It's been almost a week since I came to this universe, I'm sitting right now at my parent's funeral surrounded by my father's work friends the GCPD cops, and the detective. I saw a recognizable faces James Gordon the Commissioner of GCPD. a middle-aged man with white hair. he came to me and say his condolence and share some of my father and mother's stories in the force.

after the funeral, some of my parent's friends came to the house giving condolence and food. people gather and mourn together.

but at the end of the gathering, I saw someone coming to the house, someone who I never thought to come at all. Bruce Wayne The Playboy millionaire AKA Batman.

people were shocked at his entrance he shook hands with other people and finally come to me.

he ask for some privacy and we went ahead to go to the backyard to talk.

"I'm sorry for your loss Shawn, I know what it's like to lose your parents, I know how heartbreaking that feeling is. but you should never give in to those feelings."

"Thank you Mr.Wayne for your advice."

"What is your plan now young man? you 18 years old and graduated from high school. any plan to continue to Gotham university I think I can help you out with some scholarship if you want" Bruce says to me.

Wow, he must feel guilty that he cant save my parents.

"I'm thinking about moving away from here Mr.Wayne. I don't think that I can stay in this house any longer, so I'm going to take my inheritance of this house or any other property my parents have and liquefied all the assets. with that and my parents saving and insurance, I think I can build a new life. I'm thinking of some nice town like a happy harbor and either continue my study or open some business."

Bruce ponder for a moment " well I can't make your stay, even I went and leave the city when my parents died, I know the feeling" he then shakes my hand and leaves.

after a couple of days with the help of some lawyers and some real estate agents, I manage to sell my house and some of my parent's other property quickly, and they even pay the above the ng price like way above. I think I might know who the buyer is. and my insurance money a been finalized and sent to my account. I opted to take all of it at once.

and in the end, I manage to get 2.7 million in my bank account.

I pack my bag and get all of my documents and say goodbye to Gotham City.

I'm taking suggestions for what should mc do, continue to study, or just open some business like smoothie or burger place(I'm leaning on the business plan).
