Duel Five: The Song Of Love Or The Smell Of It (Part 2)

"I guess it is my turn." Said Sayaka, "I DRAW!" as she looked upon the card in her hand she flinched and looked upon her hand, it was mainly spells and one or two monsters… this was a problem. 'What the hell am I going to do! Makoto Basically just locked me out of ninety percent of my monsters! And there is no telling what will happen if Celestia uses another one of those deck trap cards she has! I got to play it safe.', "I set a Monster face down card and End my turn"

"I Draw for a turn then." Said Celestia, "Because I have More life points than both of you I am able to Normal Summon my monsters twice thanks to "Aromage Jasmine" Effect. I summon "Aromage Canaga" in Attack Mode."

One again from the bushes came a young male with pure blond hair wearing green robes and a staff in hand with the smell of a canaga candle wafting through the air with a fresh smell of upturned earth came with it, he turned his head toward the other monsters on the field and raised his hands toward them. Vines suddenly burst from the ground in spectacular fashion and they wrapped around every single monster on the field before binding them in until they formed a bridge of vines with Canaga flowers blooming from them and some of the monsters as well.

"What the hell?"

"Canaga's Effect."

"What!" asked Sayaka as she looked over to Makoto to see he was wincing at the sight of his monsters being bound in such strange ways

"His effect is simple, when the user gains Life points he is able to bring spell cards on the opponent's side of the field back to their user's hand, but when his user's life points are higher than her opponents, Canaga is able to decrees his opponents ATK and DEF points by 500… look at our monsters."

Sayaka looked down at her duel disk, her eyes widened in shock at what she saw.

"That is the thing, it is not a powerful monster, at least on its own. Like how it is not the strongest smelling herb in Aromatherapy. It is thematic in a way, that the weakest monster in terms of raw effectiveness is the strongest of the bunch in their current state. But you must remember I still have things I can do with this game. So I ask you both, are you ready for the monster I drew the last turn? Because it will win the game before you two have the chance to blink."

Celeste set a card down at that statement and a little fairy woman started to fly around her before she went over to the field where she sat atop Rosemary's Head with a slight chuckle.

"This card is "Aromaseraphy Angelica". And I am able to use this card as a Tuner Monster, which when my monsters are at a Mathematical Level I am able to summon a monster from my extra deck called a Synchro Monster… and this monster is the one that will end this duel right now. LEVEL ONE "AROMASERAPHY ANGELICA" LEVEL FOUR "AROMAGE ROSEMARY"! Let the flowers bloom upon your entrance to the field of flowers before you, Invade the space of battle, and show the world the power of your glorious winds! SYNCHRO SUMMON! "AROMASERAPHY ROSEMARY"!" Shouted Celeste

And as those words were uttered Angelica grabbed a strand of Rosemary's hair and pulled before a flash of light enveloped both of them until only one remained within the light. When the light dissipated Rosemary was still there but changed drastically, she had wings, fairy wings that were as clear as glass with golden lines running through them as the only bit of structure, not only that but her hair was long and she had a staff in hand made of Canaga's vines with the smell of rosemary in the air.

"But that is not all. "Aromaseraphy Rosemary" effect activates when I have a higher life point total than my opponents. All my monsters including this one gain 500 attack and defense points." said Celeste, "With this, I end my turn."

Makoto's eyes turned pure blue as he shouted, "I DRAW!" as he drew. "Makoto" looked at the card and inwardly flinched, "Makoto we need to use it." said the voice in his head

"We can't Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" right now, I know that we are going to get tribute fodder soon but we both know Sayaka does not know about who I am. Let's save it for now ok," said Makoto

"Fine, But just know if things get bad I will summon it."

"The Effect of "Blue-Eyes White Knight" Resolves and Great Knight Leaves the field." said Makoto, "I activate Palidan's Effect! If "Blue-Eyes White Paladin" is in the graveyard. It Banishes itself in order for me to draw two more cards this turn." Makoto drew two more cards and looked upon them.

"This will work."

"I Normal Summon "Blue-Eyes White Soldier ``!'' Said Makoto

Almost as if she was bathed in light itself she fell from the sky and landed in a superhero pose upon the concrete floor with her blue cape covering her pure white dragon wings, she wore minimal armor and was dressed in burned white robes with a Golden Lance in hand witch was shone through her pure white hair.

"Thanks to the effect of Canaga it loses 500 ATK points, but that won't matter," said Makoto

"Oh, how so, it is a Level one! How can it possibly not matter to summon a level one with little to no Atack power." Asked Celeste
"I would suggest that you look again."

Celeste looked down at her duel disk and her Eyes widened in shock, "What the heck? Why does it have 4000 Attack points normally!"

"What!" said Sayaka, she looked at hers as well and as she saw, it was truly one level one monster that was able to have 4000 ATK.

"That is mainly because of its effect, It's Effect is that it is able to decrease its Atack points in order to increase its Level. Sadly this Effect is Useless on its own but its other effect is what makes it unique. It is able to only be removed from the field if it is used as a Synchro Material." said Makoto, "In order to make it work I need to do something a little strange, I activate "Blue-Eyes White Mage's" Effect which allows me to tribute a dragon Monster On my field in order to summon a tuner from the deck of my choice. I tribute "Blue Eyes Mage Knight" in order to summon "Blue-Eyes White Recrute"."
From behind Makoto a bright light with a shadowed figure running toward him. The light dissipated to reveal a woman with short white hair and blue eyes in fine blue leather that was covered by slightly dented and worn white armor. She ran past Makoto and tripped on thin airdropping her rusted lance down onto the ground, she stood up in a flash and grabbed her lance and with a smile ready herself for battle.

"I activate the "Blue-Eyes White Soldier's" effect! I declare Level 3. And now it is time for me to bring out a monster with her hands on her draconic past as if it was a weapon of war instead of just another feature of her! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Level 4 "Blue-Eyes White Knight" and Level 3 "Blue-Eyes White Soldier" tune with Level 1 "Blue-Eyes White Recrute"! Knee before the one that freed your race and wish upon the ones that lead you to victory! Come "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade"!

The three monsters Erupted into a blinding flash of light before the lights converged into one light next to "Blue-Eyes White Mercenary", as the light started to dissipate "Blue-Eyes White Mercenary" started to bow before the figure beside her. The woman that came from the light was a tall monster in a white trench coat with blueish armor poached along the shoulders and the back of the coat. Along her waist were two blades that were concealed within two brown sheaths with the hilts of the blade being the only thing that was pure white, being the only hint about the blade's true color. The woman herself, unlike the others, was built more like a seductress, more curvaceous and less combat built, and her wings reflected this, while yes they were pure white but they were more reflective like they were meant as mirrors for the woman to gaze upon her beauty. Her eyes were like the day sky, almost as if it was clear as day and her White hair was something that anybody would be able to appreciate, but it was her skin that was the most different, unlike the others who had pale white skin she had chocolate brown skin that gave her an untamed beauty.

"Her Effect Activates When she is Summoned, If there is another 'Blue-Eyes' or 'Kisara' Monster on the Field, "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" gains 500 ATK points for each of them because there is only one other monster on the field right now so her total goes from her Being Affected by Canaga to her base ATK points of 2500." said Makoto, "But that is not all, I Activate her effect to summon a "Blue-Eyes" or "Kisara" Tuner from my graveyard, I summon "Blue-Eyes White Recrute" from the grave and once she is summoned "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" gains 500 ATK points now giving her a total of 3000 ATK points! We will now battle, I attack "Harpie Oracle" With "Blue-Eyes White Mercenary" and Activate Her Effect which allows her to gain 500 ATK points when attacking a monster."

"I shall activate the effect of my trap card "Blessed Winds", this has three effects but i can only activate one per turn, I activate its second Effect which allows me to send one "plant" monster from my grave to my deck and I send "Aromage Vanilla" to from the grave to the deck and gain 500 life points, I chain this effect with my trap card "Dried Winds" to destroy your monster when I gain life points, I target "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" for this effect."

"I activate "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" Effect, Once per turn, she can lose 500 ATK points and negate a card effect, I Negate the effect," said Makoto

"I activate the effect of "Harpie's Feather Rest" and chain it with it with "Cyber Slash Harpie Lady" to not only bring three Harpie Ladys from the graveyard to my hand but thanks to Cyber Slashes effect I can bring a monster on my opponent's side of the field to the hand! I am targeting "Aromage Cananga"!"

Celeste Hissed at that before bringing the card back into her hand and shouting, "I activate my trap card "Humid Winds" this allows me to take 1000 damage and search out one "Aroma" Monster in my deck. I add "Aromaseraphy Angelica" from my deck to hand,"

"But even that won't stop the battle going through, I continue my attack on both of you by attacking Sayaka with "Blue-Eyes White Mercenary" and I shall Attack "Aromage Jasmine" with "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" and destroy it!" Said, Seto

"That won't help! It is in the defensive position! There is no way for it to be pierced by your monster!" Said Celeste

"You're right, But not when I have this! I activate "Kisara's Destruction" from my hand! This allows me to banish two "Blue Eyes" monsters and I Attack Directly with one monster! Go "Blue-Eyes White Trueblade" Attack Celestia Directly!" Said Makoto

"AHHHHHRGGGHHH!" shouted Celeste as the monster in question slashed the gazebo in two and sent Celestia flying back in the process.

"Sorry Celestia, but you won't be getting any mercy from me." said Makoto, "I activate its second Effect by banishing it and returning two banished cards to the grave. I combo this with the effect "Blue-Eyes White Paladin" to draw two cards and I End my turn."

"You should not be so sure about that. Remember Harpie's Hunting Ground is still active on my side of the field, and while yes you have Canaga in the palm of your hand both me and Makoto have some dangerous cards in our hands! At this rate, I will last longer than you." Said Sayaka

"Sayaka you're wrong about that." Said Makoto, "Both of you are my targets, If I was working with you I would not have Attacked you and Instead went and Destroyed Canaga myself… but I did not, I am sorry for acting cold, but you both started this the moment you agreed to duel the master."

"Of course you would brag about that." Said Celeste, "You already have your main playmaker in your hand… don't you?"

"You can say that… or you can state the facts and say it is on the field already." Said Makoto, "My main strategy is right in front of you as we speak, sure it is only a matter of time before it is destroyed, but even then this deck is dangerous because of the plays I can create."

"Bragging again… how unlike you "Makoto" it is almost like you are a different person," said Celeste

"She is not wrong… but I have got to hold back on that for now! I DRAW!" Said Sayaka, "I activate the effect of "Harpie's Pet Dragon- Saint Fire Gia" and Summon it to the field in Defence Position!"

The ground erupted in a blaze of fire and glory as winged and clawed Tallon came from the earth in a blaze with the rest of its red draconic body coming with it as a golden chain wrapped around the taloned "fingers" of Cyber Slash Harpie Lady as it finally came from the ground and let out a demonic roar!

"I normally Summon Another "Harpie Oracle" and Activate the effect of "Harpies Hunting Grounds" to destroy one Spell or Trap Card on the field! I destroy "Dried Winds" and chain it with Cyber Slashes Effect to target one card on the field and send it back to the hand, I target "Aromaseraphy Rosemary" and send it to the Extra Deck, Because Synchro Monsters can't be summoned from the hand!" Said Sayaka

"As pesky a play that is, I activate the effect of "Blessed Winds", this time however it's the first effect, I can send one of my Aroma cards in my hand to the grave to gain 500 life points, I chain it with Humid Winds to lose 1000 life points in order to bring an Aroma monster to my hand that is in my deck, I target "Aromage Canaga" and bring it to my hand. But That is not all, I activate the effect of "Aromaseraphy Rosemary", It can negate an effect whenever I gain Life points. I target that pesky "Cyber Slash Harpie Lady" and ``Negate its Effect!" said Celeste

"Well no matter, "Dried Winds" will still be destroyed. I activate the effect of-"

"I would not do that if I were you." came a voice from behind Sayaka

All three of them looked behind Sayaka, the field glitched out for a moment before settling around a man with a mullet resting atop his head.

"J-Jonouchi?"

"So the puppy came," muttered Makoto/Seto

"You don't want to chance it with either one of them right now… you need to play defensively right now… remember not all of your monsters are related to harpies, and they are not the best in terms of offense anyway. So hold your ground and be defensive." said Jonouchi, "End your turn Sayaka… As I said to you when you first started dueling, there is no chance if you don't take it… and right now this is your chance."

"Well now… this seems to be very interesting. I never knew a third party would be here," said Celeste.

"I just know what is coming." said Jonouchi, "I won't interfere more than I have."

"You better not," said Makoto

"Don't worry dragon boy, you know I won't," said Jonouchi

Sayaka thought about it for a moment before finally realizing something, she looked to the field and looked at Makoto, she could see his eyes, his pure blue eyes, they were glaring at Jonouchi. It was nothing too extreme, it was just a playful glare after all, but Makoto knew Jonouchi… why? Did they go to the same school? Did they understand the play he was about to make? What happened at that very moment? Whatever it was, Sayaka was aware that Jonouchi was hinting at something big… Time to jump on it.

"I set a card and end my turn!"

I summoned Canaga from the graveyard and summoned one from my hand. But I wish to continue, I activate the effect of "Humid winds" and Take 1000 damage to bring one "Aroma" Monster from my deck, I add "Aromage Rosemary" from deck to hand, And with that, I end my turn.

"Sorry, Sayaka… I kept this from you for too long." said Makoto, "I activated the effect of the spell card "Foolish Burial"! I send one card to the grave, and that card will be, "BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON ''!

"WHAT!"

"Here it comes!"

"Celeste, It is time for you to prepare for my final assault! Because this marks the end!" Said Makoto/Seto in complete unison as their Eyes changed from pure blue to green and blue.
