mouth and an explosion minutes ago. However, Gohan's kind demeanor and concern, combined with being fully separated from the situation, made it finally kick in that she was safe. "I thought I was dead for sure."
As the urge to cry in relief overtook her, she lurched out and hugged Gohan. She buried her face in the big red coat he'd high jacked. The teen simply let her cry it out and patted her head. "It's okay, You're safe now."
That carried on for a minute before Gohan stopped her. "Well, I better get out of here, I left my family to come help. I need to go check on them, will you be okay?"
She took a step back and wiped some tear smeared colorful makeup off her cheeks. "Yeah, I should be fine, I'll head back there to let people know I'm okay. I need to check on my coworkers."
Gohan nodded. He glanced around the trees and noticed a lot of people in the park. No one had noticed them yet, as they were in a secluded corner. He thought to himself. "I can't let people see me transform back to normal…mom would be mad, I better change back here before too many people see me in this form either."
The girl had already seen too much to deny anything now anyway.
He looked at the girl in front of him. "Hey, don't freak out."
She looked up at him and gave a quick, "Huh?" She didn't think anything would surprise her now.
Gohan's hair went from yellow to black.
She was wrong, that was the freakiest thing yet. Gohan saw the look on her face and laughed nervously before speaking. "Well, I better be going."
Before he turned away, she asked in what seemed like a plea, "Hey, wait, What's your name?"
Gohan reached out a hand to shake hers, "I'm Gohan, and you?"
She stood up straight, her head barely Reaching the teen's chest. Then, she slowly reached out and shook his hand. "I'm Rikku."
Gohan released the handshake, "Nice to meet you Rikku."
His soft face made her think. "A guy this nice was that capable of what I just saw. Crazy."
She dropped the thought and she pushed out the next sentence with vigor. "Thank you for saving me!"
Gohan scratched the back of his head bashfully then gave the son grin. She made eye contact with him as a lightbulb went off in Gohan's head. He spoke. "Hey, can you do me a favor?"
She cocked her head to receive the request. So Gohan leaned down to come closer to her height level. He unintentionally looked cute as he whispered with a finger in front of his mouth to insinuate silence. "Can you not tell anyone about my transformation? It's supposed to be a secret."
It brought a blush to the girl's face. Some mix of his adorable attitude and the rush of a secret being responsible for the flutter. She nodded. "Yeah. No problem Gohan."
At that, Gohan turned around and began to walk off. He waved a final goodbye over his shoulder. "Stay safe Rikku!"
The last glance at her confused him. She was beet red now and seemed to have a hard time looking at him. She answered with steam nearly coming out of her ears. "Yeah, Sure!"
Gohan thought to himself, "What's she so embarrassed about?"
He shrugged his shoulders then went about his business. He quickly sensed any surrounding ki signatures to locate his mom and brother. It only took him a second to find them. They were back near the bank, so he headed out to find them.
Back in the park, Rikku stood there, face cherry red and in wonder at the events over the last fifteen minutes. She spoke one last sentence aloud.
"Guess I better call my therapist."
…
Videl had met with the police and EMT's as they arrived. She gave a quick debrief to the officer in charge then headed back behind the alley to try and locate the two people that seemed to vanish. She'd combed the area decently. No sign yet. She wasn't one prone to giving up, so she walked another block, out on a main street she got a good wide view. Not many people were around, as news of the robbery and police presence drove them home. It made it easy for the girl to scan the area quickly. She only spotted a street worker to her right.
To her left, Gohan had just rounded the corner. He was Jogging away from her in pursuit of his family. She couldn't see his face, but she suddenly yelled at him from several hundred feet away. "Hey! Nasty streaker! Get the hell out of here! I don't have time to deal with this, don't let me catch you out here again you pervert!"
With that, Videl readied herself to head back toward the bank, about to give up the search temporarily. Just before she did, the crime fighter spotted a young girl walking out of some bushes in a park across from her. The poor girl was all beat up. Videl rushed to approach her and called out. "Hey, are you Rikku!?"
Rikku looked up, she recognized Videl instantly, she was Mr. Satan's daughter after all. It brought Rikku even more comfort. "Yeah, I'm Rikku."
Videl breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness, I was sure when that explosive went off that you were a goner. What happened to the guy that was with you, the one with Golden hair?"
Rikku smiled and put on her best dumb face. She wasn't breaking the promise to protect Gohan's identity after he saved her. "He dropped me off here and took off, I've no idea where he went."
Videl looked around the area, she wasn't sure why but she felt irked. "Well let's get you to the hospital Ma'am."
…
Gohan spotted his mom and brother waiting for him on a bench a few blocks away from all the commotion. He was relieved to see them. Yet, as he approached them, he couldn't get the confusion from that random girl yelling that he was a pervert out of his head. He'd finally settled on the fact that she must have been talking to someone else when he approached his folks. The teen spoke a big hello. "Hey guys! All done!"
Chi-Chi sighed in relief when she saw he was okay. "Thank goodness. I'm glad you're safe son, did you save everyone in the bank?"
Gohan nodded, a whim of sadness ate him. "One man had already been hurt when I went in, but I managed to save everyone else, I even made friends with a girl I saved."
Chi-Chi gave him a suspect look, "Oh, a girl huh?"
Goten cut in out of the blue, he had leeched onto Gohan's leg as soon as he arrived. The pint sized Son laughed through a shout. "Mom, Gohan's BUTT is showing."
Goten got a real kick out of the word Butt.
Chi-Chi gave a loud, "Huh?"
His mom moved around him and reacted with animation. "Gohan! What happened to your pants!? Have you been running around the city like that!?"
Gohan gave his own, "Huh?"
The teen looked down to pure horror. The entire back half of his pants were gone, ripped to shreds by the grenade. From his waistband to his heels was on full display. Even his underwear was half singed. He whispered, "How?"
It only took him a second to put two and two together. He recalled the angle the grenade went off at, the red face on Rikku as he walked away, and the random person that called him a streaker. Gohan's entire soul felt like life just ended. "That grenade must have torn up my pants. No wonder that lady said I was a streaker. And a bunch of people just saw me half naked."
He remembered Rikku's face as he left her earlier, this time it really rang in his memory. He face palmed with both hands.
As his world sank, Chi-Chi laughed aloud, she couldn't help it. She went from irritancy to pity in a second when Gohan explained what happened. "That's not what I had in mind when I said you needed a disguise, but whatever works Gohan."
Gohan pleaded, 'Aww, come on mom, stop laughing."
She stifled the laughter enough to answer. "Let's go home and get you some pants Gohan, we can finish shopping later. We keep running into trouble today anyway."
Gohan hung his head, "Yes ma'am, sorry mom."
Gohan tied the red jacket around his waist to help hide his skin and called for the nimbus.
…
A few hours went by. The sun was sitting three quarters of the way down in the sky now and evening was settling nicely over Mt. Paos. The Son family home was quieter than normal. Mostly because Goten had taken a nap. However, the eldest son was also dead quiet. He sat sullen in his room. A rarity for the teen.
His mother knew after a while something was really bothering her kid. Gohan would usually recover from just about anything in a flash. She decided to go check on him. She went to the couch and draped a checkered fleece blanket over Goten's sleeping form, then went down the hall and knocked lightly on Gohan's door. Her son answered, "What's up mom?"
Chi-Chi heard the strangely shook tone in her Gohan's voice. It made her hurt, she tried to hide that worry when she opened the door to find Gohan sitting on the edge of his bed, staring at the wall.
She asked, "What's wrong honey, did something happen that you didn't tell me about at the bank today?"
Gohan nodded, "Yeah, I didn't want to talk about it in front of Goten though. Something really scary and shocking happened today."
Chi-Chi sat down next to him on the bed. "Wanna tell me about it?"
Gohan just spewed in a soft voice. "That man, the one that took the hostage, he was really scary. I've never seen a human like him. He shot that guard like it was nothing…then, when he dragged that girl out. The reason I couldn't do something sooner…He took his gun and shoved the barrel down that Rikku girl's throat. Like this far."
Chi-Chi watched in uneasy shock as Gohan simulated how deep the barrel was in. She whispered, "Oh my, that's terrifying."
Gohan nodded again. "I know, right? That wasn't even the worst part…He killed himself, trying to take us out with him, that's how my clothes got all torn up. If I'd made a single split second mistake, that girl would be dead…I just can't get over how he would just kill himself like that."
Chi-Chi hurt for her son. She grabbed his arm and hugged it. "I'm so sorry Gohan, that's a scary thing to watch."
He continued, pure confusion on his face. He couldn't even locate the source of his misery. There were so many thoughts racing through his mind. "I've seen my fair share of chaos. My fair share of evil. My fair share of Death. More than I ever wanted to see. But…I'd never seen a human do something that bad…something so evil and deranged. It made me feel powerless."
Chi-Chi sighed. "That's one of the scariest things about life, there's always a chance of running into something evil. Good can't exist without the bad. I know how you feel; I was kidnapped multiple times when I was a kid. My father was attacked constantly. There's no getting past it, just growing to handle it."
Gohan glanced at her, "You we're kidnapped?"
Chi-Chi nodded. "Yeah, princess side effects...your dad came and saved me."
Gohan smiled, "I'm glad he was around."
Chi-Chi smiled back. "That's the other side of the coin, for every evil thing, there are also good things, like your dad. I bet that girl was glad you were around today too. I'm really proud of you."
Gohan nearly started crying. "Thanks mom."
She rustled her big son's hair. "Just be careful, it scares me to death."
Chi-Chi stood up. "Want something to eat?"
He shook his head side to side, "No thanks, I'm not really hungry."
THAT was a red flag. This was one of those times she wished her husband was around to talk to their sons as well. She thought to herself. "Maybe I should see if Krillin wants to come see him."
Suddenly, their front door bell rang. They weren't expecting anyone, so it took them both by surprise. Gohan looked up, "Want me to get it?"
Chi-Chi responded quickly, "That's okay, you rest up."
Chi-Chi walked down the hall and through the living room. Gohan still decided to listen closely, his instinct to protect his mom even drove him to follow down the hall halfway.
Chi-Chi opened the door to reveal a face she hadn't seen in years. Before her stood a man much taller than her with skin as fair as hers. He bore a green martial arts Gi and three eyes on his face. The man ushered a hello. "Hello Chi-Chi, long time no see."
She was flustered for a second before she practically yelled. "Tien Shinhan!?"
Gohan went wide eyed, what the heck was Tien doing there, he hadn't seen that man in years. The teen came running down the hall and into the living room. Sure enough, the three eyed martial artist from his past stood in the doorway. Gohan shouted excitedly. "Tien!?"
Tien glanced past Chi-Chi and made eye contact with the teen, "Hey Gohan."
Give me song suggestions, also, If you thought DBZ characters liked music, what genre would they like?
Thanks for waiting so long for this one y'all.
