Here we are at Chapter 24. Time for some fun with Winter. I have a few fun moments planned in this. I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 23. Enjoy.

Chapter 24: Winter is Here

After the fight, Weiss and Ruby quickly ran off, leaving the others confused.

"Um, what was that about?" Yang scratches her head.

Blake shrugs her shoulders, "Beats me. But, I'm going to go congratulate the dorks on their win. Wanna come with?"

"Sure. I want to introduce them to Voshkie'ahk. Let's go," Yang and Voshkie'ahk follow Blake.

They find Team SSSN outside the arena, "Hey guys!" Yang calls out and they turn towards them. "Nice job out there. For a few moments, I thought you were gonna choke that match,"

Sun waves it off, "Pfft, we had that match in the bag. And we're gonna keep winning all the way to the finals and the trophy. Nothing's stopping us,"

"Well, just be careful. Because if you end up facing us, you may want to rethink that," Blake gives him a challenging smirk.

"That'll just make our win even sweeter," Sun remains confident.

"Well, anyway, while we're here, we haven't had the chance to introduce you guys yet. Voshkie'ahk, this is our friends, Sun, the one with blue hair is Neptune, and that is Sage and Scarlet. They're from Mistral," Blake introduces everyone.

Voshkie'ahk gives a polite bow "A pleasure to meet you. My name's Voshkie'ahk Ryukado,"

"Yeah, she's-," Yang begins, until Neptune suddenly steps up in between them.

"The pleasure is all mine, beautiful. I hope you were watching my match up close," Neptune goes into flirt mode again.

Voshkie'ah takes a step back, "Y-Yeah, I did. Including the parts where you were too afraid to go near the water," she giggles a bit.

And thus, Neptune loses some of his cool, "Y-Yeah, um, well, that was just... a façade. All part of our plan to get our opponents to let down their guard so we could take them down. I wasn't afraid at all," Neptune tries to play it off.

Voshkie'hk raises an eyebrow, "Right, well congratulations on your win,"

"You are too kind. So, I assume you're going to watch the rest of the tournament. I know some good seats, and where the best food is. Maybe we could have a bite together before watching some more fights. I know just the place," he puts the moves on, but while the guys facepalm, Blake glances worriedly at Yang... who's hair is already on fire.

"Um, sorry, but there's a very good reason why I can't accept that?" Voshkie'ahk glances between her girlfriend and Neptune.

"Oh, what would that be? I'm sorry if I came on as being rude," Neptune has no idea about the wildfire standing behind him.

"No. One: I only like girls. And two: my girlfriend is standing behind you," Voshkie'ahk points to Yang.

"Huh? Girlfriend?" Neptune looks behind him to see a red-eyed Yang glaring bloody murder at him. "O-O-O-Oh, Yang, so she's, uh, I mean, she's yours, huh. M-M-M-My bad, I didn't know that she and you were-," Neptune can't finish because Yang throws a haymaker that sends him flying down the hall and into a wall.

Yang turns her glare to the rest of the team, "Anyone else have something to say before I send them to the next life?"

The three boys quickly shake their heads, "Nope, we're good. We'll take care of the idiot on our team. Nice meeting ya, Voshkie'ahk. See you later!" Sun quickly says before he and his time run away to grab Neptune and find the nearest infirmary for their idiot friend.

Yang is still angry until Voshkie'ahk wraps her arms around hers, "Now, now, I was never going to take him up on his offer. No need to get worried. I'm YOUR girlfriend, remember,"

Her words calm Yang down as she takes a breath, "Yeah, sorry about that. Kind of lost my cool there,"

The two have a touching moment until, "Uh, yeah, should I leave you guys alone for a while?" Blake smirks.

The two separate, "Uh, sorry about that. So, um, what should we do now?" Voshkie'ahk asks.

"Come on. I'm sure we can find something to do," Yang leads the way and the trio head off.

Meanwhile, Weiss had met up with her older sister, Winter Schnee, who had come at Ironwood's orders (though, the truth was that security was fine enough, and he wanted Winter to have the chance to spend some time with her sister again). After introductions with Ruby... and an impromptu fight with Qrow Branwen that Ironwood and Ozpin had to break up, the two sisters were at a pavilion, enjoying some treats with mild conversation.

"So, you'll only be here for a few days?" Weiss asks, feeling a little down at the revelation.

"Yes," Winter begins as she puts her cup down. "I was merely needed to oversee the transport of additional units to Vale. Our last shipment was lost to an ambush. I believe you had a run in with its cargo actually. It's fortunate those Paladins were still in the prototype stage, otherwise you and your may have not fared so well," Winter notes, making Weiss look down. Winter then places her left hand on Weiss' right. "Weiss…You've done…well. Out here on your own. You should be proud. Thanks to you and your friends, Vale was able to avoid a great disaster and the Vytal festival was able to begin without any problems," Winter cheers her up, making Weiss smile again. "I'll be honest, it was quite amusing seeing Father's face the day you left for Beacon,"

"If only we had the chance to take a photo. Aw, memories. I wonder how he'd look if I told him about how my leader is two years younger than me," Weiss smiles.

At this, Winter's eyes gain a slight predatory look in them, "Ah, yes, Miss Rose. You've told me about her in your letters. So, tell me, how much progress have you made?"

"Progress? I mean, my grades are top class, and I've been getting better with my glyphs," Weiss doesn't get it.

Winter facepalms, "That's not what I was talking about, you boob. I was asking about how much progress you've made with Ruby Rose. Are you two together yet?"

Weiss immediately blushes at that, "W-What are you t-talking about?! We're not like that!" she shoots down the idea.

Winter sighs, "Oh, please, don't insult my intelligence. Nearly every letter you sent me had at least half the content focusing on your leader. And you were both nervous and happy at the same time when you introduced her to me in person. You don't have to be a genius to figure it out. It's obvious that you're quite affectionate towards her, even if you won't admit it," Winter notes. "Why must my sister be such a tsundere?"

"W-W-Winter, that is not something that can be discussed so openly!" Weiss argues.

"Meaning you've made little to no progress at all?" Winter fires back calmly.

Weiss looks away and crosses her arms, "Why would I be romantically interested in that dunce? She's got zero class, her grades aren't as high as mine, she loves cream and five sugars in her coffee, she has an adorable dog named Zwei, she likes cookies, but her favorite snack is actually strawberries, and when she whimpers like a dog, it's actually-," Weiss notices Winter smirking at her. "It's not like that!"

Winter sighs again, "The fact that you listed off so many intimate details about her says otherwise. Honestly, if you had half as much courage in romance as you do on the battlefield, then you'd have her stripped of her clothes, bent over on your bed, and begging you to use her as much as you want and then some," she says such vulgar things like its nothing, which only makes Weiss blush even more.

"Winter, I have some grace, thank you very much. I'd at least take her out on some dates and to dinner first! Then work my way to-," Weiss falls into her sister's trap once more. At this point, Weiss finally gives in and slouches in her chair. "Okay, fine... I like Ruby,"

"Admitting to the truth is the first step to fixing your situation. You've made progress," Winter smiles.

Weiss sighs, "Yes, yes. So, what do you propose since I'd just be wasting time denying it now?" Weiss gives up at this point.

"Well, you've obviously learned quite a bit about your leader, which saves us some time. What about her? How well would you rate her ability to understand situations that could potentially lead to romantic confessions or signs of that sort of thing?" Winter asks.

"On a scale of one to ten... three," Weiss states bluntly.

"Ah, so she's innocently oblivious. That will be a detriment, but at the same time, it could be a boon for us. Provided we play our cards right," Winter thinks.

"And how do you suggest we do that? We still have a tournament to win and I'd rather not have so many things in my head while I'm fighting," Weiss asks.

"Are you fighting in the doubles round?" Winter asks.

"Yes, we took a vote and decided to send myself and Yang into the doubles round. When we win, we were planning on sending Yang into the singles rounds for the final stage of the tournament. As much as I hate to admit it, Yang offers our best chances of winning. While I have far greater skill in using different kinds of Dust, Yang is the better fight in close range combat, and she's more versatile than many think," Weiss explains.

"Oh, well than that will give us the perfect opportunity for the first step into making Ruby Rose yours," Winter starts getting an idea.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Weiss gets nervous as Winter eyes her with a big smile.

Meanwhile, Voshkie'ahk and Yang met back up with Ruby and found Qrow along the way. Blake went to hang out with Velvet from Team CFVY for a while, so it was just the four of them.

"You'll never beat me old man!" Ruby yells.

"Hah, you're nothing but talk kid," Qrow replies.

"You can do it, Ruby!" Yang pumps her fist.

"Get him, Ruby. Kick his drunk butt!" Voshkie'ahk cheers.

Ruby and Qrow are playing a video game in Team RWBY's room, with the couple cheering Ruby on, until...

"Soaring Ninja wins! Total annihilation!" the game announces as Qrow's character wins against Ruby's, much to the team leader's dismay.

"And by the way: don't ever call me old," a cocky Qrow replies to a sulking Ruby.

Yang then suddenly jumps in, knocking Ruby away and catching her scroll, "My turn,"

"So, where was I?" Qrow asks.

"You were telling us about your last mission!" Ruby cheers as she sits next to Voshkie'ahk on Weiss' bed.

"Right, right, so... I come across a small village in the swamps southwest from Mistral. Right off the bat, I knew something wasn't right," Qrow tells the story.

"What were you doing there?" Ruby quickly gets hooked into it.

"I needed information. Tired from battling Grimm along the way, I decided to start my search at the village's inn. That place was crawling with lowlifes, thugs, and even a few huntsmen that I can assume had been hired by less than reputable people for less than respectable jobs. And that's when it happened..." Qrow gets ominous.

"What happened?" Voshkie'ahk asks.

"...I was defeated... by the mere sight... of the inn keeper's skirt length!" Qrow jokes, causing Yang to get distracted and lose the match against her uncle.

"Soaring ninja wins. Total annihilation!" Qrow wins again, and then catches a pillow thrown at his face by an angry Yang.

"You are the WORST!" Yang whines.

The other three laugh at her expense, "Best two out of three," Qrow offers and the two have another match. "So, you kids made it to the doubles round. You confident you can win the whole thing?"

"Duh, in case you forgot, we stopped a Grimm attack by Roman Torchwick, and shut down Dr. Merlot's mad science project. I think we can handle some students from the other academies," Yang notes off.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that. It's nice to be confident, but you can't get cocky..." Qrow notes right before he beats Yang again, much to the blonde's ire. "Or else you'll get your butts kicked when you least expect it,"

"He's got a point, Yang. You can't get careless. Every challenge is different from the last. Too much confidence can lead to arrogance, and that can lead to failure. Dr. Merlot is a prime example," Voshkie'ahk notes.

"Your girlfriend's got a point, firecracker. You'd best be careful out there. Each team fighting here is the best from the academies. They won't go down that easily. The good thing is that you don't have to worry about dying in this fight. So, Voshkie'ak, you enjoying the tournament?" Qrow turns to Voshkie'ahk.

Voshkie'ahk smiles, "Yes, I'm really enjoying it. It makes me more inclined to join one of the academies so that I can one day compete in it,"

"Well, you'd definitely make it into the academies with no problems. Not with your skills. But, you still have time to decide. You've got your whole life ahead of you now, kiddo. And you've got the freedom to do so," Qrow then gets up. "Now, I can't be spending time with you kids all day. You're gonna cramp my style," he turns to leave. "Listen, you kids still got a lot to learn, and don't think that graduation means you're done. A day out there is worth a week in this place. You three, you're gonna go far, but only if you keep on learning. If you never stop moving forward," Qrow then leaves the room.

"Wow, that actually sounded pretty inspirational. Hard to believe it came from him when he's drunk all the time," Voshkie'ahk notes, making the sisters laugh.

"Yeah, well, he might be weird at times, but he's cool. Anyway, I need to get out of this video game funk, so... you're up now, Voshkie," Yang tosses her the scroll.

Voshkie'ahk catches it with a look of shock, "Wait, what?!"

A little later, Qrow meets up with Ozpin and Glynda in his office, "So, you wanted to see me?"

"You know, you're lucky Ironwood was there to diffuse he brawl between you and Winter Schnee. Honestly, I know you like stirring up trouble sometimes, but I really don't need to deal with your antics when we have an entire festival to oversee. Anymore, and I may even be forced to drink like you," Glynda groans while holding her head.

Qrow takes out his flask, "I'm willing to share, you know," he wiggles it in front of her playfully.

"Get that out of my face or you'll lose that hand, Qrow," Glynda threatens him.

Though he's still smiling, Qrow retracts his hand because he knows that Glynda isn't making an empty threat. The last professional huntsman that tried a similar stunt on her ended up having to get a prosthetic... twice.

"Now, now, you two. I think we've had enough excitement for one day. How has Miss Ryukado been doing?" Ozpin asks from his desk.

"The kid seems to be doing alright. Yang and her friends have been making her feel right at home. You still itching to try and get her to enroll at Beacon?" Qrow crosses his arms.

"Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested. She has displayed incredible skill, but I haven't forgotten why she became a warrior. Unlike the students who enroll in training academies all over the world, she didn't have a choice in the matter. The inheritance she received after her family's deaths will support her for a while, but not forever. After the Vytal Festival, it will be a little while before the next term. Luckily, she should have just enough finances to keep her aloft until that time. If she were to enroll here at Beacon, then she'd be provided all the necessities she would need to live here for the next four years. Of course, if she wishes to enroll at a different academy, then I won't stop her. While Teams RWBY and JNPR will be here, they will be second years, so she won't be able to see them as much. More so, she'll be on a team with people she doesn't know. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, but I do feel a little concerned for her, given her past," Ozpin explains.

"When she defeated Cardin Winchester before the tournament, she showed everyone that's already here how skilled she is. I have no doubt in my mind that if she enrolled, then she'll easily outshine next year's new students. I'm sure there will be many trying to get her onto their team... or many boys trying to get beneath her skirt," Glynda rolls her eyes at that last comment.

"Well, once they find out she's already taken, that shouldn't be a problem. Yang already solved that problem for all the students currently here. Not the most subtle approach, but effective either way," Qrow notes.

"And I think we can assume that she'll have to do something similar when the next batch of students come. As long as it doesn't lead to any bodily injuries, I think we can give them some leeway," Ozpin doesn't seem too concerned on the matter.

"You make it sound like it's a definite that Voshkie'ahk will want to enroll here," Qrow raises an eyebrow.

"Well, love is a powerful form of persuasion after all," Ozpin smiles as he turns around to look out the window while sipping his coffee.

Weiss is on her way back to her team's dorm to think on a few things. She had spent more time with her sister, who had helped her train with the summoning aspect of her semblance. She also gave her some advice about her future and what she wants to do rather than what her father wants to do. Finally, Winter left her sister some parting words that keep popping up in her head.

"The next time you see your leader, you need to take the opportunity to get her into situation where you're in control and make your feelings known. If she's as dense as you say she is, then you need to take the first step. Only then can you progress, and only then will you have her wrapped around your finger and turned into your lust-crazed pet to ravish as you please," Winter's parting words make Weiss blush a deep crimson again.

"I can't believe my sister would say such things like it's no trouble at all. What? Did she think she had to say those things to get me to say what she wanted me to say," Weiss sighs after shaking her blush off.

When she finally reaches her room, she comes in to find the rest of the team, Team JNPR, and Voshkie'ahk playing board games together. Of course, the second she sees Ruby, Winter's words echo in her head again. She thought about just not doing it. Her sister would be leaving tomorrow, and then she wouldn't know about it. However, this is Winter Schnee. She knows; she always knows.

"Oh, hey Weiss, you want to join in? We were just showing Voshkie how to play Remnant the game," Ruby offers. Weiss doesn't answer and instead walks right up to Ruby. "Um, Weiss?"

"I... I came to broker terms," Weiss says, confusing the group.

"Huh?" Ruby tilts her head in confusion.

"If Yang and I win the doubles match tomorrow... You... You... YOU HAVE TO DATE ME!" Weiss suddenly shouts.

1...2...3... "...Huh?" everyone in the room aside from Weiss is just incredibly confused.

And that's the chapter. Okay, so I made Winter a little OOC. I wanted to have some fun here at Weiss' expense (she's taking too long to make a move on Ruby anyway). More fun with the gang, and plenty more to come. That last bit at the end I got from an anime I watched years ago (can anyone guess which anime it is?) What will happen next? Until then, please Read and Review.
