? P.O.V

We hide in the shadows, longing for the light.

There is no peace, no comfort.

The world moves on but we don't.

Time stands still for us.

He's there.

Watching.

Waiting.

Beware of he who did this to us.

Our treasure.

It belongs to our savior.

Only you who share our blood.

"Allen...maybe you should take a break?" A small hum escapes the pale boy's lips though he continues reading. Making the transparent blond haired woman sigh in exasperation. "Don't bother Auntie Lulu. Allen's too far gone into Grandpa Earl's diary to respond." It was more than just the diary.

All around Allen was books. Journals of several members of the Noah family that somehow survived the fire ten years ago. Documents that had been protected within fireproof safes detailing the finances and property relating to their mansion.

Hell, even photo albums showing the various individuals that had been friends and more importantly suspects involved with their deaths piled neatly in stacks. Despite his reluctance to assist at the beginning, the young teen was making up for lost time, heavily invested to see this through.

"This is why I don't like kids. They never listen to reason!" Road was chilling on one of the antique desks, kicking her feet back and forth softly. Though there was no sound from when she collided with the wood since she just went through it instead.

A sigh broke through the white haired boy as he shut the book. "Mr. Adams diary wasn't all that helpful." To be fair what Allen read was interesting and informative. Talking about the vast wealth he had obtained over the years.

Constantly referring to his beloved decorations and riches as his most precious treasure that he had stored away. And he did have a huge list of people that he friended and worked with. But nothing that could really help Allen figure out who killed everyone.

Immediately the two women glanced worriedly his way. "Damn and here I was hoping grandpa might've had something." Lulubell gave her niece a pointed look. Dead or alive she was not going to tolerate Road's potty mouth, even if she was technically ten years older then how she looked.

"Language young lady. And Allen, maybe Now you should stop and rest for a moment." The poor high schooler had been at it for several hours now. There were dark circles under his eyes, the bruises on his skin that wasn't covered up were even darker.

A blackish purple and several shades of blues against pale white. Neither woman asked about it however. Allen was already uncomfortable with the fact that the spirits dwelling here were actually his relatives. The fact that he was living with the broken Cross Marian made it even worse.

It didn't take a ghost whisperer to figure things out. And the vision bombs both Lulubell and Road kept accidently nailing him with weren't all that pleasant. Road after hearing some gun shots was hidden away in one of the dressers on the upper floor until she burned to death.

And Lulubell after making sure her niece was safely hidden away, ran out of the doors to search for her husband before being sniped in the back. Innocent victims who had no idea what truly happened that night.

"Maybe if we ask uncle Neah?" Lulubell found herself dimming at the mention of her husband. "He refuses to come out. He's been like that for years." Well at least Allen knew his uncle Was still there, albeit no help to him. "Why would he know anything?" Road refuses to look in his direction.

Glancing towards the door leading out of the library. Biting her lip she nervously continues, not even sure if she should answer given how much her uncle's changed in the last several years. Still...he was their only clue.

She had to try. "Well...he-he was going to take grandpa's place as head of the family. Out of everyone here, he'd know anyone and everyone that could've targeted us. He also would've known about all of the decisions grandpa was making for the company."

Neah despite marrying into the Noah family showed an incredible talent for business, with good charisma to boot. He had been welcomed as an asset, though there was no denying that a few of them were not happy with the news.

On top of that, before the three of them had split up, Neah was the one who went towards the shooting. He would've had the best chance in seeing the one responsible. "Do you think...one of you could've been a part of this?" Allen was struggling to make heads or tails of this mystery.

For an entire family to be murdered overnight with no evidence pointing fingers at suspects meant a cover up. Even with the fire, there still should've been some sort of lead! At the very least the discovery of their bodies. But this reeks of the cops being bribed or several people involved to cover tracks.

"No! Even if some people didn't like Neah taking over, he was family." Both girls were confident that if someone did anything it was someone from the outside. The Noah's weren't perfect. But family was always their number one priority.

They took care of each other. Lulubell sighed as she leaned against the wall, doing her utmost to not go through it. "Ever since his brother-Mana died. Neah got depressed. And then-we all died so suddenly...Even now as a ghost, he refuses to see anyone."

A thought comes to her then as she stares into silver and crimson. "Maybe...he'll see you Allen." She could remember the day things first started to go wrong. Where her beloved husband's sanity began reaching its breaking point.

'Dear you're pacing around like a madman.' Lulubell and Tyki watched the usually calm, polite man continue his patterned movements. Acting like a caged animal. 'Seriously Neah, you're going to make a hole in the floor if you keep this up. I'm sure your brother and nephew are just running a tad late.'

It was a good argument, a logical explanation. But it still didn't relieve the businessman of his concerns at all. 'They should've made it by now.' For too long he had been separated by his kin. Their reunion was long overdue.

This waiting around was bad for his heart. Especially considering the fact that Mana was never one to miss any given appointment. Neah had been so excited when he received a letter from his brother, revealing that he was bringing his young son over to visit.

'Something is wrong.' Both brother and sister glance at each other, he wasn't listening. Or rather he refused to listen. 'Lord Neah! Lord Neah! I bring news!' Minutes slowly turned to a couple hours before there was any sort of news.

However as the messenger comes barreling through the doors, a sinking feeling came to the family of aristocrats. 'Lord Neah-there is word of a Mana Cambell having been killed! His son missing.' His worst fears realized. 'No...'

Now stands before Lulubell the son of Mana Walker-no Mana Cambell, her nephew from her husbands bloodline. "Where does he linger?" Her eyes drift towards the window, taking in the bright sunshine gleaming through. It was a lovely day...if only she could feel the warm rays like she used to.

"He will be in our room on the third floor. The last door at the end of the hall. Though, don't be surprised if you can't get the door open. He's made it so only I can enter." Allen remembered that door. Or rather...he remembered a dark, negative aura.

Back during the Halloween party when Lenalee asked him for help. Going up towards the attic there was a malicious shadow hovering, though it never brought harm to him or his friends. "Then...I suppose I should go pay him a visit." Dusting himself off, the albino ghost whisperer heads out of the room.

Leaving the two dead women to watch him leave. "Do you really think uncle Neah will open up to him?" Road could understand her aunt's trail of thought, but she was skeptical...it's been over ten years and no one-with the exception of his wife has seen him. Let alone spoke to him.

"I can hope can't I? Maybe it will remind him of whom he once was, who he truly is. Besides...it will distract Allen long enough for us to handle a few problems of our own." The blonde haired lady could see beyond the glass a series of trucks and construction workers.

It was another irritating attempt at dismantling their home. But even more than that there were three little snoops that decided to sneak in through the back entrance on the first floor. Road could easily read the elder spirit's face and decided to smile.

Her eyes were glittering with amusement. It's been so long since she got to have fun. "I can handle Allen's friends. You take care of the construction crew~" With a small nod the two go their separate ways. Glad that they were the first to make these discoveries.

If any of their other relatives got to either of these little groups first well...let's just say things probably wouldn't go that great. Lulubell could feel a headache coming to her as she recalled the one time she had allowed her younger cousins Jasdero and Devit to get ahold of trespassing humans.

A terrible mistake. One that left several living people injured, a construction vehicle smashed into the house, leaving a rather huge whole and her literally pinching and stretching their white ashen faces until they began crying ectoplasm in large disgusting globs.

It was a miracle no one actually died. The last thing any of them needed were more occupants in the mansion. "Hopefully Road can scare those kids away before they hurt Allen." She sighs, feeling absolutely fatigued.

She didn't know how close they were to the teen, but she did know is that they were unaware of his abilities. Just the fact they came back here smelled trouble, but the moment they began calling for the white haired boy as soon as they entered spelled red flags. No matter what-he had to be protected.

Through marriage Allen Walker was part of the Noah family-and currently the only one still alive.

These people were searching for him.

Possibly to bring him harm.

That CANNOT Happen!

Author Notes: So that is another chapter done(and thankfully i've caught up on days as far as uploads are concerned) Is it sad how entertained I am writing about the ghosts and how human they are even when they're going through objects?

Seriously, i find it more interesting writing about them than the actual living characters who are supposed to take the spotlight-not counting Allen of course. But that is it for today everyone.

As always my friends, thanks so much for reading, please feel free to fav/follow/review if you like this story so far and I'll see you tomorrow for the next update. Tchao for now
