(Seto/Makoto x Harem)

2. Chapter 2 Part 1

Duel Two: Pretend not to know me. (Part one)

(Pov: Sakura Oogami)

Makoto Naegi is, at least in nature, a Paradox. A seemingly absurd or self-contradictory statement or proposition that when investigated or explained may prove to be well-founded or true, or at least that is what it means when it pertains to statements at the very least. In terms of people however Makoto Naegi is the perfect definition of a paradox. He says that he is normal in almost every sense of the word and a commoner, but he has not only made rapid friendships with Byakuya Togami and Chihiro Fujisaki- Which in of itself should be impossible- he also can keep up with them with whatever they are talking about! Normally this would not be a problem for any Ultimate that has talents that work in either of their fields, not the so-called "Most Normal" or "Vegan Male" of the class. But that is not where it ends. His height, which he claims to be 160 cm or 5 feet and 3 inches, is actually slightly shorter than Mondo by just one American inch and one centimeter, how this is possible is strange as well because not even Kyoko the Ultimate detective can figure out how that is even possible, or how he can have hypochromic at times. Yes if anyone was to watch Makoto while in class while he was working on tests and such his eyes would change from their usual faded emerald hue to a fierce sapphire one of each in both eyes. When asked about what was going on with Makoto's eyes to Makoto's own face he just shrugged and asked if that was normal for other people to do that as well. Which is not normal for that to happen. As somebody that has more than a basic understanding of how the body is supposed to function and what pressure points are used to break it in ways that would seem surgical, I can guarantee that what Aoi saw in that classroom is not a normal thing to see from a human being. And there was also the thing that really stumped me when I met Makoto on the first day it was as seen by me that he should not be muscular and essentially be what I was like when I was younger, Skinny and unassuming, but that was swiftly contradicted on the second day of classes when he walked into the gym not only at full height but with rippling muscles that made all of the women in class blush, hell Junko and Sayaka whistled at the sight!

Again he was in fact a paradox. Somebody that was understandably out of the spotlight for one reason or another, but it is one I will get to the bottom of one way or another.

"Makoto-san."

"Oh Hey Sakura-San! What's up?" Asked Makoto

"I was wondering if you would like to spar with me after class?" I asked, 'I hope this will work.'

"Sorry Sakura, I can't do it today. I got to meet a friend of mine after school today. He has been itching to see me for a couple of weeks now." said Makoto with a smile, although what he did not know was that I saw his eyes turn blue for a moment, "Maybe Tomorrow though."

"Of course, thank you for your time," I said before leaving the classroom itself to meet up with Aoi in the gymnasium. It was only a couple of minutes walk from the class to the gym with minimal problems and I could already see Aoi jumping around the room with the Ultimate Gymnast Akane Awari while the Ultimate Coach Nekomaru Nidai was eating his lunch and watching them bounce around and having fun.

I sat with the Gentle Giant with my lunch pulled out and noticed something strange sitting next to him other than his usual larger than needed bento box. It was an original model duel disk with slight modifications for an unknown deck.

"Nekomaru, what is this about?" I asked

"Oh that, that shit is Aoi's. She wanted me to watch over it for a bit while she let her energy out. She said something about meeting with her teacher today or some shit like that, I would not know anything about what is going on in that brain of hers for thinking that this would catch on as a sport but who am I to judge." asked Nekomaru

"Do you know who she is going to be learning from?" I asked, "If she thinks it might be a new sport, I thought you would be the first person to instruct her."

"Nope! She has been learning from some big shot within the game called "Seto Kaiba" whoever the hell his name is." said Nekomaru, "He set up a tournament a couple of years back that overtook a whole city. It must be at least a little popular in order to do that but not popular enough to be a sport."

I only nodded at that, it was something for him to think, and I can see why he would think that, but this was Aoi, somebody that could see the best in almost anything and even more so in donuts, so in a way it was intriguing to see her so excited about this.

"Oh hey, Sakura!" shouted Aoi before she appeared right before me, noticing me, "How's it going!"

"Going well I would say, although Makoto shot down my offer to spar with him again," I said

"You're still trying to ask him about that? But Nagie is so uninteresting," said Akane

"First off, that is not his name. And second off you have not even seen what he looks like underneath all those baggy clothes, it's like he grows five feet!" said Aoi with a grin on her face

"I still don't see it! Nato is just that uninteresting and weak that he would just fall over!" said Akane

"Well, he is the guy that got me introduced to Seto Kaiba! So he must be cool enough to do it!"

"oh?"

"Yha! Since Makoto is the son of Manfred Naegi and he works with Kaiba-Kun he was able to ask him to teach me how to duel! And I got to say I got damn good at it too!" said Aoi, "He said that I might be able to beat him today if I am really good enough!"

"Who? Mako or Kaiba?" asked Akane

"Both!" said Aoi, "Well Kaiba-Kun said it in his own way, but I know he meant it!"

"Well If you don't mind, can I perhaps go with you to see this duel." I asked, "To give you Support for it at the very least."

"SURE! I might have to tell him about you coming along though, these are private lessons after all!" said Aoi before she pulled out her phone as I was brought back deep into my thoughts, so Seto Kaiba and Makoto Naegi were linked in some way, strange, but it was enough to go off of, for now, maybe Kaiba was strong enough to train Naegi? Or Maybe Makoto was the reason Kaiba got into duel monsters? Whatever the reason for their knowledge of each other it was something that was awfully interesting.

(Pov: None-Location: Domino City Park)

"Calm down Aoi, if you get any more excited you might break something," said Sakura, although the smile on her friend's face was infectious enough to spread to her own face

"I know but I just can't help it! I have been waiting to do this for close to a few months now!" said Aoi, "I just hope I am able to beat him this time!"

"Hold on, you have not beaten him yet?" Asked Sakura

"Nope!" said Aoi, Although she really did not seem all that troubled by it, "He has only been beaten by one person so far, but I am going to try to be the second!"

"A good goal, but can you surpass it today."

Aoi suddenly turned at the voice with blinding speeds with a smile on her face, she spoke soon after, "SETO!" she launched into him and gave him an almost bone-crushing hug and despite not acting like it he clearly winced upon impact with the missile-like girl, "It is so good to see you again!"

"The pleasure is all mine I assure you, Now what is this about being the only other person to defeat me?" Asked Seto with a cocky and confident smirk

"OH, YOU KNOW IT! You know that I have come close with my imperfect deck! So beating you now would just be perfect!" said Aoi finally putting on her custom duel disk, "You ready to lose your winning streak Seto!"

"'Ready?' you talk like you have won already, but you should know that you should back up your smack talk with skill!" said Seto as his duel disk was slammed onto his arm and Placed his hud onto his face over his Left eye before almost instinctively letting his eye flash Green going hypochromic, as the HUD blazed to life over his eye.

"DUEL!" They both shouted before both of them drew five cards before Aoi shouted, "I'll go first! I draw!"

[Seto Kaiba Life Points: 8000| Aoi Asahina Life Points: 8000]

"I think it is time for me to play this out the gate! I play the spell card Ursartic Dryton! this card allows me to banish the field spells "Ursartic Big Dipper" and "Dryton Fafnir" from my hand or field in order to fuse them! In this case, though, I BANISH THEM FROM THE HAND!" Aoi removed both cards from her hand and slid them into the discard pile compartment of her duel disk as they slid down into a separate compartment, "I Special summon my Usartic Airship of destruction! "Ursatron, the Celestial Polar Illumaship!"

As if on cue a giant ship seemed to star plummeting from the sky only to engage its thrusters last second before it hit the ground onto Aoi but instead of flinching at what just happened she only smirked and drew a card from her hand and slid it into the discard slot, "By discarding an Ursartic card that is Level seven I am able to special summon this card from my hand without tributing, come to me! Ursartic Megapolar!"

At her command a large bear-like mech made of pure platinum seemed to come out of the large spaceship and crashed into the ground in front of Aoi, she spoke again, "Sadly though, this is where this combo ends, I set two cards and I end my turn."

"A fantastic showcase, but let us see what your combo is able to do when my assault comes your way! I draw!" Said Seto as he drew for turn, the card disappearing into thin air, "I play the spell card "Light of Kisara", which allows me to summon one "Blue-Eyes" or "Eyes of Blue" at the cost of Banishing one Fusion Monster which requires those Materials! I SUMMON BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!"

A woman with blues eyes soon appeared behind Seto before a beam of light erupted around the woman and as it dissipated a giant white dragon that shared the woman's eyes, it coiled around Seto as he grabbed a holographic card and showed it to Aoi, "I reveille a Blue-eyes white dragon from my hand in order to summon a fantastic alternative, Come "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon''!" As soon as the card left his hands the dragon popped out of the ground in full-powered glory before coiling around its master in a protective stance ready to strike if need be. "I set two cards and I end my turn."

"You really think that you can hide your set cards from me Aoi, I can read it like an open book! You decided to play that Ice Barrier set the card to try and bait out my monsters! Well, I won't allow it!"

"It might trigger on effect but that won't stop me! I DRAW!" Shouted Aoi, "I activate my set card! "Ursartic Departure"! Which allows me to discard one card and search out two Ursartic Monsters from my Deck to my Hand! Which I draw "Ursartic Mikbilis"and "Ursartic Megabilis"! But that is not all! I use the Spell card trade-in! Which Allows me to draw a monster after discarding a Level Eight or Seven Monster!" Aoi drew a card and smirked slightly before shouting, "I Use the Effect of "Salvage" from my hand, Which allows me to target two cards from my graveyard (discard pile) that have 1500 or lower attack points! I target "Ursartic Mikbilis" and "Ursartic Miktanus" which I used for the effect of "Trade-In" and "Ursartic Megapolar"!"

"Is that all? Setting up your hand again is not something that you would normally do, what are you trying here?" Asked Seto

"Well, you are about to find out! I summon "Ursartic Mikbilis" from my hand by sending "Ursartic Miktanus" to the graveyard!"

Another bear Mech crashed into the ground next to Ursartic Megapolar although this time it was more beast-like and less human. Aoi smirked before grabbing both cards and flashing them at Seto before speaking, "Let's do some simple math here! Eight minus Seven is One! So that means that I am able to summon a Level One Monster from the Difference of "Ursartic Megapolar" and "Ursartic Mikbilis" by sending them to the graveyard! I summon "Ursartic Polari"!" both monsters suddenly started to shut down and be reduced to dust and rubble in a matter of seconds with something left in its place, a cute white robotic bear that had stars in its eyes, "Thanks to Summoning "Ursartic Polari" I can Activate "Ursartic Big Dipper" from my deck, and summon one "Ursartic" Monster from my graveyard once per turn, and I summon, "Ursartic Megapolar"! But before I make use of it, I activate my Field Spell "Ursartic Big Dipper"!"

"You are Boring me Aoi, Get to the point," said Seto

"I plan to! The Difference between "Ursartic Megapolar" and "Ursartic Polari" is Seven! So I summon "Ursartic Grand Chariot '', My Faithful Reaper from the skies above!"

As if the Heavens were being ripped asunder the clouds parted and the water around the park started to churn as this Massive Mecha with a giant Scythe fell toward the ground with grace and majesty just Barely landing behind Aoi with Little less than a thud.

"Thanks to my summoning of "Ursartic Grand Chariot" I am able to destroy two of your monsters!" both dragons were destroyed at Aoi's declaration, "Now! Let's get on the Offensive! "Ursartic Grand Chariot", ``Let Loose the barrage and attack his life points directly!"

"I activate my counter trap! "Counter Gate", which allows me to draw a card once directly attacked, and if the card I draw is a monster card I can summon it without cost! I summon "Kidmodo dragon"!"

"Sadly Seto, I am not going to fall for THAT trap again! I end my turn there!"

"I draw!" said Seto, "You have me on the ropes, you should be proud that you were able to get me of all people to this point in the first place. But you should know that I always have a counter, I activate "Kisara's Blessing"! This allows me to summon two "Blue-Eyes" monsters from the graveyard at the cost of half of my life points, COME "BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON" AND "BLUE-EYES ALTERNATIVE WHITE DRAGON"!", "But that is not the end, Because I will show you how to really duel! I activate the effect of Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon and destroy your monster! Destroy "Grand Chariot" Alternative white dragon!"

"I activate "Grand Chariot"'s effects!" said Aoi with spunk in her voice and movements, it was as if she was hesitant, but still willing to dish out the attack that was coming

"WHAT!"

"Grand Chariot allows me to negate the effect of a monster, spell, or trap car once per turn if it targets an Ursartic monster! And you know what that means! Your dragon is done for this turn either way! But just to silence the voices even more! I activated my Trap Card, the one you thought was Ice Barrier, "Ursartic Quick Charge!" and I activate its first effect! At the cost of 700 life points, I am able to draw one Ursartic card from my graveyard and bring it back to my hand!"

"But I can still attack you Hina! I Attack with Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Attack, Grand Chariot!"

"I activate my trap card! "Ice Barrier"! Which changes your Attack to Zero and you take the damage from "Grand Chariot's" Attack!"

"What's wrong Seto, You're Losing your touch!" Claimed Aoi, "You would have noticed that I had both of those traps set from the moment I played "Ursartic Grand Chariot"! Hell, you even pointed out which trap would be the one to stop you in your tracks the moment the duel started! So why are you making all these rookie mistakes! Don't hold back against me!"

"But is that really what you want?"

"Wha-"

"Do you really want me to go all out against you? I have gone all out against you many times, so why do you want me to go all out?" asked Seto but looking closer at him told the whole story to both Sakura and Aoi. His eyes were pure green, something that was only shared with only one other person, which strangely enough when his eyes changed colors was pure blue.

"Makoto? What are you-?" "Don't question it right now, But for Now Aoi, I shall not hold back any longer!" said Makoto as his eyes went into a state of Hipocromia before drawing out a card from his 'hand', "I played a quick spell, "Kisara's Renewal! This card allows me to draw a card for every "Blue-Eyes" Monster in my graveyard, so I draw two cards!" Makoto drew the two cards before letting the other one go into the either and revealing the other one in his hand, "I play the Hand trap, "Revival of Kisara!", at the cost of banishing a "Kisara '' spell or trap card from my graveyard to activate its effects! And I banished, "Light of Kisara!" in order to activate its effects! I summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon'' and "Blue-Eyes White Knight ``!''

Behind Seto, a Knight with pure white armor and a long polearm and giant shield Appeared beside the white dragon in a protective stance. Aoi smirked at the summon of this monster and she knew that things from now on were getting serious.

"Now Aoi… It is your move," said Seto with a smirk on his face.
