Hey, guys!!. Really, really sorry about such a late update. I have been thinking long and hard about this story and I have some pretty big things in plan for AJ. She will turn out to be a lot more then what she seems. I'm really excited to have you read it!!.

"I can't believe it. Mom?. A hunter?."
"I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen it myself. She...She was amazing. She could kick some serious ass. I mean, she almost took me down," I smiled, my eyes not on my two brothers in the front of the car, staring out at the blackened landscape as we drive.
"How'd she look?. I mean...Was she happy?."
"Yeah. Yeah, she was awesome. You know, funny, smart, beautiful, kind. So...So hopeful. You know, dad too. Until, of course..."
"What?," Dean asked, hearing Sam sigh making me finally tear my eyes away from the window.
"Nothing. It's just, our parents and now we find out our grandparents too?. Our whole family, murdered. And for what?. So Yellow Eyes could get in my nursery and bleed in my mouth?."
"Hang on, AJ never said anything about demon blood. You knew about that?."
"Yeah, for about a year."
"A whole year?."
"Look, I should've told you. I'm sorry."
"You've been saying that so much it should be your official catchphrase. Whatever. What's one more kept secret, hey?," I snarked, turning my eyes back to the view outside, moving my hand to the locket around my neck, clutching it in my palm, squeezing it gently, willing myself not to break down yet again.

"Well, you sure that's him?," Dean asked, looking through a pair of binoculars, watching a seemingly normal looking guy moving about in the house opposite where we've parked.
"Only Jack Montgomery in town," Sam answered.
"What exactly are we looking for?. The dude to go all Fright night on her or something?," I asked, smirking a little, seeing absolutely nothing wrong with this Montgomery guy.
"Travis said to keep an eye out for anything weird."
"Weird?," Dean scoffed, lowering the binoculars.
"Yeah."
"All right, well, yeah, I've seen big weird, little weird...Weird with crazy on top. But this guy...Come on, this guy's boring."
"I don't know, Dean. Travis seemed pretty sure."
"Umm, guys?. I'd say that qualifies as weird," I said, looking through my own pair of binoculars, watching Jack start to look through the refrigerator in the kitchen, pulling things out, starting to eat them really, really fast, making me begin to feel slightly nauseous.
"Yeah, I'd definitely classify that as weird," Sam said, all three of us watching him move from cooked meat to raw.
"I think I'm gonna be sick."

"Travis," Dean grinned, the three of us walking into the motel room finding him sat at the table with an opened bottle of beer. "See, Sam?. Told you we should've hid the beer."
"Smart-ass. Get over here," Travis laughed, hugging Dean. "You too."
"Good to see you, Travis," Sam smiled, returning his hug.
"It's been...What, an eternity?," I grinned, moving in for my hug, finding he still seems to smell the same, alcohol and aftershave, making me think of when we knew each other when I was still a kid.
"Sure feels like it, sweetheart. You both got tall!. How long has it been?."
"Gotta be ten years," Sam smiled.
"You still a...?. Oh, what was it?. A mathlete?."
"No."
"Yep, sure is," Dean laughed, hitting Sam on the back making me snort.
"Been too long. I mean, look at you. John would've been proud of you, sticking together like this."
"Yeah. No, we're think as thieves. Nothing is more important then family."
"Sorry I'm late for the dance. Thanks for helping out an old man. I'm a little short-handed. So you track down Montgomery?," Travis asked, the four of us sitting down at the table.
"Yeah, we found him at his home," Sam answered.
"And?."
"He had a hell of a case of the munchies. Topped off with a burger he forgot to cook," Dean told him, those words making me begin to feel nauseous all over again remembering Jack chowing down the raw meat.
"That's him, all right."
"What exactly is he?," I asked, looking at Travis.
"Well, we got a Rougarou on our hands."
"A Rougarou?. Is that made up?. That sounds made up," Dean said.
"They're mean, nasty little suckers. Rotted teeth wormy skin, the works."
"But he looked normal," I frowned.
"He'll turn ugly soon enough. They start out human for all intents and purposes."
"So they go through some sort of...Metamorphosis?."
"Yep, like a maggot turning into a blowfly. But most of all, they're hungry."
"Hungry for what?," Dean asked.
"At first, for everything. But then for long pig."
"Long pig?."
"He means human flesh," Sam told him.
"And that is my word of the day."
"Hunger grows in until they can't fight it. Until they gotta take themselves a big, juicy chomp and then it happens," Travis explained.
"What happens?," Sam asked.
"They transform completely and fast. One bite's all it takes. Eyes, teeth, skin all turns. No going back either. They feed once, they're a monster forever. Jack's headed there on a bullet train."
"Well, how'd you find this guy if he's a walking, talking human?," Dean asked.
"It runs in his family. Killed his daddy back in '78. Son of a bitch mangled eight bodies before I put him down. Guy used to be a dentist. Cadillac. Trophy wife. Little did I know, pregnant trophy wife. She put the boy up for adoption. By the time I found out, he was long gone, lost in the system."
"You mean to tell me you couldn't find someone?."
"I'm not sure I wanted to. The idea of hunting down some poor kid. I don't think I'd had the heart. No, I wanted to wait. Make damn sure I had the right man. Apparently I do."
