10 minutes prior
Stood on the edge of the middle part of the arena Ruby and Drake were stood waiting to move to their next scouting area.
"Uhhhh, I'm so bored where are the other classes, I wanna use my magic to hit something," moaned Ruby as she slumped up against a tree, slowly sliding down it and sitting leaning up against it.
"If you sit down like that, we won't find anyone to fight either way," Drake said not his arms crossed looking away from her, he was facing into the forest.
Suddenly Ruby's face lit up bolting to a standing position and walking up to Drake and poking him in the back
"What?" he asked still not turning around.
"Why don't you fight me Drake!" she shouted, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"…No," he said walking away in the direction he was facing.
She whined as she fell to the floor sulking.
She sat on the floor for a minute before standing up and walking in the same direction as Drake…That was her plan till a dagger came flying her way which she just about dodged.
"Ho ho ho, not even a low A-class could have dodged that, so tell me why a lowly F-class such as yourself can?" came a deep voice from the forest canvas.
As he emerged from the forest the scar on the right of his eye was the thing that stood out the most about him.
"Well Charlotte looks like we finally found one," as he said that a girl with Blonde hair came out of the forest next to him, although her height paled in comparison to the man stood next to her, he was stood at around 6 foot; while Charlotte was around 5'3.
"Finally I've been wanting a battle for ages," Charlotte declared rolling her shoulders and pulling out a silver key, Cobra pulled out a pair of throwing knives and pulled out a vial of something and applied it to his blades.
"I think we're ready," he said looking at his blades and licking his lips,
He and Charlotte looked up expecting to find an F-class on the floor in fear…instead, they found a girl positively gleaming with excitement,
"Finnnnalllly," she said jumping up and down, "I finnnnallly get to fight," she screamed excitedly.
"H-heh?" Both Charlotte and Cobra said, deadpanning to the max before slowly regaining their composure and got into battle positions
"Open gate of the hound: Fenris" As she chanted her magic, a wolf just smaller than Ruby appeared next to Charlotte
"Go Fenris!" she shouted pointing towards where Ruby…had been.
Charlotte franticly looked around trying to locate Rub-,
"This is fun," as she heard that voice Charlotte felt her whole right side rock as she was pelted into a tree by something.
"GUHHH," she fell down into a sitting position spitting up saliva with a small amount of blood mixed in.
"Wh-what?" asked Cobra looking around before he saw Ruby looking at the wolf as it charged at her
"BODY ENHACMENT: STRENGH" as she said that her fists glowed a bright orange, as the wolf got within biting range it was sent flying with an uppercut, vanishing back to the spirt realm.
"So that's her magic," "Hey Charlotte, she can enhance her natural abilities tenfold with her Magic!" he shouted as he noticed her getting up.
"Okay got it," she replied pulling out a golden key.
"Ch-charlotte I thought you said you would only use it against S-class!" Cobra shouted noticing the golden object.
"If she's fast and strong, then I have to use someone who's strong as well," she says going to summon the spirit
"W-wait your magic will be near deplete-," before cobra can complete his sentence he's sent flying by a punch from Ruby,
"Be quiet will ya," she says standing still regaining her composure, and locks eyes with Charlotte =.
"Is that wolf all you've got if so this isn't going to last long," Ruby says activating her strength enhancement.
"OPEN GATE OF THE LIO: LEO" a bright light envelops the field, as it dies down a man in a suit is stood his hands messing with the cuff of his jacket.
"H-hey aren't you my old teacher?" Ruby asked surprised by the familiar face,
"Huh?" Leo looked down at the teen before pondering for a few seconds, then his face appeared, that smug looking pink haired bastard.
His face darkened and his magic signature skyrocketed, still Ruby stood strong.
"You're in; Natsu's class?" a devilish smile appeared on his face as he charged at Ruby hitting her in the wrists as she had blocked the blow.
Ruby was blown back a decent distance kicking up dirt as she slid back, coming to a stop she had realised that her wrists were broken, badly, the pain was unimaginable, this guy was on a completely different level to the other three she had come up against.
She fell to the ground in agony, she tried to raise her head up to shout for Drake but as she did she felt it being pressed down by a foot,
"That's what trash like you gets," came the cold voice of Charlotte, as she was about to swing her foot at her head to knock her out, a massive barrage of water came sweeping at her from the side.
"Regulus Impact" a massive air blast dissipates the water, Drake then comes running out the woods.
"RUBY!" he ran towards her putting up a wall of water between him and the other two.
"M-my wrists are broken I can't f-feel my hands," she said as tears streamed down her face from the pain.
"Sh-shit okay I'll get Natsu," as he stood up, he felt a sharp pain to his left as his body went numb, he collapsed next to Ruby,
"I can't feel anything," he stated in shock,
"That because with my paralysis poison you won't be able to move for a few hours," said the voice of Cobra as he emerged from where he was thrown to earlier.
"Wh-wha-, AHHHHHH," Drake screamed as Cobra pulled the knife from his side,
"Oh, it also amplifies all the pain you receive tenfold," he chuckled as he slide the knife back into his sheath.
"Now sleep," As he said that he kicked Drake square in the jaw, a sickening crack ringing out as well as what sounded like skin tearing
Ruby began to panic she looked at Drake to see his whole jaw was hanging off blood pouring from where it used to be,
She screamed but nothing seemed to come out, and as she was slipping into shock she saw two things, Leo going back to the spirit world and Charlottes boot.
"You stupid bitch," Screamed Charlotte as she stamped on Ruby's head, then the announcer's voice was heard.
"DRAKE AND RUBY ELIMINATED VIA KO, ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL SCENE'S HERE," as the announcer's voice died down Charlotte gave Ruby was last good kick to head a loud crunch sound similar to Drakes ringing out.
"FUCK YOU, BITCH YOU GOT DIRT IN MY HAIR AND RUINED MY MAKEUP," Screamed charlotte at Ruby's unconscious body,
"That shouldn't have been that difficult," said Cobra nursing a bleeding left arm.
"Yea-," she was cut off from speaking
*BOOM*
That's when they felt it, it was like nothing they'd felt before, they couldn't move they were both paralysed with fear, this power was on par with the dragon emperor.
"You have angered me," spoke a voice from the crater.
"And you will pay in blood for it"
"Wh-what are you?" spoke Cobra, Charlotte couldn't speak she was too afraid, her muscles had all clamped up.
Stepping out from the smoke and sizable crater, stood the one that they were warned about
Natsu Dragneel
A massive gust of wind blew both of them back a few feet coming to a stop, the realised both bodies were gone, looking over just behind the crater Natsu was applying healing magic to both their wounds, he had healed both completely, it was his fault they were injured he hadn't fought that they would have a celestial wizard on their side.
Standing up he began walking over to the two of them, their own shock preventing them from moving,
His feet cracking the ground as he walked over, he got halfway to them before he caught a knife that had been aimed for his head,
"Wh-what ho-how-," Cobra was in disbelief he couldn't believe what he had seen, he fought that with his adrenaline pumping he could get him, he wasn't even close
"You're too slow," as Natsu spoke Cobra felt each individual rib break as Natsu plunged his fist into his body, before Cobra could fly back Natsu grabbed him by the neck and slammed his fist into him again, and again, and again, Cobra had blacked out on the second punch, but Charlotte had seen everything, as Natsu held him up by his head he tossed him to the side, his whole midriff was dented and his ribs were poking out of his stomach.
"Don't worry, he's not dead I've made sure that he'll live," Natsu said approaching Charlotte
As he was approaching her, a massive flash of light appeared, and 3 figures came out.
Coming out from the light came Aquarius, Leo, and Taurus all battle ready
"Don't worry Charlotte you get out of here, your mother sent us in, she was worried he'd kill you," said Aquarius standing in front of Charlotte, wiping away the tears of fear that were currently streaking down her face,
"So it's you Natsu, time for my revenge," Leo said activating his rings
"Yeah, we will Remooove you from this tournament," Taurus shouted equipping his axe
Before they could even move to attack Natsu, he appeared in the middle of the two and grabbed both their heads
"Shut up," as he said that he twisted both their heads, snapping their necks, and sending them back to the spirit realm.
"Wh-what, Taurus, Leo, you killed them?" Aquarius screamed, shielding Charlotte who had fallen to her knees and had curled up into a ball, all she could see were the spike-like objects coming through Cobras chest, flashing in her head every five seconds.
"Close gate of the water bearer: Aquarius," as he said that Aquarius dissipated back to her realm.
"H-how, di-did you," Charlotte was petrified, she didn't know what to do he had just sent her saviour back to where she had come, even though he didn't even possess that magic… to her knowledge anyway
"Are you a Heartfilla?" Natsu questioned he had come to a standstill in front of her.
"Y-y-yes sir," she replied quivering
"That's a problem," as he said that he placed his index finger on her forehead.
"Sleep" Charlotte then slipped into slumber.
"Wh-what in the world just happened," the announcer's voice rang out "W-well it seems F-class have…Won, and can we get extreme medical attention to A-class ASAP," as he said that the voice cut off
Just as he cut off, Ria, Braun, and Wendy, arrived from out the bushes rushing towards Drake and Ruby,
"DRAKE, RUBY," Ria worryingly shouted, that seemed to be enough as Drake and Ruby's eyes fluttered open
"Wh-what happened," Ruby asked rubbing her eyes as if she'd just woken up from a nap, Drake doing the same,
"I'm not actually sure, we saw you guys get beat and then Nats-," that's when Braun spotted Natsu walking towards them
"Natsu, are you okay, what happened?" Braun asked frantically,
"I won,"
