"Shit"
'wh-why does sh-she' "He-hey wait" my call for Levy falls on deaf ears as my voice is cut off
*RING-RING*
I stand in the middle hallway for a few seconds in silence before I hear hundreds of voices heading my way all heading for lesson, I stand there the voices fading out and out and out
"Luce" as I whisper her name thousands of memories buried for hundreds of years spring up all pushing and shoving each other trying to get out, but I repress them, if they were to all come out i-I wouldn't be able to control myself.
I turn around and head for class

With my hands in my pockets, I stroll to my class, I'm nearly there when I hear a small scuffle going on I turn my head around a corner to see, well its not really a scuffle its more of a beating
An F-class student was getting beat up by 3 D-class students
'Uhh, do I have to step in, I mean not really' I poke my head round to see the person is now crying 'okay that's too far' so I start approaching
"So, you sorry for bumping my friends' shoulder here, trash or are you gonna keep crying like a little bitch" he begins to laugh
"i-m sor-sorry" that voice it…it was a girl's voice, now I'm angry I can't do anything when girls cry, I eventually get round to where I can see her face, it was the girl who had cast the small snow spell, she had a black eye and a swollen lip.
"Tsk-Tsk that's not good ENOUGH" He then goes to punch her head to knock her out, before I catch his arm
"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to hit girls?" I say anger leaking into my voice, which he doesn't seem to pick up on as he speaks.
"Huh who do you think you are, F-class touching me, you disgust me get o-"he's shut up as he is sent flying back into a wall knocking him out instantly.
"If I were you two id take him to the infirmary," I say not a hint of emotion in my voice 'god that's the 3rd person I've put in the infirmary today and it's only the first day'
They run over and grab him and scurry off
I sigh and go to help up the girl on the floor
"yo-your F-class? H-How you just b-beat a D-class" she ask's as I help her of the floor
"Guess I got lucky" I chuckle, she looks up at me seeming about to ask me another question but before she can she falls to his knee
"Ahhhh" she grits his teeth and begins to stand up, instead of her falling over again, I pull her arm over my shoulder, I can't be bothered going infirmary again, so as I do I tap her shoulder and shoot healing magic all throughout her body not to a huge extent but enough so she can stand
"You think you can go to lesson, or do you need to go infirmary?" she stands up on her two feet and looks at me
"I-I can go to le-lesson, sorry for being a bo-bother and th-thank you" she bows, her body at a full 90-degree angle
"it okay don't her yourself bowing stand up and, I would be worse than them if I didn't help you" I say giving her a toothy grin, her eyes widen and a tinge of pink blooms on her cheeks
"Th-thank you," she says shyly, 'she kind of reminds me of Wendy when we first met her' I smile sadly to myself.
"Here I'll walk with you back to class"
She nod's as we walk back to lesson together

This is even worse than the first set of lessons, we got given an old woman to do our lesson on magic theory which in this world doesn't even understand magic fully yet, at least they know about the one magic, but it's all just…wrong, it was never figured out in my world, but we had a better understanding of it, this is honestly laughable compared to how advanced magic had become hundreds of years after I had left Fiore, they don't even understand the base power of One magic is love, well there were multiple theories, even my curse power is said to be a direct consequence of the one magic, but this version is laughable.
But just like that the last 2 and a bit hours had passed albeit agonizingly slow, as the bell rings, marking the end of the first day, for everyone else anyway, I stand up when everyone else does, but everyone stares at me as I leave the room, 'so they all think I'm gonna get the absolute shit beaten out of me'

As I'm about halfway there I hear a voice cry out to me
"Natsuuuu" "Natsu" two voices starkly different voices shout at the same time, one I could tell was Braun's and the other is… oh that girl that was getting beat up
"Huh, who are you!?" Braun shouts at the person whose name I did not get but if I remember it was Ria or something "I'm Ri-Ria and I was w-worried about Natsu as he saved me earlier" she says her hands behind her back 'someone worried about me that hasn't happened in a few hundred years' I chuckle inwardly.
"Yeah, well so am I, I came here so I could carry Natsu back to the dorm, so he doesn't have to walk far" Braun says crossing his arm over his chest
"So-so was I" she admits looking towards the ground, although I'm mildly amused by all this, I'm not getting beat up
"God, although it is nice to have someone care about me, you two aren't gonna have to be dragging me back to the dorms so don't sweat it, that spirit isn't gonna lay a finger on me" I say as I turn around, they look at each other exchanging quick glances back and forth, before shrugging their shoulders and following behind me.
Although I didn't acknowledge her, I knew she was there, a certain Redhead was listening in on our conversation.
Irene POV
'Wait did he just say spirit, oh god he could probably wipe that spirit from the spirit realm if he wanted to I should warn that women, god do I not want to, but it's something I need to do'
I teleport to the office building where all the teachers are setting up lessons and other things to do with school, I open the door and head for the 5th floor where Layla's office is, I knock twice
"Come in" I hear a voice from inside
I open the door to a decently large office, decorated by a desk at the back window and a chandelier hanging down
"So, what do I owe the pleasure of the visit of the Scarlet despair?" she giggles as my veins bulge
"You know I hate that nickname Layla, or should I say, the celestial queen" I smirk and close my eyes expecting a reaction only for more giggling to occur, I open my eyes to see Layla giggling, every vein in my body bulge's before I calm down 'this is important remember Irene'
"*AHEM* Layla did you send a spirit down to F-class for lessons today?" I ask she notices the seriousness in my voice and speaks up
"Yes, I sent Leo down there he came back a little while and asked if he could have Taurus and Cancer to come down to talk for a while" 'Oh shit he going to kill 3 celestial spirits
"Did he say why, he said he had to teach a lesson, I didn't ask any more questions and summoned them" she notices me pale and stands up putting her hands on the desk
"Why what are they up to?" she asks in a tone I flinch at but steel myself
"I have a feeling they're going to attack an F-class student" she breathes out what was a sigh of…relief
"Oh, thank god I thought they were doing something bad phew" she sits down again, before looking up at me noticing that I'm still panicked
"It's not like you Irene to worry about F-class, your more prejudice against them then I am, what's really going on, has one caught your attention…Romantically?" she teases, I blush, and she begins giggling…again
"Wh-What no it's not that Uhh the boy their attacking isn't normal, hell he isn't F-class" that got her attention
"What do you mean?" she asks intrigued
"The boy they're attacking…even I couldn't lay a hand on him" I say quietly
"What?" she asks thinking she heard her wrong
"That boy's power is beyond what we can understand' he's even more powerful than you know who"
Layla took it in for a few seconds, then a few more seconds, then a few more seconds
"How sure are you?" she asks looking at her knuckles
"I attacked him with one of my most powerful spells and he didn't even flinch, he also… he also took my dragon side away" Layla looked at me in shock " he can do that!"
"No…he already did…he even has my dragon slayer magic now" she stands up and paces around the office
"What's his name?" she looks at me now sitting on the front of her desk facing me
"Natsu Dragneel"

Natsu POV
I stand at the entrance of the classroom and sense 3 celestial presences inside Taurus, Cancer, and Leo
Ria and Braun are stood behind me
"Wait here I won't be long," I say putting my hand on the door
"Wait!" they both say putting their arm out
"What?" I ask not turning around
"You know you don't have to act all cool you can be scared" Ria speaks up shifting her feet around
"Yeah, we won't treat you any different at all" Braun puts his thumb up and smiles
'Wow these people are actually nice, you just got drawn the wrong hand in life'
I smile and open the door and am faced down with a very angry Leo while Taurus and Cancer look over the shoulder stifling a laugh.
"Don't you worry, there's only one being that's scared me in life and I don't think that thing is gonna be showing up here" I walk into the room where and close the door leaving two very confused students
"Your late, that's even more punishment" Leo speaks up first 'god what is it with these people and punishment'
"Soo this was the kid you were talking about Mooo" Taurus speaks 'God I forgot how much I hated that cow
"He doesn't look like much, and his hair could use some improvement Ebi-" Cancer says which all the 3 agree on.
I don't speak I wanna see where this goes first
"So not speaking ay kid, well let's begin anyway" Leo walks over to me and tilts my head up
"perfect" he cocks his fist back and throws a punch
A gush of wind blows tables and desks away
Cancer and Taurus who had come expecting to see some F-class shit get beaten up are dumbfounded to see the leader of the Zodiacs punch get caught
"Wh-what" Leo stutters I let go of his hand and flick my rest sending a gush of wind smacking against Leo sending him flying back and the other 2 skidding
"Leo, I thought you said this kid was F-class -ebi" Cancer says pulling out his scissors
"Mooo Leo what's with this kid he isn't normal" Taurus says pulling his axe out
"ha-ha- mavis people like you get on my nerves," I say in an amused tone, flicking my head upwards tilting it to the left my bangs covering my left eye, I also raise my magic power for the first time not by much but to that's off a high A class, I was getting really fucking tired of this
All three spirits stare at me they all think the same thing in unison 'what's with this kid's power, this F-class power'
"Wha-what are you on about, just who do you think you are, the only people that can even think about taking us on are people in S-class, you're an F-class you have no right to speak to me this way"
Leo shouts and jumps up and runs towards me he summons his rings and runs towards me
"REGULAS IMPACT" He screams running at me
"LEO THAT'S TOO FAR -EBI" cancer shouts over the charging Leo, but Leo ignores him as he charges at me, he raises his fist at me and punches
Irene's POV
*BOOM*
I and Layla are on the corridor next to the classroom when we hear an explosion
"Leo just activated one of his most powerful spells and that magic boost earlier wasn't any of my spirits, you must have been right about the boy, oh how interesting" Layla speaks clearly intrigued
We reach the classroom and see two very worried F-class students stood outside
"You two what's going on" they both turn around and well not that I blame them jump out of their skins to see some of the most powerful wizards in the country stood next to each other
The boy is completely out of it, but the girl speaks up
"u-uh Mr Leo said he would teach Natsu a lesson and we were here to take him back to his dorm after, but then we heard fighting and then the explo-" she cut off as we hear one of her spirit's shout
"Wh-What are you!"
'Shit, that's our cue' I look at Layla and nod
"Move out the way" I shout at the two, to which they comply.
We slide open the door to a scene I expected but not Layla, she expected at least half beaten boy but no
Natsu was stood perfectly fine his hands in his pockets, with Loki knocked out on the floor a cowering Taurus and what looks to be a petrified Cancer all scattered around the classroom
"CLOSE ALL GATES" Layla chant's, all 3 return to the spirit world as she had commanded
As soon as those words left her lips, I could see Natsu visibly freeze.
Natsu's POV
It's her, oh shit it's really her I was too busy scaring the shit out of the spirits I lost my track of my senses…she smells just like lucy, God okay this is gonna be difficult, but we got this.
I turn around and look at her…Nope can't do it
"Natsu" oh so she did come, but I wasn't expecting her to bring Layla…oh shit their her spirits, that makes a lot of sense uhhhh.
"What Irene, I was busy" I feel Layla stare at Irene she must be confused on why she's letting me speak to her like this
"Well, there her spirits so I just didn't want you to kill them" trying to pin the blame onto Layla
"I'd have to destroy the spirit king for that and at the moment I can't be bothered" I say turning around to leave, that's when she steps in front of me
"Hmmm" she studies me from top to bottom
"Wh-what do you want" right okay breathe in and out
"You're a very interesting young man Natsu Dragneel" I smirk at the comment all my worries leaving me
"Oh, trust me" I lean in "I'm more interesting than you could possibly imagine" I smirk and pull away
"Hmm I look forward to watching you in the class battle in a few weeks, I'd love to see how a little F-class does against everyone else," she says smugly
"What's the class battle?" I ask confused
"Your joking, right?" she asks confused looking between me and Irene who simply shrugged, I shake my head
"it's the biggest event in Fiore, were all classes clash against each other, S-class have won it 14 years in a row now" 'So its basically the grand magic games'…"sounds fun" I say walking out the classroom
"Well, he's certainly something Irene" still not all convinced
"That wasn't even close to what he did to me, you got lucky" she says before teleporting away
"Damn her and her teleportation" she looks around at the classroom 'I should get Virgo in here'
As I walked out I'm greeted by Braun who jumps on me
"Wha-what how aren't you dead!?" he shouts right next to my ear
"Ow my ear Braun" he jumps off and apologizes, Ria looks at me and is about to ask the same thing as Braun before I cut her off
"Let's walk to the dorm and I'll answer your questions on the way there" I say as we begin to walk, she speaks up.
"So how are you alive and what did the Celestial Queen and the Scarlet of Despair want with you" She asks, she uses her brain more than Braun 'she kept that name oh mavis just like in our old world'
"They wanted to ask me a few things is all, and she sent away Leo and the other spirits before they could do any damage to me" I say an extension of the truth but still the truth but the person doing damage was me not them.
"O-oh, what did they want," she asks as we exit the building
"It's about the class battle," I say, I notice them freeze up "whats wrong?" they look at each seemingly have a conversation with their eyes, 'when did these two get so buddy-buddy they met 30 minutes ago', that's is until Braun sighs and speaks up.
"F-class have always come last ever since the schools been around F-class always have come last" Braun speaks up
"Yeah, I don't think F-class has actually ever eliminated another player from another class during the game's ever in its history" Ria this time speaks up
I stop and turn around "So what's stopping us from winning it this year?" I say smiling, they both look at me like I'm crazy
"Your crazy man," Braun says, Ria 'hmms' in agreement
"Okay how long till it begins, " I ask to which Ria answers "it begins in 5 weeks, on the 7th of August"
"Well, the Ria by then I'm gonna make sure that you can cast a complex spell" I say again turning around facing the view of the campus the sun just hovering over the horizon
"Wh-what" but you can't even cast magic, so how do you expect me to learn anything" totally ignoring her I call out Braun next
"And Braun, I'm going to teach you some advanced card magic" I say to him as he stood behind me to my left
"Yep crazy," he says, I again ignore his comment.
"Well, if you don't believe I can teach you then don't meet me outside the dorm room at 6 am sharp tomorrow morning" I say putting my arms behind my head and walking off
Both Ria and Braun stand there for a few seconds before walking in separate directions, both thinking the same thing 'Yeah right he can teach us

6 am
The doors open to the dorm's where we see 2 people step out, Ria and Braun
"So, you guys came" they hear Natsu's voice slowly walking towards them emerging from the early morning fog" he smirks at them
"Well let's get started," he says as he claps his hand's
Last night Heartfilla household on campus
Layla gets in at about 11 pm where we see her take off her shoes and walk towards the stairs as she reaches the top, we see a beautiful blonde girl stood and the doorway to her room, Lucy Heartfilla
"You're in late mother," her daughter asks, "anything happen?" she prods for an answer
"Just some F-class boy getting mixed up with my spirit's" she says staring off into the distance
"Yeah, Leo hasn't hit on me at all today, I haven't actually seen him" she says thinking
"Funnily enough the F-class boy had knocked him out ha unbelievable right" out the corner of her eye Layla sees Lucy's eyes widen, but decides not to press on the matter.
"Wh-what was the boy's name," she asks skeptically
"Natsu Dragnee-" she cut off by her daughter slamming her door shut "Strange" she then hears her husband shout her name "Coming honey" she starts walking not before sparing one more glance at her daughter's bedroom door.
In Lucy's room, we see her stalk up to her wall and pull off a piece of paper
"Just who are you Natsu Dragneel?" she drops the paper to reveal a picture of none other than Natsu Dragneel
"*Achoo*, Uhh someone must be talking about me"
