Chapter 15
Stephanie was excited to have her friends work at Rangeman. Robin, Carl and Big Dog moved into apartments on the fourth floor at Rangeman. April and Robin shared a room. Carl and Big Dog shared another unit. Vince gave up his apartment for the new guys, and he bunked with Hal. The TPD team started working at Rangeman a few weeks earlier.
"What's so funny?" Robin asked.
"Nothing," Stephanie replied.
"Didn't you hear?" April asked.
"Nope," Stephanie answered. "Shhh. They'll hear us."
"What's the plan?" Robin asked.
"I asked Ella to make these for us. Put them on," Stephanie instructed. Stephanie pulled on her Wonder Woman exercise clothes.
"You look hot," April said.
"Put on your clothes, April," Stephanie said. "I got Ella to make Captain Marvel. You get the option to wear the yoga pants or the boy shorts."
Robin pulled her clothes from the bag and laughed. "Supergirl?"
"Yup. Vince loves Superman movies," Stephanie replied. "I got Ella to make your top from the same fabric as the sports bras." Stephanie waited until everyone got changed before calling Hector. "Are they in the gym?"
"Yes. All are on the treadmill," Hector replied.
Stephanie laughed, "Awesome. Make sure you catch it on video."
"Why?" April asked.
"Ranger, Vince and Hal are on the treadmills," Stephanie replied.
They heard the three women laughing before opening the locker room door. When they stepped into the gym, Ranger, Hal, and Vince fell off the treadmills. Stephanie pretended she didn't notice them falling and went to the ring to spar with April and Robin.
"Remember, Robin, don't hit her face or jaw," April stated.
"We're working on your aggression again today, Steph. I'm going to feign hitting your face. If you get angry, punch my shoulder, and I'll stop. We'll practice kicks until you want to try again. April is here to talk you off the ledge. Are you ready?" Robin asked.
"Yes. I need to get over the uncontrollable anger," Stephanie replied. Stephanie was afraid her nieces or nephew would accidentally hit her face, and she'd hurt them.
"I know you want to see your nieces and meet your nephew. It's the reason I offered to help," Robin stated.
Robin and April worked with Stephanie for an hour before April shouted, "Robin, Enough!"
Ranger jumped into the ring to offer assistance. "I'm fine, Carlos," Stephanie whispered. "The girls kept me safe."
"You are one diabolical woman, Babe," Ranger huskily said in her ear.
"I don't know what you mean," Stephanie innocently said.
"Babe, look around the gym. What's missing?" he asked.
Stephanie laughed when the gym was noticeably empty of all men except for Carlos, Hal and Vince. Hal's face was beet red. Vince couldn't stop staring at Robin. Carlos dug his fingers into Stephanie's hips. He threw her over his shoulder and carried her into the men's locker room, making sure he locked the door behind them.
"Holy shit!" Robin said, fanning her face with the boxing glove. "Those two are so hot together."
"Come with me," Hal said. He grabbed April's hand before they ran back to his room.
"Do you like my workout clothes?" April asked, looking through her eyelashes at her man.
"You make Captain Marvel look sexy," he huskily said. He lifted April to his height, wrapping her legs around his hips. Hal kissed her with more passion than they shared before.
April rocked against Hal. "Please, baby. I need to feel you," April said.
"Are you sure?" Hal asked. "I thought you wanted to wait."
"Hal, I'm ready to self-combust," she moaned. Hal dropped April onto his bed before running towards the door. "What the hell?"
"Sorry, sweetheart. I had to put my tie on the door. We don't want Vince and Robin walking in on us," Hal replied.
"Baby, your bedroom has a door. I don't care if they screw each other's brains out in the next room," April retorted.
"I could do without that image," Hal said. He took his time loving April.
"Wow," April said, cuddling into Hal's side. "For an inexperienced man, you really know how to use your body." Her legs were like jello when she climbed from his bed.
"April, I know we haven't been together long, but I have loved you since we were children. Will you marry me?" Hal asked, tugging her back to the bed.
"Yes. Now?" April wondered. "I don't want to wait."
"Neither do I," Hal confessed. "We can get married tonight in Atlantic City."
"Only if Robin and Stephanie can come with us," April bartered.
"Sweetheart, you're bargaining while saying you don't want to wait?" Hal asked, grinning.
"Hey, a woman needs her besties before she can get married," she replied, laughing.
~~~~~
Robin pulled Vince to her apartment. "My bed's bigger," Vince said.
"I'd rather not hear my friend having sex," Robin said, pointing to his door.
"Fine," Vince said. Robin opened the door. Vince slammed her against the door, removing her clothes as he kissed her.
"Where did my clothes go?" Robin asked as Vince carried her to the bed.
"Gone," he said before silencing her with a kiss.
Vince dropped her on the bed then stripped off his clothes. He remembered to grab the condom he kept in his pants. "You carry a condom?" Robin asked.
"Since the day Stephanie gave me the green light," Vince replied. "Shh. No talking."
Robin was quite fine with getting silenced by Vince's kisses. He could make her orgasm from kissing alone. She moaned as Vince pushed her over. Vince picked up the pace as he held her hands above her head. Another orgasm ripped through her body. Vince climaxed as the bed crashed to the floor.
"Oh my god," Robin screamed before laughing hysterically.
"I'm never going to live this down," Vince groaned.
"Nope. It makes for an epic story," Robin laughed.
"What was that noise?" April asked. She got torn between seeing what broke and taking a shower.
"Shower first, sweetheart," Hal said, leading her to the washroom. He dumped her under the warm water and washed every inch of her skin. She reciprocated until Hal's alarm sounded. "I work in thirty minutes."
"Okay. I'm helping Bobby with his physiotherapy session today. Zero cooperates when I'm helping," April stated. "My uniform is in my apartment."
Hal got dressed. He pulled one of his shirts over April's body, fitting her like a dress. "I like seeing my shirt on you," Hal whispered.
"If we get married tonight, where will we sleep?" April wondered.
"I own a house just outside the city. It's a twenty-minute commute," Hal replied.
"We could always stay in mom's apartment," April suggested.
"Mom?" Hal wondered to whom she was referring.
April giggled. "Ella. She's my surrogate mom."
Vince opened the door before April could use her key. His face was near as red as Hal blushes. "What happened?" Hal asked.
"We broke Robin's bed," Vince replied. April nearly fell on the ground laughing.
"You've got to be joking," April said.
"Nope," Robin shouted from her room. "Take a look."
April saw the broken wooden frame that used to be Robin's bed. "So, Robin. Is Vince smashing in bed?" April asked, laughing.
"Shut up. Bye, Vince and Hal. I need a shower, and April needs to change out of her dress," Robin yelled.
As she showered, Robin told April what had happened. "I heard the bed creak and thought it would hold. When he released, the bed crashed. It was scary and erotic at the same time," she said.
"I would have died from embarrassment," April stated. "Um. Robin?"
"Yes, baby girl?"
"Do you work tonight?" April shyly asked.
"Why are you acting shy, April? Did Hal propose?"
"Ya. We're going to Atlantic City tonight. I want you and Steph to come with us," April replied. Robin jumped out of the shower to hug April. "Rob, I told you to stop hugging me when you're naked."
"Sorry, baby. I'm happy for you," Robin said, accepting the towel from April. Robin wrapped the towel around her body before helping April braid her hair.
"Thanks, Robin." April folded Hal's shirt and stuck it under her pillow. "Call Luis to remove the broken bed."
~~~~~
"Babe, you're playing with fire," Ranger said as he tore the exercise clothes from Stephanie's body.
"Maybe I want to get burnt," she moaned. He pinned Stephanie to the shower wall and pressed into her. "Ah. You feel good."
"Did you enjoy yourself?" Ranger asked as he ground into her.
"Only if it made the men uncomfortable," Stephanie honestly replied.
"I had to clear the gym. The guys got worked up watching the three of you in the ring," Ranger explained. He kissed from Stephanie's ear to her collarbone. "Babe, I was so hard from your… costume that I nearly tore my pants. Do you feel how hard I am?"
"Mmm, yes," Stephanie moaned. "So hard and good."
"Wrap your legs around me," he whispered. Stephanie raised her left leg, but the other one wouldn't cooperate. Ranger pulled up her right leg, wrapping it around the left. "Please tell me Ella made more than one."
"She made me ten," Stephanie moaned.
"Those are for my eyes only." Ranger worked her to a frenzy. He stopped whenever she got close.
"Please, Carlos. I promise. For your eyes only," she begged.
"Babe," Ranger said before pushing her over the edge. He turned on the shower to wash her before getting her dirty again.
Tank banged on the locker room door. Stephanie had a meeting in a few minutes. "Ranger, Little Girl," Tank yelled.
"She's got a great set of lungs," Lester said as Stephanie screamed. "Do you think she knows her voice echos?"
"They've been in there for an hour," Binkie complained.
Ranger washed and rinsed Stephanie's hair. "We have meetings soon. Tank's ready to break into the room," Ranger said.
He grabbed a towel to help Stephanie dry her hair. She got dressed in the Rangeman clothes Ranger gave her. "Why do I have clothes in here?" Stephanie asked.
"I had one in my locker," Ranger replied. Ranger prepared for any situation involving his wife, especially if it meant sexy times in the locker room shower.
Stephanie pulled her hair into a ponytail before exiting the locker room. Her Wonder Woman clothes got tossed into the trash. Ranger placed his hand on her lower back as he followed her out the door.
"Is my 9 am appointment here?" Stephanie asked.
"Yes, you're fifteen minutes late," Tank replied.
She shrugged and walked past the men lurking around the locker room door. Stephanie looked towards the camera and winked.
Hector laughed as he watched the video replay. He started it at the moment the three women exited their locker room. Stephanie was diabolical. He watched the men's reaction to the three women's clothes. A few discretely fixed themselves until the women climbed into the ring. When Robin worked with Stephanie to help her through the anger, half of the men left. Hector noticed the men return to their fourth-floor apartments.
Ranger entered the elevator with Stephanie. "No more antics with the other women, Babe."
"Fine. Ruin our fun. The number of times they got me hot and bothered while strutting around the gym. Now I can't make them suffer," Stephanie groaned.
"You can get me hot and bothered anytime you want. Remember, turn around is fair play," Ranger growled.
"Oh, boy," Stephanie thought.
~~~~
Joseph Morelli entered his son's bedroom. The crib sat empty along the wall. He sat on the rocking chair and cried. His phone rang in the other room. Joe answered the phone with a gruff, "Hello."
"What have you done?" Angie Morelli screamed into the phone.
"It wasn't my fault," Joe replied.
Angie Morelli was furious. She spent the next hour telling Joe what he did wrong and why behaving like his father was unacceptable. "Bring your family home," Angie ordered.
"No, mom. I will not force Carol to stay with me. Carol filed for divorce. I love Stephanie, but she is married to Manoso," Joe explained.
"Idiot," Angie screamed. "You are a cheater like your father. If you loved Stephanie, then you never would have cheated on her."
"You're right, mom. Maybe I don't know how to love," Joe said before hanging up. Angie shook her head, wondering when her boys would learn.
Joe called Carol to leave a message. He said the divorce papers got signed and given to his lawyer. Joe didn't contest custody of Joey, but he wanted to visit with his son.
~~~~
Stephanie entered the first-floor conference room. She hugged Valerie tight. "Where are the kids?" Stephanie asked.
"With Shirley. I didn't want them to hit your face," Valerie replied.
"It's getting better, Val. I'm glad we could get together," Stephanie added.
"Me too. Can we carve some time into your busy schedule without having a meeting?" Valerie joked.
"Of course," Stephanie answered. The sisters spent time catching up. Stephanie learned that their dad filed for divorce because Helen refused to admit she was wrong. "Wow. I bet she's worried about what the Burg thinks."
Valerie shrugged. "It was a long time coming. Dad's happier," Valerie said.
"Robin, April, Lou and I are going out Friday night. Would you like to join us?" Stephanie asked.
Valerie grinned. "I would love to have a night out."
"Meet us here at 7 pm on Friday. My old cellphone number got reactivated. Call if you change your mind."
~~~~
Helen heard through the Burg that Carol divorced Joseph. She was disappointed it wasn't Stephanie divorcing that thug she married. "Frank? Can you get the door?" Helen called out. She was getting breakfast ready.
When she didn't hear Frank answer the door, she went to investigate. "Morning, ma'am. Are you Helen Plum?" the young man asked.
"Yes," Helen replied.
"I have a delivery. Could you please sign this form to say you've received it?" he asked.
Helen signed the paper on the clipboard and accepted the registered letter. "What is this?" Helen asked.
"Divorce papers. Your husband filed for divorce. Good day, ma'am," he replied before walking away.
"Why me?" Helen screamed. Her neighbours poked their heads out of their doors to see who had yelled. After seeing it was Helen, they went back inside.
