"WHAT'S GOING ON," "How did an F-class beat an A-class student?" "They must have cheated that's the only answer,"
Confusion has set in all around the stadium, people were confused as to how an F-class student had defeated an A-class student, they were baffled.
Sat high in the arena watching the competition on his own personal lacrima, Irene had stood up from her seated position to overlook the arena, her arms were placed over the cool metal, her mind currently elsewhere.
"I know you said that you only knew his name, but is there anything else about him that sticks out?" Igneel needed to know more about this child, to Igneel as of now, Natsu was an unknown singularity, and Igneel knew frighteningly little about him.
"The only things that have happened that have stood out are some events that have taken place while he's been at this school, I was sat in my office and he appeared out of thin air I didn't even sense him, he then told me he had a run-in with a gang, but I won't go into detail as I said I wouldn't," her eyes were locked on the arena not turning around to look at Igneel.
'I can already assume what has happened, this may be a matter worth bringing up in the monthly meeting,' Igneel was beginning to worry more and more about this boy.

Back in the arena Natsu was currently walking through a thick thicket of woods Wendy happily walking side by side with him; when they hear the announcer speak.
"Sho has been eliminated via ko," as the announcer's voice cuts of, Wendy goes wide-eyed, she had enjoyed their company, but she didn't think that they were at all capable, she had even doubted Natsu up until this point, she looks up at said person to see him casually looking around as if he's searching for something
"He-hey Natsu sho-shouldn't you be mor-more excited?" Wendy asked her face contorted into one of confusion
"Huh, why?" he asks again his head swivelling around every few seconds, Wendy was baffled 'huh what his teammate just eliminated some one and he's looking around like a mad man' she began moving closer to stand in front of his towering form, her face looking up at his.
"Natsu you-your team just elim-eliminated someone, there the first F-F-Class to do so," she says crossing her arms, she was a bit angry with his reaction for some reason.
"Hmmm," his eyes set on something in the distance, Wendy was about to speak up again when suddenly Natsu grabbed her by the arms and picked her up like a child, he twisted around 180 degrees holding her
"H-heyyyy!" as she shouted a large amount of blue fire flew past them burning the area around them to a crisp.
"Wh-what where di-did that come f-from," she asked Natsu.
"Braun and Ria are fighting Bora, Mest and Milliana; and we're gonna go help," Natsu said putting her down and patting her on the head, he stands up and begins jogging in the direction the flames came.
'How does he know, I couldn't even see the fire, yet he knows who and where they are, he's so much more powerful than me,' Wendy lets her head drop and slowly begins to follow.

Arriving at the battlefield, Natsu is first to notice the fact they're on even footing yet being outnumbered.
"Ria now," he hears Braun shout
"Right," she shouts back coming to a standstill and getting into her stance, Natsu having overseen their training knew what move they were going to attempt,
"This should be good," he sits down patting the spot next to him for Wendy to sit down, she does so reluctantly which Natsu notices.
"SNOW MAGIC: SNOW GLOBE"
A massive ball of snow forms in front of Ria, she extends her arms in front of her sending it flying at Milliana who had separated from the other two,
"WHAT IN THE WORLD, NO F-CLASS SHOULD HAVE THIS KIND OF POWER," Bora shouts he was standing with Mest currently both their eyes glued to the massive ball of snow hurdling towards Milliana.
"Shit," Mest suddenly vanishes and appears in front of Milliana grabbing her and teleporting her back with him and Bora.
"What the hell kinda magic is that!?" Braun shouted, confused as to how he teleported.
The massive ball of snow suddenly hits where Milliana would have been creating a massive shockwave that destroy all the trees around it in a fairly big radius.
"W-wow" Wendy stutters out, 'F-classes are…powerful,'
"Hey Wendy, go help the two of them," Natsu says looking her directly in the eyes.
"Wh-what, I-I'm not strong enough I couldn't ev-even sense the fire an- and-,"
"So what, you couldn't see the fire fast enough, Wendy what did I say before?" he asks his look was intense and was directed directly into her eyes.
"Th-that I shouldn't doubt myself an-and that I must always have a strong reso-resolve," she says her head eyes glued to the floor.
"Wendy, you're not weak by a very, very long shot, a resolve is what pushes you to use that strength, strength on its own is good but with a good resolve you could become undefeatable, and with one like yours," he says angling her head up so that her eyes met his "Nothing in this world can stop you,"
A few stray tears poured down from her eyes as he finished his sentence, "So go on and go help Ria and Braun," he said as he stood up himself holding out his hand for her to accept
"Yeah!" she said grabbing his hand.

"Ria, you alright," Braun asked running over to where she was stood.
"Just a little banged up that's all," she had been hit pretty badly by one Bora's fire spells,
"So are you F-classes ready to give up yet," a cocky voice shouted from across the wooded area where Bora, Milliana and Mest were stood next to each other.
"I don't know how Sho was knocked out probably one giant fluke so why don't you guys call it quits and surrender, we won't hurt you too bad, just enough to set an…example," he said lighting a blue flame in his palm.
"Heh, nah your alright after the training Natsu gave us, it would be an insult to him to give up now," he said pumping his fist into the air.
"That cocky bastard of a leader you have…IM GOING TO KILL HIM," Bora began running towards Ria and Braun.
"FIRE MAGIC: PROMINACE TYPHOON" Stretching his arms out wide a spinning typhoon of fire is launched at Ria and Braun
"Shit, Ria watch out," Braun jumped in front of Ria to defend her from the spell.
"Wind magic: Gale force Gust" A massive gust of wind came from the right of where Braun and Ria were stood, it deflected the fire to the left of them causing an explosion nearly twice the size of Ria, snow spell.
"Ar-are you guy's alri- oh I'm sorry to intrude," Wendy said running towards them before quickly turning around.
"Wendy I'm glad you're here…wh-what do you mean intrude" Braun said pushing himself up, looking down he noticed his hands were placed just next to Ria's shoulders and his and her faces were but centimetres apart.
"o-oh," he quickly pushed himself up and stood up his face red as a tomato.
"Im ok-okay too," Ria said coughing slightly as she stood up, her face even redder.
"Okay good l-lets get these guys, Braun said pulling out a light card from his deck.
He whispered a few words in Wendy's ear, she nodded her head and stood of to the left, he then spoke to Ria a slight blush on both their faces as he leaned into whisper into her ear.
She moved to the middle and he was on the right.
"Let's go," he shouted.
Wendy ran off towards where Bora was, Braun had gone for Mest and Ria Milliana, with Wendy, she approached where Bora had been prior to both their spells, he was currently nursing a cut smaller than one you'd get from a needle.
"Damn S-class giving them a child, what a pain," he said standing up, noticing Wendy he began laughing.
"Do you really think you; a child could take me on, never mind eliminate me Bahahaha. Your weak," he began cackling to himself, before he swallowed a tad too much dust and began coughing, extending his hand out, he beckoned her to attack.
"Anyway give me your best shot. Child," as he said that Wendy used her wind to fly at Bora at breakneck speeds.
"Huh?" Bora was hit with a knee to the face sending him flying back into a tree, he was surprised by the force, it really had hurt, like a lot
He stumbled up and held his cheek, "That hurt you little sh-," before he could even think he was sent into another tree by a massive amount of wind.
"I'm not weak," a confident voice spoke up emerging from the dust, "I have something I want to fight for, so even if I wasn't strong, I would still beat you," Wendy's voice had lost all its timidness, she had lost the stutter and being honest she sounded a little terrifying.
"Shu-Shut up you're just a little girl," he said as several beads of sweat rolled down his forehead.
"Wind magic: Hurricane" a massive torrent of wind surrounded Bora sealing him inside
"Shi," He was cut of as he was swung around in the vortex of wind knocking him against tree's and after the third, he passed out.

"BORA HAS BEEN ELIMATED VIA KO, meaning A-class's vice-captain will take over," the announcer shouted as Braun approached Mest
"What, there's no way, even if that girl was S-class there's no way in hell she'd be able to defeat Bora," Mest said as several beads of sweat rolled down his forehead.
"Well you best believe it, were F-class and were here to win this tournament," Braun said a confident smirk spread across his face.
"Is that so?" as Mest said that he appeared in front of Braun and gave him a swift haymaker to the gut sending him skidding back.
Braun made a pained face before regaining his bearing's, he hadn't expected him to get there so fast.
"Wh-what the hell is your magic," Braun said hoping to trick him into boasting, as he said this, he pulled out a water and lighting card from his deck
"Hoh?" Mest mocked him "I'm not that stupid," he said again appearing in front of him, swiftly delivering a kick to the abdomen, which to Mest's surprise Braun blocked and had placed two cards on his leg.
"Yeah, you are," Braun jumped back and activated the card.
Mest's whole body was covered in water in a split second followed by a lighting bolt cooking him for a few seconds before he slumped to the ground.
Braun smirked and pumped his fist triumphantly, he turned around to go find Ria when the hairs on the back of neck stood up, "No you'll find I'm not," as said Braun felt his head get rocked by a haymaker to his skull sending him flying.
He landed slumped up against a tree, not moving.
Mest walked over to him and stood laughing 'too think he actually thought he'd have me beat'
Mest turned around and began walking away… till he heard Braun begin to stand up.
"Ow, now that is gonna leave a mark," he stretched off jumping up and down before staring Mest down.
"let's go," He ran at Mest who vanished as Braun put his arms up in defence; got it right as Mest sent a swift kick to his gut which he blocked.
"What's your magic man," Braun was brainstorming and brainstorming until he heard a voice from the tree line
"His magic is teleportation magic," said the figure emerging from the thicket, "but that's not all there is to it," a large mop of pink hair gave Natsu away,
"Wh-what how did you, I didn't even sense yo-," Mest was shells shocked how did this guy know his magic.
"What's the other thing," Braun asked, he wasn't really surprised but abit confused.
"He can only teleport in straight lines," as Natsu said those words, Mest's blood ran cold, how did this guy know so much, how did he get such information?
"H-how in the wor-," he was dazed and confused at this point, basically delirious.
"I'll be off," and with that Natsu withdrew
"I know how to beat you now," as he said that he grabbed a deck and grabbed around 30-40 cards and scattered them around, Mest was too confused to even register what was going on,
"CARD MAGIC: FOOLS WORLD"
"Wh-what did you do?" Mest asked the magic hadn't affected him yet and he certainly didn't feel anything.
"I'm not that stupid," Braun replied smugly
"Whatever," Mest said as he swung at nothing with a haymaker, he looked around confused before doing the same thing again but this time he used his knee.
"What are you doing you Idiot?" Braun asked giggling away
"Why is my magic not working?" Mest shouted in frustration, 'it must be that spell, its must affect an area of effect where no one can use magic, that's it so if I just beat him u-' his thoughts were cut off when he received a haymaker 10x harder then any he had received all day, thus knocking him out of his thought's and just in general.
"MEST KNOCKED OUT VIA KO," the announcer shouted.

"Wh-what is going on, i-i-I thought I could beat you all up, bu-but you got Sho and Mest and Bora,"
"W-well I mean w-we've all tried a-are best to get str-strong," she said a certain proudness in her voice, as she squeezes and un squeezes her left hand, looking back up at Millianna it's like she's a different person
"So I should probably finish with beating you quickly," as she says this snow comes up from the ground where Milliana is standing.
"Ehhh?" 'How did she get the snow to my feet, and it's really strong I can't get out' looking up from her feet she noticed that Ria was gone "H-hey wherdya go Snowy?" she asked using a nickname she had come up with.
"Hoh, I'm right behind you," Milliana felt like she was freezing she couldn't see her, but she was mortified of what she'd find if she turned around, and just like that her whole world went black.
Ria had gotten behind Milliana and given her a chop to the neck, knocking her out.
"MILLIANA KNOCKED OUT VIA KO,"

Natsu was sat leaning up against a large tree waiting for the three to get to him.
"You three have done well," as three figures emerge from the tree's, bruised and beaten.
"Ahh well couldn't have done it without you Natsu," said Braun holding his left arm which he hurt after blocking one of Mest's punches
"Y-yeah we got this Natsu," Ria said smiling, going red as she made eye contact with Braun.
"Tha-thank you Natsu," Wendy said bowing to Natsu, "Thank you," she repeated
"Well everything is going to plan so far, we're just waiting o-," he was cut off as the announcer shouted over him.
"DRAKE AND RUBY ELIMINATED VIA KO, ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL SCENE'S HERE," a large lacrima displays a battleground where Drake and Ruby lay bloody and beaten, badly beaten, as on top of Ruby a girl with long blonde hair was stood stomping on her unconscious body, then the screen cut off.
"What the hell was that, why did she keep going, wh-what-," Braun was on the verge of tears as he looked to see Ria who was actually crying, Wendy had gone wide-eyed with a lone tear streaking down her face.
"Nat-," he was already gone, not a second later an incredible magic force was felt, it was overwhelmingly powerful.
"Let's go," Braun spoke wiping his eyes and running in the direction, Ria and Wendy following.

In the centre of the arena, the biggest open part of the arena stood two figures.
"FUCK YOU, BITCH YOU GOT DIRT IN MY HAIR AND RUINED MY MAKEUP," Screamed charlotte at Ruby's unconscious body,
"That shouldn't have been that difficult," said Cobra nursing a bleeding left arm.
"Yea-," she was cut off from speaking
*BOOM*
A massive explosion rocked the ground they were standing on, and not a second later a massive magical power sent several shivers down their spines, this was worse than when the dragon emperor had told them to kneel.
"You have angered me," spoke a voice from the crater.
"And you will pay in blood for it"
