Let's start with the obvious, I still don't own either Fairy tail or My Hero Academia. Those belong to their respective owners and publishers. Second I would like to thank everyone who followed and or favourited this story so far. I try to update once a month, unless muse kicks in, or real life decides to be a pain in the ass. Now let's get back to where we left off.

- Roof of a parking lot Musutafu third person POV -

Two teenagers groaning as they got up from the heap of limbs they had formed and not in the fun way. Natsu, our pink haired friend got up first as he was the one lying on top of Izuku. The green haired boy, who was currently rubbing the back of his head got up after him. Nervous as Izuku was his mind was already going a mile a minute, thinking if this was the result of a quirk, or how he could get out of there. The reason why he wanted to get out of there was that Natsu was currently cursing at the representation of the afterlife in a not so subtle voice. ''REALLY IGNEEL, YOU OULD HAVE TOSSED ME ANYWHERE, WHY ON THIS GREEN GUY'S HEAD?''

The Representation of the afterlife, who was currently looking over the scenario from above face palmed, sighing to himself. 'Oh well, that could have gone worse, at least they met before anything too bad happened.' Following that thought it spoke into Natsu's head. ''Natsu, it had to be this moment, or it would have been all for nothing. He was about to pull a Gray.'' In the meantime our green haired protagonist had started to move towards the door that connected the roof to the stairwell. Muttering to himself about crazy salmon haired guys who had to have teleportation quirks and bad timing, how he would only be in the way, maybe wait behind the door and try again after the weirdo had teleported away.

Natsu had seen Midoriya move, but with him being pissed at being thrown on top of him hadn't stopped him from moving yet. In fact the dragonslayer got even more pissed off when he heard at what moment he had been dropped into the universe. Throwing a punch towards the door, with orange flames leaving his fist. ''You're not going onywhere Greeny, not until we had a talk, or a fight, or both.'' Izuku backed away from the door as fast as he could, which in turn led him back to the edge of the roof. Only for Natsu to rush in, grab Izuku by the collar of his school uniform, lift him up and drop him a good distance from the edges and the door. Plopping Izuku unceremoniously on his but he sat down cross-legged in front of him. Fire seemingly coming from the glare that he had pinned Izuku with. ''Now why did you have to go and almost pull a Gray?'' Natsu asked Izuku with clear annoyance coming from his words.

The green haired teenager looked at Natsu with not a slight amount of fear and confusion. Izuku had no idea what the pink haired boy meant with 'pulling a gray'. Not only that, the other boy was strong, stronger than Kacchan, had fire that he could throw around and even teleport. Natsu, being as impatient as ever had a tick mark on his forehead and was about to tear into the green haired boy with more angry words, only for the uniformed boy to speak, well stutter. ''I-I-I I ddon't know what pulling a-a GGray is..'' Natsu couldn't help but have only one reaction to this, the very same reaction as the representation had just had to his stupid question. One face palm later he looked at the other kid again, this time through the fingers of the palm that was still on his face. Slowly letting his hand glide down his face, distorting his features Natsu sighed.

Trying to cool himself off a little Natsu focused on the guy sitting in front of him, not noticing, or simply not caring that it made the other boy even more uncomfortable. He needed to think about this, after all he had 79 years of memories and knowledge. True he had a roughly 14 year old body, but the kid didn't know that. Taking a deep breath he tried to be a bit more patient than normal and not straight go to the ass kicking part. ''Pulling a Gray means that you were planning on getting yourself killed, in any form of suicide. Whether it be with noble intentions or not, named this way after a good friend of mine Greeny.'' Izuku's jaw dropped, there was no way that this kid knew what he had been planning on doing, or so the green haired boy told himself.

Getting defensive he tried to fight the words that the pink haired boy had said to him. ''N-N-No I wa-wasn't planning oon doing anything l-like that. I just came up here to admire the view that's all.'' Slowly his stutter had become a bit less, even though it was still prevalent in his speech. Natsu shook his head, looking Izuku in the eyes as he had said these words. ''Kid don't lie to me, I can practically smell the lies.'' As a matter of fact he could smell the lie in this case. With his nose being as sensitive as it was in his youth he had smelled the extra sweat buildup, which was one of the many tell of humans telling a lie.

The one thing about this that struck Izuku and his analytical mind as odd was that Natsu referred to him as a kid. A guy that looked to be around the same age as the green haired teenager. ''Excuse me, what do you mean by k-kid. You're about as old as I am?'' Or so Izuku thought and muttered out loud. Natsu winced as he heard these words muttered, thinking to himself he had already blown his cover. Not that it was much of a cover for that matter. ''That's none of your business, also that wasn't an answer.'' Trying to dodge the question himself. Izuku took this the wrong way immediately and started to back away again. ''Yo-You're a villain aren't you…HEEEELP HEROOO HEEMPHMPF'' Getting a very warm hand clamped over his mouth with added angry words. ''No I'm not a villain you idiot and shut up.'' Izuku had been planning on biting Natsu's hand the moment that he could. Only for the hand to be removed from his face.

Izuku still freaking out started a barrage of questions at that very moment. ''If you're not a villain, then how can you teleport, throw fireballs, have multiple quirks and why would you stop me from pulling a Gray, if only to not have anyone pay attention to this place, why would you keep me here and why do you look so shady?'' This time clamping a hand over his own mouth trying to not get incinerated on the spot.

Meanwhile the representation scratched himself behind the head, thinking that he might have picked the wrong person, at the wrong time and the wrong place. On the other hand, there was no better person than Natsu to help Izuku at that moment, but the introduction could have gone better, 'Oh well, let's enjoy the fireworks.' The representation pulled out a chair and some popcorn looking over what was going to happen.

Back with the two teenagers Natsu cried out. ''AAARGH, could you stop firing questions for like two seconds you're worse than Happy when he's had too much sugar.'' At moment's like these Natsu found himself admiring master Markarov, Mirajane and Erza so much more. As they have had to deal with some of the same tics from him in the past. If only that was him badgering them to fight him. It can be said that Natsu did grow up a bit, not a whole lot. Because let's face it people Fairy tail wizards don't do the whole growing up thing. Which was often embodied by their masters joining in with the regular brawling, drinking and going overboard when it came to jobs.

''Okay let me start at what I can remember you yelling at me. I am not a villain, never have been, never will be. How I can teleport and me calling you a kid well…how shall I put this…I am not from around here…Nor am I as old as I should be…'' With those halting words Natsu launched into a highly animated story of what sort of happened to him. Leaving out certain bits and pieces here and there. Like who had send him, or why he had know about the plan Midoriya had by coming to the rooftop. What he did touch upon was the fact that he could shoot fireballs by being a mage. To which Izuku responded by asking if it was like a quirk, but with more options that let him teleport and the like.

Giving the negative to that train of thought Natsu explained that that was solely due to the fact that he was send here by some power, not explaining that he was send by the afterlife itself. ''Also forgive my rudeness, I'm Natsu, Natsu Dragneel and you are?'' Introducing himself had not been high on the pinkette's priority list, but now that the conversation was going he figured he couldn't keep calling the other boy Greeny, or kid. ''Izuku Midoriya, pleased to meet you'' Izuku replied, trying to keep civilized as his mother would want. Not because he really felt like it, though the young man was intrigued by what Natsu called magic. ''Natsu didn't you call your quirk Dragonslayer magic?'' The reason why Izuku asked this was that it sounded cool, but Natsu had said something about a magical core.

Natsu raised his eyebrows and shook his head, not really knowing how to answer this. Deciding to give it a go he went for it. Stubbornly calling his magic, well magic. As he had not grown up in this universe his was unique for that place as well. Explaining once more that his magical core allowed him to use Dragonslayer magic, like the breath of the Fire dragon, wingbeat of the Fire dragon and more. Izuku in the meantime was trying to break it all down in his head and had pulled a notebook from seemingly thin air, with the title 'Hero analysis for the future vol. 13'. Writing at speeds that rivaled Natsu's understanding when he had seen Lucy or Levy use speed reading glasses back home. Our green haired protagonist was coming to a conclusion that Natsu had only hinted at, very vaguely at that.

Natsu had hinted that he had been send there to help Izuku, only he had no idea with what. Which of course wasn't true in the slightest. Natsu had fully known why he had been send to that Universe, hell he had made the choice to go. ''Say Natsu…I know it isn't magic like you say your power is…but I have a quirk that is called Dragon Core… do you think it could work the same? And not be useless?'' That last bit was all Natsu really needed to head to know that he was where he needed to be. The tone in which it was said was both sad and hopeful. Izuku on the other hand had experienced firsthand how strong Natsu was, at least physically. That and he had felt the heat from the orange flames that had come his way.

Natsu looked at the other kid, coming a bit more to terms with the fact that he was young again himself. Therefore not knowing all of the answers, but what he did notice was that Izuku was smart, scary smart, like Levy smart. However the kid was as wimpy as his guild members when Erza was angry. ''One way to find out, here eat this.'' With that Natsu produced fire in his hand and held it out to Izuku. Thinking that this would work because even though it was a dragonslayer fire, it wasn't self produced. Izuku's eyes grew to about the size of saucers as they flames danced in front of his eyes. Thinking that Natsu was more dangerous than he had already thought. An annoyed tick mark appearing on Natsu's forehead once again as he urged Izuku on to eat the flames.

Izuku on the other hand was not getting impatient like Natsu was, Izuku was trying to figure out how or why he should do this. If it worked the green haired boy would actually have use for his quirk as long as he figured out how it worked. If not he would burn himself on the flames that were put in front of his face. Now that Izuku was thinking about it, it was not the strangest thing that he had ever tried to activate his quirk. That would have been drinking gasoline and trying to spit fire like his dad. Only to be rushed to the hospital and have everything pumped out of his stomach, while being yelled at that he was lucky he hadn't tried to inhale the gasoline. Izuku's mom had been watching him like a hawk for months after that and every time little Izuku came close to what he shouldn't eat or drink his mom would levitate him towards her. If that hadn't been bad enough, the endless comments from Kacchan and the other bullies were the worst part.

Now here though was a chance for Izuku to start using his quirk and be the hero All might had said he couldn't be. That had been the final drop the caused the bucket to overflow and take Kacchan's advise and throw himself off of a building, hoping to be born with a better quirk in the next life. What Izuku didn't notice was that he was mumbling half of this. Not enough for Natsu to get the entire picture, but enough to get a few hints here and there. What was also apparent was that Natsu was slowly losing the last of his patience. So far he was about to shove the fire straight into Izuku's mouth. The green haired boy suddenly felt the tip of his nose get uncomfortably hot and inhaled to tell Natsu to back off.

That was when the flames got inhaled by Izuku and he could simply keep on inhaling them, giving him a spicy feeling on the tongue and lips, like having eaten way too many hot wings in one sitting. Natsu's eyes sparked with mischief and the hope for a good fight soon as he increased the flames. Izuku's eyes went wide and kept inhaling, feeling something inside him filling up, energy surging through him, like he could take on the world and suddenly no more flames to eat. What had happened was that Natsu had cut off the supply, so that he still had energy left. That was quickly going to get annoying for the pink haired dargonslayer, his fourteen year old self did not have the reserves of his old body yet.

Izuku jumped up from where he had been sitting and kept moving in place, having way too much energy to stay still. When he looked out over the city from where they had been sitting on that parking lot rooftop he suddenly came to a grinding halt. It had gotten dark outside and he hadn't called him mom that he would be out late. The original note that would explain what had happened was still in his backpack, which was on the rooftop with Izuku and would never be read by his mom if Izuku could help it. What was more he needed to ask Natsu where he was going to go…

''Natsu, where are you going to go now seeing as it's getting late?'' Which left the pink haired boy to scratch his head and shrug, he would figure something out. Izuku quickly jumping in he said that Natsu could come with him, to his house. Seeing how nervous Izuku was suddenly getting Natsu connected the dots, the dots that spelled out 'I haven't told my mom I'd be gone long'. Izuku ended up dragging a struggling Natsu along home, no way that the green haired boy was going to take the fall alone, that and he wanted to show his mom the boy who had helped him with his quirk. Then again Izuku was sweating bullets, his mom was scary when angry.

Knocking on the door Natsu still tried to escape, wondering where Izuku suddenly had found the strength to drag him along, let alone hold him in place. Only vaguely recalling what had happened to himself after eating Etherion and later again after getting his second element. Hoping that for Izuku it wouldn't be that bad, to be sick for a few days. The power boost when those things had occurred though was tremendous. The door opened and a green haired woman had opened the door, a bit more on the chubby side, but still a good looking woman. After her husband had left her Inko had let herself go, only to find out that if she kept doing so she would be unable to keep an eye on Izuku.

Hence she had picked up training in the gym, but right then she was both crying floods of tears and still looking threatening to Izuku. ''WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAAAAAAS?!'' Inko cried and yelled at the same time, only then laying eyes on the still struggling Natsu. Her anger seemed to take a back seat, but the tears kept flowing, even if they no longer drowned her son. ''May I ask how this is and why you're holding on to him Izuku?'' Izuku put his hand behind his head and nervously laughed, hoping it would diffuse the tension. ''That..uhm..might take a while… mom''

Here is where I am going to leave it for now, a lot has been said, lots of information has been guessed and more insinuated. How will Natsu deal with a worried mother? How will Izuku react to his first element? What will the training for UA be, find out next time, maybe, I dunno. Leave a review/PM if you feel like telling me any thought about the story, or questions.

Have a nice day,

Snowfire out.
