Prologue: Corekai City
On the far away planet of Quarton, a planet of impossibly cubic proportions, there stood a mighty and ancient fortress. As the sun rose over the flat sided horizon, it's gleaming silver and red turrets showed with all glory as its golden cannons glistened. Robots, no, Quartonians of many different colors bustled about and around this fortress. A blue quartonian mounted one of the cannons, swerving it into a new position so a yellow one could lubricate it's joints. A group of green quartonians work with power tools outside of the fortress, building new infrastructure around the walls as red quartonians drive in transports carrying new supplies from the nearby mines.
Standing above the front gates is a uniquely armored Quartonian, bearing colors from all the other four groups. His yellow legs stand tall, his torso black with blue armor, his green arms bearing a shield and staff. His helmet bears the proud red and silver that matches, by coincidence, the colors of their fortress. This is Beag. He is the high commander of the Corekai, a faction of quartonians dedicated to the protection of their world and of justice. Their new home is the ancient Tenkai Fortress, a structure built long ago that contained a mighty guardian. Beag had seen this guardian personally, the mighty Tenkai Wolf, called upon in their darkest hour in the final battle against Villius. With the greatest evil in all quartonian history finally vanquished, Beag had been tasked with the creation of a new city around the fortress.
Those had been the days of war, when he fought side by side with the greatest heroes this planet had known, the Tenkai Knights. They were four guardians blessed with elemental powers and masters of tenkai energy. They fought against the greatest of evils, and had they called him…friend, something he could not have imagined in the past. Now that Villius was gone, the knights had gone out to do justice in other parts of the world, becoming legends across the cube.
"It has been two stellar revolutions since the knights defeated Villus," Beag said as Leinad, one of soldiers in red, walked up to him with a data pad. "And despite the wars end, they have not stopped in their quest for justice." Beag turns his head as Leinad chimes in, "They are the knights, after all. They have a whole planet to protect. But at the same time, I miss seeing them as often as we did during the war." The gray and red Corekai looks out at the city around the fortress with Beag, who gives an affirmative chuckle. "As do I. But that is why we have to make our new city one worth showing them." The two Corekai look hopefully outwards to the buildings ahead of the fortress. With any luck, this will be a glorious age for Quarton to remember.
Aladar Caval:
Hello there, reader. Let this mark the beginning of a new project to bring together and continue two shows I love. I watched Tenkai Knights in my younger days, and Watamote more recently. I hope anyone who likes either or both of them might have some fun reading this story. If you have suggestions for story ideas, or other things to say, please leave a comment. Thank you.
