Now that Sen had come to his senses and his parents had calmed down, he was allowed to continue fighting without any issues. Winning the tournament was easy enough and the mortal ruler, Fukai, frowned slightly once all of that money was handed to the pup to take back to his mother as his token of victory. He knew he shouldn't look the way he did, considering the fact that angel's son had won all of the earnings fair and square; yet before he actually did walk away, the deity of lightning looked towards him with a soft smile as he spoke, "I wouldn't worry so much, lord Fukai. My mother will probably send it to Kageka with a password to fully replenish the funds so that your portion of the kingdom will no longer suffer."

Once he returned to his mother and handed her the money, Kagome stared at the massive amount of money that could be added into their kingdom's vault, but it didn't feel right to take it in the slightest since the kingdom of Elysian still held so much money that she honestly didn't think that it would matter if she did or did not bring it home due to the vast amounts of riches that they still held in the first place. The fact that they had so much money, they still had no idea what to do with it all other than give those funds away to those in dire need of hope being restored to not only their homeland, but to their fragile hearts and souls as well. With that in mind, the leading maiden of light knew exactly what she now wanted to do.

Peering his sky blue orbs towards his mother, all Sen could do was softly chuckle before placing a single hand on his hip as he spoke tenderly, "Do what you believe to be the correct choice to make, mother." Glancing at her son and smiling brightly due to the fact that he understood her line of thinking, Kagome then walked towards a table and swiftly wrote down a letter to Jaken. With that completed, Kagome then wrote that the funds she sent for her twins were to go into the same vault with the same password as before so that the kingdom funds were almost immediately refueled once again. However, the angelic lass also gave a strict rule that Izayoi was to NEVER be given ANY of the funds even if she found out the password.

If InuTaisho were to figure out the password that she had made for her pups and withdrew any funds, then the imp demon was to follow the lord of the lands to see as to where that money was actually being used for. If he found out that these given funds were to go to Izayoi for something that she wished to purchase, then he was to immediately return those funds back to the vault... no matter what the great dog demon were to say or do. Blowing her bangs upward, Kagome then added in a list of rules so that Jaken could post it up by the doors of the vault for the dummy ruler to READ and FOLLOW. Releasing a gentle breath, the angel then added in one last thing that told him that he was welcome in Elysian anytime.

Rolling the documents up after signing it, Kagome then placed a sparkling white ribbon around both up, which would basically tell him that this was coming from Elysian's ruler. Pressing her pointer finger to her forehead and sensing the little imp, Kagome then teleported all three items, only to snicker over imagining as to how Jaken had probably just fallen to the ground from the amount sent to him. Once he retrieved the documents and money, he DID fall from the weight. The imp hastily placed all money into the vault, gave the soldiers and servants their LONG overdue pay, and posted up the rules that HAD to be followed no matter what. In Jaken's eyes, what Kagome said and ordered was law due to how well Elysian prospered.

Hearing the calling for the star gazing, the two leading rulers and Sen sat down in a field. Right then, Sesshomaru and Ikari then approached and sat down with the three; making the angelic mother smile softly before speaking, "Pups, I need for you two and your father to come to Elysian after this is over. Do you have any issues with that?" After how Sen had spoke of the kingdom of the Celestials, they were WANTING to see it; so naturally, both shook their head and smiled as they spoke, "There will be no issues in the slightest. However..." Hearing the twins pause, Kagome peered towards her boys as Ikari chuckled, "Well, if we place an everlasting spell over the lands that we are supposed to govern, we can live with you."

She really wished it could be that way... she really did. Just as the angelic mother was about to speak, Midoriko popped out and smiled, "That seems like a wonderful idea! Remember, this is not your first life any longer my daughter. So, as you used to tell me, STOP PLAYING BY THE RULES AND THINK FOR YOURSELF! I believe... that those words you once spoke to me were the just about the wisest words you had ever uttered. So, my daughter, stop playing by the rules and think for yourself. Tell me, what does your heart tell you... and more importantly, what are you wishing for...?" Not once in her life had she ever made a wish, but tears began to stream down her face as she proclaimed, "I want my pups to be close to me!"

Smiling at her daughter, Midoriko nodded, "I believe that Ikari made a valid point in his suggestion and statement. You are more than capable of placing everlasting spells over the domains. Think about it... you've been doing it this entire time with your barrier that rejects all forms of ill-intent while also keeping those inside of the barrier... pure of heart, soul, and thoughts." Well, now she felt like an idiot. Kagome released a soft chuckle and nodded to her pups, "Very well, my pups. Go now and place your everlasting spells to balance mother nature out and meet us right outside of the barrier so that we can all go home... together." The twins hastily stood and darted off to collect their things so that they could FINALLY go home.

Sesshomaru left, but Ikari stopped beside his father and placed his own hand on his dork of a father's shoulder, making him peer back before speaking, "Yes Ikari?" Smiling softly, Ikari then spoke in a relaxed tone due to Izayoi not being around, "Mother wishes for all of us, including you, to come to Elysian right after the festival. Sesshomaru and myself are going to our respective domains of rule right now to place everlasting spells over those domains so that we can live in Elysian with mother, Sen, and Shinto. We have already made the three of the four pillars of demon lords aware of our plan and I have already sent word to Inuyasha via my wind. Izayoi is not permitted access... that's still non-negotiable. Well, see ya!"

The lord of shadows couldn't get a word in edgewise to his pup before he spread his wings and bolted off to those domains. He was supposed to go to the lands he named so long ago... and still feel welcomed after everything that he had done? InuTaisho wasn't so sure that he could actually pull that off without feeling that heavy weight of guilt resting upon his shoulders. Everything, as Kagome rightfully stated it, was his fault entirely from start to finish. Well, he had been summoned to Elysian by the leading maiden of light... so who was he to deny that request...? He had no say in the matters at all. Hearing Izayoi's beyond frustrated tone, InuTaisho turned his head as the maiden of earth furiously sat down with a clear scowl.

At this point in time, he wasn't sure if he should ask. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. However, before he could even ASK as to what was wrong, she straight up blurted out, "THAT BITCH PUT A PASSCODE ON ALL OF OUR MONEY!" Blinking rapidly at this, a small bolt of lightning with a letter then appeared in his hands. Blinking rapidly, InuTaisho then unrolled the letter to see Jaken's handwriting claiming that Kagome had fully replenished all lost money and Izayoi was to never be given access to any of the funds no matter how hard she tried. Smiling softly at the letter, the lord of shadows then chuckled out, "Maybe it's for the best. Our lands were suffering... and as eternal rulers, that's completely unacceptable."

Izayoi could only scowl deeply at this statement made while yelling, "WHO IS SHE TO EVEN DO THIS TO US!? I'LL BET SHE'S DRAINING ALL OF OUR RICHES!" Without even knowing, Kagome now stood behind the two with widened eyes the moment InuTaisho gave a gentle chuckle, "Draining our funds you say... She fully replenished our dwindling funds. The soldiers, guards, bodyguards, maids, and servants have FINALLY gained a large pay to make up for everything that you have wrongfully taken from them! Most of those that I spoke of have FAMILIES that have been going for long periods of times without a single scrap of food to place on the table, whilst you have been buying too MUCH food and pointless decorations!"

At this point in time, he was FURIOUS with himself for letting things get THIS out of hand as he stood up and snapped his head towards the leech while angrily barking out, "MY LANDS AND PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN SUFFER BECAUSE OF YOUR IMPULSIVE ACTIONS OF SPENDING FAR MORE THAN YOU DESERVE!" Kagome now watched... as tears began to slide down this strong willed man's face, "You take and take until nothing is left... even when the people have nothing left to give you. However, I am no better. I did NOTHING to ease their suffering hearts and empty bellies, nor did I stop you from such selfish motives. Due to my "belief" of a fabricated strong love... I ignorantly ignored their cries for help like a selfish child."

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING INUTAISHO!? I HAVE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING-" Izayoi started before cutted off by this man that was yelling furiously as he broke down into tears, "YOU HAVE GIVEN ME NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! YOUR FALSE CLAIMS OF LOVE WERE THE ONLY THINGS THAT I HAD TO HOLD ONTO! I WAS HANGING BY A THREAD AND DRAGGED THROUGH THE MUD BY YOU! I WAS SUCH A FOOL TO HAVE LEFT THE ONE PERSON THAT LOVED ME UNCONDITIONALLY AND NOT ONCE... NOT ONCE DID SHE EVER ASK ME FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN SHE TRULY BELIEVED THAT SHE DESERVED! SHE WAS NEVER UNREASONABLE AND ALL SHE ASKED FOR IN RETURN WAS MY UNREQUITED LOVE AND A SMILE!"

'H-He understands now, but can I trust him again...? I-I don't think that I can...' Kagome silently thought to herself as silver locks violently thrashed back and forth the moment he fell to his knees and slammed his fist repeatedly against the ground. The moment the skin on his hands broke and blood began to rush down, he yelled one last thing, "SHE MEANT EVERYTHING TO ME! SHE WAS MY WHOLE WORLD!" Darting forward, Kagome slammed to her knees and wrapped her dainty arms around such a strong neck. Not even thinking of sensing as to who this was, he yelled, "GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU EVIL WITCH!" - "Toga... it's time to go..." Kagome's tender, but saddened, tone released softly and almost shakily.

Golden orbs shot open before he slowly tilted his head up peer into those sky blue orbs that appeared so miserable. Tears filled those beautiful orbs before escaping onto her cheek, causing for him to lift his hands to cup her cheeks that her distrusting form almost instantly jolted away from so that he couldn't touch her too intimately to show her that he was being genuine. At this point in time, she was far too terrified to get to close to him as if at any given moment... she would be betrayed once again by someone she loved with all of her heart. This action made the maiden of earth scoff, "Do you see and understand NOW InuTaisho!? She will forever be too scared to let you in! Your sins are far too great for her to forgive!"

At that moment that Kagome yanked away from his attempts of a gentle touch to brush her tears away, those sparkling golden orbs became dull... yet he smiled sadly as his hands shakily, but slowly, dropped to his side as his head tilted down so that his eyes could no longer be witnessed, "I know my sins far better than you ever will... so, I do not blame her for fearing to let me back inside of her bright and loving world in the slightest..." Standing, Kagome then peered at Izayoi, "Maiden of earth... you must return to the domains in the west as the other deities hold a conference. It will probably be one full moon cycle before Toga returns back to Kageka. I do ask for you to be patient and take care, for we must leave now."

Landing far outside of the barrier that lead to Elysian's realm, Kagome noticed all of the other deities now present... minus the maiden of love and earth. Scratch love off of that list. Hinami landed outside of the barrier and rushed to her mother, "Oh my GOSH! MOMMY, ELYSIAN IS WONDERFUL! I have been teaching while you have been gone. All of those with sorrow have had hope restored back into their hearts and everyone now patiently awaits your return!" Laughing softly at her daughter, Sen then picked his elder sister up on his back, "Hiya Hina!" As the little gang began to walk through the barrier, they all noticed that the moment Kagome walked through, the barrier began to shimmer and sparkle happily.

Everyone gawked at how beautiful this place was. Nothing was out of place. More than anything, they first initially noticed a group of lumbermen walking and joking before witnessing the leading maiden of light. All of their smiles grew tenfold as they darted towards her, "LADY KAGOME!" Kagome looked at the muscle bound male Celestials and chuckled, "My! You all look like you are faring quite well! Has the maiden of love been of much help during my absence?" Oh, everyone QUICKLY grew to love little miss Hinami, so they laughed brightly and shook their heads playfully, "Oh, no! CALAMITY BEFELL ELYSIAN THE MOMENT SHE CAME!" The leading maiden of light could only laugh happily before pulling out her coin wallet.

Pulling out ten gold coins for each of the lumbermen, Kagome then held their hands and gave a tender smile, "Keep up the work and please do not strain yourselves too hard." All nodded and peered at the gang she had brought as one of the lumbermen asked, "Leading maiden of light? We know who lord Sen and lady Hinami are, but might we know as to whom the others are? Are they new to Elysian and ready to live in as much joy and tranquility as the rest of us do thanks to all of your efforts?" Blinking rather rapidly and peering back, the leading maiden of light snickered, "Ah, so you are curious... are ya!? Go ahead all of you, introduce yourselves!" Everyone peered curiously at the gang and awaited for introductions.

Shinto stepped forward first with a smile, "My name is Shinto, leading lord of ice." All of their eyes just about popped out of their skulls and hastily knelt, "SIRE, WE WELCOME YOU HOME TO ELYSIAN!" Shinto almost instantly released a burst of chipper laughter and pullet out his own coin wallet before handing five more gold coins to each as he helped them to stand, "Please, I am merely here to support the leading maiden of light. I deserve no such praise." They instantly LOVED Shinto and laughed brightly, "As you wish lord Shinto! Apologies, lady Kagome beat mannerism into us from a very young age!" Why did that not shock the kitten at all? Snickering, Shinto then wrapped his arm around his mate and kissed her cheek.

Ikari then stepped forward and gave a gentle smile as he gave a light bow of respect, "My name is Ikari, lord of wind at your service!" The lumbermen basically spazzed out and gave a deep bow, "L-LORD IKARI, PLEASE DO NOT BOW TO US!" Ikari chuckled softly at this and gave the men five more gold coins, "You work so hard and my mother maintains the peace in Elysian, everyone has a role... so please, we are equals as far as I am concerned." They also LOVED Ikari... however... mother!? All peered towards the leading maiden of light, making her chuckle and point to all of her pups, "Those are all of my pups as well." That made sense and they accepted it rather easily. The next did slightly make them nervous though.

Sesshomaru stepped forward and merely introduced himself blandly, "Sesshomaru, lord of flames." The lumbermen hastily bowed at this nerve wracking male until hearing him yelp, along with a scolding from his mother as she pulled his frame down and roughly pinched his pointed ear, "MANNERS PUP! YOU BETTER START BECOMING MORE LIKE YOUR BROTHER AND LEARN HOW TO SMILE!" Grumbling softly, he then huffed, "Yes mother, I understand." His attempt at smiling had the angelic mother terrified, "NEVERMIND, PLEASE DON'T SMILE! THAT'S EVEN SCARIER!" Gaining a dry face at that comment of all things, he then lifted his mother and began to tickle her. Once her laughter rang out, a genuine smile came out.

Inuyasha then snickered at his eldest brother before grinning, "What's up! Name's Inuyasha, lord of water. Don't bow please! It weirds me out!" That had the lumbermen laughing hysterically until they glanced at the last remaining person curiously. InuTaisho took a step forward and gave a gentle smile as he spoke, "Inu-" Kagome swiftly cut that off, "Toga..." Cringing at his real name internally, he then gave up that fight pretty damn quick as he released a breathy chuckle, "Oh dammit all to hell... Toga, lord of shadows." Although they knew the legends, all of the lumbermen bowed and their voices projected almost sadly, "Sire... we welcome thee back home to Elysian..." Well, that felt like a knife to the heart.

Kagome then bounced forward barefoot so that she was now heading towards Elysian, but she did give a bright smile and wave happily while calling out, "Alrighty boys, back to work! It's going to take forever to get through the WHOLE kingdom, if ya catch my drift!" All laughed and nodded, "We hope to see you soon, leading maiden of light!" Nodding her head brightly with Sen right on her heels while carrying Hinami on his back, Kagome then called out, "Oh definitely! Buh-bye!" Ikari blinked rapidly as he quickened his pace to match his mother's, "Wow, you weren't kidding! Everyone here IS always smiling and constantly bright! Mother, this is WONDERFUL!" Shinto then nodded, "This place is absolutely beautiful mate!"

Ah, yes... it was taking forever to get anywhere NEAR Elysian and the palace. Once they hit a certain spot, Kagome smiled, "We are now in the capital of Elysian! Oh dear... incoming..." All were about to question as to what in the hell she had meant by that until a particular door of a rather large building rammed open and Celestial and Demon children darted out to tackle the angelic ruler, "LADY KAGOME, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" - "YEAH! YOU'VE BEEN GONE FOR SEVEN WHOLE DAYS!" All whined and scolded as her twin then walked out of the schoolhouse while chuckling brightly, "Oh, I was WONDERING as to WHY all of the pups were so fidgety and darted out without class being dismissed! Welcome back home!"

Hearing what her twin had just said about them leaving without being properly dismissed, Kagome gave a disappointed face before beginning to shake a scolding finger at all of the pups, "Now what have I taught you all about manners!? Honestly, when I come back as your teacher tomorrow, I better have some over achievers with their schoolwork or else... THAT will happen!" All of the pups instantly ran behind Kikyo, whom was now sweat dropping to the extreme as the pups yelled frantically, "NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT!" Shinto was now curious, so he asked, "What is "THAT"!?" The leading maiden of light snickered while tugging on his pierced kitten ear, "Well, THAT is the fact that they have to make their own lunch!"

Sen then chuckled at the comment before speaking out, "You'd be surprised at how quickly "THAT" gets them to behave. Mother's cooking always puts an extra bright smile on their faces because she is personally making it for them and the fact that it tastes ironically divine." Food... got the rowdy pups to behave. Sen then gave a sweat drop, "Believe me, if her pups don't get their work done... RIKI... they have to make their own meal as well. As we said during the constellation festival, mother treats her students the same as she treats her own pups. They love her and she loves them... plain and simple." All of the students then rushed to the leading maiden of light before claiming, "WE HAVEN'T SLACKED, WE PROMISE!"

Looking towards her twin, Kagome snickered out, "Who gets bragging rights today?" Kikyo then pointed out one of Kagome's brightest little girl students that was... ironically... a white tiger. This made Kagome snicker as she walked forward and pulled out ten silver coins, "Yui! If you keep winning all of the silver coins, your family's going to be RICH!" The angel also knew due to how sharp she was... Yui was bullied quite often. Children's thoughts were consistently changing, so her barrier... no matter how strong it was... never worked on the pups. Looking at all of her other students that were now sour that she had won the prize AGAIN, made Kagome sigh before placing Yui's hand in Shinto's, "Mate, get her home."

Nodding his head and smiling, he then noticed Yui's sparkling gaze as she spoke brightly, "My name is Yui! What might your name be?" Internally chuckling as he let her lead the way, all he could do was smile, "Why, hello Yui! That is quite an adorable name! My name is Shinto, leading lord of ice!" Yui's face was so adorable at that point that it was priceless, "OH WOW! I GOT TO MEET THE LEADING MAIDEN OF LIGHT'S MATE!? IT IS SUCH AN HONOR SIR!" So, it was true, Kagome really did teach them to be super polite afterall. Reaching Yui's home, Shinto knelt down with a soft smile before placing ten extra silver coins in her hands before winking and placing a single finger over his lips playfully, making her cry silently.

"Yui? What happens to be the matter?" Shinto questioned with a deep frown. Yui began to swipe her tears away from her face as she shakily spoke out, "M-My parents are dying and need a lot of medicine. I study extra hard to get the money that the leading maiden of light gives out to the ones that are doing their hardest and best in class! That makes a lot of the others not like me because I'm always getting the reward! The leading maiden of light believes in the natural flow of one's life as I do, but it scares me to be all alone!" Bringing the young girl to his chest that was no older than seven years old, he then spoke, "Hey, don't worry about it... I'll talk to my mate about it, alright? Who knows, maybe you'll become a princess!"

As they waited for the leading lord of ice to return, Kagome scolded the HELL out of her class, "I HAD BETTER NOT SEE ANY OF YOU PICKING ON HER AGAIN! HER PARENTS ARE DYING, SO SHE STUDIES EXTREMELY HARD TO GAIN THOSE COINS TO HELP HER PARENTS LIVE LONGER! SHE IS SCARED OF BEING LEFT ALL ALONE WITH NO ONE TO CALL HER MOMMY AND DADDY IN THE SAME MANNER THAT ALL OF YOU GET TO DO EACH AND EVERY DAY WITHOUT WORRYING THAT IT MIGHT BE THE LAST DAY THAT YOU WILL EVER GET TO SEE THEM! IF HER PARENTS DIE, BELIEVE ME... YOU WILL BE LOOKING AT ROYALTY BECAUSE SHE WILL BECOME MY DAUGHTER! I HAVE TAUGHT ALL OF YOU FAR BETTER THAN THAT!"

Hinami gained an ecstatic face over that comment and squealed, "I FINALLY WON'T BE THE ONLY GIRL!? YES! SISTER YUI WILL BE AN ADORABLE ADDITION TO THE FAMILY!" Sen now felt his damn eardrums rupturing at that point, considering his sister was perched on his back. Cringing, Sen placed his hand over his only sister's mouth, "HINA, TOO DAMN LOUD! ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME GO DEAF!?" Giggling happily and hugging her little-yet taller-younger brother, she then nuzzled her cheek to his, "Oops, sorry Sen-shine!" Hinami was ONE person that he could NEVER stay mad at for long, making him sigh dramatically, "SERIOUSLY HINA!? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE... Ugh, nevermind... it's okay... I forgive you..."

Shinto had heard his mate's claims over Yui's situation and nodded happily as he walked up chuckling, "Well, I'm glad that we are on the same page without even talking about it mate!" Taking his hand, Kagome then waved to her class after introducing everyone to them. Damn she was exhausted after introducing everyone all day due to Sesshomaru's scary ass face that appeared extremely annoyed with introductions by now. Walking up the steps that lead to the palace in Elysian, everyone except Kagome, Sen, and Hinami froze in awe. Suddenly, Riki and Yukio darted out smiling brightly, "MOTHER!" - "F-FATHER!? - "D-DAD!?" The two quickly came to a screeching halt, but bowed, "Welcome home everyone!"

Everyone stood there in awe over the magical appearing palace that's white marble walls began to sparkle brilliantly the moment Kagome got close enough, "You guys plan on sleeping outside? Or do you actually plan on coming in?" Yukio began to push his father and InuTaisho inside as Riki began to push his frozen brothers. Once inside... Sen's favorite part of the castle began to glow brightly, making everyone now understand as to why in the hell this was his favorite part of the castle. He hadn't been kidding... there were so many diamonds in this palace, that it made all others completely dumbfounded at how glamorous this place even was. A young male pup then ran out smiling, "AUNT KAGOME, YOU'RE FINALLY HOME!"

Picking the little boy up, Kagome snickered, "Please tell me that you have been a good pup for your mother, Akihito!" Nodding his head happily, Kagome doted to the extreme. Ironically, this child was about as bright and compassionate as one could get; but he could be just as irresponsible as Riki. Considering Akihito had just nodded, Kagome began to scolding him, "Then WHY weren't you in class!?" Uh, oh... busted! Akihito huffed heavily and folded his arms, "I wanted to be here when you returned home! I just thought you'd be back WAY sooner! I mean, common aunt Kagome! You took FOREVER!" Sweat dropping at this, she then snickered, "Sorry! I was showing off the new deities! Three of which are your cousins!"

The young pup's eyes began sparkling brightly to notice that three looked JUST like Hinami, but... that's how he found his scapegoat, "Cousin Hinami said I could wait for you no matter how long it took!" Hinami then jumped down and walked forward gracefully before pinching the pup's cheek, "I TOTALLY DID NOT SAY SUCH NONSENSE AKIHITO! UGH! Meet my older brothers, Sesshomaru and Ikari, they are twins! Other than that, there is Inuyasha!" Now teasing, Akihito pointed to Sen, "Then who's that!?" Sen gained a dry face before walking forward, "AKIHITO, YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO I AM!" The young pup began to giggle hysterically, considering the fact that Sen was the most fun to tease out of the lot.

Kagome snickered playfully before handing the pup to Sen, "Sen-shine, Akihito, why don't you two give everyone a tour and a room to stay in- minus Shinto. He will be staying in my room." That even made Akihito dumbfounded, "Aunt Kagome, you are giving away your rulers room!?" Pulling her hair into a high ponytail with Riki's help, she then peered over, "Um... no? He's the leading lord of ice." Walking away as a tour was being given, Kagome began to cook dinner... but someone already remembered the palace and leaned beside her while releasing a gentle sigh. Peering over, Kagome smiled softly, "Something bothering you, Toga?" Looking over at the celestial maiden, he slowly looked away and shook his head silently.

"You used to cook all of our meals for us back then too... You claimed that there was no need for cooks if you were fully capable of making all of the meals for your family by yourself," he spoke in a saddened whisper. Kagome could only snicker at that comment as she shrugged, "Old habits die hard, I suppose! You used to stand in here with me so that we had plenty of time spent with one another between the tasks we held as deities. We would talk about some of the most random things." Toga then chuckled at the little ball of angelic sass, "I can STILL remember the day that you held a full blown argument with the ENTIRE castle that you wouldn't hear another word over you cooking for your mate and pups," he spoke with a smile.

Lifting a playful brow, the leading maiden of light wiggled her brows and snickered at him, "Do you remember what I actually said the day they wouldn't let me cook for you guys?" That had the great dog demon barking a laugh before speaking, "Oh hell, how could I FORGET!? You said to them... "HELL NO! I REFUSE TO LET YOU MAKE A GROSS MEAL THAT NEITHER MYSELF, MY MATE, NOR MY PUPS WILL EAT! NOW BEGONE BEFORE YOU PISS ME OFF SO BADLY THAT I END UP HURTING ONE OF YOU OR WORSE!" ... After that day, they never even made the ATTEMPTS to argue with, or stop, you!" Kagome was now laughing pretty damn hard, which many in the castle hadn't heard such a joyous laugh come from her in a long time.

Sen had now finished up his tour with his partner of a mini-tour guide that could explain everything that was in the castle just as well as he actually could. After telling everyone that they could explore until the evening meal and they'd better not be late once the mother angel called out for them to come and eat, he came to a slow stop in the throne room; only for his eyes to widened immensely as he looked at all of the different colored diamonds, only to see the white and black diamonds shining brilliantly. For the longest time... all he could do was stare at those two stones as a gentle and almost loving warmth washed over his entire body. Tears were now filling his sky blue orbs at that point as he watched those two diamonds.

He knew that a lesser shimmer was always let off when some of the other deities were speaking to one another due to the bonds that they held together as current serving supreme deities, but this was on a scale that he had never once seen; considering the fact that the angel wings and halo inside were both now brightly shining like a twinkling star in the night sky. Akihito then noticed Sen before approaching and coming to a wide eyed halt as well, unable to formulate a sentence over what he was now witnessing. For him as well, he had never witnessed ANY of the other stones shining as brightly as the white and black diamonds currently were as of now, but had no idea as to what it even meant in the first place.

Yukio and Riki then walked out, only for the two to notice that their cousin and brother were now FROZEN in place as they stared at the wall. Approaching the two, Riki then noticed his brother was actually silently shedding tears as he stared at the wall. The eldest in the room knew that Sen wasn't one to really cry, nor was he one to really show as to what he was actually feeling on the inside for the world to see. Once Yukio knelt down and witnessed the same thing from his cousin, it forced him to turn his head towards the wall until noticing those two diamonds shining far beyond the point of bright and those deep emotions from a time long since forgotten hit him as well, making tears fill his eyes as he took his cousins hand.

Riki noticed Sen's focused orbs, and no matter how much he tried to gain his younger brother's attention, that gaze would not move. Turning his head towards the wall, that's when he witnessed it as well. Tears quickly filled his eyes over all of the feelings from the prior life of their mother and father. All four were now frozen as Hinami walked out to see her brothers and cousin crying. Rushing forward and noticing their eyes focused in one specific direction, she turned her head towards that wall and her eyes widened. Being the deity of love, Hinami slid to her knees as silent tears began streaming down her face. Inuyasha then walked in and ended up in the same exact position as his two younger brothers, younger sister, and cousin.

Sesshomaru and Ikari then walked in and noticed how many people were crying as they stared intently in one focused spot, only to approach them and try to gain their attention without any luck. Finally coming to a stop behind their brothers, sister, and cousin... both of their eyes widened immensely the very second they noticed those two specific diamonds. For Sesshomaru... openly shedding tears was not something anyone ever witnessed, but since him and Ikari were the oldest... they gained flashbacks of memories concerning their first lives and how much love their parents had once held for one another. Both of the twins were now a silently shedding rivers of misery as Shinto walked in and froze as well over this.

Kagome finally had dinner on the table and walked to the throne room with InuTaisho before seeing them and rushing forward, "PUPS! MATE!" The moment their mother had parted from their father's side, the light died down and all peered towards her... unable to say a word over what they had all just witnessed, felt, or gained memories from. Sesshomaru was crying and that alone had InuTaisho worried to the extreme. Pulling his twins into his arms, the two completely and entirely broke down and fell apart at the seams. Kagome glanced at her two eldest with concern as she held Hinami and Sen as they sobbed, making InuTaisho glance at the angelic mother in a worried, yet confused, fashion, "What happened...?"

Hinami was far beyond the point of just merely being a wreck due to being the deity of love, making Kagome overly worried until she whimpered out, "T-That wasn't for US to see! T-The diamonds recorded your first lives and WE had to see it ALL fall apart again! From the times of love and joy, to the times of hardship, and all the way to the turning point of heartbreak!" Once Sesshomaru collected himself somewhat, he forced the two parents to stay and hold hands as he ushered everyone else out while Sen collected himself just enough to lead everyone to the dining hall with puffy eyes. Kagome peered at InuTaisho as he whispered softly with a tender smile, "I remember the day that you even had this created on the wall."

Tightening her hand around his after lacing her dainty fingers through his masculine paw with a smile, both of their heads almost immediately snapped forward the moment they began to see the brightly shining jewels. Their eyes widened in horror the moment their first lives began to play back for them as if it were some kind of movie to be watched. Dropping InuTaisho's hand, Kagome then darted out of the palace as fast as her legs could possibly carry her. However, InuTaisho was frozen in place as he watched with tears sliding down his face. Just as Kagome had left the palace, the memories began to fade until InuTaisho yelled out remorsefully, "DON'T YOU DARE LET ME EVER FORGET WHAT I'VE DONE! KEEP GOING!"

With the love he felt for this particular angel, his wish was most definitely granted and those visions could only continue from happy times, to the hard times, to the sad times, and through the utmost painful of times. As he stood there alone rewatching all of this pain and suffering, Kagome was as far away as she could possibly get when she realized as to where she had gone. Her eyes widened in horror as she fell to her knees and her trembling hands rose to clasp her face before a pain filled scream was released into the air, "WHY!? WHY DID YOU BRING ME TO THE PLACE THAT I HID MYSELF AWAY FROM THE WORLD!?" Looking inside, she witnessed the antiques that she had once used until she had been found by Shinto.

The moment InuTaisho's nightmare ended, the castle was dead quiet due to it being early in the morning. Darting out of the palace and taking a deep breath of air, the lord of shadows took a shaky step forward due to the fact that he now KNEW where Kagome had disappeared to long ago. Darting, he then opened his wings up and shot high into the sky until landing on a very secluded mountain top with a hidden cave at its peak. Slowly walking forward, he stopped with a miserable face at the mouth of the cave. Taking a single step inside, he felt the weight of the world now being pressed against his shoulders and had to take in a deep and quivering breath in. The more steps he took forward, the less he truly wanted to see.

He had forced her hands to the point that she had not only lost her pups and him, but she lost her very self. Her identity had become shattered fragments inside of this cave and the tears that she had wept... he could hear them vibrating off of the walls and that made his heart ache further. A sorrow of this magnitude that had been contained in one specific small area should have never existed in the first place. Taking a few more steps inside, he then realized with widened eyes; the vibrations of misery he had been hearing were from not only the past, but the present as well, considering that he was now bearing witness to this angel curled up in a ball as she sobbed her heart out for the ground to catch her tears once more.

This corner had most likely been her safe place that she could drown herself in her own misery day after day... after day... without any judgement being passed. Clenching his jaw tightly over such a pain filled sight of such a strong willed woman hiding her face in her knees that she now clutched tightly to her breasts to keep her shattering heart somewhat intact, broke him. He could only imagine as to how many times he had actually PASSED this cave when he had went out searching for her... and never had the common sense to actually go inside OR smell if she had even been hiding herself away. He could only imagine that in honesty... she had been waiting for him to find her and merely say to her, "Come on, let's go home..."

Even imagining all of those YEARS that she had waited for him to even come and APOLOGIZE to let her know that she would forever be loved for who she was, was almost unbearable. Walking forward and kneeling down silently, InuTaisho gingerly took the back of her head and pulled her to his chest while whispering softly, "I was such an idiot to not see how blessed I was and still am to have you in my life. I should have never put you through so much pain and suffering to the point that the gods had to create a new deity so that another had to take my place of tending for your fragile heart and soul. That should have been MY job from the day we initially fell in love... until the day that death robbed one of us from the other."

Hearing his words, the sky eyed angelic lass began to sob against his chest and clutch the back of his kimono tightly. Lowering his head and releasing a shaky breath, InuTaisho looked forward sadly as he managed to speak out, "Tell me anything, or everything, that you wish to say to one as lowly as myself..." Pressing her face closer to his chest as she sobbed, her grip on him tightened as she sobbed out, "I-I HATE YOU! D-DO YOU HEAR ME!?" Stroking her hair lightly and harshly blinking to keep his tears at bay, he then took in a sharp breath as he whimpered, "I-I know you do..." Her form of hate was rather odd, considering she held him as if she might lose him again; making him frown deeply as he spoke softly, "Never again..."

"NEVER AGAIN, WHAT!? NEVER AGAIN WILL YOU CARE ABOUT ME!? NEVER AGAIN WILL YOU COME SEARCHING FOR ME!? NEVER AGAIN WHAT, TOGA!?" Kagome shouted out as her tears stained his kimono. Sighing softly, InuTaisho's golden orbs gained a heavy sorrow as his tears finally began to drip down to land on her face as he spoke, "N-Never again will I put you through such pain and suffering. Go home to our pups, Kagome. To be honest, none of them would give a damn if I died... but you? No... they use you as their life support and guiding light..." Slamming her fists weakly against his chest, the angel yelled out miserably, "WHY!? WHY CAN YOU NEVER SAY THE ONE THING THAT I WISH TO HEAR THE MOST!?"

His tears were now a full blown river of sorrow as he took in a shaky breath, "B-Because... I am unworthy to say such words to you... O-Only he is worthy..." Shaking her head against his chest furiously, all she could do was begin sobbing again, "AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SAY THE WORDS TO!? AM I NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE OF ALL OF YOUR UNDIVIDED LOVE!?" Gritting his teeth harshly, that's when she heard his tone that sobbed out, "YOU ARE WORTH ALL OF THE TROUBLE AND YOU ARE FAR BEYOND THE POINT OF WORTHY OF ALL OF MY LOVE! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND BY NOW THAT IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND!?" Not once had she ever heard this man sob as hard as he currently was, and that sound alone hurt.

Sitting up and wiping her puffy eyes to be as dry as they possibly could be, Kagome then brought his head to her rest upon her chest as the roles now reversed for the two. He held her tightly and laid his head over her heart as he sobbed uncontrollably against her more than bright and loving form. She was far TOO angelic for someone as dark and demonic as him, yet she allowed for him to sob against her chest and get all of his once upon a time highly guarded emotional dam that had slowly cracked over the passage of time, to finally break free and flood out all in one sitting. After an hour and his tears ran dry, InuTaisho sat up and brought her to his chest to whimper out, "C-Can we FINALLY go home now...?"

Once the two finally returned to the palace in Elysian, both went to bed. Without getting much sleep in the slightest as the sun began to rise, Sen knocked on her door before entering and speaking, "Mother, it is time to rise. Your day must begin soon and you have plenty of work to accomplish. Plus your students are looking forward to you teaching once again." Sitting up and groaning, the Celestial lass wobbly got out of bed and bathed before dressing in an all sparkly white dress with a separate ankle long lace skirting to flow around her body. Pulling a single sparkly white separate sleeve on that tightly clung to her arm, the angel then picked up her ruler's ring and placing it upon her middle finger to keep her sleeve still.

Walking out completely barefoot and pulling her long locks up into a high ponytail, Kagome then used a sparkly white ribbon to tie them up before entering her study and swiftly getting her work done. Noticing as to how tired his mother was, Sen gave a soft frown as he spoke, "Mother, did you not sleep well? Also, Shinto wasn't in your room." Shrugging at both comments, the angel then waved tiredly, "See ya later Sen-shine." Now walking towards the school, she picked up some coffee and WAY overpaid before chugging the cup and quickly getting three refills until completely awake as she was given one more cup on the house. Waving to everyone as she walked towards the school, all waved back and smiled happily.

Unlocking the schoolhouse doors, Kagome flung the door open and rang the bell, "CLASS WILL BE STARTING SOON!" Children began to file into the room at a fast pace as Shinto walked Yui to class so that she was not bullied, "Oh, there you are mate." Laughing and nodding his head, he then held his hand up, "I have some business to tend to, so I will see you later mate!" Smiling and waving as Shinto closed the door as the class situated in their seats for class to begin. Right before class started, the door opened and InuTaisho walked inside with a chuckle that he had actually startled Kagome to the point that she had spilled a bit of her coffee on her finger, "Well I'll be. I actually startled you of all people for once."

Giving the lord of shadows a dry expression as he approached her and healed her burned skin, he then hopped on her desk... only for all of her students to yell, "MANNERS, LORD OF SHADOWS!" InuTaisho gained a dumbfounded expression before chuckling and jumping down, "Forgive me!" Kagome then scowled softly, "Now, might we BEGIN class!? Please do remember that you have NO place to judge or boss one of the supreme deities around. As a matter of fact, you all are having a TEST today concerning the topics of ALL deities, what domains of respective rule they hold, what their abilities are, and previous or current titles." Handing a stack of parchment to InuTaisho, he then handed them out to each student in class.

All of the children groaned over this, considering the fact that she had gone over each deity a week prior, making her scowl, "First question! The leading maiden of light! Go!... UGH, I do remember TELLING all of you that you would have a test over the topic once I returned to Elysian! If you did not study, then it is your own fault that you FAIL!" Smirking, the angel then wiggled her finger at the pups with an all-knowing smirk, "I also know that Hinami taught you all of the maiden of love and the leading lord of ice, so no excuses pups!" InuTaisho peered towards the adorable white tiger, Yui, whom was already writing her answer down at a fast pace; making him smile softly as Kagome scolded the others that groaned at her.

Having Kagome as their teacher was rather frustrating and infuriating for all of the troublemakers in the class that devoted themselves completely to cheating. Those very same troublemakers didn't actually like the part of school where one had to constantly study and use their brains as their main weapons without infuriating the hell out of the leading maiden of light, which they consistently did. Meaning, the only real part that they actually enjoyed about school, were the lessons concerning combat that was taught by Riki, Sen, and Yukio. Walking down the files of pups to makes sure that none were cheating, considering all of the pups kept their minds rather silent now to avoid her thought and lie detector of an ability.

Right as she passed Yui, Kagome peered down at the kitten's answer sheet with a gentle smile before calling out, "For any of you who need a bit more time to write down your answers before I call out for the second question, raise your hand." A few raised their hands, making her silently nod as she continued to walk through the lines of pups. Hearing the last quill being sat down, Kagome smiled, "The second question! Lord of shadows! Go!" She watched a ton of her students glance up to the lord of shadows as if he would FREELY give his answers away, but all the dummy did was fix his hair lazily before drinking some of the angel's coffee, which she didn't mind so much due to the fact that they had a rather long history together.

Right as he set her cup down, InuTaisho caught some of the pups cheating and flicked his golden orbs towards them. Kagome was actually kind of THANKFUL that he was here to watch the portion of pups that she had already passed, only for her to walk to the two cheating off of Yui without her knowing. Grabbing the parchment of the two cheating off of the kitten, the angel then ripped them in half with a scowl, "CORNER, GO! YOU TWO FAIL! YOU WILL HAVE ONE MORE CHANCE TO MAKE UP IN TWO DAYS TIME!" They honestly should have known that was going to be coming their way, so they stood and went to the corners of the back of the class to stand in the corner; making InuTaisho tear up as he bit his lip to hold in laughter.

With all quill pens sat down again, Kagome called out, "Question three! The lord of flames! Go!" Kagome continued to walk slowly through the rows until two more cheaters were caught, had their parchment shredded, given the same verdict, and tossed into the corner with the other two. Standing up at the front now, InuTaisho leaned to her ear and whispered softly, "What's the point of putting them in the corner...?" Kagome then answered just as quietly, "It humiliates them in front of their entire class... this years students are mostly a gang of troublemakers. They are more rowdy than Inuyasha, Riki, Hinami, and Yukio all combined... To be honest, most give me bad vibes..." Yikes, that was incredibly troubling to hear.

InuTaisho then spotted FOUR cheating and stood up before walking to them, taking their parchment, ripping it, and sending them to the corner... only for them to sass the lord of shadows, "You ain't our TEACHER, loser! So DON'T tell us what to do!" Kagome was about to stand, but the lord of shadows sent his shadows after the four and hurled them into the corner, "Did you not hear? I am the new assistant teacher. How INCREDIBLY careless of you, leading maiden of light." Internally snickering at this, she then heard his inner voice speak to her, 'I'm serious... I want to be around you as much as I possibly can...' Kagome then cleared her throat abruptly before calling out, "Question four! The lord of wind! Go!"

In all honesty, InuTaisho was catching more CHEATERS than HONEST students and the corner was now becoming rather cramped. Roughly half of her students were knowledge thirsty, but the other half were her troublemakers. With Yui done first and smiling brightly at the lord of shadows, all he could do was smile in return at how adorable she actually was. Kagome could see the sparkle in the great puppy demon's eyes over Yui and snickered before calling out, "Question five! The lord of lightning! If ANY of you guys get this wrong and Sen sees it, you know how he will react! Best of luck! Go!" Yui kicked her feet happily as she wrote her answer down with relative ease since she always found Kagome's lectures magical.

Some of her troublemakers had FINALLY caught on to not cheat and she found that there were actually a bit more than half of her students that were now answering, which made her walk to her previous cheaters and kneel down before whispering, "I am so proud of you..." Those students had actually begun to take their teacher's lectures seriously, and during her absence they had began studying extremely hard to make her proud of them instead of upset. Once Kagome was back at the front, she smiled softly, "Question six! The maiden of earth! Go!" Yui's face scrunched up and she softly scoffed as she wrote her answer down. There was so little taught about the maiden of earth that answers were done swiftly.

"My, my, that was fast! Question seven! The maiden of love! You know that Hina will erupt like an active volcano if you get hers wrong! Go!" All that were still testing giggled at the way Hinami acted before they began to write down their answers. InuTaisho then whispered towards the angelic teacher again to not disrupt those still testing, "I do have to say that your little "kitten" student is quite adorable. Not to mention, she is just about as clever as Shinto. It's rather impressive as to how fast she is actually answering." Kagome then nodded and folded her arms as she whispered back, "That's Yui. She's by far one of the most motivated pups that I've ever had the privilege of teaching due to the fact that her parents are dying..."

Sighing softly, she then continued, "She works extremely hard to gain those ten silver coins to buy her parents medication so that she has a bit more time with them. Each year of new students picks up on my ideology of the natural flow of life, so, should their parents be sick and dying... they buy medication to either put their parents out of their misery with their permission, or they buy medication to keep them around longer..." Noticing her students now waiting for the last question, Kagome laughed softly, "Ah forgive me, my darling pups! Final question! The lord of ice! Go!" Soon enough, Yui's quill was down and her kitten ears twitched happily after she stretched her arms forward to not disrupt anyone still testing.

Once everyone was done InuTaisho chuckled, "Everyone that has completed their test, please pass them forward and everyone in the corner of shame take a seat. The leading maiden of light will begin grading as I start your next lesson." Kagome smiled at this and sat behind her desk once all of the tests were handed to her. Listening to InuTaisho teach was actually fascinating for her to hear as she graded. Noticing all of those who had completed their tests had made perfect scores, she then stood and walked to each one of those students and placed ten silver coins on their desks, "Lookie at all of ya! You all have bragging rights today! Now, those of you who cheated... recess is off limits and all of you must bring your parents."

Clearing her throat slightly, "Not only will you be getting no recess, and NOT ONLY will I be having a chat with your parents... but Riki, Sen, and Yukio will be given permission to go all out against you all during your combat training lessons." That made all of the cheating pups' faces grow pale. Sen was the kindest... yet also the most terrifying when he went all out. "Now, as the lord of shadows continues your lecture for today, I am going to go and prepare your lunches!" InuTaisho could only blink rapidly at that while thinking to himself, 'Oh man! She really WASN'T kidding when she claimed that she made all of their lunches!' - "Toga... why would I joke about that...?" Kagome snickered out playfully as she walked away.

Once Kagome had finished preparing lunch, InuTaisho helped serve the meals to all of the hungry pups before she handed him his lunch and brought out her own to sit at her desk to eat with Toga sitting beside her. Once everyone was fed, Kagome smiled softly and called out happily as all trays were handed up to the lord of shadows, "Alright, all of those who did not cheat, go ahead and play outside to rest your brains! The lord of shadows will be keeping an eye on you as I clean up!" All of those who did not cheat happily stood and ran outside, yet Yui stayed sitting at her desk to read a book happily until InuTaisho snatched the book, "Yui, go and play dear." Nodding her head, she then stood up and walked outside.

Walking out with a slight frown, the leading maiden of light sighed, "Toga... she's stays inside and reads for a reason. I already told you that reason too..." Nodding in acknowledgment, he then turned towards her with a bright smile, "However, children are still merely children. Giving them a break from those heavy responsibilities that they are carrying on their shoulders helps them to not be so stressed over what may come later rather than sooner." Chuckling softly, she then nodded, "I do suppose you make a valid point. Riki, Sen, and Yukio's class is up next if you are wanting to watch as to why they all appear so terrified." That amused the lord of shadows to no end, so he nodded while chuckling, "That sounds like fun."

After thirty minutes, Kagome walked to the door and opened it before calling out, "Class! It's time for you to switch instructors!" Walking out to her three sons, Kagome snickered, "We have cheaters for you boys. You know what that means, correct?" Sen instantly began to spark up and crack his knuckles as the cheaters were brought forward, "Oh yeah, we don't have to hold back!" As combat fighting went on, Yukio mostly sparred with the girls due to how gentle he was when it came to them... not that Sen was any different when it came to the ladies. However, Yui clung to Sen like a little sister. Which he OBVIOUSLY didn't mind in the SLIGHTEST due to how damn adorable and loveable she actually was.

Peering at the sun and chuckling at all of her IMMENSELY banged up cheaters, Kagome then clapped her hands together, "Those who cheated, you are to retrieve your parents immediately. The rest of you are free to take your braggings rights back to your families! Homework is due tomorrow, so get it done!" As they all ran inside, Kagome witnessed something odd and blinked rapidly, "Huh, that's weird." InuTaisho then looked at the angel with a questioning gaze, "What would that be?" Humming softly, she stared as she watched the pups walk out of the school, "Yui... she never walks home with them..." Tilting his head, he then hummed softly, "Maybe they are actually asking for her help with schoolwork? Who's to say?"

One by one, parents of those cheaters were brought in and appeared mortified before they bowed deeply and gave their profound apologies. Right as Kagome and InuTaisho walked outside and locked the door to the school building... ALL current deities were notified the moment Kagome's barrier turned a pulsing crimson coloration and released a siren that ONLY the deities could hear and see. To everyone else, nothing appeared wrong. InuTaisho's eyes then widened, "What in the hell does that mean!?" Kagome's eyes widened as she shakily noticed where it was coming from only to bolt with a puppy ruler hot on her heels, "A MURDER!" InuTaisho appeared shocked at this, "I THOUGHT THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN IN ELYSIAN!?"

Shaking her head as she ran, she already had a bad feeling as she spoke, "Normally, it DOESN'T. However, there is one exception to my barriers absolute protection!" Continuing to run, he then nodded, "Exception? What exception!?" Kagome's eyes filled with tears as she ran faster, "CHILDREN CHANGE THEIR MINDS FAR TOO OFTEN, SO WHAT THEY THINK CAN NEVER BE CONSIDERED AS "BAD" DUE TO HOW YOUNG THEY ARE!" InuTaisho's orbs widened further as they both picked up speed, "T-THIS... WAS A CHILD'S DOING!? A CHILD MURDERED!?" Nodding her head, she then explained, "It doesn't happen very often. In fact, there have only been eight recorded children that have murdered another child!"

Explaining further, she went into detail, "If a child has sick parents that are bound to die soon, much like Yui, and they gain permission from their parents to give them medicine to end their suffering, the barrier will turn a light blue color to signify that the child was given permission and basically tells us that they have gone to a better place! When a child commits a murder without the permission of another, the sky will look as it does now! If you look closely, the sky isn't sparkling anymore and it looks as if blood is swirling violently! Only us deities can see these changes in the barrier though! We are close now, so prepare yourself mentally for what you are about to see!" Nodding his head, they closed in to see a horrid sight.

Skidding to a stop, she noticed that it had been five of her troublemakers holding Yui's head underneath the water of a lake making Kagome shout, "OH GOD NO! Y-YUI!" The five children snapped their head towards their teacher and darted off in separate directions, only for Sen and Hinami to appear to grab four, but the last was caught by Shinto. Sen was PISSED as he yelled, "NOW GO! LIGHTNING IMPRISONMENTS!" Each child was then caught by Sen as Hinami pulled Yui out of the water while sobbing, "Y-YUI, NO, NO, NO!" Kagome lowered her head with tears rolling down her face, "H-Hinami... hand her to me... we must notify her parents..." Handing the little girl to her crying mother, Ikari then frowned, "W-Why her...?"

Taking his top off, InuTaisho then placed it over Yui's body to not make the general public panic as she walked to the little girl's home. Reaching the home, Kagome knocked... but nothing was heard as a reply. Blinking rapidly and knocking again, there was still no answer. Opening the door, Kagome's nose was then hit with the hard stench of decaying bodies, "W-What in the hell...? T-They've been dead for quite some time now!" Hinami then checked the corpses and nodded, "I will ask their souls." Holding her hands over their bodies and pulling their spirits up, she asked for the time of their death... but when they answered, Kagome and Hinami appeared mortified before pushing those souls to the heavens.

"They got her into school... and one moon cycle later, they passed. Yui has been alone these entire school years." Hinami whispered softly, making tears stream down the angel's face, "Once a pup is signed up for school at the age of four, they don't need to be signed in again. W-What in the hell, she has been alone for THREE YEARS!? I..." InuTaisho then smiled at her, "Well, the full moon IS technically already in the sky. It's not showing favoritism if she is made one of your pups, because, well... she'll be reborn and technically hasn't died as of yet." Damn him for even bringing that UP! Carrying Yui back to the palace with her wings, she then had Toga hide the bodies with his shadows and relocate them to the graveyard.

Placing her in one of the palace bedrooms, Kagome held her hands over the child's body, "I CALL UPON THE GODDESS OF THE HEAVENS, AMATERASU! WITH THIS OFFERING OF BLOOD, MAKE THIS DEMONIC PUP LIVE AND BREATHE AS ONE OF MY OWN!" Slicing her hand open, six droplets of blood fell onto Yui's chest and the blood toll was exchanged. Yui was now a "pure" demonic child belonging to her and Shinto. Shooting awake appearing freaked out, Yui's eyes morphed to become sky blue and her long hair was the same color as her newfound mother's hair. Looking towards Kagome and blinking rapidly as her ears and tails began to sparkle brilliantly just like another sparkly white tiger she knew. Her big brother, Yukio.

Speak of the devil. Darting into the room, Yukio lifted the little girl into his arms protectively, "SIS, DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" Well, that wasn't so odd. Yui called Yukio her big brother and he called her sis. What he said next made her puzzled, "Welcome to the ACTUAL blood family. Mother had you reborn as one of her own pup's, so now... you're JUST as sparkly as me!" Kagome then peered at her somehow half-breed son and chuckled, "Hold on... SHE... SHE'S A HALF-BREED LIKE YUKIO NOW! A PRODUCT OF A CELESTIAL AND DEMON! THIS ONLY HAPPENS WITH YOU SHINTO!" Shinto began to blink rapidly at this outburst before snickering out, "I... uh... sorry? We make some pretty cute sparkly ass pups though."

With the days that followed, all of Elysian was made aware that without knowledge as to how it happened, Yui had been reborn as the two leaders' daughter and was now known as the miracle child. Walking to school holding her mother's and father's hand, the two then waved goodbye to Shinto once they arrived and entered the currently empty classroom. Looking towards her mother, Yui hummed softly, "Hey mommy? How come both daddy and the lord of shadows are known as father by even Yukio?" Kagome chuckled and answered honestly, "Well, he was raised by Toga for a while. That's also why your daddy is known by all of Toga's and my own pups as dad. We're just a weird family I guess!" Again, speak of the devil.

InuTaisho walked inside and leaned out to ring the bell, "IT'S TIME FOR CLASS! DO NOT BE LATE!" Yui then waved to the lord of shadows, whom walked up to her and squished the sparkly little lass to his chest, "Don't YOU look precious today! I like how your father did your hair!" This made Yui scoff, "I don't like it when he does my hair in all of these fancy designs! Why weren't YOU my daddy!? Even I can tell that mommy loves you SO much more!" Peering down, InuTaisho now looked like a dog that had just been kicked, "Yui... you know fully well as to what the first lord of shadows' legend was. I wouldn't trust me either if I were your mother..." As the classroom began to fill up, the puppy lord winked, "Take a seat dear."

Going over attendance, the lord of shadows groaned heavily, "Where in the HELL is Akihito again!? Dammit all to hell, that pup is trying to KILL me!" Kagome then peered at him and chuckled before pressing her finger to her forehead, "My sister will not be too happy that he is skipping as well. He tries to hide all throughout Elysian so that he doesn't have to attend... but each time- AH, FOUND HIM!" Right then Akihito appeared and chuckled nervously at the dry face that his aunt was giving him, "Ha, ha, ha... I'm it?" InuTaisho then swatted the back of the pup's head and had him groaning and whining, "OW! Uncle Toga, that SERIOUSLY HURT!" Gah! He dreaded that everyone in the palace now called him by his birth name.

To this day, most people STILL only knew him as InuTaisho; so the moment that name "Toga" was released, all of the other children appeared puzzled as hell. Yui then waved to her cousin, "Akihito, I told you not to do it this morning!" Taking his seat beside his cousin, he then groaned, "Yeah, yeah. You're just SO smart that you already know everything before it's ever going to even happen, Yui. WE ALL KNOW!" Kagome's brow began to twitch heavily at this and stood up before grabbing her nephew's ear tightly, "DAMMIT, WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT TREATING WOMEN WITH RESPECT AKIHITO!?" - "YEAH WELL, YOU ALSO TELL US NOT TO SWEAR; BUT YOU DO IT ANYWAY AUNT KAGOME," the pup sassed his aunt in return.

InuTaisho watched in AMUSEMENT over this showdown as Kagome yanked the pup out of his chair, "IF YOU DIDN'T VOLUNTARILY PISS ME OFF SO MUCH, THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE TO SWEAR IN THE SLIGHTEST!" Akihito then shook a scolding finger at his REAL teacher while mimicking her words, "Now, now. You should know better than to use words such as that." Furious at this point, she then blinked rapidly the moment Yui stood and slammed her fist into the back of her cousin's head, "SIT DOWN AND BE QUIET SO THAT THE REST OF US CAN ACTUALLY LEARN! YOUR MAKING MOMMY MAD JUST SO YOU TWO ARGUE THE WHOLE DAY AGAIN AND WEAR HER OUT TO THE POINT THAT SHE DISMISSES US PREMATURELY!"

"Hold up. Prema-what? You make it sound as if I did something evil by using THAT DAMN word!" Akihito shouted, causing the sassy kitten to groan extensively, "PREMATURELY! YOU WOULD KNOW WHAT IT MEANT IF YOU EVER CAME TO CLASS! ALSO, WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" Everyone in their class was more than shocked now. It had been a few days, but Yui now acted like a completely different person. Either after three years she was finally coming out of her shell, or she was now taking on her newfound mother's personality; which was a rather terrifying thought to even process. The leading maiden of light, while normally sweet, held one hell of a hair-trigger temperament that could put anyone's health in jeopardy.

Sitting down, Yui folded her arms and huffed, "Now can you please sit down? We are having language arts first, so I would like to actually learn more words to confuse you. Though, I don't think daddy should be teaching THAT lesson in the slightest due to the way he speaks." The poor puppy now looked dumbfounded at Yui's wordplay and flailed his arms, "NOW HOLD ON ONE MOMENT, WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU EVEN MEAN BY THAT!?" Kagome then gave the lord of shadows an extremely dry expression, "THAT'S what she means Toga. You have a FILTHY mouth, so do remember that these ARE children that you are teaching." At this point in time, both InuTaisho and Kagome were exhausted from all of the bickering.

It was odd for Yui that everyone now bowed to her, but she dealt with it. As for the five that had initially murdered her, Yui gave them pardons as long as they straightened out in school. Oddly enough, those five that had murdered her were now her best friends. Talk about one hell of a bitterSWEET contradiction. InuTaisho did majority of the teaching now and mostly... Kagome merely sat inside of the classroom to admire him. By the end of the month, all citizens cried when InuTaisho had to return to Kageka until he was granted full permission to live inside of Elysian once again. Yes, everyone liked Shinto... but majority of the inhabitants believed that the lord of shadows should be the one holding that leading title again.

At this point in her life, Kagome didn't know who would be better. Even after years of living in Elysian, InuTaisho would constantly receive letters from Izayoi that he would melt with his corrosive acid without reading a single word. Lying in a field on a warm day with her eyes closed, the angelic mother then heard her half-breed daughter, "Heya mommy! Oh, heya daddy!" Kagome never knew who in the hell Yui was referring to anymore when she said "daddy", considering she addressed InuTaisho as the same title. Sitting up to see the great puppy lord, he then snickered as he sat behind her and pulled her back so that her head now rested in the comfort of his lap, "Whoa, you are thinking hardcore if you're SCOWLING!"

Yui sat beside the two and puffed out a breath of heavy air, "MOMMY, JUST SAY IT! OR I WILL SAY IT FOR YOU!" Lifting her brow, Kagome could only chuckle out, "What are you talking about dear?" Groaning, the sparkly kitten that made her ears appear like InuTaisho's now then blurted out, "GAH! SHE'S THINKING ABOUT HOW SHE REALLY LOVES YOU, DADDY!" Was she THAT easy to read? Well apparently. InuTaisho chuckled at this before yanking the pretty little angel's face towards his, "Well, she already knows that I love her unconditionally and believe me... I know that she will always hold some form of love for me..." Yui then stood up and brushed her dress off, "Okay, okay, I get it! You two need time alone, sheesh!"

Elysian still continued to thrive and prosper once they hit the feudal era... and by now... Shinto could tell that Kagome would NEVER love him in the same way that he obviously loved her. Her eyes were never focused on him no matter how hard he tried. Per Yui's request, she had finally been made a daiyokai canine and no other children had been given to him yet by Kagome. He could see the internal struggle she held when it came to the topics of love from her pups, but he supposed he honestly couldn't blame her. Even he had to admit that InuTaisho was one HELL of a loveable dummy that all highly enjoyed being surrounded by. Majority of Elysian even wished for the ruler of shadows to become their leader again as well.

Walking towards her room, Kagome had to admit that it was weird as hell being summoned by Shinto to their bedroom. Entering, she then chuckled, "You needed to see me?" Shinto then gave the bed a few gentle pats, making her tilt her head before walking forward, "Shinto, you're being oddly quiet. What's wrong?" A heavy breath was then released as he smiled and took her hand, "Kagome, you know that I love you... but everyone else except you can truly see that you do not love me in the same manner that you love InuTaisho. Your hearts are strung together like a set of prayer beads, so why do you continue to stay in a mating that you do not wish to be in...?" That cut extremely deep... because she did love him.

However, she just so happened to love another far more and as much as it even hurt to admit it, he knew that to be true. The white tiger knew as to how much this particular angel was when it came the aspect of showing her emotions through her actions alone. Hell, even when she spoke her love to him, she was looking behind him... or even right through him to look at the person she was truly directing those words to; but if she wasn't looking at him, she would snap her focus back to him by the time she had finished speaking those full blown words of love, adoration, and admiration. Shinto knew that she didn't mean for this to be meant as an act filled with malicious intent, she merely did it subconsciously.

Placing a tender hand against her cheek, Kagome began to cry and beg for his forgiveness; making him chuckle softly as he spoke, "You once told me that I was always going to be here for you... and that's true. I will never grow tired of chasing after your heart. However, your heart... grows tired of BEING chased by mine. It's time to let me go, but if you can't... then I will do the honors." Kissing the top of her hand, Shinto then broke off their mating bond and brought her to his chest, "Anytime you need a kitten ear to tug, you'll know where to find me!" Reaching her hand up, she gave his pierced kitten ear a few gentle tugs before they slowly but surely flattened against his skull in the most dejected of manners.

"Go to the idiot..." Shinto smiled and stood up, only to freeze when she snickered, "Which one?" Giving the angel a dry face, he then chuckled playfully and winked towards her, "The LEADING one." Waving his hand as he left, Kagome laid on her back before sighing shakily. For years... all she had done was admire InuTaisho from afar, but she swallowed heavily before speaking, "Kirara... please go and retrieve InuTaisho for me and bring him here..." Popping her head up and standing, the fire feline then stretched before jumping off of the bed and walking out of the door while speaking, "As you wish my lady!" Finding the great dog dummy was never a hard task to accomplish, so walked out of the palace and into the school.

Jumping onto InuTaisho's shoulder, the kitten mewed happily, "Lord InuTaisho, lady Kagome wishes to see you this instant!" Blinking rapidly at this, he then nodded, "Sure thing, can you grab Hinami or Yui and have them stand in?" Nodding her head she quickly found Hinami and she took over for her father. Walking into the palace, he then passed Shinto and felt something off about him; yet continued to the angel's bedroom. Knocking on the door and entering, he then chuckled, "Well now, calling for me while I'm teaching is a new one! What's up leading maiden of pretty?" Chuckling, she then motioned him forward and she could already see him tilting his head in a puzzled fashion. A dummy, yes. Stupid, yeah, no...

Lying beside her, he then snickered, "A free woman now, are we?" She then took his hand gently before kissing his knuckles, "Come here you dummy." Puzzled, he then rolled on top of her and she unlaced his hair. Staring into his orbs, her hand then stroked his jagged demonic markings before whispering, "I need the leading lord of shadows in my life..." Chuckling at her, he leaned down and pressed his lips to her own while his claws lightly traced her thighs. That sensitive skin had her slamming against his chest and he lightly nipped her lip before softly speaking, "It took you long enough... I was beginning to think that this was a one sided true love..." Kagome chuckled and shook her head, "It never has been, Toga..."

Pulling her dress down, he gave a dashing smirk towards her flushed cheeks while teasingly sliding his thumb against her bottom lip, "This picture seems oddly familiar. Ah yes, it is coming to me now. You appeared the exact same way when I took your virginity." Kagome then gained a dry face at that comment, "Which time!?" Oh... good question. Pressing his palm to the small of her back and slamming her against his chiseled abdomen, she then nodded and began to toy with his hair, "Ah, THAT time!" - "Three..." - "Two..." - "ONE!" Both of their fangs sunk into one another and he accidentally released a rather heated groan until blinking rapidly when he peered at the same symbol above her bed that was in the throne room.

He watched intently as the white and black diamond merged to become half and half, making him chuckle out, "Yin and yang..." Kagome then looked at the diamonds before chuckling, "You said that the first time they merged." Merged... LIGHTBULB! Sneakily removing his hakamas, he then "merged" the two and had her gasping sharply while arching tightly against his chest. It wasn't just the deities that felt it this go around... the entire realm of Elysian felt it... the true leading lord of shadows had rightfully taken his crown back and returned to the throne to lead their kingdom as he should have been rightfully doing from the start. That wasn't all that transpired between the two though... oh no, not in the slightest.

This was the best news to come in an awkward position to say the least. Midoriko popped out and was about to be joyous, but turned bright red, covered her eyes, and THEN gave the merry message to the loving couple, "InuTaisho... Kagome... you two FINALLY managed to do it. You have broken free of the gods' curse placed upon you two! Should you two happen to betray one another again, the curse will no doubt reactivate. Do keep this in mind..." - "Er... mother? WOULD YOU MIND SO TERRIBLY TO LEAVE!?" The feisty angel yelled, making the spirit chuckle happily before vanishing into her blade once more. Once it was the two of them alone, they had quality-er-"bonding" time with one another in many different positions.

By the time the two were truly finished having playtime with one another, it was well into the night. Exhausted and drenched in sweat, a bath wasn't on either of their minds as her tails covered his nude frame and his tails most definitely covered her once she curled up on his chest and mumbled softly before kissing his bare chest, "Toga... I love you..." Smiling softly as he held her close, he then chuckled due to the fact that she had fallen asleep. However, that wasn't his style of chivalry. Taking her chin gently and tilting her head up, he then traced her spine with his claw; causing for her eyes to pop open tiredly as he smiled, "I will love you always. Don't you ever forget that." Pressing his lips to her own, he then snuggled up.

In the years to follow, Kagome was at her throne while InuTaisho sat in the extra throne that had once been his... had been removed throughout the ages of the failing leading maiden of lights, but was now here to stay. One can only hope. Right at that moment, Kagome's elder twin sister walked in and smiled brightly before bowing, "Leading rulers, I have brought a missive from Kageka. There has been a horrendous uprising of demons slaughtering everything in sight and the maiden of earth cannot contain the bloodshed. Sis... she is asking specifically for your help." Kagome then peered at her twin sister's worried facial expression, but could only chuckle as she stood up with a playful smile, "Pupped AGAIN!? Sheesh sis!"

Turning her head towards the opening of the castle, she then frowned softly as she spoke, "That much bloodshed should not be occurring, would you not agree mate?" Peering at her smiling face and nodding, he then stood and chuckled, "All of our pups are to follow Shinto's and your instructions as their fatherly and motherly figure during our absence." Giving a gentle bow, Kikyo chuckled, "As you wish. Sen dear, your mother is LEAVING!" Sen heard that from the schoolyards' training grounds and swiftly appeared by his mother's side, "Alright mother, father, let us be going then!" The trio then darted out of the castle and flew through the barrier. The two leading rulers held hands as they entered the domains of Kageka.

Once they landed at the castle, the two leading rulers gazed at the origins of their second beginning with a smile held on their faces before entering the castle. Izayoi walked out and witnessed Kagome, only to internally smirk until seeing InuTaisho and Sen with her, making her clear her throat, "Welcome to Kageka maiden of light, lord of shadows." Both of their orbs then snapped forwards as Sen stepped forward with a dangerous gleam, "That would be the LEADING maiden of light and LEADING lord of shadows to you! Show your respect to the standing rulers of Elysian, MAIDEN OF EARTH!" Biting the inside of her cheek, Izayoi then nodded, "That's right, forgive me. I have a question for you leading maiden of light."

Blinking slightly, Kagome then nodded towards the maiden of earth, "That might be?" Izayoi then gained a straight face as she spoke, "It is true that you make your rounds through the four pillars of demon lords, but I must ask as to why you always drop down into the single village close to the bone eaters well when you merely fly by the rest to ensure their safety?" Blinking softly, Kagome then spoke with nothing but honesty, "Do remember that I am unable to lie, maiden of earth. That specific town always ends up being attacked for a reason that I am unsure of, so I stop to give them a decent amount of medication and herbs." Izayoi then chuckled, "Ah, yes, then why do you always stop to wash your body off...?"

This made InuTaisho slightly nervous until Sen spoke up in a rather agitated tone of voice, "We do not do things in the same way that we used to during our first lived lives. My mother goes NOWHERE without an escort, so in other words... I am always with her even when she is requested to go alone. She has stopped at a river because many times, she ends up covered in blood and since she holds such a sensitive nose; she must wash that blood off so that the scent does not make her ill. Now, state which part of your domains are being attacked at once before we leave and allow for this bloodshed to continue." Izayoi then peered at InuTaisho with a smirk... whom would not look at her in the slightest with dashed orbs.

"One more question before I disclose the locations in need of your assistance," the maiden of earth spoke, making Kagome nod innocently, "Go ahead." Izayoi then lifted her finger to point at InuTaisho, "Where do you think the LEADING lord of shadows goes each and every time he is to leave the palace in Elysium all alone...? Do you wish to take a guess...? Or shall I just tell you?" Kagome and Sen's eyes widened at this, considering the fact that he would no longer look at the leading maiden of light that he claimed to love so much. Izayoi then placed her hand over her belly with a smirk, "Well, since you will not answer, I will tell you. I am now carrying HIS pup and that leading title you hold so dear will now be taken!"

Taking a shaky breath and releasing InuTaisho's hand as she took a step back, all she could do was ask with tears in her eyes, "T-Toga...? Please tell me that you didn't do this AGAIN!" He couldn't lie to her, so he sucked in a shaky breath, "I-It's true..." His words... all of them were ALWAYS lies that were untrustworthy. Everything he ALWAYS did was a damn contradiction! Standing her ground this time and not running away, the Celestial maiden scowled, "WHAT IN THE HELL!? YOUR CURSES ARE BROKEN, YET YOU STILL TAKE THIS COURSE OF ACTION!? EXPLAIN YOURSELF THIS INSTANT! ALL OF THESE YEARS, ALL OF THEM... HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT FILTHY LIES!? MY TRUST IS ALWAYS THROWN INTO MY FACE TOGA!"

Izayoi then took a step forward and took InuTaisho's hand, "You commanded that I never place a curse on any of the deities for as long as I am to live, but this time... the gods that you trust wholeheartedly betrayed that gifted trust and removed that command from me to do as I pleased. You would be quite surprised as to whom the gods actually are, for it surprised me as well." Kagome was furious at this point as she yelled, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?" The maiden of earth then smirked at the leading maiden of light as she spoke, "Tell me... how is it that you think that your very own mother knows everything as well as she does? These GODS that you hold so much faith in, are the FAILED leading maidens of LIGHT!"

Chuckling, she then continued, "Even your own original spirit is one of these appointed "gods". She was the one who released my command out of BITTERNESS that you succeeded where SHE, or I suppose I should say, where you first could not succeed. So, while you slept, your bitter half took over and came to me to remove that command. She claimed to me... 'If my own spirit thinks that she can succeed in this fairytale of INFINITE SORROW where I originally could not succeed, then my softer side is dead wrong. She will come to know the full extent of the pain that we have truly lived with. She will KNOW, that no matter the consequences, the leading lord of shadows is someone that did not DESERVE her love.'..."

Peering at InuTaisho as tears fell down her face, she allowed for her original bitter soul to take over and those tears quickly dried, "Reinstating you was my worst mistake that I could have possibly made. Sure, I could have finally lived a happily lived life with my pups and mate... but that kindness that I once held is what shoved me into ruin. This time... MY SOUL WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THESE LANDS, FOR ONCE I LIE... I WILL NEVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO RETURN TO YOUR EVIL SIDE, TOGA! I REFUSE TO CONTINUE WATCHING SO MANY LIVES BEING LIVED, ONLY TO FAIL BECAUSE OF YOUR SELFISH ACTIONS!" Sen hastily slapped his hand over his mother's mouth and began to cry against her shoulder, "NO!"

Bitter or not, her pups still meant the world to her. Turning around and taking Sen into her arms with a miserable smile, all she could do was stroke those long silver locks, "I will always love you..." Sen then shouted furiously as tears streamed down his face, "I DON'T CARE IF FATHER DIES, BUT YOU ARE PRECIOUS! EVERYONE LOVES AND DEPENDS ON YOU, MOTHER!" Kagome then frowned and held her pup tightly, "My spirit will be freed once I go to the other world. I will be free to live as a normal girl that is given the actual choice to love whomever I desire without restriction or judgement being cast upon me. The chains of hell will merely take my curse for good and I will hold no attachments to your father at all..."

Hearing the words Kagome spoke even had InuTaisho panicking as he held his hand out, "M-MATE, NO! DON'T BREAK OUR BOND!" Releasing Sen and turning to face her mate with sad orbs, she now knew how she wanted her lie to go. If she had to lie, then she would lie to the man she loved the most in this world as a means of saying farewell; but now was not the time. Sighing softly and peering upward, Kagome's bitter side had tears sliding down the sides of her face, "I will still be born as a Celestial... no matter what, but that Celestial... will no longer be tied to you in any sense. She will be free to fall in love and feel pain on her own volition, while not holding some curse that will merely make my spirit a living magnet to you."

Peering into those golden orbs she loved so much, she then glanced towards Izayoi, "By the way, you do understand that once my leading maiden of light title is stripped away from me, that LEADING title you desire so desperately will go straight to the maiden of LOVE. Should you take my daughter down, well... I can assure you that you will STILL never gain that leading title you wish to hold. My daughter won't die and I will make sure that her spirit is well protected so that you may never be given the chance to consume her light and love. Also, I do believe that you are somewhat stupid. Your spirit entering the vessel of the leading maiden's body will corrupt the deities and as soon as you gain that title, it will be gone."

"It's not only that though. Should the leading maiden of love perish, the lord of lightning will then take up the title to balance out the rest of the deities. I assure you, that you are the last on the list that will gain the title. What point would there actually be in holding that leading title... if you do not have a group of deities to lead? So, in another sense... you were never meant to hold the title in the slightest," the bitter angel spoke as she folded her arms securely. Sighing, she then smiled softly, "Finally, I will be freed from your form of malignant love that has never truly existed, Toga. In my eyes, you and Izayoi make quite the handsome couple with how the both of you enjoy to slither around like the venomous vipers you are."

Hearing her pup still crying, the leading maiden of light turned around to tenderly wipe his tears away, "My pup, please don't be sad about this. I am merely taking the freedom that I wish to have. You should think of it this way, once I enter the new world, you will find me... without a doubt, that I am sure of. However, the time of mother and pup will be over. That way, we can become the best of friends! Doesn't that sound wonderful, my pup?" If his mother was hurting this badly over the connection that she held with his father, then it made sense to find a way out. Nodding his head, he then weakly choked out, "I-I can't wait to meet you again mother!" Kagome then winked, "Maybe we'll even become a couple!"

Sen's face then scrunched up at THAT comment and softly gagged before shaking his head violently, "Yeah, I'll PASS on becoming the next Sesshomaru and Ikari!" Snickering at this comment, she then peered out to the sun to see that the sun was at its peak and it was now the optimal time to be doing this. Turning around to face InuTaisho, whom was now in tears over all of this happening due to HER own original bitter spirit, "W-Why...? We were so happy together for years..." Those sky blue orbs pierced those golden orbs and silence filled the air. Sen took a large step back so that the chains would not grab him as Kagome's voice projected out hatefully and full of spite, "Because I LOATHE your very EXISTENCE!"

At that moment, the chains of hell shot up and grabbed the angelic maiden as she chuckled softly, "Toga... I don't have much time, but before I go... know that each day we held together was a blessing to both sides of my soul, especially for the bright and loving portion. It was this bitter soul that initially holds the curse to tether our hearts together that couldn't find the resolve to forgive your transgressions against me. You left me alone for so long that I lost who I was... and who I strove to become. For once, I had hoped that your words of love for me were nothing but the truth, but I am a fool for wanting that truth. Sen, pass on my love to your brothers and sisters." With that, Kagome's bitter soul was dragged to hell.

Thigh long straight black tresses snapped wildly about within the wind as sparkling angel wings were kept neatly folded against her back. Each step she took were slow and graceful strides forward. Blue eyes as bright as a cloudless afternoon sky were narrowed almost angrily and her brows furrowed over the circumstances of such a "joyous" walk. Carrying a black and pink duffle bag filled to the brim with clothes, that almost matched her athletic running shoes, was pressed hard against her shoulder. She was near the family shrine, but did not want to get any closer in the SLIGHTEST. Kagome knew that her father wanted something from her, such as money for alcohol and drugs. To say the least, her mother wasn't any better.

The only real reason she ever returned was due to her sixteen year old brother, whom was constantly abused as she had once been. Rage filled her entire fiber of her being, yet she kept a very stoic mask held firmly in place. Placing an earbud within one of her ears, she pressed play on her upbeat music in the hopes to make her mood somewhat more relaxed and easy going. Just as she turned the corner, a large gust of wind brushed by her face, causing for her white mark of Celestial royalty to appear. She didn't know why in the hell she had been born with the same mark as all of the deities in Elysian and all it managed to accomplish was make her spend a damn fortune on concealer just to keep the damn thing covered.

She was a rare person indeed. Both of her parents were MORTALS, yet she had been born as a sparkly Celestial. At the tender age of four, she was able to use her powers and happily went to show her mother and father so they would be impressed by her. However, the outcome was the reverse effect of what she thought would have made her parents happy. To this day, she can still remember the sadistic grin that her parents held as her father made the call for scientists to come in and test everything in the hopes of uncovering the truth... for a very large paycheck. Supposedly, there was a barrier around all of Elysian to keep people from doing sadistic things such as this. Well, apparently it didn't work on her parents.

Kagome could still remember EACH and EVERY single time that the leading maiden of love, the supreme ruler of Elysian, had to visit her parents to calm them the FUCK down; but even then... her powers didn't last long on the fools due to all of the drugs they took and how much alcohol they drank to royally screw their own minds over. The leading maiden of love made a damn carrier of having to come to their temple after only a couple of months after shit hit the fan. From the word go, her life had gone straight to hell in a handbag; but she had managed to somehow pick up the scattered fragments of herself and firmly glue them back together. Blowing her bangs up as she slightly turned her music up, she could only sigh.

Glancing down at the ground as she slowed her pace to reach the temple that now had a bad reputation thanks to her parents, she continued to evaluate her life. They called her "a rare gem" and some even went as far as claiming that she was a prodigy. She had been a child with far too many gifts to count. Her photographic memory, her quick analyzing capabilities, her calculating mind. It was as if she knew EVERYTHING before she had even been taught the subjects. She was a genius of all knowledge and due to this, she skipped many grades and even graduated college as valedictorian by the time she was sixteen with her only bestfriend right by her side, who ironically was one of these deities... Sen, the lightning deity.

Considering she had such a brilliant mind, she had been an easy target with her gentle nature whenever it came down to a test of wits with upper-classmates. This created a monster with a hair-trigger temperament and due to this, she picked up many fighting skills just to defend herself. She was an expert in hand-to-hand combat, sword skills, archery, throwing knives - or wielding them as weapons; but in this day in age... she was excellent with using a gun - which she carried as of this moment. Her bestfriend, Sen, had CONSTANTLY told her that she should have one of these... as he put it... "horrendous weapons that only know how to kill" so that she was kept safe from her parents that apparently only wished to do harm.

More importantly than her said "horrendous weapon that only knows how to kill", she was an expert using her angelic powers. Continuing her little stroll down to the, as many now called it, "temple of hell", Kagome released a heavy sigh and adjusted her attire. She had just finished training kids in hand to hand combat and was wearing her black sweats that were rolled up to her knees - her gun safely clipped in its holster on the back of her pants, a pink and black sports bra, and a black and pink jacket that was zipped up to her bra so she at least had some sort of coverage to not look too indecent in public. Thinking deeply now, the angel hummed softly as she thought of when she asked Sen about the rest of the deities.

His answer was straight forward until it came to three of the deities. The maiden of earth, the lord of shadows, and the maiden of light - whom was formally addressed as the LEADING maiden of light. He avoided those three for some unknown reason, but she could always tell that he honestly did not like the first two listed. When it came to the supposed "leading" maiden of light, his mostly dodged answer almost projected sadly as if he were missing a dearly loved individual that had inevitably departed from their realm of craziness. Hell, having Celestials, Demons, and Mortals - the three great races - all packed into Elysian at once was stressful enough to even grasp at. She almost felt as if the first two races shouldn't exist.

If the supposed "leading" maiden of light dipped out on purpose, Kagome couldn't BLAME her for doing so to begin with due to the times that they now lived in. Coming to a painfully slow stop and turning her head, here Kagome now stood at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to her family shrine while holding a slight scowl as she peered up those stone steps that would NOT be leading her to the gates of heaven. Not willing to go yet, she leaned her body against one of the pillars and texted her mother 'I'm almost there.' She hated considering this place as her home and the word "home" just held a bitter taste in her mouth. Sliding her phone into her bra, something immediately caught her eye, causing her head to snap up.

"You have got to be kidding me..." Kagome immediately thought to herself as she watched a male adorning battle armor from a time long since passed, two swords were strapped to the sash he wore and one was attached to his back beneath all of that... what exactly was that...? Her eyes slightly narrowed slightly and realized it was a fur... cape? Blue face paint adorned his cheeks in jagged stripes and a dark blue crescent moon was painted on his forehead. Narrowing her eyes at the figure that now turned her way and began approaching her from the spot he had been standing at moments ago, she could only manage to internally gape at the fact that this man was actually wearing red EYELINER on his eyelids!

Watching him intently from the corner of her eye, she noticed that he had long silver hair pulled up into a high ponytail and she instantly scoffed inside her mind, "Seriously? I mean, I know that this is an era holding Celestials, Demons, AND Mortals, but what is a man of HIS ag-" Her thoughts came to a grinding halt the very instance she noticed that this man... was young and beautiful. Her cheeks gained a pretty bright red tint the moment he gave a fanged smirked towards her flustered form and she shot her head down out of embarrassment. She could hear his gentle strides before coming to a stop and tapped her arm with a single one of his claws to gain her full attention once he spoke, "Pardon me, miss?"

Even with a bright red face, she kept her head down to calm and collect herself until he gently tapped her arm again so that she ended up peering up at his golden gaze. Gently tugging one of her earbuds out, she chuckled, "Oh, sorry! I was a tad spaced out as I was listening to my music!" Hearing his deep toned chuckle, his silky smooth and rich tone project, "Pardon me for startling you, for it was not my attention. I was merely wondering if you knew where the Higurashi shrine is located." Internally puzzled at that, Kagome then nodded as she answered in a dreaded tone, "Unfortunately, yes... I do. You were just standing in front of it moments ago. You signing up to be a practitioner to the devil or something?"

Toga instantly barked a laugh before swishing and swaying a single hand in front of his face, "No, not at all! Forgive me, for I must have come across as rather rude! My name is Toga... the lord of shadows." Her eyes just about popped out of her skull at that point and hastily bowed... but his name sounded familiar to her for some reason as she blurted out, "F-FORGIVE ME FOR SHOWING SUCH DISRESPECT, LORD OF SHADOWS!" Hearing his laugh... she felt as if she had heard this laugh before and erected her form curiously before asking, "Do I... Do I know you, lord of shadows? I feel as if I know you on a personal level..." That's when she noticed his resemblance to her bestfriend, Sen, "OH, NO WAY! YOU'RE SEN'S DAD!?"

Blinking softly, he then gained a dreaded expression as he spoke, "Wonderful, now he's not even calling me his father...? Has he spoken of his mother?" Kagome then pulled out her other earbud and lightly folded her arms, "Not you, no. He claims that the leading lord of ice, Shinto, is his father. Honestly, I never truly believed him considering the fact that I have witnessed the leading lord of ice and the leading maiden of love many times before. There's nothing... well... kitten like on Sen. As for his mother, not in the slightest. He avoids me as often as he can over the subject." Oh, if only Shinto had just heard as to what she had claimed. It would have overjoyed him to the extreme and he would end up snuggling up to her.

Chuckling softly, Kagome then rubbed the back of her head, "Ever since I was little, lord Shinto has always let me tug on his cute kitten ears when I was sad." Golden orbs slightly widened at such claims before managing to force out, "H-He's not once spoken of his mother and lord Shinto has been coming around you ever since you were l-little...?" InuTaisho shakily asked, making her nod, "I guess the answer to both of those questions would be a definite yes." All the internally furious puppy could think was, 'THOSE BASTARDS HAVE KNOWN WHERE SHE WAS FOR EIGHTEEN YEARS AND NEVER THOUGHT TO TELL ME ONCE!? NOT EVEN THAT... SEN NEVER TALKS ABOUT HIS OWN MOTHER!? ABSOLUTE MADNESS!'

Giving the angelic lass a smirk, he almost spoke until a voice cut him off completely, "KAGOME, THERE YOU ARE!" Sen yelled, making Kagome turn her head towards him before chuckling and turning her head back with her eyes closed, "Sorry, Sen is here to help me handle my pa-" Opening her eyes, she blinked rapidly that the lord of shadows was now gone. "Shit, am I hallucinating now?" Was all she could manage to think to herself in the safety of her mind, which Sen heard. Coming to a stop in front of her, he then snickered playfully, "Uh, Kagome? Do you have a screw loose?" Looking into his mirroring sky blue orbs, she then blinked rapidly before gaining a dry face, "Tell me who is your REAL dad and mom, Sen."

Gaining a puzzled face and about to deny the claims... she then yelled something that shocked him and almost made him lose his composure completely, "DON'T YOU EVEN DARE TRY LYING TO ME! YA GOT THAT!?" Nervous at this point, he then sighed gently, "My dad and mom are the topic again... huh?" - "Sen... tell me..." her shockingly motherly tone rolled out. Fanning his hand in front of his face he then looked down, "Fine, you win. My dad is the lord of shadows and my mom... well... she died a long time ago during the feudal era..." Folding her arms as if not happy with such a bland explanation, Kagome huffed, "At LEAST keep her memory alive through her NAME!" Cringing, but nodding, Sen spoke out, "K-Kagome..."

"What?" Kagome answered, but made Sen shake his head, "N-Not you... her name... it was Kagome..." That made the Celestial lass blink rapidly before giggling and nudging him with her elbow, "Awe, no wonder you're attached to me by the hip! That's SO adorable Sen-shine!" Chuckling sadly and lowering his head, he proceeded to freak her the hell out, "T-That was my mom's nickname for me too..." She had called him the nickname since the day she had met him; so now, yeah, she was a tad scared as she nervously spoke, "S-Sen-shine... what... what am I...?" InuTaisho then proceeded to drop to the ground behind his son and give a straight answer with a straight face to boot, "You are his mother... reborn..."

Sen snapped his head around furiously before punching his father straight across the jaw, "WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU OF ALL PEOPLE TELL HER THE TRUTH!? WE WERE WAITING FOR HER TO REMEMBER ALL ON HER OWN AND USING ME TO HELP HER GRADUALLY REMEMBER AS TO WHO AND WHAT SHE IS!" Well, if she hadn't believed Sen before... she now did, considering he basically confirmed what was being said was nothing less but the absolute truth. Snapping around, Kagome bolted and pulled out her phone to block Sen's phone number and texted her mother, 'Sorry, I can't come! Work just called me in! If I don't go, I will be fired!' Pulling up her brother's number, she then hastily texted, 'Go to my apartment, NOW!'

The lord of lightning then held his hand out in a panicked fashion, "K-KAGOME, LOOK OUT!" Not willing to listen as she idiotically ran with her eyes closed, she then felt a rough slam to her body and was hurled to the ground bleeding and unconscious. The two men bolted towards the wounded angel and instantly rushed her to the hospital where she was immediately placed on a ventilator. The doctor then walked out with a deep frown before speaking in a solemn tone, "Lord of lightning and shadows, I regret to inform you that the leading maiden of light is in a coma. She could wake in a few hours, days, weeks, months, years... or in the worst case scenario... she will never regain consciousness. My condolences..."

Sen's face flooded with mortified tears as he nodded miserably, "T-Thank you. You still follow my mother's teachings perfectly even after so much time has passed. The Celestial doctor nodded slightly, "Of course my lord. She basically raised us all to hold the utmost respect for her laws concerning the natural flow of life. She was probably the best thing that could have happened to all of us pups raised under her teachings. Once you made us all aware of what had happened, all raised under her teachings were heart broken; but we all still held high hopes for seeing her once she had been reborn. Thankfully, I was the one that was actually given the honors of helping birth her. Once she was named, we knew it had to be her."

The doctor then stepped to the side slowly, "You're in the clear to visit with her if you wish..." Both nodded, but Sen punched his father across the face again with a river of misery flooding down his face, "NOT YOU! THIS IS ALL YOUR DAMNED FAULT FROM START TO FINISH! IF YOU HAD NEVER SAID A DAMNED THING TO HER, SHE WOULD STILL BE CONSCIOUS! EVERYONE IN ELYSIAN KNEW WHO SHE ACTUALLY WAS, BUT ALL WERE BANNED FROM SAYING A WORD TO HER ABOUT IT! YOU WERE THE ONLY MORON TO NOT LISTEN!" Taking a shaky step back, he then turned and nodded, "A-As you wish..." Sen then entered the room and sat beside his mother with a deepened frown as he held her hand tenderly in his own.

After thirty minutes passed, he leaned over her chest and began to sob hysterically. Each pup that she had given birth to entered one by one with tears stinging their orbs. Why did they continue to believe that anything would work out in their favor? At this point in their long lives, they had no idea why they honestly believed that thing would go smoothly. Just like Kagome, their lives had been nothing short of a living and breathing reoccurring nightmare since the day that their mother had initially up and vanished from all of their lives. They all lived lives filled with fake smiles and phony chipper tones. The only ones that had been permitted to actually see her were Hinami, Shinto, and Sen. Even then... it wasn't any easier.

Four years down the road, InuTaisho sat in the hospital room all alone with the unconscious and unresponsive Kagome as he cried upon her chest in complete misery and heartbreak. Once Kagome had told Izayoi the harsh reality of the rankings before vanishing for a long period of time, she released the dummy dog demon from his curse and wasn't seen much at all. Even thought she had been the one hit by the car, InuTaisho felt nothing but the agonizing pain of her unresponsive absence. He cried and cried until his tears ran completely dry and fell asleep holding one of her hands in both of his own. Nothing in this world actually felt correct any longer... and that was beyond the point of painful for him.

In the middle of the night as he slept on her evenly rising chest, a hand weakly ran through his long locks before stroking those jagged demonic markings on his cheek. Figuring this was another dream, his eyes slowly opened and closed until hearing her gentle voice speaking out to him, "Toga..." Shooting his head up with hopeful orbs, she just HAD to fuck with him and close her eyes; causing for tears to fill his eyes again before leaning against her neck to cry himself to sleep again. Each and every day for four years... he cried himself to sleep for his actions, but the only true reason it had taken her so long to wake up was the simple fact that her brain had to finish "downloading" all of her lost memories.

Threading her fingers through his hair, the angel somehow managed to weakly get him into bed with her before lying against his chest once she pressed over where her tails should be and the sweetie and rascal tail hastily covered him up once she yanked off all of her monitors that immediately alerted the night shift staff. The doctor slammed the door open and the angelic lass smiled weakly as she pressed her pointer finger over her lips. This made the doctor softly chuckle at her and close the door before walking away. He figured that he could wait until the sun began to rise to notify her pups. Well, for her... this SUCKED ASS. She was WIDE awake due to having a four year snoozing fest, so she poked his side weakly, "Toga!"

His orbs FLEW the FUCK open to notice the angel lying on his chest. More than anything... he witnessed those eyes he loved and adored so much. Lifting his hands and stroking her long hair, he pulled her face to his own to glue his lips to her own in the most loving of manners. Breaking apart, he finally laughed softly as he cried tears of pure joy, "You had to screw with me, didn't you?" Those sky blue orbs bore holes into his soul and he yanked her close to his chest. The moment the sun began to rise, the door slammed open with many voices shouting, "M-MOTHER!" Weakly turning her head and smiling as she rested her face against InuTaisho's chest, she laughed softly, "Yes, my pups?" All darted in and began to argue instantly.

"Sen," the father of the ragtag group of dummies spoke, making him step forward, "What?" Kagome then smiled softly are her pup... but HAD to screw with him too, "Who is he...?" Sen's mouth dropped wide open before blurting out, "M-MOTHER! WHY HAVE YOU ONLY FORGOTTEN ME!?" Kagome then snickered, "Oh hush, my ray of Sen-shine. I'm just teasing you. SHEESH, after how long I raised YOU, one would think that you would KNOW as to how I behave!" Sen sat on the bed and leaned against his mother's chest before crying softly, "D-Don't do that to us EVER again! NO MORE LEAVING!" Being scolded by her pup was probably the most entertaining aspect of this whole process, and none failed to deliver their scoldings.

At home six months down the road while leaning against InuTaisho while all of her pups surrounded her as if protecting such precious cargo, making her laugh softly, "Geez, you all treat me like overprotective MATES!" InuTaisho and her were mated once again for what she hoped to be her last mating that she would ever go through. Holding his mate, he then lifted her hand and placed a wedding band on her finger before kissing her cheek, "I love you, mate." Lifting a dry expression, she then gave a far too comical snort before speaking out in a huff, "For the sake of your everlasting longevity of life and health, I really DO hope that you mean it this time around and don't plan on making this an infinity of lies."
