Here we are again everyone, thanks to all who followed and favourited this story. Once again I will tell you all I don't own Fairy Tail, nor do I own My Hero Academia, if I did I was a far richer man. Now without further ado let's get back to the story and the fear that is a mom yelling at her child.

-Midoriya household third person POV-

As soon as Izuku had said that it might take a while to explain to his mom what had happened and why he was holding on to Natsu his mom had dragged him inside by the ear. Natsu wincing on shared pain, even if was only mental pain from the times that Erza had pulled that on him. The pink haired boy had more or less forgotten what it could be like when you first got an element that you weren't used to. After all the first time that he ate something that wasn't fire he had gone into what was known as Dragon Force. Only to be completely totaled for a few days after. The second time was after he had eaten the lightning from Laxus, only to get a power boost and his dual element and be conked out for a good while after.

The slightly rounder mother was tearing into her son with vigor and for the first time she remembered he actually went against her, while keeping a steady grip on Natsu's clothing. ''You don't get it mom, he literally helped me figure out what to do with my quirk. I can actually be a hero now'' With that Izuku did something he hadn't even asked Natsu how to do yet, nor did he really know what he was doing, he created fire in his free hand. Orange red flames danced across his palm with a hint of green here and there, because of course there'd be green in there. Inko's eyes going from worried, angry, teary, but very focused eyes to basically worried, shocked and very wide eyes at what was happening.

Natsu on the other hand got excited, flames of a colour he had never seen, or tasted before appeared close by. The dragon slayer swore to himself that he needed a taste of those flames, if only to know what green fire tasted like. Stopping his struggle his reversed action and leaped to Izuku's other hand and inhaled the flames that were manifested there. ''ITADAKIMAAAAS'' Which in turn got a strange look from Izuku added to the face that Inko had pulled. Sitting on the floor with the flames now in his own hand Natsu chowed down on the different coloured flames. Inko started stammering as she beheld the spectacle in front of her. ''I-I-Is this no normal Izuku?'' The only thing that Izuku could do was shrug and looked a bit bewildered himself. After all he had just met the guy that afternoon.

Sure they had hit it off well enough, especially after the whole villain misunderstanding had been cleared. That along with the talk about Izuku's quirk and where Natsu had come from, or the abridged version of where Natsu had come from and what he could do. This was new to him. Of course he had eaten Natsu's fire not that long ago himself, but producing flames for the first time, only to see them gobbled up like a treat was very new to him as well. Natsu's happy face to still be able to eat fire, even greenish fire, that somehow reminded him of tea flavor was good news to him. Swallowing the final bit of the flames Natsu became aware that the Midoriya's were staring at him. ''Do I have something on my face?'' With that bit of comedic timing the mom and son couldn't help but laugh and laugh loudly. If only to somehow laugh the strangeness away, or whatever went on in their heads at the time.

If there was one thing to ever be called by merriment it was hunger, or so it seemed at least. The reason why it made itself known was also not that hard to figure out. Izuku hadn't eaten anything since breakfast as his lunch had been taken, or rather exploded, by a certain rather volatile individual and Natsu had literally been reborn from the dead. With a loud rumble their stomachs announced their empty state and Inko's expression softened. It was not like she could stay angry long at Izuku, her husband was a case, same went for doctors for that matter. She still hadn't forgiven the medical experts for calling her son's quirk useless, only because they couldn't figure it out.

Ushering her son and unforeseen guest along to the kitchen she started to make some more food. While grilling some vegetables she also grilled the two for answers about the day. Izuku was rather hesitant in telling what had happened that day, especially about where they had met and what the situation had been. Natsu on the other hand had simply stated that he had been brought from the land of the dead to help her son with his quirk. After hearing quite a few things from both her son and the pin haired boy she decided not to comment on it. Not that she believed what the dragon slayer told her, or at least not completely. What she was happy about was that Izuku now had at least someone to talk about his quirk.

Of course there had been the family of her husband, which had ironically tried to make contact after Hisashi had dropped off of the face of the earth. After asking them if Hisashi had died and that's why they contacted her she had kindly asked for them not to do so. Or at least until they'd inform her that her husband was dead. She didn't exactly wish him dead, but she found it weird that her husband would vanish and her husband's family would ask after her and Izuku. Mostly Izuku's quirk as they had only heard from Hisashi that it was called Dragon core and considered it useless. They told her it had something to do with the family bloodline, especially the dragon part. She quite rudely hung up on them, but they didn't exactly blame her for that. They hadn't exactly been forthcoming about everything. Nor had they told her that her husband was more or less the black sheep of the family, when it came to family bonding time that was.

By now the food had been made and devoured in a record pace, only to be followed by yawning from the two boys. ''So Natsu, where are you going to sleep tonight, do I need to contact your parents and where do you go to school?'' The mom asked the pink haired boy. Only to be met with a very confused look by the dragon slayer. ''I uhm, I don't know where I am going to sleep, probably a tree or something.'' Yawning greatly with a tired flame coming from his mouth as he exhaled incautiously. ''Contacting my parents will be rather hard since they're dead and schooooo… OH SWEET IGNEEL IN THE AFTERLIFE NOOOOOOO'' The pink haired boy wailed.

-Meanwhile in the afterlife-

The representation was rolling on the proverbial floor crying tears in laughter, trying not to piss himself. It had forgotten the huge aversion that Natsu had for the entire concept of education if it did not convey how to kick butt, survive, kick some more butt, get food regularly and finally kick more ass. It had some things that it would give Natsu with due time, if only as boons for doing it a favor, but it would get to that later. Probably around the time the first communication moment between the two of them after sending Natsu to Japan.

-Back with the Midoriya household-

At the name Igneel Izuku and Inko had looked at each other, having heard that name being referred to as a few different things by now, teacher, dad, representation of the afterlife, but this was a first of Natsu wailing and claiming as even more than before. Or that was how it seemed to them. Inko took a good look at her son when the green haired boy had his eyes on the pink haired boy. For the first time in years she could see actual joy in his eyes and the flames of curiosity burning brightly. The same curiousness that flamed up within him when he was talking about the quirks of others, however this time it was about his own and the boy who shared a very similar one. Silently thanking whoever would listen that someone like that had come into her son's life she smiled. ''Well Natsu, at the very least for tonight you won't have to look for a place to sleep, you can sleep on the couch while we figure things out.''

At hearing this Natsu gave the green haired woman a bright smile, only to have his eyes water a bit and not just from trying to keep in the yawn that was trying to escape. The old man in the young body was moved emotionally far more than expected. He had only just landed in that world and someone was already showing the same kindness that the guild had shown him in Fiore. ''SLEEPOVER!'' Was the first word coming from Izuku after his mom had said this, only for him to run out of the energy that had been bestowed upon him by the unlocking of his first element, causing him to faceplant on the table they were still sitting at. Which in turn got Natsu to chuckle and pick him up. ''Inko, where is his room? I'll drop him in bed, I had a hunch this might happen. Also tomorrow he won't be able to go to school. At least if he functions the same way I do…'' After being showed Izuku's room Natsu followed Inko back to the living room where he was shown the couch to sleep on.

As this was going on he told Inko about the time that he had eaten lightning, or other elements before, which in turn had gained him new powers. However the drawback had been that he had been rather sick, or at the very least out of it for a few days. Which wasn't exactly too much of a drawback, considering the rather big power boost he got from it. A power boost that hopefully Izuku would share in this time around. It actually got Natsu to thinking, the representation had said the first element when it had send Natsu to Japan. Did that mean that Izuku would have more than one element? The answer to that in Natsu's mind was clear 'most likely he will have at least two elements, but I can't be sure if he has more or not' This due to being similar to himself, but not a dragon slayer with a magical core. Not the quirk was called dragon core and the representation had told him that it worked similar. That would all be stuff to figure out later as time went by, for now the entire new formed household needed sleep.

One might wonder why Inko had let Natsu sleep there, there are two main reasons. Reason one was that she was a mom and wanted the best for her child, if that was a person who claimed to be send from the afterlife to help him, so be it. The other reason basically once again boiled down to being a mom, seeing a child, or someone once more a child and have no one to care for them… It was all sorts of wrong to the woman not to take in someone who was more or less a lost child. That and she couldn't really have more kids at her age. Not that she had any intentions of have any more with the man who was Izuku's father, but she also hadn't found anyone new. That and biology was against her as well. Sure women gave birth at later ages, but it more often than not led to complications. So Inko would settle for having another person to look over, more or less, for now. Not that she wouldn't kee a close eye on the pink haired boy. After all being send from the afterlife, he must have hit his head or something and at some point remember where he truly came from. When that moment came, or when she would find the missing posters for a child with salmon hair she would contact his parents.

The next morning Natsu and Inko were up rather late as it had gotten late the day before, but as Inko was rushing to get breakfast on the table and Izuku to school she noticed he wasn't up yet. The green haired woman went to her son's room and found him lying in his bed, sweating profusely. His body temperature was sky high and it seemed like he was having fever dreams. Immediately she called the school to notify them that Izuku would not be at school that day and maybe a few after as he was sick. Straight after that she took Izuku to the hospital, the same hospital where she had gone to all those years back. 'If this is quirk related, they may know what to do' Or so the woman thought. What she had kind of missed was that she hadn't taken Natsu along when she had rushed out of the house. Only after Izuku had been placed in a bed and taken into a room for examination she had started to think again. The pink haired boy had warned her that Izuku may not be able to school that day, but he hadn't told her why. She had thought that Izuku might just be tired and just have a slow day, she hadn't expected this. The boy would be in for the grilling of his life, or so she said, only then wondering where the boy actually was. As she thought she paled slightly, she had left the boy at home, the only one who would be able to give answers….or might ruin her house…..or would be scared and lost being left alone…or whatever really.

That was the moment Inko felt like a shit mom, only having decided to look after the boy for a while the night before and now already forgetting him at their home, at the first sign of trouble. The worry about both boys almost becoming too much as she let herself fall down on a chair in front of the examination room, crying like the Midoriyas could, almost literal rivers of tears coming from her eyes. Her tears not letting up as the door opened and Izuku was rolled out bed and all, immediately at his side, only vaguely hearing the doctor saying something about worrying. She would decide if she would worry or not.

-Meanwhile with Natsu-

'I might not have taken the best course of action here' Or so the boy said to himself. He had gotten considerably smarter over the years, but when a fight and friendship was on the line he was still as reckless as ever. Thinking about it as he sat in the living room of the house he had been dragged into the night before a letter dropped into his lap. Startled from this thing as he was, he was curious. Being from a world where magic was real, things didn't exactly pop into existence all that often. Thinking on it if he should or shouldn't his curiosity won out and his fingers sliced open the envelope.

''Dear Idiot Natsu,

WHAT IN THE BLOODY BLAZES WERE YOU THINKING?!

Who in his right mind would just offer him fire if you knew what happened to yourself after getting your lightning upgrade, you absolute moron. Aside from that we are proud of the fact that you managed to stop him from pulling a Gray. Even though the icy dumbass is still yelling that he takes offence to that action being called ''pulling a Gray''. Suicide for the betterment of others and acceptance from yourself is not the way out, never has been, never will. You should tell Izuku that, the next time you have a little heart to heart, which should probably be in a few days or so.

The other things we're trying to tell you about, but the representation, who is currently co writing this letter won't let us tell you all about are in a random order: You, Izuku, school, heroes, quirks and ourselves. As the representation has told you before, time moves differently here and even we don't always get it. So we may know some things that you don't yet and the afterlife won't let us tell you. What we are allowed to tell you is that Izuku will be fine and his recovery time should be significantly less than yours. After all the representation did tell you about his first element. As you thought, yes that will mean there will be more, quite a few more, but what they are we don't know. Even up here they don't know exactly as Izuku is someone who has defied fate and time a few times here and in other universes.

Now about yourself, as you have decided to do that favor for the afterlife, it has given you some bonuses, like your dual element still being there and the knowledge of your previous life. What it didn't tell you about was that you will at a certain point be able to use your lightning mode separately from your combi element. When that is we can't tell you, but it will be awesome. Now about the school thing, you're going to have to deal with that and come to terms that you will have to go to at least two schools here. Aldera high, which is the school Izuku currently attends, along with a certain explosive character, who Izuku might name Kacchan.

The heroes thing is one of the reasons you will have to go to school, because only heroes are free to use their powers openly, which means your dragonslayer magic too. It's no quirk, but try convincing them of that and you will end up in jail, or worse. Finally we come to the bit about ourselves. We have been made more aware of the other universes and most specifically the universe you're in now. Having met some of the heroes from that place we couldn't agree more with the afterlife guild being able to recruit them. We have actually already recruited one of them, but she has requested not to tell you about her yet, aside from that one of her universe was recruited. That and if you ever met a man named Toshinori, you should tell him 'Nana wishes you would smile more as you have made her proud.' After that we might have gone on a brawl because she wouldn't tell us more. As she probably knew we would put it into this letter.

Now Natsu, don't be sad you won't see us for a long time, we can see you and we know we are in your thoughts. We're all proud of the choice you have made to help Izuku, like a true Fairy tail mage would.

Love Lucy, Erza, Mirajane, Gray (even though he won't say it), Levy, Happy, Gajeel (same as Gray), Wendy, Charla and the representation (even though it should be impartial). Keep trying.

Wiping a few tears from his eyes Natsu looked around for a piece of paper, a pen and an envelope. He didn't find any, but he would wait until Inko and Izuku were back. He would maybe be able to convince them that he truly came from somewhere else this way.

-Back at the hospital-

The examination of Izuku had gone quite quickly and the doctors had been seemingly stumped for answers. However in contrary to years prior, when they had almost given Izuku the quirkless status they had kept at it. The reason why they had kept at it was that it had not seemed logical. From one day to the next the boy had sparked a fever, the likes of which they had rarely seen, mostly from people with fire quirks that overheated themselves. As more often than not they had quite a bit of heat resistance, but nothing to truly counter the heat they were exposed to. He had been laid on a bed that had a cooling system running underneath, just for these kind of situations. As this was going on they explained to Inko every step of the way, while asking questions as what could have brought this on.

Inko on the other hand kept playing dumb, as she would rather not have them pull Natsu from their house the instant she talked about him. The reasons were simple, it would have been unauthorized quirk use, which would count as a criminal action, even though he was still a teenager. She did tell them that he had said to her that he had had a breakthrough with his quirk. What happened after that was that he was once again placed in the full body scanner, much like when he was four years old. Izuku had of course received quirk counseling, as all kids do when they go to school. The one thing that was sad for him was that his quirk had no tells what it did, or how it worked. Meaning that the counseling was given up rather quickly. The data had been placed in his public file, but that was nothing to go on.

As the shaking boy had been laid down this time for his scan, as it was easier for him a few things became clear. The very same core that they had seen before, or what they had dubbed a core was much more clear when it came to the lines. However it seemed there were more lines than initially thought, what they did was unclear, or how they effected the boy. The other things that showed were that Izuku had far more potential for physical development than his skinny frame showed at that moment. Inside one of the circles the doctor claimed to have seen before they saw something now, where it first was blank. What it was they couldn't tell. The only ones who could were Izuku and Natsu, one being the shaving shivering mess on the table. The other one not told about to the doctor, because he'd be shipped to jail or a mental institution, for claiming he was from a different universe.

The room with the scanner was dark and Izuku's vitals were on the screens. Beeping with warning signs at his heart rate, body temperature and mental activity. Once more spiking to even higher levels, drawing the attention from the doctor and his mom. Only with the doctor looking at the screens and Inko looking into the dark or the room. Only for the levels of his heart rate and mental activity to drop to normal right after. His body temperature stayed high, but not insane any longer. The doctor's jaw dropped and started running checks on his equipment as it made no sense. ''Doctor, is it normal for the one undergoing the scan to emit orange red light?'' The one thing that stopped the doctor from slamming his hand on the emergency button was the fact that no alarms were blaring into their ears. The woman was still looking into the dark room, but her hand was clasped on the doctor's shoulder. ''Get my son out of there, NOW!'' Immediately complying with the woman's demands he wheeled the bed backwards. The glow becoming much less visible now it was no longer confined in the scanner.

It seemed like Izuku had stopped shivering, even on the cooling bed he was on, his eyes had opened and they reflected the light from the control booth as he looked over to where he had heard the voice of his mom come from. With an ever so casual ''Can I move again now?'' Izuku sat up from his lying down position. Thinking to himself that it was weird that he was in the hospital and that he wasn't wearing a shirt. The orange red glow that had run over every outline on his body was gone now. He did have a bit of a tingly feeling near his abdominal muscles, or that was what it felt like to him. Only for the feeling to spread to his entire body for a few seconds and settle down. Like sliding into a warm bath after a very long day. Warm, but very comfortable. Unintentionally following that tingly feeling to the tips of his fingers, his jaw dropping when they now had the same orange red, with green flames on them as the day before.

Izuku's fever dreams had been rather bad, making his go through almost all of the shitty things in his life all over again and again and again. Practically thinking that he had jumped from that parking lot and had ended up in hell. Only the waking from those dreams, hearing his mom and now the fire at his fingertips made him sure of one thing. Meeting Natsu and the rest of that day had been real. ''Well that's new…'' Were the words that Inko uttered before she fainted into the chair she had been standing in front of.

That's where we wrap it up for now, leave a review if you feel like it, don't if you don't. Next time I'm hoping/planning for more action, but the story writes itself the way it wants to. I'm just the messenger putting it into my pc. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Snowfire out.
