KRAKOOM!
The very Earth shook as Jean Kirstein, member of the Paradis Survey Corps, graduate of the 104th Training Corps activated the dynamite wrapped around the neck of his fellow 104th graduate, Eren Yeager, holder of the Attack, Warhammer, and Founder Titan. Completely Blowing his titanic head off of its humongous body. Jean watched with his fellow alliance members, some members of the 104th just like him, some a part of the Warriors group from Marley, and others from every corner around the world.
This ragtag group of friends and enemies had just saved what was remaining of the world from the "devil" Eren Yeager. The groups of soldiers and just everyday civilians around him started to cheer and began to party whilst Gabi alongside Falco ran into the crowd to try to find their families.
Jean dropped to the ground staring at his hands.
"You stupid suicidal blockhead!….it didn't have to end like this" he told no one other than himself as he plopped to the ground, staring ahead at the thousands of unmoving colossal titans in front of him and the dead body of his friend.
"No, this was the only way to stop him, he wouldn't have listened to us, we tried everything Jean." Graduate of the 104th Training Corps and the 15th commander of the survey corps, Armin Arlert, holder of the colossal titan, told him as he took the seat beside him sitting over the cliff.
"He wanted us all to be free, that's why he let us keep the power of our titans and let us fight back against him." Reiner Braun, graduate of the 104th Training Corps and member of the Warrior group, current holder of the Armored Titan told the group as he rested his hand on Jean. As he stared down at the decapitated head of Eren's Attack Titan.
"Eren wanted us to be celebrated as heroes, the saviors of the human race this way none of the surviving humans would attack Paradis." Annie Leonhart, graduate of the 104th Training Corps and member of the Warrior group, current holder of the Female Titan thought out loud as she too stared down at the head of Eren's Attack Titan before whipping her head around to find her dad staring at her with wide eyes and open arms. As the two embraced in a long hug, Pieck Finger, member of the Marelyan Warriors program, current holder of the Cart Titan, spoke up from behind the group.
"He sounded like a great person" she almost whispered as she instead looked at the handful of people that were saved as they partied and hugged each other, some even crying on their knees thanking their saviors.
"He was a great friend as well, well before all of this" Connie Springer, member of the Paradis Survey Corps, and graduate of the 104th Training Corps, sighed as he knelt on his right knee to stare down at his friend's decapitated head.
Suddenly wordlessly, Mikasa Ackerman, member of the Paradis Survey Corps, graduate of the 104th Training Corps, and Eren Yeager's adopted sister leapt off the cliff, catching herself with her ODM gear before crashing onto the ground next to the Attack Titans head.
"MIKASA!" Armin yelled after her as he jumped off the cliff as well, followed behind shortly with the rest of the alliance members aside from Annie who was still sitting up on top of the cliff with her father.
"Mikasa what the hell!" Jean yelled as he thudded onto the ground behind Mikasa already reaching for her, only to see she had a tear streaming down her face. Jean stopped and just stood silently.
"Mikasa, I get that you're sad, but you can't just go jum-" Connie tried to start a joke but was quickly interrupted by Mikasa, whilst the rest of the alliance came landing beside him.
"Eren was fighting for those people up there. He fought and made himself a MURDERER for them and when he dies the first thing they do...they celebrate." Mikasa raged out loud as everyone around her just stood silently looking down at the brown dusty battleground.
Mikasa began to walk towards the Attack Titan's humongous carcass and the rest of her group followed in pure silence as they looked around them, from the footprints left by the colossal titans, to the dead bodies crushed by the rumbling, to the enormous blood red feet of the thousands of colossal titans, and finally to the Attack Titans headless corpse.
Mikasa fell to her knees as she started crying, clutching her scarf to her face, the scarf Eren had given to her all those years ago. Armin stood silently with an unreadable expression on his face as he looked onto the titanic body of his once best friend, a single tear ran down the right side of his face as his expression unwavering. Jean and Connie both collapsed on the ground as they too stared at the titan corpse of the man who was once their friend. Reiner was holding his head as he dropped to the floor repeatedly whispering,
"It's all my fault, it's all my fault, if I had just abandoned the mission, if I didn't tear down the walls…."
Pieck walked over to him and tried to comfort him, opening her mouth to speak but quickly shutting it when she couldn't get the right words out. Everyone stared at the titanic body of their once friend and/or enemy taking in all of their emotions when suddenly a short man with black hair hobbled to the front of the group and stood right over the titan body of Eren Yeager.
This man was Levi Ackerman, dubbed as humanity's greatest soldier, and the Survey Corps second-in-command.
"Idiot brat, I told you not to get too full of yourself didn't I." Levi yelled as he kicked what seemed to be the shoulder of the Attack Titan. Levi kept kicking at the corpse occasionally shouting out the words, brat, moron, and idiot.
"Captain, that's enough" Connie mumbled as he went to grab Levi's shoulder to pull him back. Levi shrugged him off and lifted his leg for another kick when Mikasa shot her hand out and grabbed Levi's leg catching him off guard. Levi lifted his leg preparing to kick Mikasa away from him but immediately stopped when he heard something.
Everyone whipped their head to where the sound was coming from, the Attack Titan's corpse. Armin stepped forward towards the corpse to see where the sound was coming from when suddenly it shattered into thousands of pieces. Stunned, the alliance stood there trying to figure out what just happened.
"Ha…...Ahaha" Armin began to laugh maniacally, that's when the rest of the alliance saw it, a wire stretching as far back as the eye could see.
"That bastard, he was never even here!" Jean yelled out loud as he himself realized what was going on. Armin continued to laugh with what can only be explained as a madman's grin plastered all over his face.
"What happened here?" Annie asked as she slammed onto the ground beside the alliance.
"We heard the noise. What's going on?" Falco asked as he also landed beside them, holding Gabi.
No one answered their question as most of the alliance just stood there in disbelief, Armin still laughing.
"Can someone speak and tell me WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" Annie shouted at the group. Gabi and Falco stood there quietly as they realized what they were looking at. Gabi crashed on the floor cradling her head. Falco stared at the white wire stretching all the way into the horizon, a look of disbelief all over his face.
"Its just like what he back on Paradis, isn't it" Falco whispered to himself with a grim look starting to take over his face. Annie still looked around in confusion before locking eyes with Reiner.
"Annie h-" Reiner tried to start but didn't know what to say or how to say it.
Armin's laughter stopped as he walked over to Annie,
"He's still alive, Annie. Eren isn't dead. IN FACT, HE WAS NEVER HERE." Armin shouted right in her face as he began laughing hysterically again.
"...what...what are you talking about Armin? His body was right here, what happened?!" Annie responded, her words barely coming out of her mouth.
"Annie, remember how we told you Eren ate the Warhammer Titan, one of its abilities was to hide the shifters real body outside of the nape, instead keeping it safe, crystalized away from the fight." Pieck spoke up and finally answered her question.
Annie refused to accept this answer however, rushing towards Pieck.
"WHAT WAS THAT TITAN THEN, THE ONE WE FOUGHT SO HARD TO TAKE DOWN!" she screamed as she grabbed Pieck by the shoulders, holding her as she crumpled to the ground.
"It - it was one of the Warhammer's creations, made out of t-titan hardening." Reiner answered, his hands trembling as he slowly sat himself down on the ground.
"And if Eren isn't here on the battlefield, well then…. AHAHA...well then we can only assume he's still all the way on PARADIS!" Armin shouted as he continued to laugh.
"There's nothing we can do now" Armin claimed as he finally stopped laughing, coming to his senses.
"Of course, there is we ca-" Falco jumped up to explain but he was quickly interrupted and shot down by Reiner.
"No, we can't, Armin's right if Eren is on Paradis we can't fly there on your titan or the plane, and we can't travel on the back of the Female, Colossal, or Armored. It's way too far." Jean explained in a monotone voice still staring dead ahead.
"All we can do is sit here and wait" Connie spoke up, finishing Jean's sentence. The feeling of victory, relief, and sadness that had washed over the group was now completely gone; the only thing remaining was dread, and fear of what Eren would do and what was to come.
