This story is pretty much two stories in one as it's me writing a reaction while also creating a Pokemon Rejuvenation fanfiction simultaneously. Maybe this might not be the brightest of ideas, but I'll try my best at the very least.

"Screen Story Speech"

"Hey, buddy… any idea where we are?"

The voice of a young man wearing what looked to be a red hat along with some rather basic clothing had sounded, his voice laced with extreme confusion. The clothing the male wore consisted of the hat, along with a short-sleeved striped blue and white shirt, along with black pants and blue running shoes.

The rather high-pitched soft cry was heard soon after, originating from the small yellow creature that rested atop his shoulder. The creature looked to be reminiscent of that of a mouse, but yellow instead along with rather strange features. Such as pointy ears, along with a lightning-bolt shaped tail. This was Pikachu, the companion of the young man.

Both seemed to look around in confusion at the place they were at, which appeared to be a massive cinema of sorts. But he would have thought it to be normal if not for the visible transparent walls that revealed a swirling black void outside. The cinema seats also weren't cramped, they were rather spread and even let you lie down if you wanted.

Ash last remembered that he was getting ready to head on back home to Pallet Town in the Kanto region, and he wanted to celebrate his victory in becoming Alola's first ever champion. But, how in the world did they get here to this… place? His partner was just as confused as he was, there was no sign of teleportation either. It was as if they were just always here.

"Ash, is that you?!"

"H-Huh?" Ash turned his head around as Pikachu did the same. When they did, they were greeted by the sight of what looked to be a woman in her twenties, perhaps mid-twenties. She had long blonde hair and wore rather dark-coloured clothing. "No way, Cynthia?! You're here as well!"

"Indeed, I'm surprised to see you." The woman now identified as Cynthia smiled as she walked on over towards the young champion. Pikachu leapt into the woman's arms, and Cynthia smiled as she patted the Pokemon on the head. "Hehe~, It's great to see you again, Pikachu."

"Wow, it's been such a long time!" Ash grinned as he took Pikachu back from Cynthia. Ash then frowned through as he gazed around the room. "By the way, Cynthia. Do you possibly have any idea where we are? Pikachu and I found ourselves here without even knowing…"

"Unfortunately, we are in the same vote. Ever since the others and I ended up here, we've been looking around trying to find out any clues that may give us an answer." Cynthia sighed as she then added. "So far, we've made no progress. This just seems to be a cinema, which is rather strange…"

"I see… wait, others?"

"She means us, Ashton!" A rather deep voice called out suddenly as Ash looked over to the side to see a small group of four people walking over from the same direction that Cynthia had come from. "Been a while since we last saw one another! How's it been?!"

"No way, Alder?!" Ash gawked, as well as Pikachu, as the Unova champion waved with a goofy grin on his face. However, when he looked at the rest of the group, his face displayed even more surprise, if that was even possible. "Lance?! Steven, and Diantha too?!"

True to his words, all the champions from the different regions he had travelled across were here in the same room. Lance being the champion of Kanto and Johto, Steven being the champion of Hoenn, Cynthia the champion of Sinnoh, Alder being Unova's champion, and Diantha Kalos's champion. With him now being the Alola champion, that makes six champions!

"Don't forget me!"

"Hurry on over, boy!" Alder shouted behind himself as Ash rose an eyebrow in confusion at the unfamiliar voice. When Ash leaned to see who Alder was shouting to, he saw a young man in his twenties that wore rather interesting clothing to say the least… "Leon, this is Ash!"

"Nice to meet you!"

"H-Hi! Nice to meet you, I'm Ash Ketchum. And this is Pikachu!"

"Haha~! So, you're the Ash I've been hearing about, Alola's champion, huh?" Leon grinned as he looked at Ash with an excited look in his eyes. Ash could only sweatdrop a bit due to house close he was. "How about we have a battle sometime? It'll be fun! A battle between champions!"

"Oh, s-sure…! Wait, champions?"

"Oh, I completely forgot to introduce myself properly. My name is Leon, the champion of the Galar region!" Leon grinned widely as he held his hand forwards for a shake. Ash stared at him with a stunned look for a second before shaking his head and accepting the gesture.

"Galar region, I've never heard of it before…"

Ash had never heard of this other region before, but knowing about it was making him excited. He was curious to see what this new region had in store for him, and he was even more excited about Leon here. If Leon was a champion, then that must mean he was strong, just like the other champions in the room.

He knew that he was a champion himself now, but he wasn't sure if he could compare just yet to his more experienced seniors. Looking at Leon, he was obviously older than Ash by several good years. So, the dude had a lot of experience under his belt. He was curious if Leon was as strong as someone like Cynthia or Lance, or any of the other champions.

"As much as it is great to see one another, we should refocus on the main issue at hand." Diantha voiced out as she continued looking around the room with a critical look in her eyes. "We still haven't been able to find out just why it is we are here, or how it is we have been transported to this place."

"Not only that, but why it was us?" Lance decided to chime in. Steven followed suit as he then added. "Indeed. We all share a common thing, and it's that we are all hold champion titles. Whoever managed to bring all of us here must be quite something…"

"That's why we should be cautious. We need to find some answers…" Cynthia nodded as the others agreed fully. While they were champions, they were still human, so a sneak attack was more than enough to catch them off guard. But, to move them to this place instantly? Nothing normal could have done that. They knew for a fact they hadn't been knocked out either.

Pikachu suddenly let out a cry.

"Huh? What's wrong, Pikachu?" Ash asked in a confused manner as Pikachu then started pointing to the side. All of them looked to see that a large flash of light appeared two meters or so away from them. They were cautious as the light suddenly began to dim down. "Woah, what's that?!"

"Everyone, stay on guard!"

When the light dimmed…

"Ow! Alright, who did that?!"

"No way… Iris?!"

"Eh…?"

After Iris, the person that emerged from the flash of light, was explained what everyone had figured out so far. The group could be seen conversing with one another, with the older champions talking to each other while Iris and Ash were catching up due to not having seen one another for a long time.

"I never would have guessed you'd be the new Unova champion… so, you actually beat Alder?" Ash was awed as one of his travelling companions from the past had reached the title of champion, just like he had. Pikachu was also amazed as he stared at Iris with disbelief. Said girl was appearing rather smug as she crossed her arms.

"Yep, and you better believe it! You're looking at the new Unova champion!" Iris smiled as she soon added. "I heard about your victory as well! Congratulations on becoming the champion of Alola, Ash! That's a really incredible achievement that you made!"

"Thanks! Same to you!"

"That just means we're getting stronger, and only to get stronger from here on out." Iris grinned as she added that. Though, she soon shifted to a more serious look before continuing. "So, we're really stuck in this place? We know nothing at all, huh? Oh man, just what is happening to us?!"

"Well, first things first, we should calm down." Steven's amused voice sounded as the older group of champions walked on over to the two of them. "Panicking won't do us any good. For now, we should keep on looking around this place for a possible exit."

"Agreed. Report anything you may fin-."

"I see that you have properly greeted one another, very good." All of them flinched slightly at the sound of a foreign voice. They all darted their heads instantly around the area, soon stopping when they saw someone standing a few meters away from them. Though, what shocked them was the fact that the person was floating in the air!

They didn't see any psychic pokemon around, so how was he doing it? Was he a psychic himself?

Anyway, the person they saw appeared to be a young male who was probably sixteen or seventeen years of age. Fair skin along with a lean build and smooth black hair, along with rather casual looking clothing. A simple white t-shirt, along with sleek long black pants and black running shoes. Though, one thing really stood out, his eyes. They were a glowing royal blue colour, rather majestic really.

"Who are you, young man?" Alder was the one who asked this, a serious expression on his face. It didn't take a genius for them to all know that this was probably the person that had brought them to whatever place this is. The person's previous words and their tone when they said it seemed to say that they were waiting for them to greet one another.

"I go by many names. The Overseer, The World Gazer, -̷̟̂-̸̢̿-̶̰͝-̴̥́-̶̻͌-̴̤͛-̵̬͐-̵̳͐-̶̳̕-̷͎̉ ." They all rose their eyebrows in confusion to the last part as it sounded like he spoke in gibberish. The reason for this was because the being spoke in a language that couldn't be comprehended by them. "But you can simply call me Aegis for simplicity's sake. A pleasure to meet you all, officially that is."

They all looked one another when they heard his introduction, what was with those title?

"…It's safe to assume that you were the one that brought us here then, right?" Lance spoke as Aegis turned his attention towards the dragon-master. Aegis simply nodded his head in response. "I see, then why have you brought us here? I highly doubt that we were brought here simply to say hello."

"Of course not." Aegis chuckled as he crossed his arms. "The reason all of you, champions from different regions, have been brought here was for one single reason… Strength."

"Strength? You require our assistance?" Diantha questioned.

"No, no. Quite the opposite actually. I meant that I would help provide you strength. And before you say anything, you're all thinking why?" Aegis voiced as he slowly floated down and landed gently at the front where the massive screen was located. "I'll put it bluntly, you champions, aside from Iris and Ash, are stagnating. You've reached your peak and require inspiration to become stronger than you are now."

All the champions, not including Iris and Ash, all looked at each other and they all knew that what the being said was true. They were literally at the top of their career, they were champions after all! Being champion meant being at the top of the place they resided. They would be lying if they said that they hadn't lost their motivation to become stronger…

"Even so, just what would you do for us?" Leon asked curiously, and cautiously. "Some kind of special training?"

"I suppose you could view my intentions as special training. Though, it's more for you to learn just how big the world really is. A great motivator for you to become stronger." Aegis smirked as he snapped his fingers. Suddenly, the screen turned on behind him. "Observe. Allow me to introduce you to the Aevium region, one of many that are considered a Champion's Battleground."

They all watched with curious eyes as the screen displayed a massive collection of different large islands making up what the Aevium region was. It looked to be pretty similar to the Alola region with the islands, although far greater in size if what they were seeing was anything to go by. They had never heard of the Aevium region before…

However, a few words really caught their attention.

"Champion's Battleground?" Alder repeated as he looked at Aegis.

"Indeed. These regions are referred to as such due to the power that the trainers within them hold." Aegis smiled as he explained. The screen soon showed several silhouettes. "The trainers within these regions are far above your typical run-of-the-mill Pokemon Trainer. By your standards, some of the trainers there that would be considered experienced would be considered champion level to you, if not more so. Some reaching far beyond anything you could even believe."

"Incredible…"

"For real…?"

All of them, after having heard Aegis's explanation, could help but stare at the screen as the silhouettes slowly disappeared. If what Aegis was saying was true, then how hadn't they heard of these places before? Were these regions isolated from their regions? Had they ever made any form of interaction with them in the past?

"Wait… where are these regions? I've never heard of them before!" Ash called out, he was both curious and excited as he stared at the screen. He had recently just heard about Galar, and now there was this Aevium region and others too? How couldn't he be excited?! Also, the information about powerful trainers there was getting him pumped!

Just like Ash, Leon also had an excited gleam in his eyes. In fact, pretty much everyone was curious about it all.

"There is a very simple explanation as to why you have never heard of it before. These regions don't exist within your dimension." Aegis stated casually as the group all widened their eyes. "The Aevium region exists within an entirely different dimension separate from your own. It would be questionable if anyone from yours had knowledge of Aevium."

"How are we seeing this then…?" Iris was confused as she asked this. "If this Aevium place is really not from our dimension, then how are we going to see anything about it?"

"As I stated before, I have many names. The Overseer, and the World Gazer." Aegis spoke as he snapped his fingers again, the screen now showing what looked to be countless spheres with lines connecting them. "The place you now stand is my own personal dimension that exists within the Primordial Void. As one of the Overseers, it is my duty to watch over the countless worlds."

"…What are you?" Cynthia couldn't help but ask as she narrowed her eyes at the male. Aegis just gave her a small smile in response before chuckling slightly. Cynthia would have to say that this individual may be among the ranks of beings like Dialga, Palkia and such. "Are you even a human? Or are you similar to the likes of Dialga and Palkia?"

"Am I human? Hmm… that's debatable." Aegis shrugged. "As for the second part. We Overseers are one of the highest entities that exists within the Multiverse. The likes of beings like Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and even Arceus do not compare to us. I guess you could call me an Outer God, or something like that."

They could only stare at Aegis with gobsmacked expressions as they processed what he said, disbelief present on their faces as well. They knew that the person was anything but normal, but they certainly weren't expecting THAT! Just what had they all gotten themselves involved in…?

"S-So, Mr Aegis…"

"Just Aegis is fine."

"Aegis… Since you showed us that Aevium region, is that what we will be observing?" The on that asked this question as Lance. He was definitely very nervous right now. Why would he be? Every single one of them were shaken at the announcement that this male was some kind of powerful deity.

"More like the journey of a certain individual across the Aevium region." Aegis smiled as he responded to the question. "The journey he faces ahead is full of obstacles, a journey full of joy and also tragedy. I will warn you, his story is not for the faint of heart. However, I believe by showing you his incredible journey, you will gain the motivation to become even stronger. Whether or not you accept, is up to you."
