Violet's morning started as normal, she woke up in Diluc's bed, stretching out as she looked around for Diluc, but spotted her normal red rose and a small note. She smiled as she picked up and read the sweet letter he had written for her as he always did. She slowly slipped from the large bed, her night gown reached her knees as she placed the letter in her nightstand drawer. She smiled more at the silver band that flashed in the morning sunlight. Knowing its pair was being worn by a certain red haired man. Violet hummed as she went to the bathroom to get ready for that day. As she was drying her hair, a knock sounded at the door. She walked over quickly and opened it to see her very frazzled sister. "Violet!" Viox whimpered out, as Violet pulled her sister inside, "What happened?" Violet asked her sister, who broke down in tears, "I think Kaeya is going to leave me!" she whimpered out over her tears as Violet blinked, "We are talking about the same Kaeya right? The same man that adores you? Literally will throw his life away to make you happy?" she asked as her twin nodded, "The very same!" she cried out as she flopped onto Violet's and Diluc's bed face down. Violet sighed, "Alright Viox walk me through it." she said sitting down beside her twin, "I saw Kaeya flirting with another woman!" Viox's voice was muffled, as Violet rose a brow, "As in flirting like he does with you?" she asked as Viox nodded. "He's gonna leave me cause he found some new toy to play with! Viox sniffled out as she sat up. Violet sighed, "Alright calm down! We don't know if that will happen at all. How about this, I'll follow him around town today, since you already work here at the Winery, you stay here and get your work done for that day." Violet said as Viox nodded, "Alright...but I have to go home tonight because Kaeya said it's really important I do." she said as Violet nodded, "Don't worry, I'll make sure that I'm at the back door in case it goes south, you still don't have your vision back yet, so your powers aren't going to be as strong." she said as Viox wiped her face, "I'll see you soon okay sister?" Viox hiccuped out as Violet smirked, "I'll be back with a report before you know it!" she declared.
Violet was unbelievably bored as she tagged Kaeya around, he was doing simple things, ordering flowers from Flora, 20 gaze lilies. Violet rolled her eyes and glared, "Gaze lilies to soften the blow huh?" she hissed out under her breath as Kaeya moved onto the smithy. Violet followed as she listened into the conversation, "Is it finished?" Kaeya asked the smithy, who grunted, "We had to fix the wings but other than that its done, along with the new necklace." they replied as Kaeya then received a medium sized box, Violet watched as Kaeya slipped into his side bag and paid the smithy before walking off to the next area. Violet glared, "A new necklace for his new sweetheart." She hissed as she followed the man across town towards another seller.
Kaeya stopped at a small jewelry shop, as he was welcomed inside. Violet sat under one of their open windows, as she listened into the conversation. "Sir Kaeya! I wasn't expecting you to be back so soon! Did you finally want to pick that item you requested a few months ago?" the sweet voice jeweler asked as Kaeya chuckled, "Yes, is it ready? I plan on using it tonight." he said as the Jeweler squealed, "I can't wait! It's gorgeous! I can see her wearing it now, it'll flash all over Mondstadt." Kaeya laughed again, "She has to agree first, I really can't believe it's been almost a year…" he said gently as the Jeweler swooned, "She'll adore it, you and her have been a perfect match since you met!" they said as Kaeya sighed a little, "This is a bit different though, what if she doesn't agree?" he asked as the Jeweler grunted, "Like she would!" they said as there were some movements before Kaeya said his goodbyes and headed out towards The Little Hunter.
Violet scrambled upwards and followed as she hid behind the wall. "Afternoon Sara." Kaeya said as he walked up to the counter, "Sir Kaeya, did you need some food?" Sara asked as Kaeya rubbed the back of his head, "I was actually going to ask for that Veggie Soup recipe that you make. I have something special happening tonight and I want to cook for it." he explained as Sara nodded, "That makes sense, be careful not to burn it." she said, handing Kaeya a piece of paper. "Oh can you also make some of the Mondstadt Hashbrowns and some Honey sticky roast? In case I do end up burning the soup, I want to make sure that we still have food to eat." Kaeya asked as he handed Sara the Mora. Sara grinned, "Give me a few!" she said as Kaeya nodded, walking over to the tables and chairs. Violet growled lightly. She watched as Kaeya called over Diluc, who looked like he was coming to get some lunch from the Little Hunter. "Diluc! Come sit!" Kaeya called as the red haired man walked over, "Kaeya, what are you doing out here today?" Diluc asked as he took a seat across from the other man. Kaeya grinned, "I'm getting things for tonight's surprise." he said as Diluc blinked, "So you're actually going through with it?" he asked as Violet fumed from her hiding spot, Diluc was in on Kaeya's plans to leave Viox?! That jerk! She glared more as Kaeya pulled out the two boxes and set them on the table, "Both were finished today." he said as he opened the medium box first. Diluc touched the object inside, "It looks better in this form, did you add your own detailing to the necklace?" he asked as Kaeya nodded, "I had them add in the blue gems to match my earring, what do you think?" he asked, as Diluc pulled his hand away, "I think she'll be thrilled by it. What about this small box?" he pointed to the very small box that sat on the table as well. Kaeya carefully opened it and handed it to Diluc. "I had it custom made for her, i know how she is when it comes to this stuff so i figured the smaller the better." he said as Diluc looked at it, "And she has no clue about this evening?" he asked as he closed the box and handed it back over. Kaeya shook his head, "Not one, although I figured she would have said something by now, how is she doing?" he asked as Diluc shrugged, "I haven't seen her since we greeted each other this morning." he said as Kaeya hummed, "I hope she's alright, she seemed a little off earlier this morning, maybe she's um...you know?" he asked as Diluc looked at him, "You did it one time...I'm pretty sure she would be showing by now since that would make her 7 months." he stated as Kaeya blinked, "Right…" he said as he sighed, "How are you and Violet doing?" he asked as Diluc shrugged, "Normal i suppose, she'll be moving into the Manor once its fully built again." he said as Sara walked over, "Master Diluc, would you like your normal?" she asked as Diluc nodded, "Thank you Miss Sara." he said as she walked away to prepare Diluc's meal.
Violet growled lowly as she watched the two plot over how Kaeya was going to leave her sister, how dare they! Viox didn't deserve this! She onced that the sun was setting and Viox would be getting off work soon. She started making her way back to the Winery to tell Viox the plan of action.
"So he's gifting the other woman jewels?" Viox asked as Violet nodded, "Looks like it! Try to act surprised though, he doesn't know that you know." Violet said as Viox nodded, "So what now?" Viox asked as Violet sighed, "Well I can still wait outside by his back door so if you need me, I can help." she said, crossing her arms as Viox sighed, "I think that would be best. Honestly I'm just shocked that he's actually doing this to me." she said as Violet gently touched her twins shoulder, "Im sorry, if it makes you feel any better, Diluc is also in on Kaeya's departure...What jerks." she said as Viox looked up, "Diluc too? I'm sorry Violet…" she said, touching her sister's hand. Violet shrugged, "I don't need some man to be happy, he can kick it to the curb." she said as she pulled away, "Now let's get going." she said as Viox nodded, "Let me put this paperwork away." she said as she placed large stacks of paper in some drawers and locked it up. Violet hooked her arm around Viox's as they walked out of the Winery and down to Mondstadt's gates.
The 20 minute walk was gorgeous, as the leaves were changing to reds, oranges, and yellows. The breeze was still warm as they walked down the pathway. As they reached the stone bridge, Violet noticed that there was some frost near the water's edges. "Looks like Winter will be here soon." she said as Viox nodded, "It'll be nice to see some snow here." she said as they walked into Mondstadt. "Alright, I'll head this way to end up at the back door, remember, act normal, he doesn't know you know." Violet coached her sister as Viox nodded. "Right." she said as they waved goodbye.
Violet made her way towards the back of Kaeya's home quickly, she needed to be there before Viox, because if she was late, she wouldn't be able to land a good punch to that rat tailed jerk. Violet carefully jumped the fence and snuck to the back door. She could hear Kaeya inside scrambling around, "Amoura, do you think she'll like it?" he asked his dog, who barked in reply. Violet blinked, Like it? Wasn't he going to break off the Courtship? Why would he care if Viox liked it? She carefully peaked through the small kitchen window. The kitchen was set up so neatly, as Kaeya had placed the food on the table, with candle light, as he was dressed in a nice outfit, Violet couldn't see what he was wearing fully due to his back was to her. he was playing with the small box that he picked up earlier, "I'm nervous, what if she says no?" he asked the black dog, who whimpered lightly as the front door sounded. Kaeya looked even more nervous, as he went to answer it. Violet looked back at the table as the medium sized box was opened enough for her to see what the necklace was inside. Violet gasped quietly. Viox's vision laid in the velvet lining. He had found her vision. Violet bit her lip, did they have the wrong idea? She could hear Kaeya leading Viox into the kitchen, "Viox…"he said quietly as Viox looked at him, as he dropped to one knee. Violet was shocked.
