One Last Time

My retirement letter, with everything you all need to know on how much my time on here was worth it and that I had a great and enjoyable time throughout the years, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for everything you have done for me, and well what the future holds for me and I guess in a way you too! I won't go on, you just have to read to find out more!

Hey everybird! What's up!?

So this is it… My final last update of my very long time here after so many years. To finally put down the pen and go into retirement from writing stories on here, however it feels very wrong to just leave it without saying goodbye, at least for now and well extend my thanks and what the future will bring for me here!

So first of all, I want to say that my decision to retire is based sorely on me and what is going on in my personal life, it doesn't involve anything with you guys or anything you did, so don't worry about that! My life has been more busy over the past year and will continue to be so to the point where things are a little unpredictable and stressful. I won't explain it fully because I want to keep that personal.

Now I want to give my heartfelt thanks to all of you over my whole time here, you all have helped me out more than you may realize! I remember when I started out almost seven years ago, when I was just a lonely amateur, with not a really clear idea what I wanted to do when I made my very first chapter of my first story. However the outpouring of love and support from all those comments, favs, and follows I got over the years helped to inspire me to work hard and keep bringing stories as well as making them better and improving my craft as time went by.

There are seriously so many more things I can say about you all about how you helped made me the person I am today, to me, you all are like brothers and sisters. If I were to go back and relive all those years, to the day when I found this site, I would not change a single thing, the good or bad and happy or sad, I would want to keep everything what happened all the same!

Moving on, it's time I inform you all of what's going to happen next and why there's really no need to worry about my retirement at all and here's why…

While yes, I have decided to retire from writing stories, I have decided to not retire from this site completely! Let me explain…

First of all, while, again, I am done with writing, that doesn't mean my account is going anywhere anytime soon, nothing will be deleted, there is no chance I will get rid of all those years of work I put in! So you all can still reread or get a chance to read something you have yet to look at!

And second, I decided to remain here as like an adviser or consultant to all of you, so if you ever need help with anything on your end or just need someone to talk to, I will still be available and respond as soon as I can. And speaking of all of you, this gives me a chance to catch up on reading, that is if I have the time to sit down and do so!

Now, there comes the question of what will become of my unfinished stories as well as my characters and any development they might need… Well I decided that too! And my decision is basically to leave it to you all!

What I mean by this is that you all have free will to use my characters as you see fit, of course the exception being is that I very much would like it if you didn't put my characters in an M-rated story. Other than that, you can use my characters I created at your leisure, there is no need to ask me anymore if you can or not, but if you feel like you still need to ask me to be sure, than you may do so.

And the same goes for any of my unfinished stories, you all may take and finish them to your own imagination and desire, just as long as you do treat the stories right and with respect to what the settings and characters are like!

And while my long years of bringing many stories and tales has come to an end, my writing is still not done, for I'm still going to write community soapboxes for Equestria Daily, which I have been doing for quite awhile now. And no, it's not the same as writing here and if you want to check that out and my work there, you're free to do so!

I hope you all are not upset by my fateful decision, I know this was all of a sudden and unexpected, but like I once said, I knew that one day, even before I posted my first thing, that I would be done. However while back than, I thought I wouldn't last even a few months, it became almost seven years, so I think I'm long overdue now! And yeah, I think I told almost every story I ever wanted to make and I was really struggling to come up with new things! Not that I'm complaining, my time was truly worth it!

So, I think that's pretty much a wrap on everything that needed to be said, so I'll end it with one last thing…

Thank you all again so much and goodbye, but not for the last time!
