Unlikely Heroine
Inside the Mishima Zaibatsu HQ Central Tower…
Julia and her allies met up with the 5th Tekken Rebel Force Division as they finally ventured inside the Mishima Zaibatsu Central Tower. It was here were Julia Chang could reach the command center room and try to disable the nuclear missiles that would launch from Ito Island. If she could not stop the launch electronically, then it would spell doom for the rest of the planet.
As her group started to ascend the atrium floors of the lobby they noticed a figure coming from the shadows entering into the light of the illuminating windows from the side of the building. Julia recognized a woman with blonde hair. She was carrying a larger man over her back and he was not moving at all. The 5th division's leader, Captain Misawa, ordered the woman to stop dead in her tracks. All soldiers began to circle the woman as she did what was told of her to do.
Captain Misawa: "Move forward at the light so we can see you!"
The woman does so…
Forest Law: "What the?"
Julia Chang: "Nina Williams?"
Nina (Sigh.): "Great. Just what I needed, more trouble."
Captain Misawa: "You're coming with us Nina Williams! Don't try anything foolish!"
Nina stayed quiet until Julia Chang spoke next…
Julia: "Are you leaving this place? What happened to Kazuya? And who is that over your shoulder?"
Nina: "Kazuya is gone. I'm just leaving here to give this guy some medical help. I'm in no position to fight an army."
Julia: "Can one of you guys carry him? Take him to the nearest medical tent!"
Rebel Soldier: "Yes Ms. Chang."
Nina gives Shaheen up to the Rebels…
Nina: "Now what?"
Julia: "We will move on and go to the control room. See if I can't stop those missiles from launching."
Nina: "Tch. Good luck, you won't be able to stop that launch."
Julia: "Why?"
Nina: "Kazumi changed the passwords. I have no way of cancelling the launch."
Julia: "That's ok. I'll figure something out. But…"
Rebel Soldiers surround Nina Williams with their rifles drawn…
Julia: "We can't let you go away either."
Rebel Soldier speaks: "Nina Williams, we will take you to see Lars. Try anything funny and you will regret it!"
Nina (hands in the air.): "If you insist." (Sighs.)
In an unusual turn of events, Nina Williams surrender herself to the Rebels as they cuffed and made her walk away with a group of about eight soldiers. Tiger, Julia, and Forest were really surprised by this. Condor was too worried about getting up to the command room as was Captain Misawa.
Condor: "Alright, we should keep moving."
So the group ventured on after Nina's arrest. They climbed stair after stair between each floor. It was eerily quiet and dark, but everyone remained on defense. They would not stop until they reached the 75th floor, the command center room. The journey took almost 25 minutes, but everyone finally reached this floor.
Obviously there was a big fight that took place in this level. It happened well before Julia's team arrived. Blood smears covered the walls and a few monitors while some clothes pieces were torn laying on the floor. Julia Chang managed to spot the main computer screen placed in the middle of the command room. It was still powered on by a generator.
Julia: "Guys! This must be it! The Zaibatsu's main computer!"
Forest: "Is it working?"
Julia: "Yeah, I didn't even turn it on. It is asking for the password to enter the main screen."
Condor: "I better type it in."
Julia: "How do you know it?"
Condor: "Lee Chaolan was able to get it through one of his hackers, but that's as far as they got with breaching security. He texted it to me while we were on our way here."
Julia: "Ok." (Steps aside.)
Condor types "Nothing is promised" in Japanese writing…
Access granted…
Condor: "There it's unlocked."
Julia: "Alright! Okay where to go from here."
Julia now had access to the all of the security features within the Mishima Zaibatsu's main computer. There were so many folders to shift through. It took a couple of minutes until she stumbled upon the file folder containing a link to the website of Ito's Island Nuclear Missile Launch site. When she opened it there was another problem. The entire missile program was firewalled and nothing could be done about it.
Julia: "The whole thing is blocked by a firewall program."
Condor: "Hmmm…Lee and his guys didn't mention this part to me."
Forest: "No! Crap! What do we do now?"
Tiger: "Aye chill out man! Julia might can think of something?"
Forest: "I…I can't help it! How much is left until the missiles launch?"
Captain Misawa: "About 2 hours and 12 minutes remaining."
Explosions could be heard nearby…
Julia: "What was that?"
Captain Misawa: "More fighting close by I'm here. Hope it is not our guys."
Julia: "I dunno everyone. I can try some passwords out but if it's completely firewalled. That may not be enough."
Condor: "Perhaps when Nina Williams is taken back to the camp, we could ask her how to take down the firewalls on the computers."
Captain Misawa: "Assuming she will squeal. It will be easier said than done."
Julia: "We should tell Lars about this."
Captain Misawa: "I'll do it." (Takes his phone out.)
After a brief talk with Lars…
Captain Misawa: "You're not going to believe this, but someone just volunteered to go and shut down the missiles manually before time runs out!"
Forest: "Huh? Who is it?"
Captain Misawa: "The volunteer is Anna Williams."
Everybody was in disbelief…
Tiger Jackson: "That's the skanky redhead chick right?"
Forest Law: "Yeah and that is Nina's sister!"
Tiger Jackson: "Is she gonna really go through with it?"
Captain Misawa: "Anna is on her way to the Rebel Camp base to get the exact coordinates from Lars. From there, Lars will have the IT team connect you to Anna's cellphone. That way you can give her the directions Julia."
Julia: "Okay. That sounds like a plan. At least I can access the layout of the island which should be here. (Picks the file on the hologram dashboard.) "And there is it."
Forest Law: "Wow! It's bigger than I thought."
Julia: "Yeah. And it has enough power to set the world on fire. She better hurry if she's serious about this."
More time passes…
Captain Misawa's phone rings…
Captain Misawa: "Misawa over." (After pause) "Oh commander! You got her to do it! Yes sir! Right away!" (To Julia and the others.) "Anna is on her way! The IT team should have sent you a text message with Anna's number on it, check it Julia!"
Julia looking at her phone…
Julia: "I see it. Calling her now."
Phone rings…
Anna's Pilot: "This is pilot 22709 over."
Julia Chang: "Can you guys read me? Over?"
Pilot: "Yes, we read you."
Julia Chang: "Ok…my name is Julia, I'm in the command room of the Zaibatsu HQ but we can't deprogram the missiles because the cybersecurity is too complicated even for me. So if you are trying to stop the missile launch manually, then you have to reach the circuit breaker at the basement mechanical room."
Anna: "The basement mechanical room."
Pilot: "Roger that. We are halfway to the island. Stay on the line so we can tell you when we arrive."
Julia: "Copy that. And thank you."
Pilot: "No thank you."
Minutes went by as everyone in the command room waited for the official landing from Anna Williams helicopter. The two hour countdown quickly got reduce to less than 50 minutes. A few soldiers got antsy and they were beginning to have doubts. But finally by the 45 minute mark, Anna's pilot spoke on Julia's phone by speaker. He and Anna made it to the shores of Ito Islands.
Maurice: "This is pilot 22709. We have arrived at the location. I repeat, we have arrived at the location."
Julia (Answering): "Oh good, good! When you guys land tell me if you can see a white shack on top of a hill on the island's Northside."
Once Anna left her chopper she began to talk with Julia once more…
Anna: "Hey if you're there, where exactly is this basement mechanical room? There is more than one level you know."
Julia: "The mechanical room should be on the fifth floor. There are seven levels all together. The mechanical room is just one room altogether. Let me know when you make it."
Anna: "Wonderful!"
Outside the call…
Forest Law: "You think she can do it guys?"
Tiger: "I hope so man. I ain't trying to die today!"
Condor: "The irony is that we are helping her to get this mission done."
Captain Misawa: "Don't jinx this people. Really. I had enough surprises for one day."
Anna: "I'm here!"
Julia: "Ok the control panel for the missile pads should be straight ahead from the other side of the room and look to your left. The panel should be located there on the wall."
Anna: "It is so hot in this room! I need to finish this job quick!"
With the temperature being over 30 degrees Celsius in the room, Anna jogged to the other side of the mechanical room. She found the circuit breaker for the launch pads on the left as Julia stated. Anna opened the hatch, but the metal handle burned her hand a little bit.
Anna: "Owwww! F*ck!"
Julia: "Are you okay?"
Anna: "The damn handle is hot! But I got it open!"
Julia: "Good! Now just punch down the last 3 rows of the switches and we should be done!"
Anna: "Alright! All switches on the last 3 rows."
Anna shuts off all 24 switches…
Anna: "It's done!"
Suddenly the smoke fumes could be heard going off all around the complex. It made Anna's vision hard to see, but the whole facility was starting to cool down. Anna raced out the room and climbed the stairs back to the hill outside. From the outside, the smoke was exiting out of the pad holes of all eight spaces. After catching some fresh air, Anna kept going until she could see Maurice come to her aid.
Maurice: "Anna! Are you alright!"
Anna: "Yeah!"
Julia: "Anna can you hear me?"
Anna: "Yes…I hear you."
Julia: "You did it! The missile countdown stopped! I'm so relieved!"
Anna: "Hey, for what it's worth! I couldn't have done it without your advice."
Julia: "Of course!"
Maurice: "Let's get back to the Samudra!"
Phone call ends…
Random Rebel Soldiers: "Alright! Wooooo!"
Everyone except Julia, Condor, and Captain Misawa were cheering in celebration…
Julia (Sighs): "Wow! It's over!"
Condor (pats her shoulder): "You did good to guide Anna through that base."
Julia: "Thank you Condor."
Captain Misawa: "Get it together boys! That's enough! We need to get out of here! Let's go!"
All soldiers: "Yes sir!"
Later that day…
The news of the missile stoppage spread incredibly fast across all three military forces within the city of Tokyo. No group was relieved to hear this news more than the Rebels. By the time Julia and her team made it back to the tent, they could see many soldiers getting ready to host a big party at the mess hall. Julia was certainly tired from the long day of fighting, but she was very hungry. So she and her friends patiently waited until it was time to get food.
Rodeo Montana had just returned from the long day's effort of fighting Zaibatsu forces in the air. He approached Julia's group at her tent before they began to walk towards the mess hall tent. Rodeo was certainly happy to see his friends all alive after the crazy ordeal they had to go through.
Rodeo: "Guys! Hey!"
Julia: "Rodeo!"
Tiger: "A sight for sore eyes! What's good partna!"
Forest: "Yo! You survived too!"
Rodeo: "Tell me about it all after we get some food! Man I was so happy to hear you guys get those missiles stopped! I was thinking all of our hard work would be for nothing if those things were launched in sky, ya know?"
Julia: "Oh it's a long story Rodeo. But yes, I am happy that it's all over now."
