Hello to you friends readers. Why the delay? Well I have a little surprise at the end of the chapter (it's not a professional thing, but I wanted to make my vision clear to everyone).

Today we're finally going to launch the scenario (well yes we're not going to keep going in circles), attention little disclaimer in this chapter I'm going to refer to suicidal ideas (It's very joyful lol). No new question since the last time so that means that everything is good (well I hope)

Thanks to Fabian Amengual, I Dalmata Fan I, StoryCrafteer, persona-user, miner123lolpeel, Joshua8201 who follow this story. And in other news, I recently passed 500 views for this story a big thank you to you, and as always a big thank you to Echoes for his help.

It will soon be four days, and I am still imprisoned in this world that is not mine, and I will probably be for the rest of my miserable existence. The daylight did not wake me up this time, I had already been awake for several hours, maybe two or more. My sleep was not as restful as I had hoped, I spent the first half of the night thinking about what that turtle had said, about the fact that I was probably the last human alive. Placing my hands over my face, I breathed heavily through them.

"I am the last..." this thought had totally broken me, I didn't know what to do and unfortunately the other part of my sleep cycle was summarized by having the same nightmare again and again. Replaying the scene of the accident, but this time Dubois was shooting at me repeatedly, aiming at different parts of my body such as my arms or legs, I kept begging him to stop, but with each of my pleas he opened fire on me again. My body was eventually riddled with bullets. My blood had spilled all over the floor and splattered on the walls. I was still alive, breathing hard, I then saw Dubois approaching me, pointing the barrel of the gun at my skull. I could feel the hot metal slowly burning my skin and looking me straight in the eyes, he said.

"You have been very useful to me until now! But you are worthless!" He pulled the trigger, a huge flash of light exploded in front of me, I woke up sweating, distraught and in tears every time that damn nightmare permeated my dreams. I must have seen it at least three times last night. I breathed out in exasperation towards the ground, a tear began to form, just thinking about my dream made me remember everything I had lost, my people, my world, my friends and... the one I considered my father. I pounded my fist on the ground in anger.

"I was tired of it all! If even my dreams persecute me and make me suffer, what's the point... what's the point..." I didn't know what to do anymore, end it here and now? But how? Straightening up from my lying position, I looked all around me, to find the best way to end it quickly. I observed carefully each element of the clearing, my eyes stopped for a moment on the pond. Drowning? No, it will be too complicated and too brutal, I want something quick, almost painless. I continued to scan the surroundings before I started to observe with great attention the tree that was on my left, it must be not less than seven meters high if I stand at its top, I could jump there and hope to break my neck on the rocks below. Placing my hand on my chin, I examined the tree itself more carefully looking at where I could climb, after a brief moment of examination, I nodded.

"Yes... That could work!" I quickly got up and walked to the foot of the peach tree, I raised my head towards its top. Doubt suddenly came over me.

Should I really do it? And... What if that turtle was right? What if I could... I quickly lowered my head to the ground. No! I could never do it! I might as well get it over with now! I moved even closer to the tree, I removed my left arm from its splint because where I was about to go, I would not need it anymore.

I started to stretch my arms as high as possible, the pain resurfaced, it was less sharp than the previous days, but it was still extremely unpleasant, it felt like needles going into my entire upper back. Gritting my teeth, I began my ascent to the top. Placing my feet on one of the knots and various asperities of the bark, I pulled myself up little by little; when I reached the halfway point of my ascent I looked down and saw that I was already five meters high, this tree was much bigger than I had imagined. I remained frozen for a few minutes on the spot, the doubt insinuated itself in me. Many voices inside me were telling me not to do anything, not to try anything crazy, to listen to the words of the turtle, that she was right, that I was going to manage to adapt. My eyes were frozen, was I really going to do it? The answer was not long in coming.

"YES, I have to do it!" I continued my ascent, faster and more determined than ever.

"I'm nothing left! What's the point of continuing to fight? " Why does it have to end like this? Why didn't Dubois listen to me? Many other guilty questions hit my mind, I felt partly responsible for what happened... Justice must be done, for all those who died is justice, my gaze focused upwards. I was almost at the end of my 'journey', the leaves and fruit collided with my head, I made my way through the dense foliage of the tree, there was not much left to climb. I leaned on my feet and pulled myself up, my head went through the dense foliage, I was outside again, a light cool wind blew through my hair, despite my distressed state I found the sensation pleasant, restful. Before, my mind focused on my real goal. Turning my head, I noticed a leafless branch just to my left, surely a dead branch that had not yet fallen. This would be the perfect place to jump, the foliage would not hinder my fall, making it almost certain that I would not escape. I slid my body onto the branch and began to move forward to the end. My body slid gently over the dead wood, I didn't want to risk breaking it when I hadn't yet reached the end. Once I arrived at its end, I remained seated, and I observed the surroundings. The tree on which I was must be the highest of all the forest, a green giant which surely dominates the region for centuries. The sight that offers me a dominant position is magnificent. I see all the forest for several kilometers, tens of thousands of trees of different kinds, mixed with the thousands of green pillars that are the bamboo; all this formed a green carpet in the background, the mountain that I had descended the day before or is it two days ago? It doesn't matter anyway, it won't help me more than that. Continuing my observation, I noticed white smoke escaping from the middle of the forest, the village should be around this position, I was not so far away that it is rather very surprising, the turtle surely brought me closer, but it did not matter to me that I die far from the village or just at its feet. I violently exploded all the air contained in my lungs, before taking a deep breath. I closed my eyes for a moment.

"I have to do this!" I had to do it! Nothing matters to me anymore! I am alone, I am nothing... I... I am nothing. The tear that had formed began to slowly trickle down my cheek before falling from the top of the tree to the ground. A thought came back to make me doubt, what if... what if the turtle was right if I was able to live in this world? My reason violently refused this idea, how was it possible for me to adapt to such a world? Nothing is human, there are none... I am the last one! I opened my eyes again, stood up on the branch. I looked down at the ground and my head started to turn slightly. I was not afraid of heights, but it is always impressive to look up. I breathed out and in, repeating the procedure countless times.

"I have to do this..."

"I'm going to do it!"

Are the only things in my mind. My right foot jerked up, I had planned everything, I had accepted my fate, but I was terrified to finish it once and for all. But before I could take the plunge, a huge plume of black smoke escaped from the village, eclipsing the white smoke.

"What the hell is..." A strong explosion followed, the blast of the explosion blew the top of all the trees of the forest, before coming to project itself on me, making me vacillate on my foot which had remained on the branch, my arms built in all the directions such of propeller of plane to preserve my precarious balance, all that with was made in vain. I stumbled, falling backwards through the foliage of the peach tree, I let out a slight yell of surprise before seeing the top move away from me, the fall only lasted a few seconds, my back hit the ground hard, and I bounced slightly in the air, before falling back onto the grass and starting to roll over, going down the small hill to the bottom. Once my body was completely still, I groaned in pain, it was... horrible! There was no place where I didn't feel some kind of pain, every single muscle, every single bone in my body hurt like hell. As if I had been beaten for hours with a sledgehammer. I got up with great difficulty, I could hardly move my limbs. Getting back on my two feet, I held my back with my right hand, moaning and cursing.

"My back...ooh! My back!" were the only words I could manage to utter. I staggered to the right also limping with my right leg. How could I survive such a fall? Anger rose in me.

"I almost made the biggest mistake of my life! No one can survive that, I was lucky in a way I might not be again. The turtle was right, I let my feelings and negative thoughts take over, and it almost cost me everything. I was in a bad state, and it is not impossible that I have broken bones.

What should I do now? The scene replayed in my mind, that smoke, that explosion? All this happened in the place where the village was, and if they needed help? I turned my head sharply.

"No! I'm sure everything is fine there! And even if they need help, I won't bring it to them." Shame came over me, I now had a guilty conscience. They are only animals, but... But these animals as I think they have a life, a job, a... a family. My mind froze at the thought, they had a family, like we humans have... well we had one, like... I had a family. I froze in my thoughts, should I go see? See if they need help? A pain went through my body, I bent over and started to whimper, in this case it was me who needed help the most.

"What if the village is in a position to provide me with help? But, my people..." This thought broke me further, should I wipe out my past? My people? When I am partly responsible for what happened! If I had directly cancelled the project, instead of going to see Dubois, I would still be in my world! How could I forget such a thing? What if... An idea suddenly came into my mind, hope slowly resurfacing. What if other members of my people were also thrown into this world? This thought lit up my heart in a joyful way. Gently rising to my feet, I exclaimed.

"I may not be the last human after all!" I had to be certain that I am not the last one! I must find my fellow human beings to reunite them, to reform humanity again. And if I'm the last one, well, maybe I would have managed to get used to this unknown world, so that I could continue my life, alone. Walking towards the small pond, I positioned myself next to it and sat down on the grass.

As the day before, I started to check the rest of my body, limb by limb, zone by zone. In view of the fall I had just made, I had to have at least one dislocated limb, so I tapped gently to avoid aggravating the injury or injuries. I noticed with amazement that I was not injured more, some bruises and contusions, but nothing more serious than my bullet wound, besides. I placed my right hand on my shoulder and began to check my wound, probing the bruised area I realized with great relief that my fall had not aggravated it by reopening it, but there was something else, a strange texture had formed around the wound, continuing my inspection, I felt like small needles were sinking into my shoulder, it was not very painful, but extremely unpleasant. Passing my finger over the unknown material, I removed some of it and brought it to my eyes. Observing it carefully, I saw that it had a strange texture of yellow urine color, no? I realized that I was now in a critical situation. Quickly wiping my finger on the fresh grass, I carefully removed all the substance.

"I have an Infection... I have an infection!" If I didn't intervene quickly, it would be over for me! Ironically, I had tried to end it not even five minutes ago, and now I didn't want to die. My fist tightened, my teeth clenched, I needed to focus.

"I need to care urgently, I have to go to the village!" Approaching a little closer to the surface of the water, I saw my reflection through it, my face was completely bruised, I had large black circles under my eyes, many cuts and scars ran across my face, some had healed well, others were slightly infected. My brown eyes roamed the entire surface of the water before my hands plunged in, spraying water on my face multiple times, the pain in my left shoulder made me clench my teeth. Removing the excess water from my face with my right hand, I stood up to face the forest. Fear seized me, should I go? I was terrified, but I must go not only for myself, but for my people. This thought invigorated my mind and gave me the motivation to temporarily remove my fears, I quickly got on my two feet and began to walk to where I had seen the mysterious black smoke. I crossed the dense bamboo forest, slipping between the rigid stems. I was like the last time, plunged into the darkness. I went straight ahead to be sure not to turn in circles, I made my right arm go up and down, opening the way like a machete. It took me only a few moments to reach the exit, the light slowly resurfaced, before I was totally dazzled by the sun that was passing through a small opening in the top of the forest, I set off walking with a slow but determined step towards what I assumed was the exact position of the village. That smoke and explosion was really strange, I have never seen anything like it. After all, I have never worked with weapons, I hate unnecessary violence, and I have never fought in my life. Rather ironic for a twenty-seven-year-old man. I continued my advance, hobbling on my right leg, the stabbing pain still running through my body. I discovered a dirt path that made it easier for me to advance. I suddenly came across familiar elements, I looked around with a surprised look, before exclaiming.

"Is this the path I took two days ago?" The good thing is that the village will not be difficult to find. I decided to move forward carefully, I didn't know how the villagers would react to my presence again, n'y if the explosion was a sign of a possible attack. With slow, cautious steps, I walked along the dirt road, watching carefully for any suspicious movement. Not paying attention to the ground, I stumbled on something hard, but also strangely soft, a metallic sound echoed softly. Regaining my balance, I turned around and looked at the ground to see the body of a... what is it? I approached the inert body cautiously, my hands landed on it, it was still warm, I pulled it towards me. His body tilted, I recoiled in terror when I saw his face... He was completely shredded, his blue eyes wide open watching me in spite of themselves. The nausea began to rise in my esophagus, burning it lightly. I stepped back even more to regain my senses.

"Calm down Julian, it's just a dead animal, you've already seen thousands of them" My gaze turned back to the corpse, only to feel nausea again, my body bent in two, my hand fell on my mouth, a new gastric reflux arose, I controlled the pressure so as not to vomit. After some spitting, I regained control of the situation, I could observe with a little more attention the body of this poor creature, it had the hand or the paw tightened on a curved sword, it was not even stained with blood, so that would mean that it did not have the time to not serve, on the guard a small piece of red fabric in the shape of curtain tassel flew in the wind.

Looking up, I could see that he was wearing steel colored armor with a white colored symbol drawn on the breastplate. It looked like a swan holding a twig in its beak, the wings were spread out and created a perfect sphere. As my vision grew accustomed to the horror, I lowered myself onto him and began to look intently at his face. My hands began to quickly run over his coat, in the somewhat futile hope that he or she was alive, my hand quickly stopped.

"He got his throat slit! " Sliced cleanly, the one where whoever did this to him looked extremely dangerous. My gaze fixed in the fox's lifeless eyes, what was I to do? Leave his corpse to rot there and walk away? Offer him a last tribute? But aren't they just animals? Do they need it? Sighing in frustration, my hand goes to the poor guy's eyes, before I start to say something.

"I don't know you and I don't know what you believe in, so I'll just say, rest in peace. "Then two of my fingers on my right hand closed his eyes, now giving the impression that he was in deep sleep. I also folded both of his hands over his stomach, his sword resting against his chest, the blade pointed at his feet. Looking at him for a moment, a question struck my mind.

"Did I just give this animal a funeral?" I rose from my seated position, largely surprised at myself, but I simply could not leave him like that without at least making a gesture of honor. Looking around now, I scanned the surroundings. The body is still warm, so it hasn't been long since he died, the ones who did this must be present, they must have attacked the village, hence the explosion. A decision had to be made.

"Should I go even though I know there is potential danger?"

My mind was telling me not to try anything stupid, to leave, to go back to the clearing where I would be safe. Lowering my gaze to the ground, but I would be sure to die of an Infection if I didn't heal quickly. I was completely lost, I couldn't make a decision. Shouts from behind me woke me up from my stupor. I turned and started to move forward, maybe he needed help, if I was careful maybe I could try something to help him.

I began to approach the village, dozens of soldier's bodies littered the ground, some were faced down, others had their bodies laid against a tree. There were different species, Goose, Fox, Wolf and even a kind of buffalo. A shock of fright ran through my body, I quickly ducked into the brush, I could see the buildings I had seen intact now in ruins, totally burned, small gray flakes twirling in the air, a cloud of ash filled the air and my lungs. I placed my arm over my mouth, to avoid intoxicating myself. Unknown animals in black armor appeared, they must have been about one meter sixty, their dark metal helmet looking like a dog's skull. I observed them attentively, and it seemed that they were carrying out some kind of patrol. They stopped abruptly, raising their sort of crossbows to the right.

"Kʌrtælu:! Nu:le epæ!" They shouted, a sheep came out of the bushes with his hands in the air. He wears a red… wait a minute ? Isn't the sheep I saw two days ago ? The soldier on the right moved towards him, his colleague continued to aim at the sheep, which seemed terrified. Once close enough, he raised his crossbow in the air giving a violent blow of the butt on the skull of this poor sheep, making it collapse on the ground, before he took it by its clothing, lifting it to some centimeters of the ground.

"Læt lʌrtʌr kɪ mætɪ ɔː Kɑːrdɪnæl!" They turned around and went back to the center of the village, which was out of my line of sight. I was totally stunned, who were they? This language is totally strange, I had never heard anything like this before. Curiosity overcame reason, and I walked slowly through the bushes taking care not to make any noise, after a short while I had a decent view again, while being safe. The village was totally destroyed, worse than I thought, none of the buildings were still standing and some were still burning, flames crackling in the air. All the villagers were gathered in the center of the village, there must have been about twenty of them, huddling together and reassuring each other. Dozens of creatures as armed and armored as the soldiers I had seen earlier, surrounded their prisoners. Somes were chatting with each other, others were much more serious, carefully observing their surroundings and constantly checking their weapons. The two guards carrying the sheep advanced towards the center of the village, before throwing it on the ground, it fell at the feet of what would appear to be their leader. He was taller than the others, I would say maybe a head or two taller, his armor instead of being totally black had red inlays creating designs that I couldn't make out. A red lotus flower was painted on his breastplate, a cloak on his right shoulder went down to his knees, it was red with a black design in the center. I tried to decipher the symbol, but the folds of the cloak prevented me from seeing it in detail. Raising my gaze, I finally observed his face, he was not wearing a helmet unlike the others, he had the black corridor coat and feline features drawn on his face... A panther!

"Oh, no! A predator!" If he smells me I end up in pieces! I have to turn back now! But before I can do anything. The sheep's cries suddenly split the air.

"Mercy! Don't hurt me, I surrender!"

Raising my head, I continued to observe the scene. The feline looked down at him for a moment before looking back at the two guards.

"Mʌrtæ!" At his words, the two soldiers stood at attention. Before one of them spoke up.

"De vɪmu: es lædu:, Kɑːrdɪnæl!" Their leader's gaze dropped to the sheep, before moving to the group of prisoners. He placed both arms behind his back, linking them together.

"Ti:! U:ne dezæ la: ! Vu:na:t de mæneskæ!" Both soldiers nodded and said in a coordinated manner.

"Di Kɑːrdɪnæl!" They grabbed the sheep and threw it into the middle of the group of prisoners. They then joined the group of guards, the leader walked slowly to the right to speak with another of his subordinates. I think I've seen enough, I can't do anything for now. I slowly started to leave the place before I heard screams.

"Tə Jelaɪʌn ʌn de Væni:næ!" The soldiers moved into position in front of me, pointing their crossbows at the bushes, my body petrified with fright. How had they realized that I was there? What should I do, stay huddled in the bushes hoping they would never find me or should I run away? My body started to shake, I thought about that poor fox I had met, I should have left while I could! The leader quickly stepped forward, standing by his men, raising his paw in the air.

"Ærteɪ declu:b3:!" Okay this doesn't smell right. My body began to move a little faster, making the decision on its own that it was better to run. I quickly emerged from the brush, hoping they wouldn't have time to open fire on me, I began my run through the forest.

"Fə !" Sounds of arrow impacts landing on the grass and tree bark, commands I couldn't hear were bellowed behind me, I didn't turn back for fear of wasting precious time. Running as fast as my body could take it, I zigzagged from tree to tree, the only sign that he was still chasing me was the impact of arrows. My body quickly ran out of steam, not being a great athlete will surely cost me my life. I leapt over a collapsed tree stump, my legs buckled from the shock and my whole body collapsed to the ground. I got up as best I could, I can't go on like this forever. Turning around, I could see that the stump was totally rotten and offered me a small hole in which I could hide. Quickly crawling in, I slipped head first into it, once positioned inside, I slowly turned around, so I could observe the outside.

"Please, don't let them find me! Please !" My breath was getting ragged, I'm having a panic attack! I began to try to calm myself down, breathing in and out slowly through my mouth. Footsteps and shouting broke the silence.

"Mæ la:rt kʌn!" Shadows sprang up in front of me, startling me. They searched around, muttering incomprehensible words. The darkness my hole offered, allowed me to remain hidden from their stalking. A new shadow descended from the sky, a heavy and metallic noise resounded, the chief straightened up, his cape floated in the air before returning to his shoulder, he kept his stature, his presence. He is only a few meters away from me, if I make the slightest noise it's over. I could see in detail the symbol embroidered on his cloak. It looks like four interlaced circles that form a square if drawn on the whole periphery, one of the circles that was on the left was white, unlike its neighbors who are black color.

The feline turned around, observing the surroundings very carefully, his piercing green eyes suddenly fell on me, my body and mind froze. He slowly turned around and was now facing me. I was about to scream, but my trembling hand was placed over my mouth, tears began to form. It's over, I'm dead! But one of the soldiers rushed towards him breathlessly.

"Kɑːrdɪnæl! Kɑːrdɪnæl!" He turned, placing his hands behind his back.

"Mʌrtæ!" The soldier stopped, stood at attention.

"De fæfe, Kɑːrdɪnæl!" The feline left his superior stature, lowering himself toward the soldier.

"Wʌr?..." His gaze turned back to me, before leaving on the soldier in front of him, "...U:ne dezæ la: næte!" They regrouped and quickly left the scene, running quickly through the forest, but just before leaving the feline took one last look at my hole, a smile was visible on his face. He ran quickly, disappearing through the brush. Tons of questions ran through my mind. Who were they? What did they want? Had they just found me? Why didn't he capture me? Is this an evil trap whose one and only purpose is to get me out of my hole? I didn't know what to do. To stay quietly in my hole, or to get out. My hand left my mouth, which had remained fixed during the whole scene. After many minutes, I finally got out, crawling with difficulty on the ground, before kneeling down and bursting into tears. Several days of pain, of physical and psychic suffering had finally caught up with me. My fists clenched, anger began to boil.

"Since I've been here, I keep getting abused! And now I'm hunted like a beast by beasts!ss" I straightened up on my knees, the anger too much for me to contain any further. Head raised to the sky, I began to scream with all my might, tearing through the heavy silence of the forest. My chest collapsed to the ground, all I wanted was for this nightmare to end, whether I woke up in my bed or at my desk. I slowly came to my senses, standing up on my two feet, my hair was totally shaggy, I ran my right hand through to comb it back.

"OK!" I breathed out for a long time." It feels good to let go a little, come on, we have to focus now!" I was about to start walking again when noises through the foliage stretched my body. Oh my gosh! So I would never be at peace! This time, no running away! My torso lowered forward, giving a menacing look despite being badly wounded.

"Show yourself! I know you're there! " The noises suddenly stopped, my torso straightened up, satisfied with the established silence.

"Well I guess..." But before I could finish my sentence, four shadows emerged from the bushes, before positioning themselves around me. I was frozen in place, I looked at each of the animals facing me, a black and white wader with a wooden braided hat was just in front of me, on my left a kind of snake with... a pink flower? More comical than threatening, on my right a brown monkey was in an attack position, I turned to look behind me, but I saw nothing... Where was the fourth? My eyes went down to the ground, to see a kind of green cockroach standing up. So these are my attackers? They are not very threatening, and they are not even armed! Even wounded, I'm sure I can give them a beating! I would just have to be careful with the snake, to avoid it biting me. Giving no indication of my intentions, I quickly slid towards the stilt walker, punching him with my right arm on his chest, which he quickly dodged. With his paw he grabbed my arm and threw me on the ground, I grunted in pain.

I can't let myself be taken so easily! I jumped from my position this time to attack the monkey, my arm went up in the air to hit him, but before I could reach him a green lightning hit me on the left throwing me back on the ground. I winced, my vision became slightly wet, I put my hand over my eyes to remove the excess moisture, turning my head to the right, I could see that it was the snake that hit me. A laugh was heard in the group, the green cockroach was laughing out loud.

"So THAT is the great scarlet demon!" The monkey laughed as well, the other two were much more concentrated, they seemed concerned. The Scarlet Demon? So they think I'm a spirit or something, and they look apprehensive and if I... A sadistic grin spreads across my face, if this works, it will be the hit of the century. I stood up on my legs, the pain was deep, intense, it's a miracle I can still stand. My hand slipped into my blouse, and I hoped that the fall I had just taken wouldn't break it. I then thought about my speech, it must be convincing if I want to push them to express themselves, they suddenly put themselves in a defensive position, clearing my throat I began my comedy.

"Poor fools! I am the... uh, the Great Scarlet Demon!" I started to laugh in a Machiavellian way and I must admit that; laughing for fake and more difficult than it seems. Staring at them, I waited for them to react, to express themselves, but nothing came, so I decided to show them my 'magic box'. I took my dictaphone out of my pocket, raising my arm in the air to attract their attention.

"You don't know the power of the dark side!" I was laughing my ass off. The funny thing was that they were going to take me seriously; but I had to keep my seriousness if I wanted to be convincing.

My finger slipped over the record button, all I had to do was wait patiently for one of them to finally speak, and it didn't take me long, the snake spoke first.

"What are we doing?" A toothy grin appeared on my face, I had recorded the entire conversation, I began to proclaim

"Look at my real power!" My finger pressed the play button, it's now or never!

"What are we doing?" Their eyes suddenly narrowed, they took a step back, the monkey said with terror.

"What is this magic? How did it steal your voice, Viper?" Again I had recorded everything, taking a step forward I played the audio tape again.

"What is this magic? How did it steal your voice, Viper?" They were even more startled. I lowered my arm, toward the ground. I raised my chest, and addressed them with a superior air.

"If you try anything against me, you..." I thought of something strong and impactful enough for them to let me go, then pointed at them "...You will be petrified on the spot, leaving only lifeless, inert statues!" I took a few steps backwards, they didn't move an inch, my bluff had worked beyond my expectations. I continued to move backwards before I heard a kind of growl, I turned around slowly, to now face a tiger dressed in a yellow ocher garment with red embroidery that represented a kind of plant. He was standing straight in front of me, looking threatening, with his lips rolled up, showing me the extent of his teeth. Suddenly, terror took over my whole body, I began to tremble uncontrollably. Oh, no! Not this! Everything, but not that! He abruptly broke his upright position into an attack position. A female voice came from his mouth.

"What did you do to them?" An intense growl was heard.

"I...don't..." I couldn't answer anything coherently, a little voice in my head suddenly said 'run'. My body pivoted quickly and began my run to this, I leapt over the ferns, my eyes turned back, I could see yellow lightning bolts leaping from tree to tree, I groaned in terror.

"Shit! Shit!" So this is how it's going to end! Devour like prey? A small chasm appeared before me.

"Maybe if I run fast, I can cross it." I ran as fast as I could, my leg was hurting horribly. I jumped to the bottom of the chasm, hoping to reach the other side, after a few moments in the air my body hit the edge, my left hand barely caught a root, my wound in my back tore, I screamed in pain, my other hand dropped my dictaphone, and it fell to the ground. My body was now hanging in the air, I looked down, it must have been five meters high. Refocusing my vision, I suddenly noticed a yellow lightning bolt falling from the sky, the tiger looked at me, anger was clearly visible on his face.

"Please don't eat me!" The anger gave way to confusion, a cracking sound diverted my gaze, the root was about to give way.

"Oh, no..." The root tore into my hand, my body fell into the void, the last vision I had was a cloudless blue sky, my back violently hit the rocks below, darkness descended upon me. Death, I hope...

Now the surprise. It's not a professional job, but I tried to make something clean. I made small concept art of one of my future antagonist available on my deviantart at n0xymilien (don't forget the 0 instead of the o is important)There will be others in the future, like symbols, important characters and I will try to make scenery...

But who is this mysterious panther warrior?

Why didn't he capture Julian?

You won't have the answer so soon, hehehehe... Another big chapter isn't it, the next ones will be less heavy. And little information about the unknown language, I used phonetics, so it's normal all this is weird and strange character, I find that it adds a mysterious side which is not unpleasant (And I made sure that it is translatable. If you can understand the context and extrapolate, you can partly translate the text). See you next week for new adventures, always further, always higher, always stronger. This is Noxymilien, end of transmission.
