Issei awoke in a cold sweat only an hour after falling asleep. To Issei that hour felt like an eternity plagued by a hellish nightmare, after waking up Issei decided to write down the things that he saw and heard in the nightmare, with the hopes that Azazel would have an idea about its contents. After Issei finished writing everything, there was still around 30 minutes before Koneko was supposed to show up, Issei was lost with his thoughts while he waited the remaining time. The Only issue was that he began to think out loud
"Damn that was a lot to write, well for me at least. Now i'll just ask Azazel about all of this stuff next time I see him." Issei put the journal and utensils away into the private bag that he brought to keep things hidden from the others in case there were to 'check' what he had packed. "Hell the whole thing just doesn't sit right with me, it had all felt so real and oddly familiar. To imagine the amount of slaughter in those visions, i should at the least feel unsettled by the sites but no I feel nostalgic from them. I'm certain it was a war between the supernatural beings but what were they fighting against that led to such a massacre...god why and i'm dewealing on it, it's just a stupid dream right." Huff.
Knock Knock
'That must be Koneko' Issei moved from the desk chair towards the door but stopped after catching a glance of himself in the mirror. 'What the hell!?' In the mirror Issei's reflection was different from Issei's. His eyes were red, his hair was darker almost black, his posture was confident yet uncaring at the same time and he had this cold stare in his eyes. Issei stood in confusion at the image in front of him until another series of knocks broke him from his trance. "Oh coming" As Issei turned away he glanced back at the mirror only to find it was just him, no changes this time. With his still confused look he walked over and opened the door to reveal a very worn out Koneko
"Jeez took you long enough to get to the door" Koneko mockingly spat out despite her rather tired appearance.
"Ha yeah sorry about that I got a Little caught up with something before I got to the door. Anyways there is something I need to talk to you about" Issei walked over and sat one the bed patting the spot next to him telling Koneko to sit down. Shortly after Koneko sat down Issei began to speak. "I noticed during supper that you were kind of sad and wanted to know what that was about, I also noticed that the aura around you is different than the others"
"Please Issei I kno..." Before Koneko could finish speaking Issei had cut her off with his own comment.
Once she started to speak Issei immediately knew he had the right answer to his question "Koneko please save your breath the I know that you are a Nekomata. Now before you start to think that it is going to bother me or drive me away by knowing the history of Nekomata I have to say" Issei paused and changed his tone from the calm caring tone he had to a deeper more seductive tone having a confidence that is rarely displayed by Issei
"I think you being is Nekomata is something special and you do not have to hide it, I understand there is a personal reason for hiding it but if you are willing I would like to help with that. Also the Idea of having my own little cat girl is a very pleasing thought" Issei stated with something close to a purr in his last statement.
Despite the utter shock in Koneko's face the tears began to well up in her eyes.
"Issei '' was the only word she got out of her mouth before Issei had had wrapped her into a tight hug ensuring her that he meant everything besides the warm gesture what could not be seen was the growing smirk on Issei's face.
'Three, Two, One' Just as Issei finished counting down the Koneko stiffened up with a very noticeable blush on her face as the words of Issei's last statement processed in her mind.
'Wait, wait what did he just say his little... cat girl Koneko's thoughts were cut short by Issei's snickering. "Hey it's not that funny" Koneko stated as she began to weakly punch Issei.
"Sorry, sorry it was just your reaction was priceless" After things had settled down Issei spoke again "Yes I meant EVERYTHING it said Koneko' ' putting the emphasis on everything.
"Issei I'm going to need more time to think this over Rias is the only one who really knows about my past and it's pretty hard to talk about. Just give me a few days at least to prepare myself and I promise I will tell you everything" Koneko got up and started walking back to the door "Thank you Issei I should get back to my room" No more than the second Koneko finished her sentence she was lifted up off the ground.
"Yeah no you are sleeping here with me tonight you are clearly tired and I want to hold you so you are not leaving" Issei said in a meaningful and authoritative tone as he carried her bridal style over to the bed.
'He seems so different since he heard everything, something obviously changed in him but I couldn't have imagined it would be this much' while she was lost in her own thought she had failed to notice that she was now laying on top of Issei who was lightly patting her head. without saying anything she just nodded and laid into his chest and fell asleep.
-Two hours later-
Issei was sure he had fallen asleep with Koneko so he was confused as to why he was laying on a beach made of black sand. What was more unusual was the black almost ink like water at the shores edge despite the unusual sight it felt so familiar to Issei. Turning around, Issei was met with a sight of seemingly endless bones he could tell were all clearly constructed in a manner to resemble trees and a landscape. Issei began walking on what he knew was a path but he couldn't help but feel pride swell up inside him as he admired the bone structures.
"Man this all seems familiar, almost like I constructed this" Issei again failed to notice that he was talking out loud yet again although the difference this time was someone heard.
"Well in a way you kind of did"
Issei immediately turned towards the origin of the booming voice, through the time he had spent with Ddraig he could clearly tell it was a dragon but this was a voice of pure power. As he turned around he saw the largest dragon he had ever seen his scales were as black as night itself and the plates were pure bone covered in deep gashes and scratches from the countless battles they faced.
"So who are you and where exactly am I? Also why the hell does this place feel so familiar?"
"Well to answer your first question I am Qualenax the dragon of dragons, as for your second question you are in my domain well solitary prison actually. Now for your last question to put it in terms that you would better understand you are my host and with that you get my memories and feelings''
"Oh okay so those visions that I saw earlier were your memories and not a dream. How come I haven't met you until now?" Issei was surprised but spoke with ease as he was comfortable to be in the presence of Qualenax and amongst the bones of what he could only assume were his previous victims.
"To put it simply that was my fault at the moment I sent out the spell for a host I was in a state of extreme hatred and sorrow which fed into the spell's creation. Meaning you had to undergo a series of similar emotions in order for us to meet. The other reason was because of the dragon you are currently hosting what was his name...Ddraig your bond at one time was extremely strong but as of recently it is pretty weak but still stable."
"Yeah we haven't exactly been on the same page lately. So I believe that you are also the reason for the changes that I have been experiencing, as well as the marking that I had when i was a child. " 'This is interesting to say the least thankfully I'm actually getting answers.' Issei stretched a bit and took a seat on a rather large skull that he could only assume used to belong to a wolf.
"Haha yes perscily, I am guilty of all of that. I can see that my confidence and pride have grown on you pretty well. Now you do not have much time to speak as you will need to wake up soon just know I have been with you since you were born so these powers are natural to you, the abilities of your parents are still locked we will talk about that next time we meet. If you need my no our power , trust me, you'll know what to do. This is farewell for now Issei"
"Farewell Qualenax" Issei's body began to fade away as he could feel the presence of Ddraig once more.
-Scene Change-
Issei woke up feeling rather vigorous from the amazing rest he just had. From the lack of pressure on his chest Issei concluded that Koneko had already left for her room earlier in the morning. Walking over to the bathroom that was attached to his room Issei stripped what little close he had preparing to step in the shower but stopped right in front of the mirror noticing the marking he had as a child was now back. Issei smiled and walked into the shower cleaning up and making his way to his bag to put on clothes which he had clearly forgotten. "Ah the felt great I might actually get through today" Issei cut himself short after hearing a loud "Eep" from the side of his room.
"I'm sorry sir I was told to come wake you for breakfast but it seems you were already up and I caught you at a bad time my apologies" The younger maid stated as she bowed blushing at the sight she was met with.
"Oh no it is my duty to apologize I was the one who forgot my clothes, you were just doing your job. Thank you tho and please raise your head it's safe to know '' Just as Issei had said the maid raised up and walked out of Issei's room clearly avoiding eye contact with Issei.
'Well that was some excitement for the morning I'll go ahead and get dressed then head to the dinning hall' Issei finished getting dressed deciding to wear mostly black tight fitting clothes that he didn't know he had packed. After a few minutes of walking Issei was at the doorway of the Dinning hall, he had noticed a few of the maids that he passed gave him a few knowing glances some even blushing as he passed them. Pushing open the door he was met with the same pleasant aroma of food he had smelled from outside his room. making his way to the table Issei decided to take a seat next to Koneko which would have been occupied by Gasper but he was still sleeping.
"Ah good morning Issei did you sleep okay" Rias asked, clearly acting in front of her parents who were sitting at both ends of the table.
"Yes I slept fine Rias'' Issei turned towards the nearest maid and politely asked for a rather large portion of meat and a few small things of sweets. Most were shocked by the tone of Issei's voice as it was noticeably deeper than usual and as well as his choice of order, it being for breakfast only adding to that fact.
"Here you are sir please enjoy" The maid from last night said as she set the large plate in front of Issei.
"Thank you very much, there is no doubt that I will definitely enjoy it if you are the one who cooked it" Issei openingly flirted with the maid leaving her a blushing mess while trying to keep up her professional personality. Issei could feel Koneko's eyeing stare until he passed the sweets to her plate knowing that they were her favorite.
"ISSEI" Rias yelled clearly upset and ashamed at Issei's action
"Yes Rias if you are upset at my reply it was just a compliment and besides it offended neither her nor your parents" Issei responded confidently causing Rias to look up and see her father eating and her mother smiling towards the maid Issei had just complimented.
With a Huff Rias sat back down and finished eating. "Alright now that we are all done eating I believe it is time to start training. Soon everyone was up and outside waiting for Rais to finish talking with everyone. After a few minutes she returned "Kiba and Koneko please step into this circle, Akeno, Asia, and Gasper this one over here. Now Issei you'll have to follow Tanin to the place you are training, is that alright?"
"Yes that is fine Rias it also gives me an excuse to look at the scenery" Issei just began walking away after gently rubbing Koneko's head leaving a light blush on her face much to the other girl's displeasure.
-Scene change-
"Argh what the hell"
From the start of his training Issei was having trouble with his boosted gear. The major issue was that he was not able to dodge some of the larger fireballs that Tanin threw at him, causing some pretty bad burns.
"Alright Issei I think you've had about enough for today, try to dodge this last one but be careful it will be a big one"
Just as Tanin had said it was a very large one but by some miracle Issei actually managed to dodge it but the problem was that it had hit an equally large blast from one of the others. Issei concluded it was probably one of the Gremory's given its crimson color. Instead of exploding both of them, the crimson ball of destruction was vered off its original path and was now going towards the Garden.
"OH SHIT!"
Issei screamed and by some instinct grew a pair of boney black wings, clearly those of a dragon. He flew up at an extremely fast pace in front of the blast pulling his wings back he pushed a massive amount of air towards the blast causing it to vere up enough to pass over the garden into the mountain nearby. The only problem now was the air blew Issei back into the ground of the garden. Issei got up from the large crater he caused when landing despite being very sore. Issei put his wings away and started to walk back towards his room to get cleaned up.
"Mister, Mister are you okay?"
Came a small, clearly worried voice from the garden. Before Issei was able to say anything Lily gave him a small hug making sure not to hug him too hard in fear of hurting him.
"I'm alright Lily thank you, I just need to get back to my room."
"Okay Mister your wings are really cool by the way"
No body but the few people in the garden saw the wings Issei displayed which saved him all the questions he was sure would come from the others if they found out. Issei had made it to his room and got cleaned up shortly after he went into the Dinning hall. There were questions about training and such supper was pretty uneventful really. After supper Issei went to his room and a few moments later Koneko came in, there was some idle conversation then they went to sleep.
-4 days later-
Training went the same as most days; Issei was getting better with each day, but with each passing day something seemed to be different about Issei but now on the final day of training Issei was back in the same spot dodging the fireballs as if they were being thrown by a child. With no help from Ddraig of course throughout the week Issei has only heard from Ddraig on the first day and a few times yesterday main just idle comments on his movements.
"Alright come on Tanin you look like you might be needing a break" Issei said in the same deep tone he has had since the talk with Qualanex.
"Now what do you take me for Issei I'm a dragon I was just waiting until I could finally do this'' Tanin then swung his massive tail towards Issei who surprisingly jumped right over the top of it.
With each attack Issei moved, ducked, or jumped out of the way, in some cases he had his hands in his pockets in an almost mocking way but as he concluded was his new found dragon pride talking. Things continued like this for several hours until they were both pretty tired, after making their way back Tanin was pretty wore out so he went to rest while Issei decided that it would be a good idea to shower and get a change of clothes seeing how the others still had roughly an hour until they were done. Before stepping into the shower Issei noticed that the marking had a faint crimson glow to it. Taking a mental note to ask Qualanex about it, next he sees him. Then Issei stepped into the shower.
-2 hours later-
Issei had finished his shower and decided to lay down before going to supper which to him was a great idea considering it felt great to lay down for a little while. Once he was getting ready to leave his room he noticed that his eyesight was strange he was able to notice even the smallest details in the wall from across the room he decided that it was probably just some new ability he obtained again so it was not a surprise. Issei walked out of his room and made his way to the dinning hall where he took his new seat next to Koneko. Before everyone started eating Sirzechs walked in with grayfia
"Ah so that is why the dining hall was so loud before I got here" Issei said aloud, getting the attention of everyone in the room. "What? I could hear everything from the moment I stepped out of my room" As Issei said this the entire room was dumbfounded or thought it was a joke laughing as they spoke their deniel.
"Why Issei that can't be right our rooms are all the way in the East wing" Akeno said after recovering from her little laughing fit followed by Rias
"Issei I understand that you have the boosted gear but hearing everything that went on in here would be impossible considering the walls have all been reinforced."
"Well alright then again the only real proof I have of my statement is that Akeno walked in and asked for her potatoes to be buttered twice"
Everyone was shocked even more so was Koneko who had the best hearing in the room and she didn't hear that while being in the same room.
"Anyways I'll have Three steaks, two things of ribs and a rack of lamb. Sirzechs how have you been it's been awhile"
To Sirzechs surprise Issei was the first one to address him not only that but he also did it so casually addressing him more as a freinds and ally instead of the lord of hell. in all honesty it felt good to Sirzechs not being addressed as so formally for a change. "Now Rias sit please do not scold Issei for addressing me so casually it was a nice change from work and all. I've been pretty good Issei thank you for asking how have you been Azazel has informed me of your current events."
"Ah that figures I should have guessed the Birdbrain would have turned to you first" The room was still trying to cover from the initial scare of Issei addressing Sirechs but now to insult Azazel like that was just terrifying.
"Haha, Now now he was just doing what he thought would be the best course of action and you can't blame him"
Throughout the night Issei spoke Idly with Sirechs which had most of the room on edge that Issei was talking to the most powerful devil like they had know each other for ages. Halfway through eating Issei's new personality was made apparent to Koneko when Issei slid his hand over her thigh under the table. His bold actions surprisingly went unnoticed to everyone but Sirsechs and Grayfia who had a kinda sad look on her face. once everyone finished eating it was time for bed. On the way to the door Issei was stopped by Sirzechs who offered him to drink with him, Zeoticus and Azazel. Everyone in the room stopped to look at the two.
"Brother what are you suggesting Issei doesn't drink plus aren't you busy?" Before Rias could continue talking Issei spoke up.
"Why that sounds delightful"
"Wonderful follow me"
As Sirzechs and Issei began to walk away Issei stopped and pulled one of the maids aside "Could you inform Koneko to wait for me in my quarters while I am gone?"
"Yes of course sir"
"Thank you miss uhh"
"Rin"
"Ah Thank you miss Rin" Issei then began to follow Sirechs to what looked to be a massive study setup with massive velvet chairs, and very fine decorative desk and tall bookshelves that seemed to be the walls of the room. In the middle of the room sat Azazel who was pouring a class.
"Oh it seems that we are having another guest, now what the hell Issei last time I previously asked you to drink with me you ended up wanting water that's not the case here too is it?'' Azazel started with a questionable look as Sirzechs and his father were having a laugh.
"No not this time I think i'll take a whiskey on the rocks but there's a problem I'm still technically underage"
"Oh if that's the issue then, here" Zeoticus lifted his hand and uttered a single word causing a glowing red circle to envelope Issei. "Now I do admire your morals to your world, this spell will only last 2 hours but from this point until then you are 20"
After only a few seconds the glowing red light faded leaving a shocking sight in front of the three. Issei stood at 6'8 and was absolutely jacked. Through the confused look, Issei decided to break the three of them from their shock.
"Thank you dad now come on lets enjoy" 'Holy shit I'm a fucking beast this is great I wonder if I will actually develope like this?'
Everyone sat down and Azazel poured everyone their desired drink and the drinking started although rather silently. After a couple of glasses Azazel broke the silence by asking Issei if he has had any new odd changes to himself lately.
"Actually yes I have I noticed it earlier today if i focus on something I can pick out even the smallest details, Like this" Issei looked towards Sirzechs and focused on the insignia on his shoulder "I can also apparently see heat signatures?"
"Oh wow Issei you can even bring out your dragonic eyes but why are they red and not green?"
"Oh wait, they are I didn't know and honestly I have no idea, I would ask Ddraig but he won't answer me at all"
Things went on quite calmly mainly consisting of Idle chatter and the occasional Zeoticus telling an embarrassing story about Sirzechs and a few about Azazel from when they were younger. Once everything was done and over, Issei felt like he had gotten a closer relationship with the three of them. The spell was still active when Issei was walking back to his room and to his surprise he didn't even feel a buzz. Once Issei got to the hallway leading to his room he noticed Rias leaning against her door it was clear she was waiting for Issei to return but she wasn't expecting and Older Issei.
"So Issei what did...you" Rias was lost for words at the sight of Issei clad in only a pair of pants and what little remains of his shirt that draped over his shoulders.
"If you plan on asking what was discussed please understand that it is our business not yours. As for my attire I would appreciate it if you would stop ogling me. Lastly I am feeling rather tired so I am going to my room. Good night Rias"
Issei spoke in a rather flat cold voice as he walked to his room, leaving Rias slightly dumbfounded by Issei's actions. She followed Issei ready to demand answers but when she got to Issei's room she found that the door was locked but she could hear voices inside.
-Inside Issei's room-
"Issei you look umm different" Koneko said in a rather quiet voice avoiding eye contact while clearly blushing.
"Awww what's wrong Koneko you can't look at me, am I that ugly ooh my heart" Issei pulled an overdramatic knife through the heart action.
"Hey Dumbass is this better?" Koneko stopped to stare at Issei.
"Yes it is but not quite. We have an Unwelcome guest. Rias, I'm only asking nicely can you please step away from the door and go back to your room. I'm sure Sirzechs and Father would find it rather improper for a lady such as yourself to be eavesdropping on matters that do not include you."
-With Rias-
'Wait how the hell did he know that I am here and why the fuck is Koneko in his room? No as the King of the perage it is my job to make sure that there is nothing going on that would affect their combat ability besides Issei is mine, Wait no.'
"Issei open this door right now as your king I command it."
The door opened to reveal a rather pissed looking Issei with his red dragonic eyes staring down at Rias showing that it is clear that he has had enough.
"Rias Gremory this is the last time that I will ask you nicely please keep your nose out of my business and go back to your room"
His tone was cold and serious which sent shivers up Koneko's spine but it was a clear sign of a threat to Rias. To Issei's surprise she got the memo and walked away rather quickly, closing and locking the door, Issei turned his attention back to Koneko. Who had unknowingly let out her ears and Tails.
"Well aren't those cute" Issei stated catching Koneko off guard and confused until he reached up and took ahold of one of her ears gently rubbing it between two of his fingers causing her to Eep. "My my what a cute reaction"
"Asshole" Was the only thing that Koneko said until she started to purr slightly.
"Alright now I'm really tired so let's get to sleep '' Koneko nodded and got up for Issei to lay down. "First tho I feel like trying something" Just as Issei said this he released his wings, the very same wings that he used the first day of training to prevent a disaster. "There we go" Issei then proceeded to lay down on his back waiting for Koneko to get on his chest.
"Now before you freak out I thought since you are showing your true features I might as well do the same thing, now come on get over here"
Koneko could only nod at Issei as she climbed on his chest she realized just how big he was due to the spell she heard about when Issei was talking to Rias in the hallway. Once she got comfortable Issei leaned down and kissed her forehead leaving her with a light blush on her cheeks. Once Issei had got situated he pulled the cover over him and Koneko but then from under the cover he wrapped the two of them up in his wings as he laid back and fell asleep.
-Next Day-
Upon waking up Issei noticed that he went back to his normal size so thankfully the spell wore off sometime in the night. He could tell that Koneko was still on his chest and was still very much asleep. Deciding not to move, he kept his wings out and around Koneko. Lying back, he tried to go back and speak to Qualanex if it was even possible again. Once he was in his head he noticed that Ddraigs presence was nowhere to be found. Searching deeper he finally found where he needed to be; he just knew it, it was a black and crimson door with a massive amount of pressure behind it. Opening the door Issei found himself on a massive seat made of bones clearly constructed by Qualanex.
"Ah Issei it's nice to see you again"
The massive dragon spoke looking at Issei who was still a little confused by the dragon's personality unlike Ddraig Qualanex has treated Issei as a friend since the moment they actually met.
"Yo long time no see. If you mind, I have a couple of questions to ask if you are okay with that?"
"Oh yes absolutely" 'It's probably about the way I act, while I find it odd myself I believe it's because it's been ages since I spoke to another of dragon kin.'
"Sweet, so how come you treat me so friendly? The first time I spoke with Ddraig he was not so pleasant to talk to. The other question is where is Ddraig?"
"The answer to the first question is simply it has been ages since I spoke to another of my own Kin and descendent no less Haha. Now to answer the question you are asking yourself, all I can say is put on the ring and you will understand part of your origin. As for Ddraig your connection was almost non existent so I took it upon myself and severed the ties, as for his new host I do not know who it is. It is almost time for you to go yet again but before that here if you would like to truly be my host place this scale over the marking you bare then utter the chant. Goodbye Issei we will talk sooner than you think and good luck.
Issei was unable to respond as he was shot awake by the feeling of something wrapping around his neck stiffening up; he was then made aware it was just Koneko trying to wake him up.
"Hey it's time to get up" Koneko spoke in a pretty caring tone as she was in the process of putting away her Nekomata features.
"Alright, Alright I'm getting up" Issei stood up with Koneko still around his neck. "Hey Koneko would you mind letting go now?"
"No"
"Well alright if you insist on acting like that" Issei knelt down so Koneko's feet were touching the ground he then leaned her into an unexpected kiss causing her to let go out of reflex. "Hehe I knew that would work" Issei stood up after having a little laugh over Koneko's embarrassed expression.
"You prev"
"Nope just using completely fair tactics to escape your grasp" Issei walked over to the nightstand and picked up the ring actually giving it a good look over. "So this is supposed to answer some of the questions I have about what's been going on as well as my origins." Issei noticed that there was a name inscribed on the inside of the ring that read Gorou Hyoudou. 'What the hell does this ring belong to dad!'
"Issei what are you talking about?" Koneko asked, obviously confused by Issei's sudden actions.
"Oh well yeah about that I will tell you everything once I have more information I promise"
Issei then slid the ring on his index finger; he was then met with a series of images depicting his father with some very impressive dragonic features; he also seemed to be fighting a group of devils. Well fighting isn't exactly the correct word, his father was decimating them. Then the Imagines switched to his father in front of a shrine Issei concluded, from what he could see, the Shrine also depicted the very same marking Issei had on his chest. Soon after his father knelt down in front of the shrine a bright flash of crimson was seen and his fathers dragonic features disappeared. What was left on the shrine was the very same ring Issei had on right now.
"Wait my dad is a Fucking dragon" Issei blurted out lound as he fell back on the ground only to notice he never hit the ground. Upon opening his eyes he was met face to face with Koneko who had a shocked expression on her face. "Hey Koneko what's wrong?"
"Issei what the hell, go look in the mirror."
Issei walked over to the mirror just as Koneko had told him to. Upon looking in the mirror he noticed that he had the features of a dragon but in human form. His wings which he already knew about, his legs from the thigh down was all dragon, he had a long tail with some noticeable spikes running from its end all the way up his spine, from his forearm down to his hand was covered in scales and son very intimidating looking claws at the end of his fingers. Next was his head his hair color was now a really dark brown almost black, he had two large curled horns protruding from his head, his eyes were crimson red with dragon slit pupils, there were markings running from under his eyes down to his neck, and he had some large fangs poking out of his mouth. Then his size was taken into account he had grown a noticeable 2 feet and now stands at roughly 7'7. On top of all that his muscle mass has also significantly increased.
"Holy shit Koneko I..."
Before Issei could finish his sentence a knock was heard from the door. Issei closed the door to the bathroom and Koneko went and opened the door to reveal a maid.
"Lady Rias has asked me to gather all of you at the arena"
"Okay we'll head that way now" Koneko closed the door and walked over to the bathroom to check on Issei "Hey did you hear her we need to go to the arena apparently."
Issei opened the door wearing only a pair of pants and nodded. He had taken off the ring and now looks like normal Issei well minus the large glowing claw mark on his chest.
"Come on Koneko I'll explain more once we get back, but I have a bad feeling about this."
They left the room and walked towards the arena, the walk was pretty silent and neither really wanted to say anything. Once they finally got to the arena they were escorted inside where they were met with the sight of the rest of the peerage stretching as what seemed to be the entire mansion staff and residents watching including Tanin who was looking over the top of the arena. Rias walked to the center as she started to speak.
"Welcome today me and my preeage are going to have a mock battle made up of five teams of two. This not only met to test our new found strengths but also demonstrate the result of all of our hard work over the last few days. Now everyone, would you please step into the assigned circles."
"Shit I knew something was wrong. Are you ready for this Koneko? I have a feeling we'll be the main target."
The two of them walked over to the circle and prepared their stuff for the battle although Koneko found it weird Issei didn't have the boosted gear out. The teams consisted of Issei and Koneko, Kiba and Gasper, Akeno and Xenovia, and Finally for the last team was Rias and Asia. After a few seconds Sirzechs gave the okay to go and everyone started to rush out but everyone stopped when "Balance Breaker" Was heard booming from the opposite side of the arena away from Issei. There stood Rias in the Boosted gear Balance Breaker with an already charged blast aiming right for Koneko.
"What the hell Isn't Issei supposed to have the Boosted Gear? Rias, stop this Instant!" Shouted Sirzechs but it was too late as the blast was already sent towards Koneko.
Blast hit dead on but in the smoke as loud Roar was heard, one the smoke had cleared the sight of Issei in his dragon form was revealed as he held Koneko to protect her from the blast. Before anyone could question what was going on a massive amount of bloodlust was released putting everyone but Rias and those stronger than her to their knees.
"Azazel what the hell is going on?" Sirzechs yelled to Azazel who was now currently laughing.
"It seems that Rias' used a bit too much force in that blast towards Koneko, which would have left her severely wounded as a result it awoke the dragon inside Issei literally. Man Gorou he really is your son"
"Wait what is so important about his father?"
"Do you remember about 25 years ago when the Beelzebub family angered that dragon in the mountain behind their city? That dragon is Issei's father."
"Oh it seems Rias has made a huge mistake. I just hope that Issei doesn't turn on our family because of it, but still what is the reason for this bloodlust?"
In the arena Issei stood up from his hold on Koneko and started to walk towards Rias. Kiba attempted to attack Issei but was soon dealt with rather quickly.
"So Rias was this your original plan you find out that the boosted gear had moved on and you just happen to be the host so then you thought since you found out I was allowing Koneko in my room but not you bitches, you thought to go after her out of what jealousy?"
Issei got up close to Rias who was now out of Balance Breaker, towering over Rias, Issei leaned down and spoke.
"Listen very closely I'm not going to fight you right now but stay away from me and Koneko. Thank your family for the kindness I'm showing you right now, oh and here you go you are going to want these back" Issei held out his hand and dropped not only his but also Koneko's evil pieces in front of Rias. "Oh and Rias I hope that whoever you have your eye's on doesn't see what a two faced bitch you really are.'' Issei stood up and turned towards the stand where SirZechs and Azazel were sitting. "I feel it is necessary for me and Koneko to take our leave now, I truly thank you for your hospitality and if I am allowed to return please tell Lily that I will see her soon. Azazel could you help with transportation?"
"Hehe yes I can Issei but only if you calm that bloodlust down, some are not as immune to it" Azazel states as he points towards the rest of the staff and family who are trying their best to stay up from the ground.
"Ah yes no problem I'm sorry everyone that was not my intention. Come one Koneko I think it would be best to leave for now."
Just as Issei said he and Koneko left the mansion threw and transportation circle provided by Azazel leaving whatever aftermath in hell behind them. once they got the house back in the human realm Issei went and packed everything he needed as did Koneko. Neither of Issei's parents were home so he decided to write them a note and leave it in their bedroom for when they got back they then left the house with Issei saying that he knew a place where they could say.

Alright that is it for this chapter I would like to really apologize for the wait on this one I haven't really been doing too well lately and there wasn't really the motivation to write. I would like to thank you all who waited and said that you liked the previous few chapters. I am happy to say that by the time that I get this one posted I can assure that I am working on the next chapter I have found a nice little burst of motivation. I didn't really like how I ended this chapter but I hope it works well. Next chapter will include the aftermath of Rias' actions, Issei's new found power and the return to school.
