In a field surrounded by a thick brush of tree, as well as to the east a mountainous terrain, and to the west, the city of crocus, glimmering in the early morning sun.
3 people walkout from the tree brush, 2 looking like they had just run a marathon… because they basically just had, while the other one looked like he hadn't broken a sweat
"Natsuu" one whined he was quite small and wasn't physically gifted either. "why did we have to run all the way out here to do some training" he said in between breaths as he fell on his back
"Y-yeah" the other one agreed a girl with long black hair and green eyes. "It se-seems a bit far away, I-I m-mean even though it's the weekend, I-its still far away from Crocus"
True we had left at 6 am and it's 11 am now. "C-mon it wasn't that far away, you and Braun just haven't ran before" I turn around to look at them both giving me a glare, 'well Ria's is more of a stare but-' my thoughts were cut off when Braun spoke up
"Anyway, when does our training begin!?" he asks sitting up,
"You're training already begun, that run was me testing you, and you guys are definitely not in shape" I turn around thinking.
"Having magic is one thing but, being able to use your body to make that magic stronger is up there with learning spells, and since you can both lack the body to make spells that you can't even cast yet, this is really going to be hell for you both" I turn around with a dark look in my eye, to which they both pick up on and gulp
"So if you don't want to make people in D-class, C-class hell even B-class look and awe at you then you can run all the way back to Crocus and go lie in bed all day!" I say again staring them both down
"Or-or do you want that, so you can stand up for yourself, so you can fight back!" I shout, they both stand up and smile and nod
"Yeah!" they both say in sync
"Good, so today I want you both to have activated your magic and do an attack spell" I say closing my eyes
"Wh-what bu-but how I can't even summon my magic never mind cast a spell, and I don't have my cards with m-" he cuts off as he's hit in the face by a set of spell cards fly at him
"Ow what was that f-…these are… there S-class rated magic cards, how in the…what how did you get them…did you steal them because if so, I do-"
"I made them, don't worry I didn't steal them," I say turning around, and walking a bit further into the field
"But how these are so powerful- they're even more powerful than ones I've seen in stores, how in the world did you make them" I don't answer the question as I turn to both of them
"Both of you come here" they do as I tell them too
"Sit down" again complying they sit down
"Sit like me" I get into a meditation position, one that my world used, what I had noticed in the book the yesterday was that this worlds magic gathering and magic expansion techniques were virtually useless, so if I'm gonna get these two powerful and quickly, were going to be using my techniques.
"Natsu, y-your i-n the wrong pose, n-no of-offence but how are you supposed to teach us magic i-if you don't know the ba-basics" Ria speaks up, I look at Braun who seems to be having the same thought.
I sigh and speak up "look, trust me just sit in this position breathe in and out 5 times and then try and flow your magic throughout your body" they look at each other before shrugging
They breathe in and out 5 times as told, and I begin to feel their magic flow through their body's
"Wo-woah I can feel my ma-magic…I can feel my magic" Braun starts to say but his sentence is quickly cut off as tears start flowing from his eyes
"Woah, Braun you okay?" I ask more confused, 'this shouldn't be painful'
"Yeah-yeah I'm more than okay, for the first time in my life I can feel my magic" he says wiping the tears
"This is… amazing, it's nothing like what I did in class, I couldn't even begin to feel this much power" Ria speaks up this time, tears springing up in her eyes
"Thank you Natsu" they both jump up from their positions and crash into me hugging me, 'I missed stuff like this, being alone you never experience anything close to this'
"Alright-alright get off me" I stand up as they follow my action
"So now your gonna do that for 4 hours, have fun," I say waving and walking away
"Wait what!" they both shout "wh-what about you, don't you need to train your magic?" Ria asks
"Hmm, Nah I'm good, anyway have fun" and with that I was back into the tree brush
"we'll we might as well start," Braun says sitting down and closing his eyes
"Y-yeah" Ria agrees.

With Natsu
"So I've gotta kill 4 hours hmm… I think I'll go explore Crocus" I say teleporting to outside the city
I walk in at the same place I did the first time entering, and of course the guard I had put the, in my opinion, very-deserved curse, is not at his station, as I walk onto one of the main streets I'm greeted by hundreds of different smells and aromas of foods and other items.
Most of the people in the city are all very young, probably due to school, I'm approached by a number of people trying to sell items that are quite obviously scams, probably trying to make a quick jewel or two of unsuspecting students…I mean not like I haven't done it before but let's not go into that…Penegrade was ridiculously expensive
As I'm walking through some of the stall's I notice a large number of students gathered around a blacksmith, I approach and hear a man shout.
"So, think you have a good sword or blade, well if it can take one strike from one of my blade's you get 10'000 Jewels, 500 jewel to try" I smile putting my hood to cover my face, oh well let's see whats going on over there
When I get to the large crowd, I see a boy with a very decent made sword if I had to give a class it would be low A-class he puts it in between the vice and the blacksmith picks up the…Mavis can that even be called a sword, he picks up a dull and rusted blade, the boy who had put his sword in the vice chuckles and speaks
"This'll be the easiest 10'000 jewel I've made in my life" he looks at the blacksmith "you may as well just hand over the Jewel now" the boy says
"Oh, don't be so sure," the blacksmith says as he swings his sword, the blade that had been in the vice shattered upon impact as pieces hit the floor below
"WH-WHAT THAT SWORD WAS A FAMILY HEIRLOOM OH IM SO DEAD FATHERS GOING TO KILL ME" he screamed, he looked at the blacksmith "You what did you do" he raged, as the blacksmith shrugs as he looks at the boy
"Your metal is weak, mine is strong that's all" he admits smugly, I simply smirk ' it definitely isnt the vice has a magic enchant on it that makes any blade basically turn to putty while it's held in the vice, this is ridiculous let me sho-' I'm pushed out from my thought's figuratively and physically by an armoured chick
"Hey wat-" wait a sec strawberry and cake… whats Erza doing here, yes the Red-head was here luckily I had my hood up so she didn't see me, the crowd went wild with her appearance, 'Jeez S-class really are like celebrities' "Hey look it's Erza Belserion" "She'll definitely win the 10'000 jewel"
"Ive heard of a bladesmith who is charging to test my metal, as I'm an S-class and the best swordsman in Crocus I demand you test my blade" she says shoving 5000 jewel in the man's face and her sword which looked to be very high A-Class it was a really nice, attractive looking sword, a blue hint to the blade accompanied by a red hilt.
"Huh this is 5000 jewel the test is only 500 wou-"
"Just test my blade already" she shouts like an impatient child, so the blacksmith complies smiling, you could tell what he was thinking something like 'oh I just made a lot of jewels' something along the lines of that
He puts her blade in place, sweating slightly as I see the enchantment take place, he looks up at Erza, she didn't seem it go off though, the man breathes a sigh of relief which I hear.
He picks up his blade, too which Erza sniggers at but doesn't speak up like the last boy.
And like last time the man brings down his sword and breaks the one in the vice, I look at Erza to see she has a look of…er…erm okay not gonna lie, ask me to read what a God is thinking you got it, ask me to read Erza's face at this moment in time you would get a shrug, I didn't know what she was thinking
"How that sword was one of my best, how could a terribly made sword like yours not break as it came into contact with mine, let alone break my sword" she says her aura going darker and darker every second…oh now I know what she's thinking, yeah, she's pissed.
She looked ready to cut off the guy's head as she reequipped a sword… oh never mind she was about to cut this guys head off, so I decided to speak up
"I'll have a go" I say handing over 500 jewel from my pocket, I had actually remembered this time to grab the money Irene had sent over to me.
"WAIT" I hear Erza below "Can't you see I'm having a conversation" she says her voice laced with venom, 'mavis she's like a child'
I sigh and ignore her before putting my hand out
"Come forth my sword" I chant calmly
A brilliant flash of golden flames engulfs my hand, and die down I beautiful scabbard with a sleek black design and white cloth tied around the scabbard, just above the hilt
The hilt of the sword is a black and gold pattern
Erza is immediately distracted by the sword just like everyone else is, a collective "woah" is said between everyone
I pull the sword out of the scabbard and even more amazement as more and more people study the blade.
The blade is a dark black with a scale pattern on the blade, I place the blade in the hilt and gesture for the blacksmith whose life I just saved to go ahead and hit it
He nods and raises his blade upwards and slashes down
Another loud shatter is heard as I smile, the blacksmith blade had shattered into dust, not even pieces, he looks at the blade in the vice, as he looks at the vice in shook
"Wh-What the hell, I was told it would work against any steel" he says shocked
I grab my sword out the vice swirling it around and placing it back into its scabbard before it dissolves into flames once again, this time dark red flames, and grab the 10'000 jewel that was on display before turning to crowd
"And that is why you don't cheat, see this man here had put an enchantment on his vice to make any blade put into the vice break on impact, that blade he had broken all the blades with was nothing special so if I were you, I wouldn't buy from here" I say smugly, I pat the guy on the back as the crowd splits as the guy from before comes running past me, he must have heard what I said as he punched the guy in the face, the crowd crowding round the shop once again and doing so cutting off my line of sight, not that I cared, 'hmm ill buy them a few bottles of water, they're gonna need it for training later'
"HALT" I hear a stern voice say, 'augh I can't be bothered with this'
"What," I say not even turning around, knowing it was Erza I'm gonna take a wild guess and say she wanted my sword.
"I want your sword" 'oh wow who woulda guessed'
I think for a second before simply stating
"No," I say and begin walking again.
That was until I hear running towards me 'oh she wouldn't' she grabbed my shoulder and tried to spin my around failing so decided to walk in front of me
"Sword. Now" she says closing her eyes and putting her foot down
"And no is still my answer," I say really getting sick of this
That's when Erza's eyes widen ' I knew it would only have been a matter of time but quicker than I thought. She had recognised my voice from yesterday 'Erza never did forget stuff, she reminded me of my wedding anniversary more time then I dare to count' I think again memories that had been buried for hundreds of years were being dug up again, all of family, of hardships, Erza my sister, that's when a memory broke through my defence.
"Grey" The demon spoke
"Natsu" Grey spoke
"Move" it spoke again
"So you were END all along" Grey again spoke anger evident in his voice
"Get out of my way Grey" again the demon spoke, this wasn't Natsu this was something else
"TELL ME NATSU" Grey shouted at the demon
"I'm…going to defeat Zeref…I have…to kill…Zeref" it kept speaking in the voice of his family his friend, his brother but it wasn't any of them, this was E.N.D
"I guess there's no getting through to you anymore"
"Don't…interfere…I have TO KILL ZEREF" the demon was angry tired of being stopped his thirst for his own brother's blood driving him on the edges of insanity
"Zeref…must die" he spoke his voice laced with venom, anger, every word for anger you could think off was put into those 3 words
"I can't believe my mortal enemy all this time…My parents…Ur…everything"
"You—a demon from the book of Zeref took it all from me…EVEN JUVIA!"
"I said move" the demon was on its last straws; he was getting impatient
"But don't worry Natsu, ill stop you now," Grey said activating his demon-slaying magic, his left body coated in dark black magic
"GET OUT OF MY WAY GREY!" the demon had burnt the last of the straw, he lunged at Grey as the two collided some say they felt the ground shake as if it were to collapse at any second, blows exchanged between brothers, family as the battle raged on Makarov had activated Fairy law, the demon slayer and the demon too preoccupied with each other to notice his fading magic signature before it had disappeared completely.
"I'm going to stop you, Natsu" but was Grey was wrong, the demon had only just transformed his power releasing slowly over time he had pushed grey back more than he had at the start.
Grey couldn't even begin to fathom how unmatched he really was to this Demon
"GREY!" the demon shouted
"NATSU!"
The demon was ready to deal the killing blow...until he heard it… the thing that would twist his gut even at the end of time if it were to come…someone was crying…a girl was crying…Erza was crying
It was too late for him to pull out of the attack to rush of to help but he didn't need to, before their fists could collide the demon felt it course throughout its body something foreign to him…but not to Natsu

Erza had caught both their fists one side burned to a crisp the other frozen, that's when the tears started rolling down her face one by one, they came
"What…are you two doing?" She said through her tears
Natsu and Grey looked at her and at each other
"Erza…" Natsu said his voice raspy
"Tears…" Grey said
She pulled them both in for a hug crushing their heads against her chest
"I love you both so…so much"
Natsu eyes stung with tears
"You're the F-class from yesterday what are you doing with a sword that powerful, you must have stolen it give it here, NOW" she demanded
Natsu was dazed and confused he couldn't tell reality from memories, so he did what the one thing in his mind that was sane was telling him to do…he ran
Erza bolted after him, so he jumped to the roof top's looking for an alleyway to teleport out the city, when he finally saw one, he ducked into the alley and teleported, he wasn't thinking of where he wanted to go, so it was a random jump.
As Natsu came out of the teleport, he rolled on the ground for a few seconds before he let down the dam he had held up for the past 10 minutes, he cried not small snobs or sniffles full-blown tears cascaded down from his eyes, but he didn't scream, he didn't wail like a child he let the tears flow he got up and looked around when he finally noticed where he was, he screamed and wailed this time just like a child would.
Natsu had teleported to the place where he wouldn't go even if he were given death, he was currently sat in where after they had died of old age team Natsu had been buried his eyes again confusing reality with memories, Gravestones were there for a second and then it was field his eyes hurt being open he curled himself up into a ball and cried until he felt tired and fell asleep

Natsu woke up 2 hours later
"Uhh Mavis, where am I" he looked around "oh" he quickly teleported not wanting to be anywhere near there, to a forest near the gates of Crocus
"I best get the water for the and head back"

4 hours was up as Braun and Ria were sat panting after an intense meditation session, which normally wouldn't make sense but here we are.
Natsu came out of the tree brush with a bag full of water bottles
"Natsu! What in the world did that do to me I feel 10x stronger than I did before I started!" Braun shouted
"Y-yeah, I-I feel m-my magic m-more than I-I ever thought I could" Ria said again tears pricking both their eyes
Natsu thought it was finally time to speak up "Well you guys believe me that I can train you to become stronger?"
They both nodded their heads shaking their tears of happiness away
"So, the trick to using your magic, is similar to what I told you to do when I told you to meditate"
"Flow your magic to where you want it to go, so for Braun, you'll flow it to your fingertips where the card will take it and distribute it as your spell and for you Ria it would be your hand"
"Got it?" I ask to which they nod
"Good, so now Braun take out a lighting card" Braun complied and went into the deck of cards and pulled out the lightning card "Throw it at that tree and shout LIGHTNING" I say doing a demonstration
"Okay, but I doubt it will do anything," he says the last but under his breath
"Oh, you'd be surprised how far a little training can go," I say with a smirk
"Wh-what how did you hear-Uhh whatever hear I go," he says positing himself 'he sounds like he's already thinking he can't do it'
"Hey Braun" I speak up
"Yeah?" he asks
"Your magic is based on your emotions, so thinking you can't do it, the spell isn't gonna work, trust me on this, think you can do this, you CAN do this got it?"
"Yeah!" he says smiling
"LIGHTNING" he says throwing the card
A large cloud forms above the tree
*CRACKOW*
A bolt of lightning strikes the tree causing it to fall over to the right
"Wh-wh-Wh-What I-I-I did that?" he asks looking on eyes bulging out their sockets
"Yep, although the power of spell did heavily depend on that car-" I'm cut off as Braun jumps into me
"Th-thank yo-you N-Natsu" he says as cries quietly into my shirt
I sit up "hey all I did was show you how to do i-" he cuts me off again"
"All my life ive been a laughingstock, having magic but not being able to use it, my family cast me out hated me, now I did that" he points over to the tree "all because of you, t-thank you Natsu"
"Hey, it's no problem really" I give him a big toothy grin I pull him off me and stand up.
"Ria, your turn, now it probably won't be as powerful as that, but that's because of the cards I gave him so you've gotta do the same as Braun, okay?" I said tilting her head up to look at me
"Y-yeah, I've got this"
"Right go to the tree over there and cast SNOW BOMB" she nods and walks over just a bit to the left of where Braun had stood
"Believe in yourself, believe in yourself, believe in yourself" she chants to herself before closing her eyes and flowing her magic through her body and towards her hands she opens her eyes and shouts
"SNOW BOMB" a massive wave of snow comes out of her hand as the tree she had aimed at is blown backwards falling over
"Wha-what I did it I actually did it, I…actually…cast magic" she says as the tears slowly flow down her face, I walk towards her and kneel down and pull her into a hug
"That was brilliant," I say to her rubbing her back
She stands up and bows this time more than 90-degrees this time.
"Thank you Natsu!" she shouts, I smirk as she straightens up
"Well, you won't be in a minute" I say evilly
"Wha-whys that?" they both ask gulping at the evil tone I used
"Its physical training time" as I stare of thinking of what to do, two very scared students try to tiptoe away
"ah-ah-ahh where do you think your going"
It had been 4 hours of torture for the both of them, there bones ached and hurt, and they were very tired but here they were testing their magic for the final time today
"SNOW BOMB"
"LIGHTNING"
The spells they had cast before looked like they had almost doubled in power.
As they both finished their spell, they both collapsed to the ground.
"So, you guy's ready to repeat this process tomorrow" I ask smiling down at them
"Wh-what," they both ask before fainting
"I guess maybe I pushed em a little too much he-he" 'there definitely not Natsumi'
"Papa look I cast my first spell," a little pink-haired girl said as she walked out of a burning home
"Oh w-welldone h-honey, do you remember when your m-mother is back from her mission" I asked smiling at her, she looks confused for a second, before looking over my shoulder
"Oh, I'm back right now N.A.T.S.U" I deadly voice came from behind "Oopsies"
'Mavis, I hate memories'
I grab them both by their shoulders hoisting them over mine and grabbing their legs, I teleport back to the dorms
After putting them both in their rooms I return to my dorm sneaking out to the bath Erza had caught me in yesterday, I relax
"I'll show you all who Natsu Dragneel really is"
