"Who the heck are you?" Jessika asked as the multiple-arms alien led her and Rey into its adobe.
"Recognise who this is?" the alien picked up a hologram and Rey gasped. "That's…Master Kenobi! He's so young!"
"Well, yes that was taken during the Clone Wars," the alien replied. "He was a great friend of my father."
"I learnt a bit about General Kenobi from the academy," Jess remarked. "They of course didn't teach us about his friends on Coruscant. What did you say your name was again?"
"Dex Jettster Junior. My father owned a diner, Dex's Diner right here. He made good friends with Obi-Wan who helped stop robberies from the diner. Obi-Wan prominently asked my dad about a Kamino saberdart years before dad passed away from natural causes. Say you girls hungry? I still have dad's old stove." Minutes later, both girls were tucking into freshly-made nerburgers. It was the best food Jess had tasted in weeks; after all they had been living on ration packs and tinned meals.
"So, what brings two girls to this now gang-infested planet?" Dex Jr. asked.
Jess cocked her head. "I need an energy modulation circuit to activate my lightsaber," Rey explained.
"Ah, Jedi equipment. I may be a mere cook, but I do know some technical stuff. There are as mentioned, hordes of gangs, two in particular hoogle over electronic gear which should include your modulation circuit." They were named, 'Proud Girls' and 'Electro Know-It' and Dex Jr. gave directions to their locations. After helping clean up and charging their blaster pistols, the girls thanked him and decided to head first to the female gang.

Somewhere in the galaxy
"What?! That not a rumour, if they landed on get them!" Kylo Ren yelled at the intelligence staff sergeant. After the lackey scuttled away, Kylo immediately ordered his personal craft prepared.
Coruscant
"What a hideous disguise," Jess groaned but Rey replied that they both needed to hide their faces so Jess had dirt marks and dyed blonde hair while the Jedi Knight was equally streaked with black paint and dyed her hair purple. Both girls were out of their jumpsuits and in old dark brown pants and shirts that Dex Jr. found for them. Rey had left her uncompleted lightsaber behind, deciding to use and trust the Force while Jess had other ideas.
"So, 'Proud Girls,' hope they aren't exactly like their name," Jess muttered. Rey immediately moved forward and greeted the nearest girl dressed in all black clothes. She immediately started describing what she required.
"Ha what do ya think I am? A shopkeeper?" The girl scoffed and turned to her fellow gang members. "Look this vagrant, these two vagrants, want some technical part." The whole lot laughed. "Yeah, we know what you want, but you're going to kill the silly Electro Know-It gang, at least two of them. Bring us their bodies and you'll get what you want."
"I'll pay you 10,000 credits for it now," Rey continued which was truthful; they both had more than that amount of money drawn out of mostly Jess' bank account before they were 'banished.' Rey didn't wave her hand as she again wanted to hide her true identity. To her surprise, the girl didn't accept and repeated her demands.
Rey yanked Jess' arm and they turned back. "What happened? I thought Jedi mind tricks worked," the X-Wing pilot asked.
"True, but some species can be resistant." She explained Master Luke's failure to influence Jabba the Hutt's mind. "Anyway, they are lying, partly. They do have half of the parts for an energy modulation circuit, and the other gang has the other half." Jess ran after her and after passing through more derelict buildings and damaged roads, they reached the other gang's hideout. This lot was, in contrast, all male and they all surrounded the two girls immediately.
Rey again rattled off the description of the device she required but the nearest member scoffed. "We don't know what you're saying, but you're damn hot, especially you," he leered towards Jess and she gave him a dirty look in response. The girls were certainly trapped when suddenly there was an enormous crash with the half-broken buildings cracking into pieces and striking all the gang members.
"You know you could have…" Jess quickly drew out her hidden blaster and shot an injured gang member dead, "warned me in advance before you use your Jedi tricks."
"Apologies, had no time and they weren't going to give up anything. That was a great move." Rey replied. She used the Force again to clear the rubble and found the half of the modulations circuit. She also used the Force to lift one of the dead bodies and easily lifted one of the bodies over her shoulder. "You want to grab the other body? I can use the Force." Jess shook her head and surprised herself again as the dead body felt light against her back. After another torturous walk, they returned to the Proud Girls gang, presented what this gang demanded and Rey calmly asked again for what she required.
"No way…" Suddenly a shot rang out and the female gang member fell dead. More shots zapped out and the other members tried to scatter but more were shot dead. Instinctively, Rey pulled Jess down and reaching out with the Force, she found what she needed and both girls managed to escape.
"Who the heck shot them? Another gang? More bounty hunters? First Order?"
"I don't know, whoever or whatever it was, it sure saved our backs," Rey responded as she fixed the parts of the energy modulation circuit to her lightsaber.
"This planet's danger changes almost every hour," Dev Jr. added. "I'm lucky to be alive and …woah!" Rey's lightsaber suddenly activated, shining a dazzling purple blade.
"Amazing!" He and Jess exclaimed. Less than an hour later, both girls had scrubbed off their marks, washed away their dyed hair and changed back their clothes. After receiving more freshly-made nerfburgers, Sic-Six-layer cake and even an easy recipe for Shawda club sandwiches, the girls profusely thanked the young Besalisk and headed back to their shuttle. Just when everything seem joyful, three weird-shaped craft surrounded them just as they shot out to space.
"Freighter Liberation, you did not land in a space port nor are you cleared to take off," the same controller they heard previously announced. "Follow our fighters or…"
Yavin 4
Around the time
The breakaway Resistance group led by Commander Poe Dameron all headed for the former Rebel base on Yavin 4. Poe had personally chosen this well-known location as his parents had previously settled there and his idol, Wedge Antilles knew it. The first to land were Iolo Arana and Zari Bangel from their skirmish around the Anoat system. Next came Niv Lek, Nien Numb and Teffer after destroying First Order forces around Bespin. Then the A-Wing group consisting of L'ulo L'ampar, Greer Sonnel and Tallissan Lintra who were nearly trapped around Naboo. More who were allied in Poe's stance followed such as Major Doctor Harter Kalonia, Commodore Meta, Rear Admiral Guich and Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix had followed. Senator Varlorous deep influence had drawn people like Lema Eelyak, Taslin Brance and Admiral Ushos O. Statura to stay by Varlorous' side. The most crucial figure, Grand Admiral Gial Ackar was under arrest by Varlorous.
"Alright," Poe addressed the gang in front of the old hangar. "We might have broken away, but for a noble cause. We aren't official Resistance, we aren't rogue agents but we will as those who lived and fought here during the Galactic Civil War and after," he gestured to the surrounding walls and the exterior, "will be our guiding strength. Get good rest and may the Force be with all of byou." There was a thunderous applause and as Poe headed inside, Tallie chased after him but he mumbled an excuse. No excuse, she thought.
Poe's Quarters
Later that evening
"Yes?"
As he unlocked the door, Tallie entered. She was dressed in a skimpy nightie and intentionally lifted up one side to reveal translucent bikini panties.
"Hey, Commander…or should I say Poe," she purred sensually.
"Where the blazes did you get…" Poe's words were cut off as the A-Wing pilot rapidly advanced and flopped herself next to him.
"Sssh," she laid her body next him, her cleave shocking him again. "I just wanna discuss matters…privately," she splattered kissed directly on his mouth. Soon enough, both of them were quite undressed and Poe was deeply asleep. Your're mine now, Tallie smiled. Screw you Jess.
Some hyperspace lane
Just outside Coruscant
"Man, you were great, though I thought our craft would break apart after that wild manoeuvre," Rey hugged Jess repeatedly.
"That's called Pava's spin and I even amaze myself," Jess replied as she tapped the main console. "You're taking us to?!"
"Dandoran. You got your lightsaber. I want to head home and see what those rats did to my planet."
